This is the podcast conversation Patty.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I'm a baby boomer. I'm Patty Jensen.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
I'm a radio vet out of Philadelphia, and I love
conversations with the young ins, gen Z, gen X, millennials, men, women,
We do it all and right now we're talking about
the trends of twenty twenty four. As we get ready
to say hi to twenty twenty five, dex is here
and des Americans. This is a trend. Americans are sobering up.
(00:50):
Whether they're sober, curious that semi dry January, mindful, drinking
your thoughts? Are Americans sobering up.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
After the year we've had. I do not think Americans
are sobering up. I think they're getting high. That's what
they're doing. They need something stronger.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Americans are adopting slow lifestyles, ones that are mindful, meaningful.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Full of unfulfilling buzzyness. And there's a.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Hashtag for the stacks slow life.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
I've never heard of that one, but I don't think
i'll participate. I don't think I like that one.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Even as you enter parenthood, you don't see yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
No, I don't want to slow down. I need to
speed it up. I got things to do.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Oh you do, Oh, you do have things to do. Pop.
That's what I'm calling you from now on. Pop.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
How about people using artificial intelligence as their assistance, like
they are really relying on artificial intelligence?
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Oh so it's not just me because you can't ask
me a question and I'm not going to chat GPT
to get the answer, Like that is like what I do. Yeah,
that's that's what I do. But I'm not really that smart.
I'm like a chat GPT. You got to say, then
I'll give you my answers.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Oh my gosh, I'm afraid of chat gi gp AI.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
I'm afraid of it.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
I don't like the AI stuff, though I like the
check because to me, chat GPT the way I use
it's kind of like Google, except you get like a
quicker answer, maybe more to the point that you're looking for.
But I don't like the AI images. I don't mess
with that at all.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Well, I just want you to now they say Americans
are sober ring up and using AI a lot.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
So we just getting lazy.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Thanks for joining us on the podcast. Patty and the
Millennials re screen. He's joining us. He's representing gen Z
graduating from Saint Joe's next spring. We're talking about trends, Redes,
did you know that Americans are sobering.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Up like that means just they done drinking? Like well, it.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Goes under sober, curious, semi dry January, mindful drinking.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
M I see, I see.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
I will say in college that is not a thing.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Okay, okay, have you heard of a slow life?
Speaker 5 (03:36):
A slow life is that where people are? Is that
the new thing now? Where people are like like you said,
the soberness like just taking things one by one or
is that full?
Speaker 3 (03:44):
People want to be more mindful. They want life that
is more meaningful and free of unfulfilling busyness. Now, the
slow lifestyle doesn't look the same for everybody. Some people
may focus on work or family, but they just want
a slower lifestyle.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
Your thoughts, I think it's doable. The only thing my
my only issue is life is very unpredictable and to
continue this slow lifestyle that takes a lot of discipline
and a lot of, like you said, with that mindfulness
and things like that, because unexpected things will happen, and
if you have good discipline then you can handle your stress.
(04:25):
Then you can continue that slow lifestyle. But at some
point life is going to pick up.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
The winter trends of twenty twenty fours, we get ready
to d the year, DESI, nil is joining us, DESI.
Do you know about the winter penis? Okay, winter penis,
(04:51):
winter penis.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
As opposed to summer penis.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, wow, I'm going to tell you what the difference is.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Winter penis is when the penis recedes into the body
to stay warm because it's cold. And it can happen
to any age. This is a real thing. Yeah, it
gets cold, It gets cold.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
Well, what about the ones that's just lazy?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Is stay in there anyway? I'm sorry, Well, I don't
know what to call them, but winter.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Penis is a real thing.
Speaker 6 (05:29):
I have no idea. How do you find this stuff?
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Auntie is all knowing, That's all I'm gonna say. I'm
all knowing, but that is a real thing. Many Americans
adopting a slow lifestyle because they're looking for something that
is more mindful, meaningful, and free of unfulfilling busyness.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Your thoughts, Auntie, this is on point.
Speaker 7 (05:55):
I am so in this very space right now. I'm
reading a book called Rest is Resistance, and it is
exactly it's saying what you're saying. It is challenging this busyness,
this chasing of the tail. And for me, I'm more
in tune. I need alignment more than chasing. Things that
I've chased have never really worked out. They've never really
aligned with my core values. They made me unhappy or
(06:17):
tired or beat. But when I just align and I
do things that I align with, I feel refreshed. I
feel revived, you know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
Think about this right here.
Speaker 7 (06:26):
This opportunity to be with you was an alignment. I
didn't have to chase it. It just kind of happened
from helping somebody else. And so it's been one of
those fulfilling things I should in align with this, Auntie,
I think it's time for us to do that.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
No more chasing the tail.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
The trends of twenty twenty four. Maybe you didn't know.
