Speaker 4 (00:17):
I am great. It's going to be a beautiful day.
Temp's near seventy degrees. We're all here.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
We had an amazing interview with Tom Brady yesterday.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Oh thanks for reminding me. Yes, Tom called very late
in the show. In fact, unprecedented. We extended the show.
We did We've never done that. We actually canceled music,
canceled commercials because he called in the last several minutes
of the show. So we're going to rerun the interview.
We know people listen at different times during the course
(00:47):
of the morning. People are busy out there, so we're
going to rerun the entire interview with Tom coming up
at a ten this morning.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Good morning, it's the mayor of the South End. I
was just wondering if Billy Costs his head has come
down from the ceiling. Between his award for Boston Magazine
and his interview with Tom Brady. It was such a
great show in the words of Tom Brady, Let's go
have a great day.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Ah, it was great.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
It was that.
Speaker 6 (01:16):
Yes, that Brady interview was definitely a highlight of my career.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
He just it's just he just told us a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
It was so good. It was so good.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
He was just really open and honest.
Speaker 7 (01:28):
Oh, Billy Lesa justin him winning. I just wanted to
say congratulations on the Tom Brady interview. It was incredible.
It was just simply amazing. And I loved when he
said there's no limit in what can be accomplished when
you're working with the right people. It's so true. And
I actually thought of the four of you because each
(01:48):
week you're just raising the bar more and more. So
celebrate the interview and celebrate you.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
That was very well said. You know, the fact is
that's true of us. We have a ball every morning.
I think we enjoy each other towards.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, it's a good team.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Large degree when he has moments, but that's part of
the magic. Right, this is the show and uh so, yeah,
Tom was great. We'll rerun that entire interview at a
ten this morning.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
One more thing on the Tom thing, yaind of he
kind of messed one of our listeners' days up, Day
up yesterday, A little bit, a little bit of an incident.
Speaker 8 (02:26):
Morning crew. No the Caddy here out in Scottsdale, finishing
up my season. Monkey V called my Instagram name at
one ten yesterday. I didn't notice because I was listening
and it was distracted by Tom Brady being on the show.
I was listening to the podcast. I meant to listen.
So Tom Brady cost me a brand new car.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Thanks.
Speaker 9 (02:47):
Oh oh, poor Noah.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
He's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, you know what he said. His season is wrapping up.
We got to get him on the show. Noah the Caddy.
He always calls him with a good talkback. God, it's
gonna be tough for me. Talked back Awards this year. Yeah,
and Nola could have been a lot meaner. He seemed
like it took it pretty well. Oh yeah, car.
Speaker 6 (03:10):
A brand new Hyundai Santa Fe. I would have been
angry here.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Tom Brady, you fat bitch. I hope you cried.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
But I love his passion for our product, right, Like, yeah,
he was busy listening to the podcast.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
That's amazing, and everybody should be busy listening because yeah,
we'll actually we're gonna went out to another name. This
morning at seventenyearl of another shot at the car. Did
we ever hear back another talk back from the woman
who doubted us all day yesterday saying, yeah, it doesn't
look like you're getting tom broh.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
She she did. She left a talkback. Yeah she you
might not have. Yeah she did. Yeah, Okay, she took
it back.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Okay, good, she walked it back.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
She walked it back. Yeah. And I walked in this
morning and I was convinced. I wasn't gonna say anything,
but I was convinced that Winnie had a giant hickey
on her neck. But not a hickey.
Speaker 9 (04:07):
No, I went to stretch by such charities by Jenna
and Wyndham, and she did like a cupping thing yesterday.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
So I got the little but it's almost gone. But
it does look at hickey. Yeah, Bruce, I guess it's
kind of a Bruce.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Bruce.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah, have you ever had a hickey?
Speaker 2 (04:22):
I've never had a hickey?
Speaker 3 (04:24):
You like one?
Speaker 10 (04:26):
Like?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Are you offering to Garrol?
Speaker 3 (04:33):
You see what I mean? We have fun? Do Come on?
You see the look on producers face? Is this really?
Speaker 10 (04:40):
Where?
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Is totally inappropriate?
Speaker 11 (04:43):
And the whole radio.
