Take Down The Bananas

So yesterday we went to Doris Italian market and bakery.
We did and you know, I got my glass of wine,
I got my slice of pizza, and I'm sitting out
on the patio eating it, and I get a text
from like our big boss, big big boss. Yeah, he's
not even in this building. It's like, you know, he's
too big for this. He's too big for this building.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
It's one of them. He's not a large man. I'm
just saying, no, you understand.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Yeah, he's big in the company. And if the picture
he sent me, he texted me a picture of some
bananas and it was on a you know, a Facebook page,
but I couldn't see which page it was.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
And so You're like you were out and about right.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah, And I'm just thinking, okay, what does Mark want
us to do something with this? And but then his
text came in right away after the picture. Hey, mo favor,
we got a C and D regarding toast and banana's
image posted by the show and need it removed asap?
Can you make that happen and text me when it's done.
And I'm like, oh, jesu, a cease and desist on
a picture of bananas? What and toast, and then I

wrote to him, I said, do you know which page
this is on? I'm not near a computer right now,
and if I have access to the page, I'll take
it down asap. And he says, all I know was
the Moan Sally Morning Show was flagged, so start there.
And I'm like, oh man, this guy is serious. So
I started sweating. So I'm seriously out there.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
So our relaxing adventure at Doris is no newkaput. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
So I'm out there and I'm scrolling through all these
pictures on our Facebook page looking for this image and
I'm trying to and I can't find it, and I'm
out there for like thirty minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Sure, I was like, and I just went missing.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I was panicking, and so I walked back in the
store and Sally was like, where have you been? And
I'm like, oh, geez, I got this text from Mark
and we got to get this picture down. They got
a C and D cease and desist. You know, I
don't want to get sued over a picture of bananas.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah. Meanwhile, you're texting you did a group text with
all of us in it, and my ass will sleep.
So I ain't see none of this until it was
all over. Yeah, I know, none of this was happening.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Clint our web guy, he you know. And then Mark says, hey,
if you can't do it, get Clint or Brian on it,
get some help on this. And I'm like, oh man,
this guy is serious. So I'm literally like sweating and like,
oh god. So I went. The reason I couldn't find
it was because Clint, I guess, got the message our
digital our digital guy, and he took it down. That's

why I couldn't find.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
He had already taken it down. And what year this
picture was posted?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Twenty nineteen and he said, okay, here.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
We're getting a cease and desist over a photo that
was posted six years ago.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, that apparently. I guess we didn't have permission to post.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Bananas with numbers on it. I don't know what the
big deal is, but they was real serious.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
But somebody's just hunting for money.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah, probably because it wasn't I was told it wasn't
just our station. Oh no, other iHeart stations had posted
this picture as well, so we were all mentioned. All
these shows were mentioned and radio stations, So I felt
better about that that we weren't the only ones, but
I was like, really, we're gonna possibly be sued over
a picture of bananas and toast that's six years old. Yeah,

and so I was like, Okay, this is why I
hate social media.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
I never I never post a picture unless I took it.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
But see, the rules were different back.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Into the town, right, Yeah, now they changed them. And
who even would own a photo of that to be
able to claim it? Like?

Speaker 1 (03:23):
It's very confusing, it really is. So anyway, my time
at Doors yesterday was very stressful, and not because of Doris.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
No, not because of Doors at all. We were having
a great time until that happened.

Well, and once this was resolved, I went back to
