Mall Walker

Megan from Meriden thinks her boyfriend is cheating on her. He was spotted at the mall with his buddy when he should have been doing lawn work. She wants to know why he was at the mall.

Yeah, so I'm worried that my boyfriend's cheating on me. Okay,
we were at dinner the other night. We ran into
a mutual friend and she was like, Hey, it was
great to see you at the mall the other day,
which I thought was super weird. Like I can't even
get him to go to the mall with me, like

he really he hates shopping and we'll just get out
the entire time. And so I was asking him about
it on the way home and he told me what
day it was, and he was supposed to be over
at his buddies doing yard work that day, and he

has super nervous about it and super weird about it.
And I can always tell that he's like what he's
lying because he's a really bad liar. And I just
thought it was really weird, and whenever I bring it up,
he just gets really weird about it. And I just
kind of want to know what's going on?

Okay? All right, so you and Josh three years together,
he's supposed to be with a buddy. Somebody sees him
at the mall. That's kind of like you showing up
to going to a mall with your friend Walmart. Jeff,
I don't see you ever going into a mall.

No, there's really no need for a guy.

To be out a mall.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
If I saw Walmart of shopping, I would just assume
that he would burst into flames, like that's so weird.

Yeah, you know what, Megan, I want to say that
we're just gonna call up Josh. We're gonna offer him roses.
We don't need any more information because you know your
man three years and he doesn't go to the mall
with you, and all of a sudden he spotted.

At the mall.

I mean, I don't know. We're gonna call him, okay, Megan,
and we're gonna offer him roses. We're gonna put you
on hold, jump in when you want. Let's call Josh.
Just weird unless he's meeting somebody at the mall, Like,
let's meet at the mall.

Nobody goes there?

Well, if you're ready to get going, I can take
down a message for you. I mean, this is not
going to cost you anything, so I you know, I
don't see why you wouldn't want to accept this.

to explain why Josh is on the radio this morning

Sir's just enacting so strange, Like it's mostly like the
mall thing, Like, why were you at the mall? That
makes no sense. I told you, I just I was
spending time with my buddy. We just had to get
some stuff done. I don't know why this is bothering
you so much, because you're so adamant about like not

shopping with me like and not going to anywhere that's
like close to a mall setting. And then and we weren't.
We just had to grab some stuff and go. We weren't.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
We weren't hanging out at the mall. I don't know
what else?

Do you want me to go get like security cameras
from the mall and show you that we just you know,
we're picking stuff up and what do you want?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Maybe maybe him and his buddies were just like enjoying
the casual mall pre you know, they have those pretzels nuts.

Yeah, yeah, I don't know.

Is yeah, I know it sounds odd, but I mean
I feel good that Josh wrote you know I love
you in the card and he sent the flowers to you, Megan.
And maybe he really just wanted to go shopping at
the mall with his buddies.

See when you say like that coordinate.

Comes out of my mouth, Josh, it does seem a
little suspect. I've got to say, are here's the question,
Are you cheating on Meghan? Let's just put it out there. No,
I'm not cheating on Meghan, and I honestly I'm insulted
you're asking.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Of course I'm not.

Okay, I listen. I think that's the answer. I don't
want to brow beat him. I think that's the answer
you're going to get, Meghan.

Yeah, and I believe you. I still think it's a
little strange, but like you know, I think Megan wanted
to be sure that nobody else was involved.

So I think you should test it out, and the
two of you should go to the mall together. He
always shops and grab a pretzel.