That's why I am here to tell you. Author Kimberly Reid.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Is joining us Optimists always wins. And we're talking about trends. Kimmy,
are you familiar with the winter penis? And that's a
real thing, everybody. The ain't not not made up.
Speaker 6 (07:06):
No, I need to see this documentation. I gotta see
this documentation, Lord have mercy. Oh wow, what is that?
Speaker 2 (07:13):
A winter?
Speaker 3 (07:14):
A winter penis recedes back into the body when it's
too cold. We are heading into the winter months where
it's cold. So what the penis does. It recedes into
the body so we can get that body heat. And
this happens to all ages. It ain't just an age thing.
Speaker 6 (07:36):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Are you familiar?
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Oh my god, you're gonna see how I'm looking at
the phone right now.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
No, okay, okay, Well that's that's a trend.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
That that is something.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Being being demure, where people are being demure and mindful,
like being demure at work. Had to be reserved, modest, shy.
This is not something I'm good at. This is a trend.
Could you be good at this?
Speaker 6 (08:09):
I have to be because of the work I do.
So it's funny. So you know, after the election, I
had to be that way because you know, I have
to you know, I have clients, so I have to
have a balanced, a balanced opinion. I have a balanced attitude.
You know, everybody was in their feelings right at most
people in their feelings after the elections, and I was
(08:33):
one of those people. But I couldn't show up to
a client who I know is a Republican with guns blazing.
I just couldn't do that. So, yeah, I know it's
a trend and a lot of people have to do
it to Patty. Also for mental health reasons. People in
the workplace are most and now I won't say most,
(08:53):
but some people have issues. I'm you know, I'm in
Atlanta right now doing some work and doing some work
back at home because you know, there's an issue in
the workplace, and so we just have to you know,
it is a trend, but it's necessary. Right now. People
are on edge. People are on edge for this uncertainty
(09:14):
of what's going to what the nation will be after January,
so you and just sadness, you know, the holidays, some
people who are single, you know, all of that stuff.
It shows up in what we do every day and
it shows up in the workplace. So I could totally
see that, totally see that as a trend That was
a good one you brought up, though, I.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Just told people, don't bother me today.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
That was my response. Don't bother me today. Don't be
bringing up stuff I don't feel like talking today.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
You don't give people five chap.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
The podcast conversation Patty and the millennials, we've got most
se Loren. We're talking about trends, the trends in twenty
four as we get ready to say hello to twenty
five moche. Are you familiar with the winter penis?
Speaker 8 (10:07):
Yo, What the winter penis is when it's cold, and
what the penis does?
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Look at me telling like a school teacher. What the
penis does. It precedes back into the body because it
needs that body heat.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
This is a real thing.
Speaker 8 (10:31):
But the fact that you're bringing into the fourth front
is what I'm most most you know, surprised about, because
first of all, the winter penis, what about when it's
summertime and the penis still retracted up into the body. Well,
we were from there, we were pens in the summer.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Okay, Well that is a question that we'll have to
deal with the summer time, because right now I don't
have the answer.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
We're just going to stick.
Speaker 8 (10:58):
To the winter penis is okay, the winter Yeah, so
this is a thing. Yeah I'm saying in social media.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah it is.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
It really, It's not something that just randomly made up.
It is really something.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Yes, okay, so let me ask you this.
Speaker 8 (11:18):
So what are we are we trying to help them
resolve the winter penis? Because here's what my suggestion would be.
Took to the guys that suffer from winter penis. My
suggestion would be to get you a you know, some
like some boxers with warmers, like you know how they
have warming gloves like little things. I would say, get
(11:40):
some warmers for your boxers because you know, we like
a good gray sweatpant and we want to see that
imprint and all that stuff. So we need you to
keep that thing nice and warm, right, so it doesn't
receive and go back.
Speaker 6 (11:52):
Yeah, we need it to be fully exposed.
Speaker 8 (11:56):
I don't even know we're going to talk about the winter,
but now that we're talking about it, yeah, on how
to keep keep the bold voges.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Another another trend, are people really relying on AI as
their personal assistant?
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Oh? You do? I'm scared of it.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
You know what, here's the thing when you can't beat them,
you got to join them.
Speaker 9 (12:26):
And at this point AI is helping with convenience like it.
Where before you had to sit down and figure out,
you know, how to write this particular letter or how
to respond to this particular email. How many times have
you composed an email, backspace, thought about what you were saying,
and then compose it again. You can now say the AI, Hey,
(12:48):
I'd like to send this email. I wanted to be direct,
but yet I wanted to be professional and tell it
what you wanted to do, and it'll fit out exactly
what you want to say in.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
The tone that you need to.
