Speaker 2 (00:15):
Like, congrats A new season of your podcast we've been
were playing Spades just premiered.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
The show looks fun.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
You interview celebs, you play cards at the same time, right.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, just in the backyard.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
So it's all about setting the cultural setting of just
like talking.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Mad Ish and is it just spades or you mix
it up?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Nah, it's just spades. We just saw because that game
is kind of known for like the smack talk.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, you know, how loud you.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Can be and cracking jokes on each other, so that
that literally sets the tone for like amazing conversations.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Man, you know, I love card games, and believe it
or not, I don't know how to play spades.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I'm embarrassing, you know what it is, though, I'm gonna
be honest.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I feel like like Latinos your.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Cart well one we all play dominoes. Yeah, I know
how to play I know how to play bones, but
I feel like what card game is for like the
Latin cost we play.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
We play a game called a c Doucy and then
like a lot of my cousins stuff played Rummy and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I don't really play that, but it's more you know,
I was gonna say gin. Yeah, yeah, they play gin,
but I got to learn how to play spades because
I like.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Because that's definitely like that's it's such a like a
backyard cookout. Yeah, we reunion Black culture game and it
started like during like you know, World War two and
like the Midwest, so it's like one of those things
where it really is like a cultural I definitely know,

(01:50):
like I do have some Latino friends that know how
to play.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, no, I want to learn. I want to learn.
You gotta pull up on. I got to learn, and
then I'll pull up got to smoke.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
A lot of people have come on the show and
we teach him, and that's what the episode becomes about
us actually teaching him how to play.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Okay, okay, well then that then I'm await. Yeah, I'm await.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
And then you've had you've already had guests on the show, right,
you've already been shooting for like a while.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is season three and I've hosted
the last two seasons. That's going to be And then
like it's usually like a bunch of you know personalities
other podcasters specifically a lot of you know, comedians and
things like that.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
So who's been the best player?

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Everybody from Kevin Hart to Miss Pat to everybody on there.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Who surprised you with your game?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Kevin is an amazing card player on at any type
of cards, from poker to space to like h the
way his mind works his next level and he's still
being funny the whole time.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Who surprised you with the smack talk? That's why he
throws you?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Like he's that yourge just goes like
you never know what he's thinking because you go, he's
gonna talk smack, but then ultimately like he's really trying
to win his HI level of you know, competitive energy
is crazy.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
That's funny, man.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I love that you also got a new late night
show called Nick Cannon A night was just premier.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Congrats on that. You said you were reinventing late night.
Tell me about the show.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
I mean, it's reinventing late night in a bunch of
different ways, but specifically in this space of you know,
we're used to seeing late night come on network television
and it kind OF's a very standard thing. So the
fact that this is like a more of an interactive
opportunity to you know, through through wondery. But then at

(03:47):
the same time, it has those vibes where it's all
about those almost late night radio shows that we used
to listen to to where it's all about relationships, sex, love.
People are calling in with their problems and it's myself
and a professional, whether it's a doctor or a clinician
or a therapist, and then usually like an entertainer or

(04:09):
a comedy and we just take people's questions and you know,
it gets the conversation gets real spicy, and then you know,
in the last act of the show, I always go
out and do the man on the streets and actually
talking to the people about you know, relationships and all
of that stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
So it's a lot of fun. I like that.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Man, Hey, I'm done for that one as well. That
one I know, pull up and you know it's dope.
We shoot it in Hollywood at Y'all'm a chiro so
oh you do. Oh, that's a nice almost like a
dinner theater Vibeyeah.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Everybody's like eating.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
And drinks and so it's a real practical environment.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
It's kind of dope. That is dope and geographically convenient
for me five minutes from here.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
So let it exactly around the corner, and of course
still host a messinger over on Fox. Now, I hear
there's gonna be some creative enhancements that are gonna premiere
in January.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Are you allowed to discuss those? Do you know what
they are? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, I mean, you know, I don't know if I
can give it away, but it's just we're up in
the game.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Let's just say that.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
And I mean going like, man, we've been thirteen fourteen
seasons of a show. You gotta definitely figure out how
to keep it fresh.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I think we got it. And along with the judges,
you don't know either, right, Nick, I never know.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Well, I don't say I never know because a lot
of times it's people that I helped booking their my friends.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
So there's like two buckets.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
But outside of that, yeah, like if I don't if
and even like when I asked people, like, you know,
I had a conversation I was like with Lil Wayne,
which was a dream to have him.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
He was just a fan because he had salt tea pain.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
So I was like, don't tell me what his costume
is gonna be, don't tell me what episode when, And
so I still didn't even know until he took took
it off, and I was like, oh, it ended up happening.
So I'm part of the guessing game as well. I'm
always trying to figure it out.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
That's my t Paint is still my all time favorite too,
just because that dude can really sing, and you because
of all the auto tone, auto tune, you don't think
about it, but I'm like, my guy can really actually sing,
which is awesome.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah, And I feel like that was the catalyst for
him actually using his real voice and he does all
the time in his career. Man.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah, no, that was a perfect platform for him, right there. Man.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
And hey how the kids, man, how they all doing?
Everybody's good?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Man?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
You know, summertime, so summer activities and camps and all
that out of school. So I am a professional show
for picking everybody up and dropping them off.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
I know how that is, man, uber right there, brother,
Hey man, I always respect the hustle and I hope
you take me up and I'll go meet you.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
