(01:47):
it. Sit back, relax,It's Crystal's Nightcap. Let's get this out
of the way. I'm done withmy figure skating career. Okay, no
I'm not, but It's just thatI decided to switch up the ice skating

(02:08):
rink that I was going to.I was going to Chilsea Peer and it
was so amazing. It was sucha vibe, It was so chill,
and I want to get a littlesofty, I want to get a little
extra, So I decided to booka session at Woman Rink in Central Park,
which is probably like the most famousice rink on the planet. The
problem is so many people skate onthat thing. As soon as my beautiful,

(02:31):
brand new figure skates hit the ice, I felt like I was skating
on gravel. It was so bad. I felt like I was going to
fall. I felt like I couldn'teven practice my swivels frontwards backwards one foot
because I was just gonna fall.So I really okay. The cool thing

(02:53):
about Woman Rink, though, isthat when you buy a pass, you
can be there the entire day,Like there is no time limit on how
long you could be on the ice, other than if they're gonna hit the
zamboni. But I got on theice right after the zamboni, and even
though it was quote fresh ice, that was not fresh, that was not
fit, that was not fun.It was a fright. So I haven't
been ice skating since. I'm gonnatry to go this weekend. Zaday.

(03:16):
My boyfriend has been in town forthe past few days, so I have
not been on the ice, eventhough he really wants to go and watch
me. I felt bad though, because he is still struggling with his broken
toe, his broken sexy big righttoe, so he can't even ice skate.
So I feel bad taking him toone my sessions and him just sitting

(03:38):
there and watching me, even thoughhe says he really really wants to.
But that's just not fun like Ilike to do stuff with him. So
I haven't been on the ice since. I'm gonna try to go this weekend.
But that's a little update on myfigure skating Olympic ice skating career.
Now let's talk about planning myra.Yes, ladies and gentlemen, how Craig
Cray, I am turning a thirtyon March fifteenth, and I'm going to

(04:00):
be spending my birthday on an airplaneafter work because I'm going back home to
spend it with my family. Now, this was this was an interesting conversation
with myself about what I wanted todo for my Thrinthanierra my Dirty thirty because
last year we celebrated my brother Junior'sDirty thirty and we had a big old
batchanga back in the Bay with ourwhole family in California. We rented out

(04:23):
a salon, we had a DJ, we had a bar yo. It
was cracking. And for my twentyninth birthday, I had a little birthday
dinner because I saw like birthday dinnerswere a big thing, So I had
a birthday dinner here in New YorkCity with like I invited like twenty five
people, twenty RSVP'd fifteen showed up. Birthday dinners are hell of expensive.

(04:45):
I put down a crazy deposit forthis restaurant that was like mid and like
I'm saying, people didn't show up. Honestly, it was fun, but
I think that I was like tryingto do the cool thing and trying to
like prove to myself that I hadhell of friends, and looking back,
like, I don't even talk toa lot of those people that were at
my birthday party. I'm so happythat my brother and my cousin Gavi and

(05:09):
some really close friends here at workwere able to show up. But there
were some other people that I wasjust like really trying. I was reaching.
I was reaching to have this likebig birthday dinner, and it was
fun and it was fresh, eventhough I drank way too much and ended
up falling down at the strip cluband pretty much blacked out and facetied my

(05:30):
boyfriend like forty times on the wayhome, and he was really annoyed.
But yeah, I just wanted.I thought that I was going to be
doing a trip for my Dirty thirty. I wanted to do a very small
trip with just my really close friends. I wanted to go to the Mikinos
or somewhere that I've never been before, with maybe like four or five max
of us. But I don't know. I have vacation time, and my

(05:54):
boss is so strict with our workhours that I'm barely gonna have any vacation
time to do anything this year. And we're really down people when it comes
to taking over for us. Sowe have like a very stern talk about
our hours and the four vacation daysthat the union gives us. So if

(06:15):
I want to spend time with myfamily during the holidays, I'm going to
have to be very strict with myvacation time and I have weddings and stuff
too this year that I want tomake in Mexico time. Yan Like,
my cousins are having their big oldwedding in Mexico, so I want to
spend some time with my family forthat. So it's looking like I'm not
going to be doing a whole bunchof vacationing for me. But that's okay,

(06:35):
like anal problem. I was like, what else would I want to
do? So I was talking toZaddi about this, my boyfriend I was.
He was like, what are wegonna do for your dirty thirty?
Like, I want to help youplan whatever you want to do. I
was like, I kind of wantto have a limo party in New York
and just have my cousin Gutty, and my brother Junior, and you and
my little brother a Semon pull upjust like the five of us, and

(06:57):
I want to run to Limo forus and just get drun the limo and
run around the city. So thatsounded super fun. And then we're kind
of going through the list and Iwas thinking, yeah, but for my
dirty thirty, like I do kindof want to see my parents and I
do kind of want to see someof my other cousins, and you know
what, let me just kind ofrun back the party bus that I did
for my twenty well, I thinkit was like twenty sixth or twenty fifth

(07:19):
birthday, twenty sixth birthday, Ibelieve, twenty seventh, right before the
pandemic. Twenty twenty, I hada prom birthday party and all my best
friends we dressed up like it wasprom, and I rented out a bus
for us and I just bussed usaround San Francisco. So I was like,

(07:40):
that was so fun. I kindof want to do that again,
and let's just do that. SoI'm like, you know what, I'm
going to have a dinner with myfamily and my close family and then all
the youngins We're going to pack intoa party bus and have my Threethanierta on
a party bus and just get arashet for that. So that I think
is my threngthanyerra plan. I'm notgoing to do it big like my brother

(08:03):
he had over one hundred people athis I love my family and I think
that would be great, but Ijust don't want to have a really really
really big party, Like I justwant my close, close, close,
close peeps their one because of budget, and two because I already saw like
a lot of my extended family formy brother's thirty thirty last year. I

(08:24):
just kind of wanted to be reallysmall and with my besties for this one.
So I'm really excited about that.So that's what my Threngthana is going
to be. Like, I alreadygot my big Strengthaniera dress, I have
my corona, I have my jewelry. I want this. I'm going to
be shooting my video for my invitations, a video invitation this week, so

(08:46):
I'm really really geeked about that. And yeah, it's okay that I'm not
going to travel anywhere. I loveNew York City and I would love to
do that idea with my brother andmy cousin, but maybe we could do
that probably any weekend my Dirty thirty. I really want the little duck around
my nephew. I want my parentsand mythos there too, and I can't

(09:07):
celebrate with them if I'm here inNew York. So I'm going to make
the move over there, and that'swhat we're gonna be doing for my Dirty
thirty. I am so so soexcited for the invitations that they're going to
be looking splendid, and maybe oneof the places I can try to see
if we can all hook up linkup together in the Bay. Maybe I
can find a venue where, likea y'all were meeting up here for my

(09:30):
Dirty thirty, and if you're inthe Bay and want to pull up,
we can do it. I'm gonnahit up some my promoters, my club,
my club owners. I haven't seenor talked to in a very very
long time. So I will letyou know. Okay, I will let
you know. I have to tellyou what happened when I went to church.
So I'm pretty cool with like thepriests at my church and the altar
people and all that stuff. SoI'm coming into church and I'm saying hi

(09:52):
to everybody, and that I'm sittingdown, and then church is starting.
We're standing up, we're sitting down, we're standing up, we're sitting down,
we're neil, We're praying all thosethings. And then there comes a
part where we are doing the prayersof the faithful, so we're all praying
for stuff together, pray for everyonein conflict of war, pray for the
hungry. And then at the endthere's like a special intention that is the