Speaker 10 (13:00):
You can't.
Speaker 8 (13:01):
You can't run away from that, you know, and tell
they got Tesla robots now, Daddy Rustla robots running around.
Kim Kardashian just got her one. So it's one of
those things where as much as we hate to see
it coming, it's not going anywhere. So we just have
to find our space in place within it and figure
out how it can create some more efficiency and convenience
(13:23):
for our own lives and use it like that, but
not to the point where you are not simulating your
own brain power, because you can't literally rely so heavily
on it that you forget to think on your own.
So I think you just have to manage how you
use it and how often.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Once again with tackling trends, we've got chocolate divinity. Hey,
Victoria Charleston joining us, We get ray say hello to
twenty twenty five. Yes, but the trends at twenty twenty
four are like the winter penis.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
No, and what is this trend?
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Patty, Okay, I will explain it to you and mind
Julia Childes.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Boys, it's Julia.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
The winter penis is when the penis recedes and back
into the body to maintain body heat. And it can
happen to all ages. Yes, all right, this is a
real thing. People think I've made this up.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
It's real. It really is. Now does the winter.
Speaker 11 (14:31):
Doesn't effect the lobido the sex drive to men? Are
you not serving because of the winter penis?
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Well, the penists must come out, freaks out at night,
come out and n I mean I'm off for it.
I mean some winter penis, that winter penis is.
Speaker 11 (14:50):
This is this kind of sliding into a homosexual vilm.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
No, no, no, okay, but the winter he just said
that winter peanuts.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
It wants to be warm yeah, so eats back, ladies,
warm up.
Speaker 11 (15:04):
Warmama, take it a little more time.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Americans are sobering up. Yes, so you see this is
a thing.
Speaker 11 (15:14):
Oh these kids, I'm like, so my sister, she's about
to be twenty one years illed. It floors me every time,
like these kids, they don't have that drinking culture, they
don't have that club culture.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
I'm like, well, what's y'a advice? What y'all do together? Live?
But they do not.
Speaker 11 (15:32):
It's very odd, but it's also very refreshing to see
it on their end because I feel like a lot
of times our generation it was to you know, concerned
with alcohol and libations, as if you couldn't have a
good time without it. And that's not necessarily so.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
So although I.
Speaker 11 (15:49):
Don't fully I'm like, nah, I need a drink, so,
but I can appreciate what these younguins are out here
doing because.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
It's everything from it says that sobering up, limiting the
use of alcohol for a temporary or prolonged period, whether
it's sober curious, whether it's a semidriede January.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
And mindful drinking. This is a trend. I like this.
I like this.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
We're getting ready to say hello to twenty twenty five,
but we want to take a look back at the
trends of twenty twenty four. That trend broadcaster Uncle Oh
is here and this was the year oh that they
say Americans sobered up.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
That apparently in people.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
I can't either, But they're saying that people are not
drinking as much. And my thought is, especially with younger people,
is it because they can't afford it?
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Oh, that's a good question, Yeah, they can Is.
Speaker 12 (16:52):
It because they can't afford the tickets they've.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Been getting too?
Speaker 12 (16:55):
Okay, people may have been getting This could be a
few reasons people beginning tickets. They're finding out their health
is declining because of it. And then on top of that,
it's more expensive now to buy liquors, so you're onto something.
I think it could be either of those situations.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
Well, they're calling it souper curious, semi dry January, mindful drinking.
Speaker 12 (17:24):
I hope they take that into account come the New
Year and Christmas and when it's time to go home.
Here's the most important thing about all of this. Get
an uber, get a lift, Do not do not drink
and drive. I don't care if you stay get drunk
and you can afford it, don't drive.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Arlene Feld their glassy Brown Cookies is here. We getting
ready to say hello to twenty twenty five, but first
we are gonna talk about the trends of twenty twenty four,
and some of them include the winter.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Penis, the winter one. The winter penis. Okay, okay, it's
cann ma it cold.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
This is when it's so cold outside that the penis
recedes back into the body to maintain warmth.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
And this goes for all ages.
Speaker 10 (18:27):
Interesting, I've never heard of this before, never.
Speaker 6 (18:30):
Heard of it that way.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Please okay, Well, the penis acts a little differently in
cold weather, and it wants to just maintain the body heat,
so it will receive. Now, if it's warm up, it
will come out. It will it will say, hey, we're here.
(18:54):
But that that's a that's a trend. This is why
you like talking to me, Arean, because you find out
like stuff like that.