Speaker 9 (04:44):
Days you would have went and gave gave her a hickey,
Like now we have boundaries. By twenty years ago, you
wouldn't start giving her a hickey.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah. Well, I mean, you know, we're a family. We
do what we can for each other. Everyone gets a hickey.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
I had so many hickeys people would think I'm a leper.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
From Kicky's like a homework.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Idically I started that productions as Rizzo in Greece at Babson.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Oh that's line.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, it was the line yeah wow from Kya.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Here's the question though, Do hickeys still exist?
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I think definitely they do. Really trust me, I have teenagers.
Speaker 9 (05:22):
They do the placement get moved around depending on your age.
Like when you're a teenager, the higgy's on the.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Neck, it's right there.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
You go.
Speaker 9 (05:32):
When you get older, the higgy could be somewhere that's hidden,
totally hidden.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
So in the throes of passion, even today, someone will
just kind of move in and deliver a hickey.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Well, it depends on how the person bruises. Right, It's
just a bruise. So if if you breathe.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Easily, easily, you're gonna be okay. You're upset about.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
What's going on.
Speaker 9 (05:58):
You's easy, right, All you do is just a little
nibble and it's gonna bruise.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Have you always had trouble expressing yourself? I think you
try to get the words out too quick.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Such an interesting career.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Let me, I'm gonna look through the glass to producer Riley.
Producer Riley, I'm asking you a question. Do hickeys still exist?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
She says, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, I trust me. I've
seen a.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Whinny has come in with hickeys before. That's why. Yes
you have. Yeah, you have.
Speaker 12 (06:35):
I since literally high school, and that night I.
Speaker 10 (06:40):
Got two hickeys.
Speaker 12 (06:41):
So I think I blame winning.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yes, nay, okay, I didn't give her the heck, it's
a sign of passion.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
It is.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
It is uncontrollable.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
I think you should wear it with pride. If you've
got a giant hickey on your neck, well mostly they're
on the neck.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
With hickeys, especially on the neck where you can see them.
It takes a little while to get the hickey. You
have to really stuck on it, so you know you're.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Going to get it.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Yeah, then you wear a turtleneck for a couple of days.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
If the guys who wear an asscot that said, boy,
I've never seen you in an ascot.
Speaker 12 (07:15):
Yeah, good morning guys. When I was in college, I
got a hickey from a boy and promptly went home
for the weekend, and I vividly remember sitting on my
couch and my correctional officer father walking in the room
taking one look at me, coming over and telling me
(07:36):
to take my scarf off because he knew that I
was hiding something. And now he works with that kid
as he office.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Oh that's full circles.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
No, they are coworkers.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Wow, that's boy. This is an interesting conversation. I didn't
see this one coming. Maybe down the road we have it.
It's a topic down hickeys. Are we still getting them?
And are we still giving them? Okay, seems like it'd
be a fun talk.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
I think we just had some fun with that, you.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Know what, enough fun. We can put it away now,
I mean, it can be fine.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
We can bring it back. Yeah, suck you spent.
Speaker 9 (08:16):
Oh my god, Oh my god, you say sucking, then
you spit, I said, I said.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
I think that's something else. So we're coming up. I
can't believe it. We're coming up on the entertainment Celtics
have a game too in your TD garden tonight with
the Magic. We're gonna hear about Jason Tatum and whether
or not he's playing. We'll also here from Peyton Pritchard.
He got it, we knew he would six Man of
(08:44):
the Year. Uh, we've got that. And uh we've got
a little snippet from Tom Brady to tease the full
interview coming up at a ten this morning. It's all
coming up next. Hang in. Thanks Bill.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
He sucked it and swallowed or did he spit it out?
Speaker 13 (08:56):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios with the
Villy and Lisa in the morning Kiss.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Oh, I can feel it this morning show. We're either
going to win an award or get fired. One of
two things is gonna happen this morning. But Lisa, you
were hanging out with runners from all over the world.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yes, yeah, I was so.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
I was at the Socony Metal engraving event that they
did for free all day yesterday and I got to
meet runners from all over the world and I asked
them what is your favorite marathon? And it was overwhelming
that Boston is their favorite. And some of these people
walked up with six medals, Like there's a metal with
(09:34):
six different marathons on it, and they all said the
same thing Boston. And you know why, the fans. It
is the fans. We have the best fans.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
And we talk about that all the time when the
marathon comes up. You know the Wellesley girls the tunnel, BC.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Tunnel, they said it keeps them going, and yeah, I
just loved hearing it and I wanted to share that
with everybody.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
And I can tell you on the course of the marathon,
if you're running the marathon, it's those places, it's those
moments create by the fans that you might be thinking
about giving up and stopping, and they get you going again.
