Kate Fletcher. She is a high school English teacher in Virginia.
So every year since twenty sixteen, Kate has laced up
her running shoes and hit the pavement for what she
calls the Lion Pride Run, named after her school's mascot.
But it's not just for fitness, it's for her students
of future. So far, Kate has raised more than one
(00:57):
hundred thousand dollars and scholarships for over six students, and
she adds a new twist every year. One year she
ran non stop for twenty four hours on the school's track.
That's just crazy. What But on another year she completed
an insane one hundred and five mile tramling. She should
(01:17):
go against our friend Rolf because he's probably done that too.
Kate says, this year's run is all about transforming the environ.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
Rolf hasn't done that. He will claim he has.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
He's done one hundred and six miles.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Yes, Kate Fletcher, superhero nice.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
More, Mario Lopez coming up, you're all Mario Courtney Lopez.
Music rolls on, but quickly I want to mention some
of the new things hitting TV and streaming.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Netflix has the premiere of The Diamond Heist. So this
documentary series is about a real life crime caper where
a group of criminals plan to rob the Millennium Dome
in London, stealing the world's second largest flawless diamond.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
So they planned to rob. Evidently they didn't get to
do it. But I want to see this. Okay, this
is going on the nights Netflex.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
No, it's back on the night Star. We're moved a stack.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yes, yes, but while Mario was away, I did clean
out the drawers of our nightstands and we're starting from
scratch because I think we've watched everything.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Did watch that, although right now we finished it was
the last thing we just finished. I finished nineteen twenty three,
We finished White.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Lotus, we started Adolescence.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
We started Adolescence.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
You gotta I haven't seen that, but you got to
watch Severance. I'm telling you.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I told you this via text and you were like,
I don't know. Here's the order.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
We're going to watch Adolescence comedy four episodes, okay, greatly.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
I will start. I'm going to get to that British show.
We had to put side subtitles.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's so hard to understand, so Adolescence. Then after that
American Primeval Peterberg show, the Western.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Well, I want to do the Hollow, all right.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Well, squeeze in a documentary. We'll do the Hollow, the
what's that one? You guys saw it?
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (02:57):
What was the Hollow when Nichols not Lori Valoo? That's
only like four or.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Five right, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, and then we'll do
American previews. Thank you, so we have Fox Hollow Murders,
Fox Hollow Murders. That was worth watching, right, Oh yeah,
it was great. I don't say anything. So so we're
not adolescents American Primeval.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
That was good, right, Yeah, that's it. That's all you
gotta say.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
All right.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
On TV.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Back to Netflix, they're premiering the new limited drama series
Project UFO. This is for you, Frasier or I mean Nichols,
a smug TV host. That's Mario and a small town UFO.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
That's Nichols.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Wow four Job cover the origins of an alleged UFO
signings flitting the nation in a storm of doubts and beliefs.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Wow Music rolls on. After a quick look at the buzz,
Mario Courtney Lopez. Here the boys getting a little more country.
The show announcing new mega mentors for season twenty seven.
Music icons that Leanne Rimes and Ryl Crowe are going
to be assisting the coaches and contestants during.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
The playoff run.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Oh that sounds fun. I would look forward to hearing
what they have to say. It's like new new blood, you.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Know, exactly. All right, let's get back to the music.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
You're a Maril Courtney Lopez time to dish out some
common sands justice all rise.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Courtney's court is noun session.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Toddy's case comes from at Paula BACONI, she says, So
this is a new one. My eight year old had
a lingering cold, but was on the tail end of it,
so I let him go back to school. When I
was dropping him off, one of the other moms who
I'm friendly with, saw him cough and said he'd better
not be contagious. I laughed it off and said he's
not anyway. Her kid got sick a few days later,
and the next time I saw her, she tried to
(04:38):
blame me and even insinuated I reimburse her for the
urgent care visit.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
I mean, am I in the wrong here?
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
I got issues?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Absolutely not. You are not in the wrong. School is
nothing but a cesspool of germs, exactly, And there's no
way to say that your child passed along the the
germs to them. And usually on the tail end of it,
you're not contagious anymore. It's usually, you know, the beginning
of it is when you are contagious. So if you
(05:09):
should have left him home then but no, just ignore this.
Karen and move on with your life.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, get a new friend.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Come that more. Mario Lopez coming up?
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez quickly digging into the buzz because
Lebron James is teaming up with Barbie and making toy history.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Lebron's getting his.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Very own Ken Dolls Mattel's first ever Ken bassater for Barbie,
obviously is going to be taller than the regular Ken Dolls.
