Speaker 1 (00:00):
Shaggy one of six point seven light of them. Thank
you for waking up with us. Cubby and Christine produce
a Christen on vacation This week it's bring your kid
to work day and we knew today was coming, Christine,
I won't lie, though, I forgot about it. And then
we walked in the building and then in our hallway
here in front of the studio.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
What do you see is that finger paints? What is
that out there?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
I think it's fingerpaint and playto and a bunch of crayons.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I mean it says don't touch, but like I really
want to play with that.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Did you read the small print though?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
What it was? It?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
It says don't touch in big letters. Yeah, and then
the small print it says it's bring your kids to
work day for twenty fourth, So, like, you know, the
adults that are walking by here probably they probably set
this up last night. Yeah, and people are probably going
to try to steal it, or not steal.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It, but play. We'll take this home for my kids
and hey.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Just save it for tomorrow, which is today.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
So the kids get to play with it and we
don't get to go out there and play with them, you.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Know, what by ten o'clock when we leave. Okay, chances
are a big wave of kids have already been here.
Maybe we can subtly sneak one. I got to bring
one home to Naomi. I know that. Poor Naiomi. By
the way, I was actually thinking about bringing her today
to bring your kids to workday, but I decided not to,
Like weeks ago, but if I had, if today I
was bringing her, I probably would have canceled it because

(01:12):
she's home. We thought she was sick, but it's allergies.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
She's getting slammed without ladies.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, she woke up yesterday coughing so hard that she
was throwing up. We took her to the doctor. They
tested her for everything and they're like, I hate to
say it, I think it's just allergies, and they go
Spring is the worst time of year for doctors because
they sometimes it's hard to pinpoint which is which. But
it's her breathing. She's always had an asthma issue and

(01:38):
her breathing is very labored, so they had to get
her some albuterol's scary and inhale her. Yeah, but she
was just coughing all day yesterday and very lethargic. So
she stayed home from school yesterday, so hopefully she'll go in.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, how is she feeling today?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
She went to bed last night and the coughing had subsided.
Some feeling hopeful about today. But miss Karinn, if you're listening,
who runs the daycare. Hopefully you'll see Naomi today. You'll
definitely see Miles. He seems to be fine. He's like, yeah,
our three year old is bouns I you how about you?
Are you feeling the allergy? So are you feeling the
po I know we talked about the pollen every.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Daily we do. The air quality always affects me. So
unfortunately these fires, which you know, I'm so sad to
see that's happening in New Jersey, that's affecting the air quality.
So people who were sensitive, like Naomi sensitive to begin with, right,
asthma anything going on, you might feel that a little
bit more today.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Right, remember like two years ago, I think you was
it two years ago?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Two or three?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Now? You had the Canadian smoke here. Yeah, that was crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
The city was dark, right and orange orange? Yeah, that
was bizarre.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
It's not supposed to be that bad, but there will
be some haze and smoke in the air. So yeah,
if you have you know, lung issues, any kind.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Of breathing, any sensitivity, be aware of that.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Today high of seventy four, it's one of six point
seven light have FN We have three pretty cool things
coming up next