So they're right, the fans are a big factor in
the marathon.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Let's go now the entertainment update with a Billy God sets.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
All right, Self's a game two with the Magic in
Boston tonight. The Celts up one game zip in the series.
Jason Tatum listed as doubtful for tonight. Here at the
coach he was able to do some stuff.
Speaker 14 (10:22):
You know, he's sore after the games, got a little
bit better today he's able to go through some some on.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Court work and you know, I'll go from there day
to day. Day to day. We'll see what happens Tonight metime.
Peyton Brichard, as expected, name the NBA's sixth Man of
the Year. Pritchard on what he thinks is.
Speaker 14 (10:38):
Working consistency game in game out limiting like just overall
bad games.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
I'm proud of that. Uh, you know.
Speaker 14 (10:49):
Just my efficiency shooting wise, I think has been really
good this year and uh and this every summer, just
finding different ways to keep getting better and better and
elevate my game and uh, especially in the playoffs. And
then hopefully next year comes and I.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Elevated again in Game two tonight in Boston. Red Sox
beat the Mariners last night eight three. NFL Draft is tomorrow,
and Tom Brady did call into the show yesterday, but
it was late in the show, the last several minutes
of the show, So we're going to rerun the interview
at a ten this morning. But we talked about the
trading card business. He's partnered up with my son Chris
(11:24):
with card Vault by Tom Brady. He says he learned
a lot from trading cards as a kid. He was
never a good student. Now wait for it, because in
the middle of everything, this little girl walking up.
Speaker 11 (11:36):
I'll tell my kids this. I was not much of
a great student. I told this to my son this
last weekend. We actually went to Coachella for who happened
to be out there in Tom Springs, And we had
a great time. And we're driving back and I said, listen, like,
your dad wasn't the best student in the world. As
my daughter just walks in. Agree, I have my precious
(11:58):
little girl that just walked in. She's home from school,
not ceiling.
Speaker 12 (12:01):
Great.
Speaker 11 (12:02):
Ah, he gets to hang with their dad today.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah, we'll feature that interview, the whole interview at a
ten on the show this morning. Just announced we have
a new Golden Bachelor. Former NFL player, former Ram mel Owens,
now a practicing lawyer. Mel Owens headed to The Golden
Bachelor for season two.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
That's all I thought when I read those articles. Now
and I were saying off the air, we're surprised they
didn't pull from the Golden Bachelorette group of guys like
Guy or Jordan or Pascal or Charles l or Gary.
There were so many great ones that they picked on
all new person This is surprising to me.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Is this the first time they've done it? Not chosen
from well, this is on the pool.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
This is the only second that's right.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Yeah, so yeah, I mean he's obvious, he's very handsome
and you know successful.
Speaker 12 (12:55):
We're joined by former first Round traffic Mel Owens.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Mel's thanks take at the time to join us.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
What are you up to these days? I mean, well,
he's the Golden Bachelor.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
There's no air date yet, they're not saying when it's
gonna come out.
Speaker 9 (13:11):
I think it was a mistake to go outside of
that pool because we really did start to fall for
those older gentlemen. They were like showing and they weren't famous,
they weren't football players before. Like, they were just normal
guys in their sixties and sometimes seventies that were just
loving life and they looked great and they were successful.
So I'm kind of disappointed them. I think it would
have been a lot better if it was some we
(13:33):
already seen.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Well Kelsey who is still with Joey, her dad Mark
was on it. He would have been a great person.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Now, oh, he's actually dating an actress right now.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
That's why, well maybe some of them, maybe that's why
they ended up not being single anymore.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Yeah. Now, Gary, the original Golden Bachelor, he's still floating
around as the Golden Bachelor, like milking it like, yeah,
didn't even ruin the entire franchise pretty much.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, he was not a good first pick.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Oh boy, hey Ben Affleck talking about fatherhood again. Remember
recently his son wanted six thousand dollars sneakers and he
said no. He says, his kids basically have minimum wage jobs,
and that's how we like old us to have jobs.