Speaker 6 (19:03):
Listen, I'm sitting here thinking like, well, has you been
in hibernation for the rest of the whole year?
Speaker 3 (19:08):
No, when it warms up, you know, like you warm
up something, warm it up, Chris.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
So.
Speaker 10 (19:16):
I guess it's a hot peen of summer in a
seamy hot winters.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yeah, yeah, Wow.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Americans adopting a slow lifestyle. This was actually trending the
hashtag slow life. Slow life is different for everybody. But
when you're just more mindful, more meaningful, and free of
unfulfilling busyness.
Speaker 10 (19:48):
Hm, well, you know, I guess that's that's pretty could
be a pretty good statement, because when your mind is decluttered,
sometimes our mind are so cluttered it can go from
into our house and make our house clutters. So I
guess that's a pretty good statement here.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
I agree dasih Moore Evans is joining us social media
extror it there. As we get ready to say hello
to twenty five daysia, we're going to look back at
twenty twenty four and some of the trends. One of
them people are drinking less and young people are drinking less. Yes,
(20:29):
Is it because of the price? Can't you can't afford it?
Speaker 13 (20:34):
I think, honestly, it could get me sure both. I
think I don't see a lot of people are becoming
more aware of the fact that stuff is just really
not healthy. And I see a lot of people, like
you know, younger people are looking like okay, thing on
a new health kick. Is like inspiring. You have people
like you know who people look up to, like girls
like making a stallion. Are people like who are big
and they're like it's in a gym doing their fitness.
So people are just into their health these days.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
I'm realizing, Yes it is. It's a lifestyle trend.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
If you're sober curious, if you have a semi dry January,
and mindful drinking is in.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Mine.
Speaker 13 (21:11):
Okay, Michael drinking, explain that a little bit mindful drinking.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Well, you're you're you're looking and saying I can't. We're
gonna we're gonna talk about the brown liquor. I can't
have two shots at that because it's gonna it's gonna
make me feel crazy.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
Yes, very mindful, very so new yours what we call it.
Speaker 13 (21:30):
Yeah, I'm very very very mindful.
Speaker 6 (21:32):
About what you're doing. I'm the same way with that, like, okay,
I know my limits now.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yes, that is mindful drinking. We've got Lexi, We've got
sex doctor Heather. Hey, ladies, Hey, we're talking about Okay,
we get rayed. Say hello to twenty twenty five. But
we're looking back on the trends of twenty twenty four.
People they say, are not drinking. There's this thing as
(22:02):
mindful drinking, LEXI, what do you think it is?
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Is it they can afford back all?
Speaker 14 (22:11):
I think it's you know, it may be disinterest because
of how they feel if they don't do it in moderation.
So I'm more of like a wine drinker. I pulled
back from cocktails. It could be the expense. It could
be just like people are very more health conscious, you know,
and the chemicals and things that are in it too,
and mocktails are coming back up too, so that could
be it.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Americans, Americans are sobering up.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
This this surprise you, doctor Heather, It.
Speaker 15 (22:36):
Doesn't you know. I just came back from Mexico at
a wedding and I went to this resort probably six
years ago in twenty eighteen, and they did not have
mocktails on the menu. So when I went to this
all inclusive, like really nice resort, they got mocktails now, right,
And my partner doesn't drink, so it's kind of amazing.
(22:57):
Now everywhere we go, he's the designated of course, and
they have mocktails.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
On the menu and it's amazing. So it doesn't surprise me. Actually,
a lot of people are not drinking.
Speaker 15 (23:08):
He's never had a drink in his life, he said,
he's just not interested.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Wow, well this is I have a cousin like that.
This is one of the trends.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Another trend and doctor heada, it's going to get a
kick out of. This is the winter penis. Oh, I
always get this one.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
There's such a thing as a winter penis, and I'll
explain it to you.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Okay, okay, Lexi, are you ready because you seem like
you just dropped out.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I'm ready, Okay, I'm ready.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
A winter a winter penis is when it's very cold outside.
And what the penis does it recedes back into the
body to maintain body heat. That's going to affect the
male of all ages. But it just wants to be warm. Now,
if you're warm it up, let's go back to that
(24:03):
Cris Cross record. Warm it up, Chris, it'll come back.
Speaker 15 (24:09):
Yep, it'll come back out. That's what happens in cold
water and cold That's why they say go take a
cold shower when they're excited.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yep. So it's true. That is something, Lexi, I've silenced
you up.
Speaker 14 (24:24):
I'm glad to hear it because again, as a Duela
and they come up with my postpartum families too, But
I'm not surprised, and that makes sense. Like what doctor
Heaven said, he wants to go into hibernation a little
bit because it's cold outside.
