Speaker 1 (00:00):
In Connecticut sears Corny and Kiss in the mornings, War
of the Roses.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
And Kiss ninety five to seven.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
We're in Ellington this morning. It's almost time for War
of the Roses. Kelly's on the line. She thinks her
boyfriend Nate is cheating. Good morning, Kelly, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yeah, I'm sorry we have to meet this way, but
hopefully we can help you out. Tell me, why do
you think your boyfriend Nate is cheating?

Speaker 4 (00:23):
I recently caught in texting his ex girlfriend Taylor, when
when I asked him about it, he told me it
was nothing and they're just friends, and I just I
don't believe him.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
We've been together for.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Like eight months and he's never texted her before this
that I'm aware of, Okay, but he's become more distant lately,
and he suggested that we take a break.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I just really yeah, I'm just so like blindsided and angry,
and I just want answers.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
Okay, So you're one of those girls that won't let
your man be friends with other women.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
An ex Jeff an X.

Speaker 7 (01:09):
That's very different.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
No, it's another woman, it's different.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah, that you had a romantic history with like that's
so different.

Speaker 6 (01:15):
So just because you had sex with him doesn't mean
you can't talk to me.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
By the way, Kelly never said she couldn't be friends
with him. She said she caught him texting her. She
never once said she told him he couldn't be friends.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
Yeah, but now she thinks she's cheating. So I guess
she's jealous of other women, Kelly.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
He's also acting distance distant, and he wants to take
a break.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
He suggested taking a break. Correct, exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I never I never told him he couldn't, like he
can't be friends with women. I am a trustworthy person.
But he's just giving me all these other reasons to
make me think that like this is happening, you know,
like we're we're on a break because of him.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
So here we are, all right, Jeff?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Are you okay if we call and ask him trying
to ask him if you want some roses and get
some info out.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Of them, you are right with that. Let's do it.
Should we have a woman call him or not? Should
it be a man? I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
Are you gonna be jealous there, Kelly?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
If Savannah, God stop it, Savannah's gonna be the florist Kelly.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
This is what we're gonna do. Gonna call up Nate.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
You're gonna be listening in at any point, jump in
if you want to jump in.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
We're gonna see if we can get some information.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Out of them.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Okay, Okay, here we go.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Okay, hold on the fact that he was texting his
ex Taylor.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
If they weren't friends before this, you know what I mean,
Like if it's out of the blue.

Speaker 7 (02:43):
Hi, is Nate there?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yes, hey, Nate, this is Laura calling from Flowers Express
here in Ellington.

Speaker 7 (02:48):
How's it going.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (02:50):
Good, good good, Thank you so much for asking.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I'm just calling to give you a little courtesy call.
You are the winner of our online weekly contest. You've
just picked up a dozen free roses. Congratulations.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
Oh wow, Uh they're free.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
They're free, like, yeah, one one free.

Speaker 7 (03:07):
This is kind of a marketing promotion that we do.
I will tell you. The only catch is it is
a paid forward promotion. Like I said, with marketing, we
won't send the flowers to you because.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Then, like, no one's going to see how beautiful they are,
so we'll send them to somebody else on your behalf.
You'll obviously look like the hero, and then you know,
somebody sees the beautiful work that we do here at
Flowers Express.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Okay, all right, yeah that sound good. Yeah sure, okay, excellent.

Speaker 7 (03:31):
I have a card here. If you are ready to go,
we can take down a little message.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
Uh yeah, that's great. Okay, right, uh yeah, right right.
I miss you so so much.

Speaker 7 (03:44):
I miss you so so much.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Would you like like a little heart emoji or like
maybe flower emoji, you know, because you're sunny flowers. Okay, perfect,
and then I can I grab a name to adjust
the card to please?

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Yeah? Send like dude Taylor to Taylor.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
You said.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Awesome, And I was Taylor like a girlfriend, a cousin mom.
Maybe maybe you're missing your mom.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
No, I'm just like a lady, a lady who I'm
acquainted with.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
Oh oh so like an aquaintance.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Lying, cheating. I knew that you I knew that this
was happening. I knew that it wasn't just anything that you.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
You and I are on a break, and if we're
on a break, then it's a break.

Speaker 7 (04:58):

Speaker 5 (05:01):

for us to figure everything out.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Break. You want to break. You wanted to break.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
You wanted to break. You're the one who started to
seeing that we should have a break. I was fine,
I was.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Fine, You were fine, But you were texting your ex
girlfriend and you miss her so so much.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
There was two sus in there, so so what do
you have decaid for that?

Speaker 5 (05:41):

like a this is you give your avalanche on me. Man.
It's is not this is like a This is like
a setup. So you're not seeing the whole story here.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
I agree. Sometimes we don't get the whole story. I
get it. So there's always two sides. But it sounds
like you.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Guys need to have a conversation off the air, maybe
work things out through therapy. This is what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna put you both on hold. You can talk
a little off the air. We also offer counseling. If
you guys want to go to counseling and work things out,
we will pay for the counseling.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Okay, fine. The counselor can be find what breaks are
and what they and then the parameters of them in general.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
This makes a sense, Okay, maybe a therapist can help
you define what a break is.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
I'm gonna put you guys on hold and keep us
posted on things. Please, thanks for being on one of