Speaker 6 (14:13):
In fact, one just got a job, and one like
the kind of classic you know, teenager working at a
shop job.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
I won't see what it is.
Speaker 6 (14:21):
My older one, who's in college is working and trying
to get an internship with the summer and stuff.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
I love Ben Affleck, I too.
Speaker 6 (14:28):
All I know is in market basket in Salem, New Hampshire.
Fourteen is the minimum age. Oh yeah, so we're counting
on the days. January seventeenth, twenty thirty one.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
You've already got you have it up on the refrigerator
table's first day on the job. The first trailer for
the I Know What You Did last Summer sequel dropped yesterday.
We have a clip here.
Speaker 10 (14:50):
Someone is coming after us.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
I need your help. I just have one question, What
did you do?
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Last summer. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prince Junior are
back for the sequel. Madeline Klein from Outer Banks is
in the seaque You love her, bill Well. I like
Outer Banks. It's a great show, embarrassingly and watch it.
The movie Conclave arrived on Prime Video this week basically
hours after the Pope died. And by the way, the
(15:27):
Pope's body has been transferred to the Basilica. It'll be
there for viewing until the funeral on Saturday. Thousands are
already lined up for the viewing.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
That was a smart move by the Conclave people, right,
because I want to know what happens in side there.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
The new season of You starts tomorrow night. Actor Penn Badgeley,
who is Joe Goldberg in the show, went on Call
Her Daddy this week says he almost turned down this role.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Is it true you also almost turned this role down?
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Yeah, that's my thing.
Speaker 6 (15:57):
By the time I was twenty, I was like feeling
real illusioned and dried up and tired of being in Hollywood,
of acting.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
I was tired of television.
Speaker 6 (16:05):
Bout time Gossiper came around.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
Yeah, I got that story from Lisa Dunovan because she's
best friends with the You creator.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Well, Carolin Kepnis is doing my book club in Hartford,
May seventh, on the road. Get all the details, all
the tea on what's coming and what's coming next.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
So if you're a You fan, So the book club
is going national now we are.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
We're on the road and actually I'm going to be
on ninety five point seven today Courtney.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
And Kiss in the morning.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Oh do we have a time.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
I'm trying to get it. So, yeah, to talk about
the book club.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Oh, we're gonna have to get some clips from that
Lisa Dunovan on Hartford. Yea radio.
Speaker 6 (16:41):
We gotta monitor produc monitor that radio station.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Please you can go.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
The link is up in my story.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
So if you want to come with us, because a
lot of book club people from Boston, OG we're all
going together.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Aren't you getting a sprinter van?
Speaker 2 (16:53):
They are?
Speaker 1 (16:54):
They are?
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Do I catch you?
Speaker 3 (16:57):
You know you've made it when you.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Get the sprint would pick up.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
It's gonna be two different pickups, one here at Kiss
and one at the South Shore Plaza.
Speaker 9 (17:04):
That's a fun rin live five minutes from the Social Plaza.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
We're gonna getting on.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah, mid mid afternoon. And he can go down and
do some shopping and then hit the book club.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Well, you add another chapter, so to speak. It is
a book club, another chapter to the club experience every time. Wow, Hey,
don't forget. Avril Levine is coming to Boston Boston Calling
this year, and she has a new song with Billy Idle.
It's called seventy seven Boston Calling.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Is that how old Billy Idol is?
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Is that why it's called seventy seven? You know what
they could be? That Shiboozi and jelly Roll elevenue song
coming out this coming Friday. It's called Amen. We have
a clip.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
I know it sounds exactly like a bar song, but
they're saying it could be a big summer hit. Well,
the song of Summer saying it could be a big
summer hit comes out this Friday. You heard it first.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
I apologize for aging Billy Idol.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
He's only sixty nine, okay. Beyonce's mom Tina, and has
a book on the way It's called Matriarch. In it,
she talks about being blindsided with breast cancer. Last summer.
