in the Flintstones. Yeah, Pebbles was originally going to be

a boy. It was a big deal that the Flintstones
were having a kid, right. A toy company told the
creators of the show, like, listen, baby girl dolls sell
way better than baby boy dolls, and they had marketing money.
They knew they had marketing dollars in their future, so
they changed Pebbles on the Flintstones to a girl.