(10:16):
mast is dedicated for So when JVpassed away, he is my old boss
when I worked in San Francisco. When he passed away, I dedicated the
mesa for him. When my closefriends Dad passed away, mister Mason,
I dedicated the mass to him.And so this time I'm listening to the
prayers of the faithful. At theend of the prayer of the faithful,
he goes and for Patrick Patrick, who passed away this week and who this

(10:41):
mass is in dedication for. Weall pray for Patrick and that his soul
may rest in peace. And inmy head, I'm like, Patrick,
you mean our hospitality group. Patrickthe Patrick that I see every single Sunday
when I'm here and at church.Patrick the Patrick that hangs out Burger King
the Burgh and close to where Ilive. And I've seen him there a

(11:01):
few times, and I like hangout with him sometimes. Patrick Patrick is
born and raised New Yorker. He'sprobably, I want to say, close
to eighties years old. He walksvery slow with a cane. He is
an actor and like an artist, like a creative actor and artist who lives
in an actor building here in likeMidtown area. And he is a really

(11:26):
funny guy like Patrick in our hospitalitygroup. We love you Patrick, but
sometimes we have to cut Patrick offbecause he starts talking and rambling and like
does not make sense. And ifyou leave Patrick talking, Patrick will talk
like me, he will talk NonStopfor thirty minutes. And some of it
like you're trying to follow along withthe story, You're not sure if there's

(11:48):
a point to the story, Likethere are some points where Patrick like does
make sense, and then some partswhere like Patrick, you're losing us.
We love Patrick, And I waslike, oh my gosh, did Patrick
pass away? Mind you? Theother day when I was walking home from
work, I saw Patrick and Iwas just kind of like I had a

(12:09):
long day and I just really wantedto get home and get to the gym.
So I I'm not gonna lie toyou, like I didn't stop and
say hi to Patrick. But Iremember that. I remember when I at
church, when I'm hearing that there'sa potential that Patrick maybe passed away,
I was like, dang, thelast time I saw Patrick, I dodged

(12:31):
him, and did he just ishe done forever? Like did he croak?
Like? Is that it? So? After the prayers? Is the
faithful I'm freaking out. I'm like, oh my gosh. I'm like looking
around, I don't see Patrick.I usually see Patrick on the left wing
in the pews right there. Iknow exactly where he sits. He's not
sitting there. I'm like, ohmy gosh, I think Patrick passed away.

(12:52):
So then here comes a part ofthe Eucharist. We're standing, we're
kneeling, we're sitting, we're kneeling, we're standing in line to eat Jesus.
And as I'm going up, Iyou know, take my bread and
whatever. And I go up andI look at my homie who just did
the Prayer of the Faithful. Iwas like, hey, steps, He's
like, yeah, I was up. I was like, Bro, did

(13:13):
you just say that Patrick died. He's like, oh my gosh, I
did. I said what Patrick? Is it our Patrick? And he looks
at the sheet that he read froma second ago. He goes, I
don't know. There's not a lastname. I don't know. I'm like,
bro, I think I think ourPatrick died. And we're like,
no, not Patrick, not Patrick. So then I go and I pray

(13:35):
the Vida hant seat that every time. After the Chris, I go and
I pray to the Virgin Mary, and I pray for our angels in heaven
that I've passed away. And I'mlike, please, vidn't sate that.
Tell Patrick that I'm sorry, thatI love him and that I can't believe
that he's gone. And I waslike, hell is sad. Like I
was like light way tearing up.And then I go and I'm just sending

(13:56):
in the pew and I'm just likepraying. I'm praying for everybody. And
then like the line is kind ofgetting shorter and shorter in time for the
Eucharist's ending because the people are closeto being done, and I look up
and guess who I see limping upto get his fun Patrick. I see
Patrick, and I swear I sawPatrick there. I was like, oh,

(14:18):
my goodness, sake, the Lordwe get oh, oh, we
don't know how long we're getting Patrickfor because Patrick is up there, but
he doesn't look like he's in terriblehealth. But also we're not really sure
because I don't know what his limpis from, and I don't know what
medications he takes, like you know, Gonavehithos, you just don't know sometimes.
But I was like, oh mygod, you'll see though, thank
you so much for not taking Patrickaway from us. We are not ready.

(14:41):
We are not ready to have Patricktaken from us. So that was
amazing. Let's all do a littleprayer for Patrick and it'll thank you energy
to Patrick that he's still around. So that was the little scare that happened
at MESA. Now let's talk aboutZaddy pulling up to town. So happy
that Zaddie made time for me.He was here for a few nights.

(15:05):
He pulled up on Friday night andwe just cuddled and watched TV and didn't
do anything. And then Saturday,oh my gosh, it was such a
hot mess trying to get my Saturdayshift covered. Now I complained about this
lot that it is just very annoyingthat we have to work weekends. I've
been working weekends since I worked ata restaurant when I was eighteen years old.

(15:28):
Actually, I've been working weekends sinceI was thirteen years old. I
was working weekends working as a basketballref. I was working weekends at the
farmers market cutting up samples. Iwas working weekends when I first started as
a hostess at the restaurant. Iwas working weekends when I first started at
the radio station every Saturday nights, and I'm still working weekends. Like I

(15:52):
would just like a job where Idon't work weekends. We can't all get
what we ask for. Okay, that's just not how the world works.
That the world is not fair. But yeah, if you have weekends off,
you are very blessed. So wework weekends, and lucky for me,
I typically only work every other weekend. This month, it turned out

(16:15):
that I was gonna work the weekendas Zaddie was in town, and it
was just really annoying because he fliesacross the country and even though he's down
to come to work with me,it's just like I don't want to.
I can't even really hang out withhim while I'm working because I'm talking the
whole time. I just would likea weekend off to like sleep in with

(16:37):
my mans and just decide what we'redoing for the whole weekend and not have
to work. So I was kindof like asking any of my coworkers if
we could switch weekends, if wecould do whatever, and my coworkers Shelley
and A Josh were really trying tohelp me out here, but there is
a rule that we can't work acertain amount of days in a row or
else we'll get have to work overtime. And obviously our job is a want

(17:00):
us working overtime. So the waythat I was panning out, like I
could not get my coworkers to coverme without me potentially in the next few
weekends working seven days in a row. So it was just a negative.
It was a no, and I'mkind of annoyed. I'm kind of bummed,
but it is what it is.I mean, there's bigger problems,
boohoo, whatever, Right, Ihave a cool job. So at the

(17:21):
end of the day, I knowthat I have a cool job and it's
not the worst for him to cometo work with me. It's just like,
I just want to spend two daysin a row without having to work
with my boyfriend. Is that toomuch to ask? And again, like
he travels across the entire country tospend time with me, he shouldn't have
to come to work with me.So then Shelley calls me and she's like,
Hey, you don't have to I'llwork for you Saturday morning. And

(17:47):
I know your February is kind ofcrazy, Crystal, because you're gonna be
out of town for a few weekendsfor weddings, so you won't be able
to work for me in February. But as long as one day you tagged
me back on a weekend that youare off, I'm totally fine working for
you that day. And I said, Shelley, listen to me. Listen
to me. The fact that youand Josh and our boss is really trying

(18:10):
to help make it work for mewith these days, this day off for
me, like pick you so somuch. Trust me when I say this
energy will be reciprocated, like don'tworry, like I will get you back,
like I will not leave you straanded. So I'm just so thankful for
them, Like they are really tryingto make it work for me, and
they did not have to. Theycould have been like personal problem. And
I'm telling them, like, Iknow we all have busy lives. I
know we all want to spend timewith our friends and families. So it

(18:33):
just really means a lot that y'allwent out of your way so much to
try to get me this weekend off. So I was so happy that I
got the weekend off. Saturday morning, I was just like, babe,
let's get up, Let's I havethe day off. We have the day
off, we have the whole weekendto do every want. Let's get up
and let's do something. So Iwas like, what could we do?
It's kind of cold, there's Idon't really want to go out and drink

(18:56):
all day. I want to dosomething fun. And you know, I
saw online, Babe, there's thesecatacombs tour, Like you want to do
this tour thing. I've been kindof on my tour hype lately, and
I've talked to you before how mymom, Santhia, she got me onto
tours. When we would go visitdifferent places. She would book these tours
for us, like restaurant food touror a cave tour or something like that.

