itself appears to have longer legs. ABC's announced they've renewed
The Golden Bachelor for a second time around have already
knighted their next star. Sixty six year old Mel Owen
two found success on the football field and in the
courtroom as an NFL player before transitioning into law. He's
a devorce with two sons who's based out of Orange County, California,

It's no surprise ABC was eager to green light the
second season, as the first was a ratings darling. There's
no official premier date yet, but if it follows past
scheduling trends for the Bachelor franchise, look for The Golden
Bachelor on ABC this fall.