That's funny and features James wearing a Varsity jacket, Beats headphones,
and Nike Terminator high top shoes. Failable pretty much everywhere,
but it's got a seventy.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Five dollars price tag. I'm sure my mom will want one.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
I love that they're doing this. I just wish they
wouldn't charge so much.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, because now you've really narrowed down who can be
able to get this doll. But all right, Lebron James,
keep it the music in fun coming your way.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
You're on, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Steal so much to get to Judas or Judice is
all I could say from the Real Housewives in New
Jersey joining us next hour. I got a lot of
stuff from you guys in our mention, so We're going
to dig into those later this hour to see what's
on your mind.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
And we're just a few songs away from taking another
look at the Hollywood buzz. So you got a request,
get it in now. I don't want Mario on Facebook.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
And Mario Courtney Lopez more music coming your way, but
I wanted to squeeze in this thing.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
I saw the New York posts. So celebrities, as you know,
have a tendency to give their kids names that are
sometimes well, unusual or unexpected.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
But out of all of them, can you guess which
is the most hated by expectant parents?
Speaker 3 (06:40):
North is a.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Good guest considering how much controversy Kanye.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Is there a Chicago kid too? Yeah, but I just.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Don't like North. It's not the name North specifically, it's
the Northwest.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Yes, I can't.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
No, there's a really strange he's a guy has a
really strange Their kids.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Is well, Chris Brown's daughter is royalty.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
No, No, this is really really strange and I can't
think of it right now.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I know another kid, not a celebrity name your majesty, really,
your majesty, your majesty.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
There's so many, I mean, well.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
The answer Apple, the name Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin
named their daughter baby named Consultant Colleen Slagan came to
this conclusion after sending expecting parents a questionnaire asking their
naming likes and dislikes. The most common example they gave is,
we don't like.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Names like Apple.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
Okay, maybe it's got a little something to do with
Gwyneth Paltrow in the way they feel about her too.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
It could be.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
But also I think Apple is probably the most known
one because it was so bizarre, right, because Gwyneth starts
all those weird things like the conscious uncoupling. Right, So
I think maybe she's the most known. So that's why
she's referenced the most.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Right If you're wondering.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
By the way, Slagan charges three hundred dollars for forty
five minutes zoom. What meeting to help parents find the
perfect name for their bundle of joy?
Speaker 3 (08:05):
That is such a waste of money, trying too hard?
Are you kidding?
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Good for Slagan? Though, nice hustle more.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
At All, Mario Lopez on ig You're at all Mario
on Facebook and Ax Mario Courtney Lopez your love hearing from.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Your questions comments. Whatever you got? What'd you find?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Honey?
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I found it? This is from at Silly Tilly six
one nine, San Diego. Okay, so happy we're getting another
holiday movie. I celebrate your entire catalog of Christmas movies
and was wondering if you have a favorite. I know,
I definitely do Silly Tilly six one nine.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
That is easy, the one that my wife and son
started with me, my.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Grown up Christmas wish. It was great. Not only was
it a fun cute promise, but got to sing and
dance and my wife was great in it. My son
did a really good job. So yeah, that's definitely my favorite.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
More with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
After this, Courtney Lopez and the spotlight over to my wife,
who's got a mom joke to share?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
What you got? Honey?
Speaker 1 (09:05):
All right?
Speaker 3 (09:05):
What do you call an Easter egg with a great
sense of humor?
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (09:10):
What an extra funny yoker?
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (09:16):
Want to put more emphasis on the g's and good delivery?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Actually extra funny yoker? I like that, you know what?
Quick telling me how to deliver my jokes? You guys,
I said it was a good delivery that you just
that you said, I said, it was a good delivery,
extra funny, yoker. That was good.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
You guys give me you you give me in security,
I laughed on the inside.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
You're all more, Courtney Lopez. Just a few more.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Songs and then going to fire up zoom so we
can chat with Judaice in the Real house Has in
New Jersey. Gia is Theresa Judae's daughter. Now she's all
grown up. She's got a new podcast, another upcoming Bravo show,
so a lots to talk about when Gia joins us
next Tebroe Mario Lopez joining me right now for the
Real Housewives of New Jersey. Daughter of Teresa Judas, Gia Judas,
(10:14):
How are you, Jia?
Speaker 5 (10:15):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Yeah are you?
Speaker 2 (10:17):
I'm doing well and we were just talking right before.
I like the original pronunciation of your name, Juda Chase,
very pretty, Gia.
Speaker 6 (10:24):
Oh judiach, so you can call me Gio Judy.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Che very good, very good. Sounds good. By the way.