(19:21):
So I saw online in New YorkCity there's catacombs tours and you know,
I even booked the Gangsters and Ghoststours like in December for Zaddie and
I. So I was like,Babe, let's do this catacombs tour.
You down with this? He's likesure, So I booked this catacombs tour.
At like ten am, we getup, we get all cute,
we get ready, and it's soawesome. It's at Saint Patrick's downtown,

(19:45):
not the Saint Patrick's Cathedral up inMidtown by Saxsmith Avenue. This is actually
the original Catholic cathedral of New YorkCity. So we pull up and it's
a small group of probably eight ofus, and we're with our tour guy.
And it's also a cemetery. Soour tour guide starts the tour off
at the cemetery and we're learning abouthow in New York City no more,

(20:08):
it's no longer allowed nobody can beburied anywhere in New York City. It's
overpopulated, like they are done withburials obviously, the real estate is just
way too expensive. You can docremations in New York City, but if
you want to get buried, ithas to be in the outer boroughs.
Manhattan is no longer doing regular burials, which is very very interesting. But

(20:34):
these tombstones were so old, likeit's giving movie and it was so cool,
and we're learning about the people thatwere buried there had to be very
very rich, had to donate alot of money to Saint Patrick's Cathedral,
the first one downtown before they gotburied there, and sometimes even had so

(20:56):
much money that they had places fortheir families too, so that was awesome.
And then we got to tour theinside, which is gorgeous and we're
learning all the history about that andthat now it's a basilica because a pope
has been there too and has blessedit, so that's awesome. And then
we got to do the catacombs tours. Now the catacombs, if you didn't
know, I actually asked the definitionof a catacomb. I thought I knew

(21:18):
this, and I kind of did. Catacombs are underground burials for Catholics,
usually under churches, so pretty cool. There is like three passageways and tunnels
and you see like the big tombareas and then it's like a big old
arch, and then there was onethat we're able to look inside, which

(21:40):
was crazy, which was insane. This guy was like he was George Washington's
right hand man, and he wasalso really close with who invented the light
bulb, Thomas Edison or like BenjaminFranklin bulb and tour, Yeah, Thomas

(22:00):
Edison. So Thomas Edison's homie isburied in there, and one of the
white fixtures and they're literally used tohave Thomas Edison light bulbs but they took
them out so that they don't burnout. But they're in that flippin' burial
area, the catacomb, and it'sjust like so crazy and it's so cool.
And then we learned a whole bunchof the history about how they got

(22:21):
the money to make the cathedral, and then how they ended up making Midtown
the big or actual cathedral, allthese things, and about how back in
the day that area was just socrime and gang ridden that they have they
have actual brick walls surrounding it becausepeople will try to light it up and
get a cracking in there. Onetime it did get totally burned down and

(22:44):
they had to rebuild that whole bunchof crazy stuff. So I am kind
of a history nerd. I lovegoing on little tours like this, and
you know, me have been gettingreally close to God and my religion lately,
so being able to see even ifyou're not Catholic, like, just
learning about this is so interesting andcool. In the stories and just the
people that really fought for Catholicism tohave its own right and expansion here in

(23:08):
New York City. It was justso so cool to learn about. We
had a Hall of fun. Andthe funny thing about Zaddie and I is
that we are teacher's pets, likewe just want people to like us.
We are people pleasers. So we'relike being very attentive to the tour guide.
We're like trying to lead the pack. We're like asking questions is and
then at the end of the tour, like she's wrapping it all up and

(23:30):
we're like finishing up and asking questionsor we're not. And then we go
up and we say thank you,we gave her a tip, and she
says, I have to say,you guys, your aesthetic is just really
a pleasing to the eye. Youguys just look so good together and your
beage's artist matching, and him andI look at each other. We're just
like thank you very much. Andthen we walk away and we're like not
us getting model of the year, couple models of the year, Like we

(23:52):
are dying. Because before we leftto go on the tour, I was
like, Babe, I want tolook cute. I want to look put
together. Put your peicoat on.I do have to say that I have
definitely elevated Zaddi's look. Sensibly starteddating like his style was very simple.
But I used to make fun ofthese boots that he would wear. I

(24:14):
would call them his Great Depression bootsbecause they literally looked like they were from
the Great Depression. And now myhunt is out here in like Chelsea boots,
and he bought a whole pea coat, a long wool pea coat to
kind of match me. And he'snow wearing turtleneck sweaters. He is looking
cute, and I'm really happy thatwe are elevating are a fascion together,

(24:36):
and it just made us feel verygood that it was recognized by the tour
guide, because again, we arepeople pleasers. We are trying to be
teacher's pets, and we just likewant people to like us. And we
were ragging up and just like cacklingover the fact that we felt so validated
when she told us that, andthe fact that we knew that she had
a good time with us on thetour. I am out bro I'm so

(25:02):
Then after that, we were starved, we were so hungry, and I
remember that our tour guide told usthat the Delmonico's are buried in the catacombs.
We saw the burial area, andthat the Delmonico's actually her name was
Francis Demonico. She for real inventedthe modern day menu that back in that

(25:25):
She's from Switzerland or Sweden and shewas an immigrant, and she was like,
everyone is just serving one thing whenyou go and get food, everyone
deserves one thing. But I wantto bring a variety. So we're gonna
make a restaurant where you are gonnasit down and choose what you get to
eat. Like the restaurant isn't gonnatell you you're gonna eat this and that's

(25:48):
it. No, we're gonna haveoptions and we're gonna make a menu.
So she for real invented the modernday menu. Now, this restaurant is
known to be one of the oldestfine dining restaurans opened back in like eighteen
twenties thirties, which is incredible andiconic. And even when you pull up
to the street alone, you arelike, oh my gosh, this is

(26:11):
everything, Like it kind of givesHarry Potter, and then when you go
inside, you're like, oh mygosh, this is nice. So I
booked as a resi to go toDelmonico's, and I kind of surprised him
and he was so excited. Hewas so geeked. It's an Italian Swiss
restaurant and the food was hella good, like they are famous for their Delmonico
Steak. Boo got the steak,I got the crab cake and like a

(26:33):
little martini and it's a vibe,Yo. Put it on your NYC list
del Monico's. And they even havea bar downstairs, which is really cute
too. So I was so happythat we got to eat there and it
was really fun. And then afterthat we were asking the servers where we
should head two nexts and they toldus to go to the Beakman Hotel because
they have a beautiful bar there andI've seen it before on TikTok. Him

