One of six point seven FM six oh eight. Thank
(00:02):
you for waking up with us, Cubby and Nina, and
for Christine producer Christen. How we feeling, ladies?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Good? Was shaken?
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Nice to see you about Kristin.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Oh, thank you about that. You were kind of here yesterday, Yes,
working out of your basement. We tried it.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yeah, it didn't sound bad. You had a couple of
times where the internet popped on you.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
But yeah, I figured, you know, baby steps, right, there's
little things that are gonna need to be tweaked, but
not happening often obviously.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
But we did try it, so yeah, right. We did
it for two years. We did before you got the
Light FM.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
You did it for two years with a group of people.
I'm doing it by myself, but the morning show was
multiple people talking in different rooms, different towns, whole thing.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Well, you know when Christine was off during the pandemic
and you and I did a show together, it was
Was it tough for you because I did it every day?
You had to sign on from home just every now
and then. It's hard to get in that rhythm.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
I didn't I didn't mind. It's I mean, you're doing
it from your bedroom. Basically right. So there's that part
which is fantastic. Right, You just got to wake up
ten minutes before the show so you can brush your
teeth and then walk in and do it.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
That was the only good thing about the pandemic, the
fact that.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
For so many people, the only thing is you didn't
have to go anywhere, most of us, not all of.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Us, but you know what I mean, right, Yeah, we
were working at a home at our house and we
had FaceTime on yeah, and the lips wouldn't match up
with our audio, like we'd be talking on the radio,
but yeah, on face time, I wouldn't see the right thing. Anyway,
I'm glad those days are over. We're in the studio.
But if you have to do it from home, you know, Kristen,
you have the tools now, yes, yes we do. Speaking
of home, how's your home doing, because I know you
(01:26):
got central air conditioning put in, Nina.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
We've got central air. We're tweaking it a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
And a guy came in to put another vent or something.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
They put another vent in. My husband doesn't think it's
cool enough. Oh I think it's fine, but he's like, no,
I'm getting dressed in sweating so they came back really
nice guys. But they came back yesterday put another vent
on my side of the bed. So now there's two
in our bedroom. Okay, so hopefully I thought it was fine.
So we'll see.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Well, yeah, you'll need it. Today.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
The three h's hazy, hot, and human today and a
high of ninety. Today's Loving Day. It's a great day.
I was like, what's loving?
Speaker 2 (01:57):

What?
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well?
Speaker 1 (01:58):
The day commemorate the anniversary of the nineteen sixty seven
US Supreme Court decision Loving versus Virginia, Yes, which struck
down laws against interracial interracial marriage in America. And that's
why we celebrate loving.
Speaker 3 (02:11):

called mister and Missus Loving.
Speaker 2 (02:14):

because it is Superman Day. It's Red Rose Day, a
good day to buy roses for somebody you love. And
it's National Jerky Day, a day to celebrate everyone's favorite
road trip snack.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
It is always at the counter at the gas station.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Well, Christy just gave us an eh. I actually like
beef jerky. I don't need it, no to rubbery.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
I don't know what it is. I just I'm not
a fan. Yeah, but it's a popular one.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
What's your number one road trip snack. You're going on
a road trip, you have to have blank oreos. Oh
