it's shout out to Boudoir Mike in Lakeworth. He called
to let us know that the Costco in Stewart's is
in fact opening at eight o'clock this morning. None of
the news websites, would you know, the local news websites
(00:31):
would give us a time.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
So I couldn't find it. But I didn't see a
sign on the news and it did say eight am.
And there's already people in line. They've been in line
for over an hour.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Oh yeah, ever since we came on the air this morning.
So thank you Boudoir Mike bringing the good news today. Well,
we do have good news to get to this morning.
Our friend David Brown called and get this. He competes
in the Special Olympics. He recently got first place in
the long jump for him. But wait, there's more. He
(01:00):
has been invited to the state competition May sixteenth and
seventeenth in Orlando. So yeah, absolutely, David. Oh, I was
so bad. My friend when I was a, you know,
a kid, my friend Brian Hunter talked me into doing
a summer summer track program and I would go and
I was not fast. He was real, he was really good.
(01:21):
I was not fast, and I thought, well, let me
try the long jump. I was I suck so bad?
I don't know, I think maybe so, because I was like,
why am I here running in the summer heat in Texas.
I'm long jumping and I suck at all this. I
was like, God, I got to get out of this
horrible memories. But I'm glad for you.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Well, there's an eighteen year old girl in Pennsylvania. Her
name is Victoria Hoffman, and she was just asking social
media for feedback about her prom dress. She's homeschooled, so
she doesn't get to go to a lot of school functions,
but she was invited to prom and she had this
dress and she wasn't certain if it was worthy of
the prom, So she was just asking questions and people
(02:09):
didn't just give Victoria a vote of confidence. They also
sent her money and words of encouragement. She says she
got enough money to cover prom graduation and even more
to pay for her EMT training.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Here's Victoria thanking everyone.
Speaker 1 (02:23):

we have to get our digital social numbers up.