(26:57):
and I pull up. We're ableto get a table for two and to
have drinks and it is so cute. It's such a vibe. Go there
as well, the Beakman. TheBeakman b E c K m an so
cute, such a vibe, funand fresh. And him and I were
just doing some sippy sippies and justtalking and like laughing and just talking about
us. And then afterwards we werewalking around Wall Street because that's kind of

(27:18):
where it is down in five eyearea. Wall Street vibes really close to
the bull. So then we findthis really beautiful church with incredible stained glass,
and I'm like, babe, let'sgo check it out. We're kind
of going on a church tour today. So we go to that church and
I was just like, I seethe Jesus statue, I see those saints

(27:41):
up there, but I just don'tfeel like this is a Catholic church,
Like I don't see the stations ofthe Cross on either side. So I
go and I ask one of theushers. I'm like, Hi, what
kind of church is this? Hegoes, Oh, this is a Protestant
church. I'm like, wow,Oh, I've never been inside of a
Protestant church before. And you know, Protestants are a sector of Christianity really
similar, just different tactical beliefs ortraditions or whatever. But him and I

(28:03):
just decided to wander around and gointo different churches and see what they look
like in the vibes, and itwas so cool to see the different architecture,
see the different statues. I've saidbefore, Zaddy is Christians, so
they don't really have churches. Theyhave like service areas and it's very simple.
They have just a stage and they'llhave like lights in a band,

(28:25):
but they don't have statues and thisand that like other sectors of Catholicism,
Christianity, Protestants, Epistocles, whateverdo. So it was cool for him
to see too. I mean,he loves seeing the stained glass and the
different statues, and I'm just tryingto explain to him the different traditions and
how it's different from what he grewup going to church for. So it

(28:48):
was really fun. We just hada day out on the town and we're
bobbing around and then we ended ourday close to eight nine pm at our
favorite bar in New York City.Okay, there are a few mine I've
talked to you about. Madame George's. That's my favorite, speak easy.
My favorite like restaurant slash bar isLily's in Midtown. But our favorite place

(29:11):
to sit down to get a viewand get drinks is Peak at the top
close to the edge in Hudson Yards. They just have the best drinks.
Like, if we're trying to getdrinks, we are going to Peak.
So we go up there and wehave our little honey besknees drink and we're
just like chat and chit chat, chit chat, chit chat, talking,
talking, laugh and laughing. Andafterwards I had some coworkers that were doing

(29:36):
a birthday shin dig in Jersey City. Now means that he have ever partied
in Jersey City before. I've partiedone time in a Hoboken It's very college
fratboy vibes. I do not likeit. I would not go back to
Hoboken. But I've never partied inJersey City. And my coworkers were having
their birthday event there, their DJ, probably table, probably free drinks.

(30:02):
I wanted to go to show supportand just kind of like vibe with them
and get free drinks. And Zaddywas like, what's the move tonight?
Tomorrow night is Sunday night football,so tomorrow night's gonna be my night.
But Crystal, we can do whateveryou want tonight, Babe. I was
like, would you hate if wewent to Jersey City. He's like,
kind of, but if you wantto go, we can do whatever you

(30:22):
want. I'm like, listen,if my homies Jason Jewels are down to
go with us, we can squadup and go and we're going out.
He's all right, let's see whatthey say. So within ten minutes,
Jason Jewels are like, let's linkup tonight. I'm like perfect. So
we get to my house around andour girl Jewels is down to the lobby,
so we bring her up and thenJace is honestly back he said from
a comedy club. We're like,Jase, do you have alcohol? He's

(30:45):
like, yeah, go to myfreezer. So we go to this freezer.
He has an entire bottle of GasaEagles. Grab that. I have
some Talkhouse and Core in my fridge, so now we have Seltzer's. We
have Gasa Eagles. And when Iwent to the grocery store a few days
ago, I bought a lemon incase I was going to have people over.
I don't know why. For somereason, I knew I was going
to turn up at least one nightwhen Zaddy was in town and do a

(31:07):
little pregame sash. So I'm reallyhappy abo I bought a little le mon.
And then also we stole some LaCroixs and Red Bulls from Jason's fridge.
So we get to my house andwe're just kind of like the waiting
around a little bit for Jace toget there, and he's like I'm coming
with two friends. So then Jacepulls up with two of his homies and
now it's me, Jace, Jewles, his homies, Zaddy, six of

(31:30):
us in my apartment. Me andZaddy look at each other, We're like,
we need to play music. Westart like trying to fix the house
because we have company over. We'relike, what are we gonna play?
What are we gonna play? Like? We are just like trying to be
the best hosts, Like we arefilling the pressure. Now he's like,
cume the lemons. I'm like tryingto get the ice out of the freezer.
We're like, oh my gosh,we have to make sure the Biden
is good. We have people hereand we are kind of just like giggling

(31:51):
about it. But I mean they'resuper easy and we're just sharing talk houses
and taking back shots and we're watchingthis. This is a good idea for
you. Okay, why don't youput on Super Bowl halftime performances on YouTube?
That was my go to. Youknow, Zaddy didn't believe in me.
He thought it was kind of weird, but it kind of gets the

(32:13):
party going. And there are somany that they just keep playing in a
row in a row in a row, and honestly, it was a vibe
and it's a good conversation starter aswe're all talking and kind of watching.
So I'm having like a mini kickbackon a Saturday night at my apartment with
my boyfriend. He's never met Jasonbefore, and I need to give you
a little background about Jason. I'vetalked about my neighbor Jase, and him

(32:35):
and I have been friends since Iliterally since I moved here, so the
past three years. He had agirlfriend when I met him, so I
was hanging out more so with hisroommate, and then his roommate got a
girlfriend and Jason his girlfriend broke up, so me and Jay started hanging out
a lot together. We are reallygood friends. We turn up together.
He takes me to a lot ofhis Cornell frat parties. I'd bring him

(32:58):
along to any of my work eventsthat I have. He's just very easy,
go with the flow. Now,the issue was that last time Zaddy
was here, we were supposed tohang out with Jace. We were trying
to coordinate. I facetimed Jace andJace answers with out a shirt on,
and Zaddy did not appreciate that.As soon as I hung up, Zaddy's

(33:20):
like, so, your homeboy doesn'thave a shirt, And I'm like,
I don't know, babe, Ithink he just finished working out or just
go home to take a shower out. No, He's like, I mean,
I don't think that you would appreciateit if I facetimed a girl that
you've never met before that was oneof my friends and she was wearing a
bra. I'm like, Babe, ten out of ten, I do see

(33:42):
where you're coming from, and Ido understand that, Like I'm sorry,
like you know it. It's noton purpose, and I'm sorry that that
made you uncomfortable. And I'll tellhim something next time if he's not wearing
a shirt. And so him andJace have no they have not met even
before or after that shirt shirtless FaceTimesituation. I hung out with Jace a

(34:06):
few weekends ago and we talked aboutit and we were laughing about it,
and he's just he's a dude whohad sometimes like that's just something that wouldn't
matter to him. And honestly, even me, like sometimes I've borged into
his house for something and he justlike doesn't He never was a shirt in
his house. It's just something thatJace doesn't do. So there was that

(34:28):
little tension there, and I wasa little weary on how it was gonna
be. I was happy that mygirl Jules was there to kind of like
break up any weirdness, and I'mhappy that Jace brought his friends. But
within the first five ten minutes ofJace and Zaddy hanging out meeting, they
were cool, like totally fine,no non threatening at all. I think