Speaker 15 (18:07):
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my left breast.
I've always tried to take care of myself and I
was in disbelief. It was stage one, which I thought
was the earliest stage. And then when I told my sister,
she said, no, actually there's a zero So if I
had gone for my Mammo Graham, I would have got
it at the zero stage. Thank god, it was still
very small, hadn't spread. It was a very slow spreading cancer.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
And the book is on the way. It's called Matriarch meantime.
Role Model is at the MGM Movie Theater in Boston
MGM Music Hall in Boston. Tonight we were introduced to
role Model by producer Riley. Now role Model has remained
by the way, and he's going to be back in
Boston in July for two different shows because he's on
(18:53):

the MGM Music Hall. Producer Riley is going to be
there and of course they'll do the song Sally when
the wine runs out. Now, does he have a band or.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
I don't know anything about him, but I believe he does.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
I believe he does have a band, but it's just him.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
That's a good vibe. I like that song.
Speaker 6 (19:13):
Yeah, and he's from Maine.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Cape Elizabeth Oh, that's a beautiful area just outside of Portland, Maine.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Oh, you know all about Portland main So there are.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Rumors now, Hickey woman, there are rumors now that Justin
Bieber might be in a cult, and that worries me.
Wasn't he in a cultish church for a long time?
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah, he had a really weird pastor friend the member
of that stage.
Speaker 6 (19:43):
There's a former friend of his that's coming out and
revealing all of this, that they had a falling out
and that he's in some cult that's pulling him away
from everybody that's close to him.
Speaker 10 (19:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
I think it was the guy that was in business
with him, with Drew House, that's right, and that's why
that fell.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
And Scooter Bronze involve all these feuding with Scooter Brown
as well. Boy, I don't know anyway. We're brought to

Speaker 2 (20:24):
From the planet's fitness.
Speaker 13 (20:26):
Kiss one Away Studios, We're back with a Billy and
Lisa in the morning on Kiss one eight.

the name. This person has fifteen minutes to get back

Speaker 2 (21:16):
They're generous.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
How about Coldplay was in South Korea this week on
the on their tour. Yeah, and they brought out Rose

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Come on, this is we'll talk about it in minutes.
Speaker 10 (22:00):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (22:01):
If you known out, come on grinding it out every
day every week, all right, There's no shortcut from here
till the end.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
I'm just gonna have to grind it out. Yeah. So
now you have got fourteen minutes to get back to
us at six one, seven, nine, three one one one.
Oh wait, and if you do, you instantly get the
tickets for Cold Play. Although don't walk by Lisa Donovan
if you have the tickets, because she'll take them from you. Uh,
and you'll qualify for the car. But let's get some
talkbacks in just absolutely why not? Yeah, you get a
(22:29):
good grind. You know, a good grind always leads to
something better.
Speaker 6 (22:35):
It's hot tip oh man, all right, Tom Brady, the
interview's coming back coming up at eight ten. It was
late in the show yesterday a lot of people heard it.
A lot of people caught it on the podcast. If
you missed it on both of those places, you can
catch it right here at eight ten.
Speaker 10 (22:48):
Good morning, guys.
Speaker 16 (22:49):
It was great hearing from Tom Brady yesterday. What a
nice man. How about that, Billy? He gave you kudos
for what a great son you've raised. That was nice
to hear as well.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
It really was.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
It was very nice.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
It was such an amazing interview.
Speaker 6 (23:08):
Yeah, there was so many good highlights. I mean, a
couple of videos were posted on the kiss page talking
about coach Ella and then the heart to heart moment
with you and Tom.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Oh yeah about fatherhood. Yeah that was to another dad. Yeah.
Speaker 17 (23:21):
I just finished listening to the podcast of the Tom
Brady interview, and why am I tearing up? It was
just so amazing and so special. I loved how he
remembered the marathon was this week, and Billy just did
an amazing job interviewing and even made a note at
the end to hope that his daughter was feeling better.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
It was just really.
Speaker 17 (23:44):
Well done, Billy, and I'm really really touched by the
whole thing.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Wow, that was nice, but he was nice. Yeah, Well,
his daughter crashed it, VIVI crashed the interview.