Also love Gia because I have a daughter named Gia.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
Yes, that's right. My mom told me that you are
so right.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Your mom's a sweetheart. Known her for years now. I
can't believe after talking with her throughout the years now
I'm talking to her daughter.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Who's twenty four. Dan, you were like five years old
ten minutes ago. What happened?
Speaker 7 (10:45):
Now?
Speaker 6 (10:46):
It's crazy? Time is flying?
Speaker 4 (10:48):
How old are you when your mom started doing the
first season?
Speaker 7 (10:53):
I was, I want to say probably seven or eight.
Oh my god, when Audriana was born. Audrianna was born
on the show. I want to say, season in two
or three and I was nine. Audrianna and I are
nine years apart. Yeah, yeah, it had to have been
seven or eight.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
That's a trip. Oh, that's good for you, and congrats.
You got a new podcast, Casual Chaos. It just launched
on iHeartRadio. What are you talking about on there?
Speaker 7 (11:16):
Honestly, I just want to relate to my audience, kind
of give them my experience on things if anyone's dealing
with divorce, incarceration, and then I also want to talk
about things that are really relatable to young girls so
and young adults, so health, wellness, girl talk, boy talk,
just all the things that a girl would relate to,
(11:37):
but also to help my fans if they're also dealing
with anything like any hard times.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Yeah, no, all that stuff's very relatable. All right, Gia,
hang on quick break We're gonna have more with Jia Judice.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Mario Lopez here getting back to Judas, who we all
know from the Real Housewives in New Jersey.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
New podcast is Casual Chaos.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
And I know in one of the episodes you addressed
a feud with Bethany Franco. I didn't even know that
was the thing what was happening right there?
Speaker 6 (12:04):
Honestly, I think it was very.
Speaker 7 (12:08):
Honestly, I think it was just something that was not
necessary to talk about my mom.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
You know her, She has done.
Speaker 7 (12:16):
Everything and more for my family and everything's under control.
So by me saying that and making my comment, I
was basically just saying, you know, treat others the way you'd.
Speaker 6 (12:27):
Want to be treated.
Speaker 7 (12:28):
Let's not talk about things, let's stuff bring any negative
attention or like to a situation as a parent and
a mother, So that's all I was saying, and just
trying to honestly protect my sisters.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
At the end of the day, Good for you. And
do you have guests on your podcast?
Speaker 6 (12:44):
I do, yes.
Speaker 7 (12:45):
An episode actually just aired at midnight and I had
Sammy Sheen this week.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Okay, it was very cool.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
Her story was super interesting, So it was great.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
I bet it was.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
I bet it was all right, Gia, hang tight, little
music and then we're going to come back with some
more jes.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
Jiujitis. Dot Over Housewives, New Jersey.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Teres said, you guys on zoom with us, you're all
Maria Lopezia. Being that you essentially grew up on TV,
did you enjoy the experience?
Speaker 4 (13:14):
Did you not know any better?
Speaker 7 (13:15):
Really?
Speaker 4 (13:16):
And how was it for you?
Speaker 6 (13:17):
I think so.
Speaker 7 (13:18):
I think I really didn't know anything different. But also
as a little girl, I was a girly girl. I
loved acting, modeling. My mom would make us say fabulous
before taking photos, otherwise we like, would it be able
to go do what we wanted to do?
Speaker 6 (13:33):
It was very picture picture pitcher.
Speaker 7 (13:35):
My mom changed me as a kid fifty times a
day just to do.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
A new photo shoot with me. So I was very
used to it.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
That's how my mom was, even just growing up before
the show so once. I think it really hit me
in my middle school in high school years more so,
you know, just seeing other kids from my town and
watching the show, seeing and then honestly, when the end
cars are happened, it was a lot of you know,
negative publicity.
Speaker 6 (14:03):
It was a big toll in my family.
Speaker 7 (14:06):
And so that was a lot, just you know, growing
up in a public middle school in high school. But
then I became to embrace it and love it and
love the influencing.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
World and I love what I do now. So it all.
Speaker 7 (14:21):
You know, everything has its bad times and good times
and you know, positive and negatives. So it's definitely been
an uphill battle, I would say.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Mario Lopez, you ju guys on Zoom Talking New podcast
also just talked a bit about growing up on the
Real House Size in New Jersey and now you're about

very excited about.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
It was awesome.
Speaker 7 (15:54):
Honestly, my adrenaline kicked my ass. I was so nervous. Yeah,
but he did great. It was a pretty fair fight though.
I have to say, Ohani threw some good punches.

Speaker 7 (16:10):

his whole life. He was a black belt in karate,
so he but it's totally different and he's in his fifties.