(34:49):
that Zaddy saw like Jace's mannerisms andhow he is and could see how Jace
would just do something like that andit's not a big deal to him.
So we're all taken shots and weare drinking, and we are going off.
We are dancing to the halftime performances. We're having a really good time,
and the clock is ticking. It'sbecoming ten o'clock, it's becoming eleven

(35:12):
o'clock, and they're like, what'sthe move. Are we going somewhere?
Are we staying here? We're kindof cozy inside and Jewles kind of wants
to go out somewhere. She's suggestingplaces like the floor room. The problem
and I've mentioned it before, goingout in New York City. If there
are boys, it's an issue. If you are going out in a group
and boys are involved, it's anissue because these places are going to charge

(35:35):
the boys a lot of money.Jules has a promoter friend that was at
the Floor Room, which is kindof like a club, and I we're
kind of out of that club lifefive, but it is a place to
go dance. I suppose I've neverbeen there. I've seen it all over
social media. It's just literally anothersmall club in New York City. But
one hundred percent wasn't really feeling that. We had church the next day in

(35:55):
the morning, so I was justkind of like, no, Jersey City
was completely out, Like no,but he wanted to go to Jersey City,
and even when I suggested I wouldpay for the ride shairs, they
were like, I'm not going toJersey City, So that was out.
Unfortunately, people that live in Manhattandon't go to Jersey to party. It
just really does not make any typeof sense at all. So again,

(36:15):
I was just trying to go formy coworkers to support them. I knew
it was a stretch. So asthe night's going on, we're kind of
like, what's going on? Shecalls a promoter and he's She's like,
I have two boys with me.He's like, they can buy tickets.
We go on line and see ticketsand they're eighty five dollars each. It's
like, Zaddy's not going to buyeighty five dollars to go to a club.
Like Zaddy does not go to clubs, Like he just does not like

(36:35):
clubs. I could totally get it, Jace. His girlfriend isn't in town,
Like he doesn't want to go toa club without his girlfriend with his
boys, and like some girlfriends, like it's just they don't want to.
No man wants to spend that kindof money, just because especially if we're
already vibing inside, and also we'regetting more and more tipsy, and we're
just having more and more funds. So we're just kind of parting amongst ourselves.

(37:00):
Freaking twelve am is rolling around, one am is rolling around, and
we're still taking shots, we're stilltalking, we're still having a good time.
Honestly, we're vibing. I'm havinga great time. I start passing
out snacks, the cheese. It'swe're the biggest hit of the night.
I'm really happy about that. Ibrought out some homemade granola bars. Nobody
really wanted some of those, butnot like we were able to chill and

(37:21):
have a good time and just bein. Around one thirty in the morning,
Jules feels like she is overserved,so she took a ride shirt home.
She was like, I'm too drunkfor this, Like I need to
go home. And then it wasjust me, Zaddi, Jace and his
two good friends. So now we'reall just talking and the boys have some
existential conversations that are happening in theirlives with their girlfriends, and one of

(37:45):
them is even married, so we'reall talking about those things. That's the
kind of the vibe that we're in, Like we're around that age now,
we're late twenties, early thirties,so they're kind of asking Zaddi for advice.
We're all just kind of talking aboutone guy is he going to move
in with his girlfriend? One guyis married when you know another one like

(38:05):
him and his girlfriend don't even talkabout that yet. And then we have
me and Zaddi that live on theopposite sides of the country, so we're
we're really going in about all thosethings. And it was really a fun
time. I had an amazing timewith my boyfriend. I'm so happy that
him and Jace met and by theend of the night they really liked each
other and they're totally cool. I'mreally happy that they linked. And Jace's

(38:29):
friends that he brings around are alwaysamazing. One of them was a lawyer,
so we're asking hell of lawyer questionsall these things. It was.
It was a really good time.So that was Saturday night for not going
out. We did go hard andwe were drinking water the whole time.
So I woke up Sunday and noteven hungover. We go to Misa,
which is great. We go hangout with my hospitality crew, same old,

(38:50):
nothing crazy. After that, wego to our one of our favorite
restaurants, Italian restaurants called Rosemary's,so good. Anything on the money was
amazing there. And then after Rosemary's, I'm kind of tired, Like I'm
I'm kind of tired, so I'mjust like, I went to go home
and nap and watch TV. Sowe do, and then it's getting late
around six point thirty the Niner gamethe NFL Championship NFC National Championship Conference for

(39:17):
the Niners and the Lions. Nowyou know, my man's is a huge
Niners fan. We were at theNFC Championship game last year in Philly,
which was amazing, and it wasthe first time that he came to visit
me in New York City. Theepisode is called Zaddi pulled the f Up.
That was a crazy Oh my gosh, that was wild. That was

(39:37):
wild because right before that we kindof got into a little riff in our
dating timeline. And then he pulledup literally that next day because I got
his tickets to go see the Ninersand the Eagles in Philadelphia, and now
we got to watch the game again, the NFC Championship together. But we
were like, I kind of wantedto take him to this Niners bar,

(39:57):
but I was kind of tired andjust want to stay in. I was
like, they do care if wejust like stay in and watch the game
at the house. He said, absolutely not, I do not care.
Let's just order food and watch thegame here. So we're watching the game
and he's a very very passionate sportsfan. So the first half of the
game was not good. I mean, the Niners were down by a lot

(40:20):
of points and Zaddy was not havingit. He turned the game off.
I started giving him a back massagebecause he was just so stressed and angry.
He was so angry that he actuallypulled out the Bible and started reading
the Bible so that he could calmdown, because he really was having high

(40:42):
hopes that the Niners were going tomake it to the super Bowl, but
just by that halftime, it wasnot looking good. So at this point
he's reading the Bible. I'm givinghim a back massage. Another quarter goes
down and he's like, okay, let's just see what's going on at the
game. So he turns on thegame and the Niners up. The Niners
are up now and it's looking likethey could actually win and go to the

(41:05):
super Bowl. And Daddy's like, you see what I literally just opened the
Bible. You see what God's doingfor us. You see what God's doing
for us, And oh my gosh. He was so happy when the Niners
won. He was screaming everywhere, but he also was rational. He's like,
Okay, we're the super Bowl, but I'm not going to be super
happy until we win. Like ifwe go to super Bowl and don't win,
what's going to go on here? And He's just trying to be realistic

(41:27):
about it because it's the Chiefs again, it's Taylor Swift's team. There's a
lot going on. He's we're allkind of in the same boat that the
Niners are not going to win thesuper Bowl yet again. But it was
a good game. He was reallyhappy about it. And then we started
a new series on Netflix. Griselda'sSofia Erga out here doing her things.

(41:51):
She is a bouse, She's abous. She has that new Netflix show
out about Grisel la Blanco, likethe biggest, the god mother of the
narcos, pretty much the biggest cocainedrug lord Colombian of all time. So
we started watching that together. Sogood, so good, ten out of
ten. I love her. Idon't like drug shows. I've never watched

(42:13):
an articles, I don't watch anystuff like that. I don't like violence.
But seeing a woman be in chargeof that thing and how she's finessing
and fenogling, I love it.So we started watching that and then Monday,
we're trying to figure out what we'regonna eat after work, and my
man has never been to Red Lobster. He's never been taken to Red Lobster

(42:34):
would take he has never been toRed Lobster. Now. Growing up,
when it was my Awalita Mami Tweet'sbirthday on my dad's side. Every year
for her birthday until she passed away, I was like ten nine, ten
eleven years old, we would takeher to Red Lobster. My dad,

(42:58):
my mom, my brother Junior,me would go to Red Lobster with Mammy
cho eat papy berna and that wasour yearly tradition. So I grew up
going to Red Lobster. And soI was like, boo, I'm taking
you Red Lobster. I am takingyou to Red Lobster. What I'm not
about is that it was a redlobster at Times Square in New York City

(43:20):
on forty first Street and eighth Avenue. Yes, Surre seventh Avenue, Yes,
Suri. You've seen the red lobsterbefore if you walked around Midtown.
But it was what it was.I mean, I've been telling him for
so long I need to take himto Red Lobster. And we didn't really
we couldn't really come with options. And as soon as I was like,
hey, let me take you toRed Lobster, He's like, you know
what, Yeah, we don't alwayshave to eat five star. I was
like, Babe, First of all, red Lobster ain't no Red Robin.

