Honey, We are recognizing the captain and the crew of
the Carnival Splendor cruise ship. So the ship departed Australia
for an eight day cruise, but soon made an unplanned
turn after receiving a distress call from a disabled catamaran
about one hundred and seventy nautical miles off the coast
of the New Catledonia in the South Pacific. After a
(00:53):
five hour journey through rough seas, the crew suddenly found
and rescued two couples dogs after their catamaran had lost
its mast and engines during the storm. I have no
idea what a mast is, but I'll just read it anyway.
Despite the detours, the big sale going got it. Despite
the detour, the ship was able to stay on schedule. Wow.
(01:14):
They rescued the passengers and dogs, turning a near tragedy
experience into an unexpected vacation. Man, that is luck.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
You know, back in the day when they couldn't monitor
these boats, you go missing, that's it. You're done now.

Today's case comes from at derrel X. He says, my
girlfriend and I broke up in March after about eighteen
months together. During that time, we got a puppy and
agreed that if things ever went south with our relationship,
we'd work out some sort of shared cuss study of
the dog. Well, since March, she's let me see the
dog twice. I'm heartbroken about the dog, not her. Just
don't know what to do.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Move on. Eighteen months isn't a long time invested. And
I get it, I get it. I am a dog person.
I would be so upset. But as long as you
know the dog is with someone who's taking care of
them and loving them, I think you just need to
part and go your separate ways and just start fresh.

For E except after C. You got to do that one.

Right exactly and through well.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I see through being misspelled when it's used in the
proper when it's used incorrectly. In other words, I went

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Mario and Cordo Lopez here, missus Lopez just got back
from Charlotte, North Ca Calaca, North Carolina, where our son
Dominic is shooting a movie called Bad Counselors. And we're
so proud of him. He's been out there for three weeks.
He's doing a great job. All the reports are coming
back that he's such a sweet, nice, polite kid that
(11:35):
works hard and that's the best feeling in the world.
And this movie is so cute too. It's a true
story where these two college kids get into some shenanigans
and if they don't do this community service, they're going
to be expelled and not able to do the internship
at the law firm. So for their service, they turn
(11:55):
into counselors at this camp for kids, hence bad counselors.
And our son is one of the campers there. He
is and he's just having a time of his life. Huh.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Literally when I wake up, when I wake him up
in the morning, and I'm not exaggerating, he wakes up
and does a big stretch with his arms and says,
I'm so excited for today, Like it is.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
That's awesome, he is.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
It is.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
That is how our mornings, no matter how early, no
matter how late we get in, every morning started like that,
not one complaint.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Gosh, wouldn't it be great if that was a way
for school.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
But that's the thing he has to do. Three hours
of school and he was doing that there every day
and not one complaint. He's just so happy to be there,
and this was you know, he's with other kids so
because they're at a camp, so he's having fun. And
I was semi tortured for the two weeks I was
there because we were out in the wilderness, woods, ticks, bugs, spiders,
(12:55):
what have you? Not my cup of tea? But I
made it.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
You did make it back in one piece. He's in
the home stretch and shout out to the director Chris
Dowling and the team over there. They're putting together a
great project.