Speaker 15 (24:37):
Yep, that's why you got to just extra effort at
this point, guys. You know, you got to like really
get some effort going to get that when your penis
to come out.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Okay, all right, that's good.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Blagger Whitney Roberts is joining us the editor of the
Download News, which is excellent. I love I love I
love the social media. I just want to say I'm
a fian. Whitney is here. We're getting ready to say
hello to twenty twenty five. Right, but let's go back
to some of the trends of twenty twenty four. People
(25:13):
are not drinking as much, is it younger people because
they can't afford the liquor, or to being more mindful
about their drinking.
Speaker 14 (25:26):
So what I've seen is it it's a mix of
both where you know, you know, our first drings were a.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Little bit tighter this year.
Speaker 14 (25:35):
I feel like people are gonna loosen up towards the
end of the year because you know, twenty twenty five
is gonna be a very.
Speaker 15 (25:40):
Interesting year for a lot of us, so why not
have a little bit of extra drink.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
But I feel like it's a mix of both.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
People are being more mindful another trend. And you'll probably
say it's patty, why you.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Just bring enough stuff?
Speaker 3 (25:56):
That makes me giggle, But I have to winter winter penis?
Speaker 2 (26:02):
What winter penis?
Speaker 3 (26:05):
This is when the penis it recedes into the body
to maintain body heat. But if you're warm it up,
it'll come out.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Well, you know, that's that's an interesting bodily functioned.
Speaker 15 (26:27):
Because I don't have to worry about that, but like
I see why, I see the practicality of that.
Speaker 8 (26:32):
So you're best of luck.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
To those who experience that.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, it's nothing to be ashamed of. It happens at
all ages. It's just it's just one of those things.
It's cold, Warm it up, Warm it up. Chris Comedian
erically is here and we're you know, we're gonna ready
to say hello to twenty twenty five, but we have to
look back on twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
And one thing.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
That's prized me people are not drinking as much.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Your thoughts, well, that's good.
Speaker 16 (27:09):
That might be healthy. It's healthy. That's almost like cigarette smoker. Oh,
some wines are good for you. But if people aren't
drinking as much, the doctors say that's good.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Wow, Well, they say.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Americans are sobering up, whether it's a semi dry january,
if you're sober curious or some people. They are into
mindful drinking. More Americans are adopting slow lifestyles. The hashtag
is slow life, but it's not to save everybody. People
(27:44):
are being more mindful, meaningful, and they want to be
free of unfulfilling busyness.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Does this surprise you.
Speaker 16 (27:55):
Now, because you know what it is. Because we're the
world is so fast. We need to slow down and
we need to enjoy each other. So I agree with
it a whole lot. I agree with it one thousand percent.
Take time out and enjoy each other, Take time out
and eat healthy, go to the doctors. You know, because
the millennials are always in a hurry, and it seemed
(28:15):
like they only get together when it's a funeral.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
Hmmm, what about the younger the gen z he you
got I said it?
Speaker 16 (28:24):
What about they get together when it's a funeral and
they got on those rest in peace? T shirts and
they don't have no life insurance. And then they go
fund me and I tell them, I'm not giving you
a quarter. You know, you should have had your you
got insurance on your phone, You got insurance on your phone.
You should have had some life insurance. And go down
there to get cremated for eight hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
I can't take you sometime, but really I can't. I can't.
This is it is it food for thought.
Speaker 16 (28:55):
But these young people don't know nothing. You know, they
think they know everything, but when something happens, that's when
they get together and say, we need to be a
family and we need.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
To this, that and the other.
Speaker 16 (29:05):
We especially African Americans, we need to take more time
with life insurance. We need to take more time on
our health, and we need we need to take more
time to love each other. But we always in a hurry,
and we always say how much you love each other?
After you looking at the person in that box, and
then they say, well he was in a better place.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
No not, he's in a box.
Speaker 6 (29:26):
That a better place.
Speaker 16 (29:32):
I mess around in cremate you. I told people in
my family you ain't got no shorts. I can't help you.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Derek first of all, I be laughing at the wrong things,
but I appreciate your honesty.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
I appreciate people honest with each other. We lie too much.
Speaker 16 (29:47):
These generations needs are being raised on their phone and
they think they.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Know more than you.
Speaker 6 (29:53):
I don't want people.
Speaker 16 (29:55):
Without children trying to tell me how to raise my children.
I don't want a man that and they never had
a wife or a girlfriend trying to give me relationship advice.
You ain't got a woman. Poor people giving me financial advice.