(43:45):
Red lobster is not a sizzler.Red Lobster is the five star of the
chains, all right, it is. I wouldn't say it's the No Bou
of the chains because I would considerBenny Hanna the No bo of the chains.
But it is up there, andit's not cheap. Red Lobster is
not cheap. But I love youand you've been deserved to be to take

(44:07):
into Red Lobster. So I'm takingyou to Red Lobster. So we pull
up and he's a little flustered. He didn't have the best time at work,
like something happened with work. Sohe's kind of on one, not
like angry at me, but hejust needs to release a little bit.
He's like, I need a drink. I need a margarita. We get
a patrol Ango margarita for him.I get a little mixed berry Sunglely.

(44:29):
Yeah, for me, you arered lobster drinks, let's not forget very
syrupy. But I tell him,I'm like, Babe, the cheddar butter
biscuits are about to change your life, like you have never had a biscuit
like this, And he puts abiscuit in his mouth and he is like

(44:52):
a skeptic, like whatever, Itell him something so good or we have
to go here. He's always thefirst to kind of be very critical of
it and try to point out likethe flaws, right, he likes to
challenge me. But he puts thatbutter biscuit in between his teeth and he's
just like wow, like the crunchiness, the butteriness, the flavor. He

(45:20):
eats a hold egg basket. Heeats the entire basket. I have to
get a basket just for me too, and just that alone, like he
is geeked about it. So thenwe're deciding what to order. I they're
having like a lobster festival, youknow, they always have their promotions.
So like I'm getting like the baconlobster with the shrimp thing, and then

(45:40):
I also need my side of snowcrab legs, like that is just what
I need. And that's pretty muchall I get. And this orders just
two lobster tails, like just justthe bare lobster tails. And I don't
want to say nothing because it's himordering, and we do. We do
get in a little riffs sometimes whenhe orders and I try to overshadow his

(46:02):
order, like I tried to ChristopherColumbus his order as you. I'm like,
no, baby, don't get that. Get this. And so this
is his first time I read lobster, so I was like, I'm just
gonna let him do his thing. But I would never suggest anyone getting just
two regular mean lobsters lobster tails.I red lobster. So he gets that,
and then he's like mac and cheeseand Brussels sprouts on the side,

(46:23):
and mine come out and mine justlook bomb. Oh my god, my
look incredible. Like my order isjust a feast, right, And he
takes a bite up of his tail, and I could just see he's like
trying to like it for my sake, but he and I'm just like,
babe, are you good? Andhe's like, I don't know about this,

(46:44):
queen, like take a bite, and I'm just like, babe,
I would not take a bite ofthat. He's like, what do you
mean. I was like, thatlooks like a brain. And I didn't
want to override your order because I'vedone that before and you've gotten triggered,
But honey, I would not haveled to order that. He's like,
why did you say something. Iwas like, because I wanted you to
just like do your thing. Butbaby, you don't order regular lobster tails

(47:07):
at Red Lobster, like you orderthe crazy bacon one or like the shrim
scampy lotter, like if you ordersomething like, you don't order just regular
lobster tails. He's like, youbrought me to Red Lobster. I thought
the lobster tails were like the specialty. I'm like, yeah, but it's
the what comes with it, likethe festivity of the lobster tail, not
just the regular lobster tails, babe. So he did not like it.

(47:31):
He said he would not go back. He did not enjoy his time.
But I loved it. I lovedmy order and I did give him a
bite of mines. He agreed itwas so good. He was just a
little booty tickle that I was.I didn't do the all you open save
him with his you guys like,we didn't even take it home, like

(47:51):
we He left a whole lobster tailthere and I was thinking. He was
like, should we give this tosomeone? I was like, no,
we shouldn't really give homeless people seafood, Like I don't think that that's I
don't think they would one want thatin the cold, and too, I
don't think that's Santarry. And Iwas like, and I don't even want
to take a home from my doorpeople. I don't even want to do
that to them, like absolutely not, Like they don't even deserve that,
Like that's just for reference, Likeyou don't get just a regular a regular

(48:15):
sh regular lobster tail at Red Lobster, but everything else. Ten at ten
we were trying to like figure outwhat that would be the equivalent to,
and I was like, Babe, that's the equivalent of going to Wingstop and
just getting normal wings without any sauce. Like, no, the reason that

(48:36):
you would to wingstop is because ofthe sauce on top of course the wings
are cool. But you're never gonnago to wings stop and just order a
regular wing. That's what That's whatthe equivalent was for me. So poor
thing. Yeah, he had atough time. He also had a tough
time and went to Benny Hannas becauseagain, like I grew up doing Benny
Hannes for birthdays and graduations, I'mvery, very lucky, and he pulled
that out Benni Hannah too, likehe got like a weird chicken thing,

(49:00):
and I'm just like, baby, you're supposed to get the whole the whole
entree, like you're just you're notdoing that right. And that's what That's
what gave me PTSD of when Itried to correct him there and he got
a little snappy, and so Iwas just like, okay, I'm not
going to correct him anymore. Andnow we did have a conversation. It's
because he trigger orders, that's thething. It's like I already know I

(49:20):
when I say a menu within thefirst four seconds, I skim and I
know I already know what it ishim like he is, it's so hard
for him sometimes to make decisions likethat, and so he'll just be like
oh this, and I'm like, babe, why, Like okay, And
so we had a conversation that he'snot going to trigger order anymore so that
I can help intercept anything that Ithink would just not be a good idea.

(49:45):
It's because when I said, asI saw him say two regular lobster
tales, I was like, yo, do that. But that's one of
my business, but going forward,it will be my business. Anyways,
that was interesting. That was amazingfor me. I loved it. I
got ex food to go, likeI had some leftovers and it was great.
And then poor thing. Today inthe morning, he was we okay,

(50:07):
he we got up, we wereable to sleep in. I didn't
have an interview until like twelve thirtytoday, so then we were just vibing,
sleeping in, chit chatting, pillowtalking. And he's like, I'm
so happy that my flight's out ofEWR. If I had to go all
the way to JFK, oh mygosh, you'd be taken an hour and
this, this and that. We'regetting ready to go and he's like,

(50:30):
no, babe, my flight isout of JFK. Like I'm not gonna
make this. I'm not gonna makethis. I was like, don't just
sick, stay another day. He'slike, no, I can't. Like
I'm a dad, I have togo be a dad. And I'm just
like, you're right, like thatis literally your job, So dang,
good luck, babe. I hopeyou make a flight. So I go
to work. He is a rushingto the airport and looking for him.

