Speaker 1 (00:02):
It's Covey and Gussie's crazy first date.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Like, Covey were talking with Mark him Mark, So when
did your crazy first date take place? How did you
meet each other?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
We met each other online, I guess, like a lot
of people do, and this hell happened probably I guess
about twelve years ago. Now. I was in my early
twenties at the time. Okay, I met this guy online
and we decided we were going to meet up and
go out. So he picks me up, which was nice,
and then I don't know, like five minutes after he

(00:32):
picks me up, we are pulling up to a red
light and he rear ends someone. So we pull over
on the side of the road and he gets out
and talks to the person who he rear ended, and
a second later he runs back into the car, starts
it up, and darts away, like and I see the
woman in the like behind the car, waving her hand
like where are you going?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
You know?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yeah, so it's clear to me this guy's hitting and
running now right. Oh no, he art's driving away real fast.
This woman is chasing him. I'm in the passenger seat.
I just met this guy. He runs a red light
to go through an intersection, and wouldn't you know it,
there's a cop that sees it. So the cop starts
flashing the lights and chasing us too, my date. He

(01:18):
pulls off on the side street, turns the car off,
and parks and tells me to duck. So we both
duck in the car and that was the end of
the first date as far as I was considered.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Wow, running from the law and dating noble law.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
You didn't even get anywhere yet.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
It was intense. He dropped me off after that. We
didn't date again, but about two years later we became friends.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yo, how did you become friends? How did that happen?

Speaker 1 (01:45):
We just never really stopped talking, even though it wasn't
like romantic, and he turned out to be a nice
guy and he became friends.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Okay, so he doesn't do this on a regular basis then, right,
I guess not know.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I'd like to think it was because he was young
and dumb.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
