Speaker 1 (00:02):
It's Cobby and go see crazy first Date. We have
Sue on the phone. We're going back in time on
this one. When did you meet your crazy first date?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Oh? Goodness?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
So I met him in the bar.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It was in nineteen eighty four maybe, and we went
to a movie for the first date.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It was a comedy with Eddie Murphy. Thank goodness, because
I left the whole movie over what happened?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Well, this is what eighty four, you said, So that's
got to be Beverly Hills Cop.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
That's exactly what it was. Yes, Oh my goodness, I'm own.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Oh no, I just happened to like Eddie Murphy movies too,
and I remember eighty four was Beverly Hills Cop. But continue, Okay, So.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
We get to the theater. It's winter and they didn't
clear the parking lot. Well, so heading into the theater,
I'm walking up and he's got his arm, you know,
hooked with mine. Well, I slipped in the ice. I
fell so hard, and my first thought was I hope
nobody saw me. I was embarrassed, and he grabs me.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
He goes, are you okay.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
All of a sudden, all the movie theatre employees run
out to see if I'm okay, And then they said, oh,
the movie's on us. So he grabbed my arm and said, I.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Knew you'd be a cheap date baby, Okay. I literally
left with a whole movie.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
So wait, are you going to tell me next you're
married to this person or something?

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
No, he passed many years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
But did you get married?

Speaker 4 (01:24):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
No, we were together ten years.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