(50:54):
The flight was delayed by twenty minutes. He ran on when they were literally
calling his name to that they weregoing to close the doors. So he
made it. Daddy Duty's on theway, super Dad right there. Oh
yeah. So we had a reallygood time hanging out, and I'm just
so happy and lucky that he makestime and comes all the way to see

(51:15):
me. I know it's a hugesacrifice on his end. I'm really thankful
that he's making it work for me. I know it's not what he would
prefer, but thinking about it,like, we do have so much fun
when we're here, and it's alot of stuff that we can't do back
home. Like back home, youhave to drive everywhere, and it's just
like not popping as it is outhere no matter what you say. Like
here you can just walk two blocksand you're finding something new. And I

(51:37):
love the energy out here. SoI'm very happy that I have this energy
for a whole other year. HopefullyI can keep him in a positive light
about this long distance relationship because itstill is really hard. Like anything that
I'm doing outside of work, Iwould just rather him be here because it's

(51:58):
just so much fun, Like anythingthat I'm doing he makes it ten times
more fun no matter what it is, even if we're just sitting down.
Sometimes we're just like sitting down,We're not even talking or nothing, like
it's fun. We'll be on thecouch. I'm like, baby, do
you want to scroll through TikTok withme? We are literally leeches. We
are watching the same TikTok timeline onmy phone and it's we have so much

(52:19):
fun. I wish I could spendmore time with him, like not maybe,
but that is the goal to manifest. One day we will somehow live
on the same coast. So thatis what's going on. That was my
little rounze voo, my little staycationwith my mansies. Again, my coworkers
are just the best for trying tohelp me out and get my weekend off,
and I'm really happy that we tookfull advantage of it. Oh my

(52:42):
gosh, I almost forgot to tellyou about my boob job. So I
just had a second ago me andZaddy be scrolling through TikTok. I've been
really on my TikTok life the pastfew weeks, like I probably feel like
an hour to a day will deadscroll and these TikTok ads have a choke
hold on me TikTok. I mightas well, like have an entire fund

(53:06):
it just for advertisements on TikTok thatI'm going to buy. I've BoNT so
many things on TikTok. I boughtthe stupid Alex earl light and it works,
and I do like it. It'sit's just a kind of really big.
Now they haven't even smaller TikTok light. I haven't bought that one yet,
but yeah, the TikTok light Alexearl, it does work a lot,
And especially because I was running aroundjingle balls and doing all these things,
it just adds a little pizazz. And I put it on like even

(53:29):
if I'm doing a brand deal athome, like I'll put it on just
my phone. I don't need mybig old circle ring light anymore. Like
I can just use that TikTok light. It is it is worth it bought
that I bought. Have you evergone those ads where like like these like
grown sexy men from Africa are likesinging and dancing happy birthdays, or like
I love use to somebody that youlove. I bought one of those.

(53:52):
I bought one of those as abirthday gift. Okay, I did what
else did I buy from TikTok?I have just bought Oh my gosh.
Okay, so there's this ad oh. I bought the thong. I bought
the thong that has like charms onit that you can put like your man's
name on it. I bought thatfor him for Valentine's Day. I need
to stop. I bought like outfits. I'm just I'm over it. But

(54:14):
one thing that I bought, okay, there's there's these like brad inserts.
Because one thing about my boobs isI hate that they're kind of like spread
apart, Like I wish that theywere a little closer together so I could
have some cleavage. Like I haveto get like sticky bras to make it
look like I have cleavage, likeaccording to Victoria Seekert. And when I
got my boobs measured at Norstrum, yes, I have double d's. I

(54:35):
don't understand either, but I thinkthey're just trying to make us feel good.
I have double d's, but Idon't really have cleavage. So I
saw these like broad insert things thatlike make you have cleavage, and that's
all I really want. So soI decided to wear them for the first

(54:57):
time on Saturday when we did theCatacombs tour. Wher did the Catacombs tour.
But the thing is I was wearinga scarf on on top of it,
so like he was like, firstof all, as soon as he
saw me with my like low cutshirt and my like new boob insert things,
he was speech She's like whoa,Like what is going on? Like

(55:20):
you are looking hot? And I'mlike, thank you, babe, Like
I got a new like pushup brosituation. I was like, do you
like it? He's like I amuhbs ses And he's like I love it.
I love it. I love it, And you're not allowed to wear
that with like around anyone else.I'm like, I would not wear it
around anyone else, Like I'm notplanning to wear it around anyone else,
Like I just want to wear thesearound you. He's like, I love

(55:43):
it. Also, you cannot wearthat to church if we were a Catacomb's
tour. I was like, Iknow I have this scarf, We're gonna
be fine. So I had iton for the day. And girl,
when I tell you, like, these make your chee cheese just look so
good. They even work with swimsuits. They even work with swimsuits, like
I put a bikini on and Iput the little booth things like stuck them

(56:05):
to the bikini and it totally worked. And Zaddy loved, loved, loved
my new little my new little booththings for my cleavage. So happy that
he loved it. Yeah, I'mnot I would not wear it to work
like that's inappropriate and not just forme, Like I love girls big boobs.

(56:27):
I want to be you so bad, like I always try boobs shove
together like that, and I haveno problem with girls around me like that,
But the thing is just like forme, like my coworkers are not
used to that, And if Ijust came in with a low cut shirt
and like all of a sudden,I'm cleavage, that would be weird.
And I also don't really want attentionlike that from my coworkers or from like
people that I don't know, orjust in public. But if Zad he's

(56:50):
around, shoot, let him seewhy not, Like this is like that
He's the only one I really wantto impress and get a little excited.
So they totally work. And thefunny thing is that they work really really
well, like they can work withany bra and like I said, even
a swimsuit. So I kind ofwant to pull a prank on my family

(57:10):
that I got a boob job.So this is what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna get one of those surgicalhairnets, like the blue ones from WHENNA
Get surgery from online, and I'mgonna get like a white towel around and
I'm gonna like strip my bed tomake my bed look like a hospital bed,
and I'm gonna like take a pictureright like, I'm gonna take a

(57:34):
picture like I had just gone andI have a finger thermometer, so I'm
gonna like attach like a wire tothe finger thermometer to make it look like
it's like a one, like aheartbeat one, you know what I'm saying.
And I'm gonna go I'm gonna takea picture like that, and when
I see my family next weekend,I'm gonna pull up with a low cut
shirt with the boob things, andmy mom all like she's gonna be like,

(57:59):
what the heck is going on?What's going on? And I'm gonna
tell my whole family that I gota boob job, and I'm gonna send
the photo like of me, likewith the surgery to the group chat,
the family group chat, so theyall think that I got a boom drop.
My mom is gonna be so mad. Oh my god, she's gonna
be so mad. You know, you know something should be like know me,

(58:20):
how dare you could you? Areyou putting that in your body?
No? No, your find theway you are, like I can't believe,
Like who do you need to boomup for? Who do you need
a boob job for? And thisis just gonna be such an epic prank,
Like I cannot wait, Like Icannot wait, I cannot wait.
So stay tuned for that. That'sgonna be iconic. I cannot wait to
pull up with my little like boobinsert things and prank the heck out of
them. So I can't wait tosee what Amad says may Amalita, she

(58:44):
is gonna be shook. To mydad, he's gonna love it. He's
gonna be like so on boarding. My dad always is just like whatever you
want me hh, Like if youmy dad, I am like my dad.
If he was a woman, Likewhen I was doing the podcast and
going on a different day every week, people would be like, oh,
like that's kind of you know, your daughter's going on dates and he's like,

