Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, what have we got in some entertainment. It's been
a hectic morning, guys.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I feel like we got to hop in. It's Justin
Bieber stuff.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
It's pretty wild.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
So remember how I told you the drama with him
leaving the clothing company Drew House. Right, it was his
ex manager Scooter Braun and Ryan Good and the other
person that was like on the board with them was
kind of like a suspect in a murder case. And
then Justin Bieber's like pastor from his church. Well, now,

(00:28):
since Justin Bieber has parted ways and not gently basically
coming out, if you respect anything that me or my
family represents, you would not mess with Drew House. I'm
not involved with them anymore. Now we're hearing Ryan Good,
who used to be a tour manager for Justin Bieber,
is saying Justin Bieber's in a cult. He thinks it's
so weird that Justin's really close with his pastor and
thinks there's something really fishy going on there. I'm like, oh,

(00:49):
it's getting it's starting to get real messy with this
whole business.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Then he's always been He was involved with that Karl
LNSK guy for a while too like his other pastor.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Yeah, but now he's saying, Justin's in a They say
that about all religions.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Yeah, how about Katy Perry.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Katie Perry started her tour and she noticed a couple
of fans who were dressed like astronauts in the audience,
and she decided to have a little fun with them.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
You just I love my love timeline.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I love that, And then she took a selfie with
them and probably just like made their whole life like
that experience. You can't, you can't, you can't recreate that ever.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
You know, I saw this headline the last couple of
days and never clicked on it, and I kind of
made it up in my head what the story was about.
But Gwen Stefani about her marriage.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Okay, I love the headline and I love what she's
actually saying. So she was alway Drew Berry Moore and
Drew Barrymore asked like, Hey, what's the best piece of
advice that you've gotten that you think has helped in
your marriage?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Best advice would probably be make sure you have a
third party.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, and you hear the audience go on, because when
she says third party, that's like not insinuating that they
bring someone in the bedroom or anything like that. She
pointed to the sky, meaning God, Like she says, if
you've got God in your relationship, having that third party
really helps everything be successful.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I thought she met a marriage counselor the first time
I saw the headline, like they go to counsel and
I thought that was cool. And then I thought about
marriage counselor when gwen Sefani Blake Shelton walk in, Oh
my god, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, the pressure that as a counselor.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
I thought she said third party. I thought she meant, oh,
you got to have a ready reception for your people.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Like a third party, And it was none of those.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Actually, So what's going on with fire Festival?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
This is pretty crazy because you know, the first Firefest
was absolutely ridiculously unsuccessful. It was a total train wreck,
many people sued. So Billy mcfarntoly the guy who basically
started the whole thing, He's been talking about Firefest two
and how it's going to be so great, and all
these people are like, it's not going to be great.
We don't have any artists. Tickets were on sale for

(03:03):
over a million dollars for this thing, by the way,
and now he just announced that he is parting ways
with the Firefest brand and he's selling it and he
explained why.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
So I think it was like the long and hard
realization that you know, Fire is way bigger than me,
and I'm holding Fire back. So if I'm not in
charge and I passed the rains off to somebody else,
I think the brand can go and flourish. And unfortunately
I'm just like I'm holding it back. At this point,
the combination of fire and ability to create such like
a massive media wave right now that just scares a
lot of people off. And privately they're very supportive. They're

(03:36):
giving us everything we need to make fire Festival to happen,
and then once it goes public, people just get scared.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Nobody's gonna go to that. It's got the worst reputation
of anything that's ever existed.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
I don't know, yeah, And I'm kind of like, I
don't necessarily know. If people are it's your name, Billy McFarlane,
it's Firefest the name. If you want to start a
new festival, call it something totally different and have but
other people who are not you involved, Yes.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Great, Hey, that guy is Billy mc darlin. Is that
his name?

Speaker 3 (04:01):
He's sounds just like Brett. That was Brett.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
That wasn't here like a couple of minutes ago.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Are we hear? It's not the thing?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
So I think it was like the long and hard
realization that you know, fire is made.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
I think you're right, totally different. Brett the Bachelor owns
Fire Festival and he's gonna sell them.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Hey, are your audio clips in yet for the.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Oh no they're not, and I'm having problems with it.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Okay, will the podcast drop on Sunday? I can't drop
it all done and the clips I'm having problems today.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
So yeah, sorry guys.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
All right, So Grant and his wife did the Couple's
Therapy podcast that is going to drop Sunday at ten