(59:04):
shoot, if I was or i'dbe doing that too. I'd be
doing that too. When I waslike twelve years old, my dad took
me to get my Carlage piers.Like my dad would let me get like
henna tattoos. My dad would takeme to get hair wraps. Because my
mom was always like super opposed toall those things. Like my dad was
hella cool. He would let meput posters all over my room. My
mom would get mad and tell meto try to rip him down. Like
my dad he's with it like heis with it, like he loves what

(59:28):
I do for work, and he'sall about the glam and he he would
be like, dang me, yeah, though there's a double DS. What
the heck? Oh my god, like whatever you want me to high.
My dad is the one who's justlike, if you're happy, I'm happy,
Like I want my daughter to behappy. And if he would be
like dang, but my mom shewould be peased, she would be furious.
So I'm really excited. It's gonnabe really good. Prank. Don't

(59:51):
tell her, do not tell her. So yeah, that's the situation.
I, as you know, amnow hosting the New hit List on my
Heart. I am on over eightyradio stations across the country, mostly on
like the mid to East Coast, every night from eleven to midnight, giving

a lot too, So make sureyou hang out with me on the New

(01:00:58):
hit List, on your free radioapp or on your nearest top forty station.
Obviously, I'm live here in NewYork City Monday, to Friday two
to six pm on Z one hundred. Thank you so much for hanging out
with another episode of Crystal's Nightcap.Let's get into or Zaily a motivator of
the day. We do this toclose out our show. I'm giving you
a daily motivation. This one iscalled live intentionally. Refuse to be pigeonholed

(01:01:22):
into a pre defined space. Livewith authentic purpose. With intention, There's
no value to be giving or receivedby being the fifty millionth person to repeat
what was never really compelling in thefirst place. Go your own way,
live your unique purpose with intention. What's mass produced can be useful and easily

(01:01:44):
accessible, but won't ever be fulfilling. Mimicking the choices of others will never
equal the satisfaction of following through onyour intentions. You deserve more than what's
just handed to you. You cando better than the default choices that are
made for you by others. Ooh, you can do better than the default
choices that are made for you byothers. Do the work to discover and

(01:02:05):
understand what matters most to you, what you can do with it, and
what you can do about it all. Feel the power and whatever you love
and care about and transform that powerinto intentional, effective action. Celebrate as
you and your world reap the benefitsof your intention, and be inspired to
continue living intentionally. Wow, youcan do better than the default choices that

(01:02:29):
are made for you by others. You deserve more than what's just handed to
you. Wow. What do youthink about that? That's kind of true.
I've talked about it before and Ithink about it a lot too.

(01:02:50):
That the way that our world isjust started with someone's idea in their brain.
And if like you think something's wrong, or if you think something can
be better, or you think thatyou're the person that can do better for
a situation or even for yourself, like that reality is actually what you can
make your real reality because you thoughtof that, and you can ask around

(01:03:13):
and see who's willing to help youmake that happen. I don't know what
that would mean for you, butit really just starts with asking the question
and thinking of what you really want. I talked in the last episode about
how this year is a very shiftingyear for me, of a lot of
changes maybe or maybe not to comebecause I'm like juggling if I want to

(01:03:36):
stay in New York for a fewmore years, or if I want to
go back home to California and starta life over there again. So you
deserve more than what's just handed toyou. You can do better than the
default choices that are made for you. Do the work to discover and understand
what matters most to you, whatyou can do with it, and what
you can do about it. I'mgoing to save this because I need to

(01:03:57):
sit with myself a little more andlike really dig in. I hope that
helped you for whatever you were doing. I hope you like that little Daily
Motivator. Refuse to be pigeonholed intoa predefined space. Live with an authentic
purpose with intention. Wow. Allright, let's reflect on that and let's
see how we can implement that inour lives, whatever capacity that is for

(01:04:18):
you. I hope you enjoyed theDaily Motivator, and I hope you enjoyed
hanging out together this hour. I'mgoing to get into the daily prayer for
us. If you're not someone thatis really vibing with that right now,
or you don't really want to getinto praying, that is totally cool.
Thank you so much for hanging outwith us for another episode. Of a
Crystal's night cap. Please share thepot of your friends if you're really liking

(01:04:40):
it. I'm live in a NewYork City Monday through Friday two to six
pm. I'm on tons of stationswith the new hit list, and on
the weekends. Make sure you checkmy socials to see which ones on everything.
I'm at lack carrystal uttle sas.Let's do our daily prayer now.
Oh my gosh, I just flipedto the calendar. It's already January thirty
first. We're already a twelfth donewith twenty twenty four. I feel like
I've done nothing. I don't evenlike know what my plan is for the

(01:05:02):
year. I don't know what likemidn't even do it in New Year's resolution.
I'm just trying to like breathe. No, I'm just kidding, all
right. January thirty first. It'scalled I Am your Strength and Shield.
I plan out each day and haveit ready for you long before you arise
from bed. I also provide thestrength you need each step of the way.

(01:05:25):
Instead of assessing your energy level andwondering about what's on the road ahead,
concentrate on staying in touch with me. My power flows freely into you
through our open communication. Refuse towaste energy worrying, and you will have
the strength to spare. Whenever youstart to feel afraid, remember that I
am your shield, but unlike inanimatearmor, I'm always alert and active.

(01:05:48):
My presence watches over you, continually, protecting you from both known and unknown
dangers. And trust yourself to mywatch care, which is the best security
system available. I am with youand will watch over you wherever you go.
So I'm twenty eight seven Matthew sixthirty four Psalm fifty six three through

(01:06:09):
four in Genesis twenty eight fifteen.Instead of assessing your energy level and wondering
about what's on the road ahead, concentrate on staying in touch with me.
I'm your shield. Refuse to wasteenergy worrying, and you will have strength

(01:06:29):
to spare. That's true. That'strue. I'm really happy that I've worked
on that with myself. And that'swhy I tell you that I really like
this this prayer book it's called JesusCalling by Sarah Young, and every single
day it has a somewhat lengthy prayerlike this that it's just kind of reiterating
the same things about not worrying, don't have anxiety. I already have your

(01:06:54):
path for you, and just staypresent with me like I love you and
I will protect you, and justgiving you like that extra strength when you
feel like, oh my gosh,I can't do this, you're like,
oh my gosh, Like what amI going to do about this? Instead
of worrying, this book tells usthat through God we have strength and they

(01:07:16):
will be our strength and we willbe protected no matter what. That there
is a journey in a path.I like that one. How do you
feeling about that? I know alot of us like every day that's like
the number one thing is like stressand anxiety, and the only way to
really combat that is to stay present, which was something that was so hard
for me for a very very longtime. And I'm really happy that I

(01:07:39):
was able to get through that andwork. I'm still working on that every
day. So there's a lot ofthings we can do. I share about
it all the time. Eating well, eating healthy is one way, just
trying to as much as you canstay away from junk food. It's even
really hard for me, but doingthat. Exercising helps you because it gives
you endorphins dopamine and gives you timewith yourself to kind of get any stress

(01:08:03):
on words that you have away fromyou. Also, meditating and yoga is
something that helps me as well, kind of like stretching my body makes me
feel relaxed and just not worrying orthinking about anything. Watching pointless YouTube podcasts
or just scrolling through TikTok gets mymind off of things sometimes. So I
hope that those helped that helped youat the Daily Motivator and the Daily Prayer.

(01:08:29):
Thank you so much again for hangingout with me this hour. I
love love, love love love foryou, and I will see you on
the next one.