Speaker 11 (23:54):
My daughter just walks in.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Well, he kept pushing the time back. Yeah, on our end.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
Was kind of annoying, but you know, it's Tom Brady.
And then we found out why his daughter was home
sick from school. Yeah, so he was kind of you know.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Managing that.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
And you even got him to talk about his boat.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yes, oh yeah, the boat thing.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, like big boat news.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Yeah. Well you remember his boat made the news when
they won the Super Bowl and he threw the super
Bowl trophy off his boat onto another boat to Gronk
or something. Yeah. Beautiful boat he had, but I guess
he sold that one. And that'll come up because we're
going to rerun the entire Brady interview coming up at
eight ten this morning.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
That's less than an hour from now. It's a big
day for you, Billy. Yesterday named one of Boston's most
influential and a great Tom Brady interview.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
It was a nice day. It was very nice. I
went home, poured myself a nice glass of wine. Oh
the phone is.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Ringing, Oh my god, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Is this the is this the grinder? Angela angelaws your song? Babe,
Let's go Uh, this is you right, stop, drop and grind. Yes, okay,
explain that to us plays we're dying and now.
Speaker 18 (25:16):
Yeah, so I work in orthodonics and when I started here,
my position what is called a grinder, and what we
do is we grind the acrylic of retainers.
Speaker 19 (25:27):
In order to fit into patient's smells.
Speaker 18 (25:30):
And now I bend all the wirework and things like that.
So I thought it was a clever name to kind
of make that my work Instagram.
Speaker 6 (25:37):
All right, we need we need to get our heads
out of the gutter.
Speaker 9 (25:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Yeah, they were in the gutter and now they're in orthodoogy,
orthod from the gutter to the mouth. You know, Lisa
Dunovan's entire family is in orthodonics.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Absolutely. I know that grinding yea of the retainer.
Speaker 19 (25:58):
That's so funny.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Uh, well you made it within fifteen minutes. So and
what's your real name?
Speaker 19 (26:04):
My name is Angela.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Oh hello Angela. So you've got tickets to Coldplay? You
like Coldplay?
Speaker 19 (26:10):
I love Coldplay? That's so exciting.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Yeah, Lisa Dunovan would step over our bodies to get
to Chris Martin.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
And if you need a plus one, I'm there.
Speaker 19 (26:20):
I'm there for you okay me on Instagram, okay, okay.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
On the ground, I know how to stop dropping ground. Yeah, okay.
So you've got the Coldplay tickets and now you qualify
for a free car.
Speaker 19 (26:35):
That's so exciting.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
What are you driving right now?
Speaker 19 (26:40):
I drive a ninety eight Toyota Camera. That's yeah, a
thousand miles.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yeah, I just put that to market.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
That's twenty seven years old.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
That's a hoopy, Angela. You need to upgrade.
Speaker 18 (26:52):
I'm very close to like Fred's wind stoning it and
it's falling apart.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
It's a nineteen ninety eight, yes, and I have almost.
Speaker 19 (27:02):
Five hundred thousand miles on it.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Wha, what did you get it?
Speaker 19 (27:09):
Maybe like fifteen fifteen years ago?
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Oh yeah, you are dude enough.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
Baby.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
That then grinds for sure. It wines and grinds. Angela,
You're a great winner. Standby producer Riley's going to give
you all your instructions. Congratulations on Cold Playing, good luck
on the new car. Thank you, silly and Lisa kiss Oh.
I got to share something justin that just happened off
(27:37):
the air, okay, because I know you get mad when
I refer to something and we don't tell our listeners,
what's going on? I was just informed in this studio
that this coming Friday, there is a movie premiere on
the Lifetime Movie Network. You know I'm kind of a fan.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Yes you are.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
I have the Lifetime Movie Network, although I haven't had
much reason to watch a late but there's a brand
new movie coming to Lifetime Friday night. It's premiering Friday night,
and it's local. It is local to Boston. Not only
is it local, but a woman who worked here and
kissed for years is in it.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
So do you remember Heidi?
Speaker 3 (28:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Yeah, very close with her. She has this amazing choice
for tots event every Christmas.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
I just saw her at a GALLAHI you want the storyline,
I'm waiting occasionally single mom wakes up Hogtide in her house.
Speaker 9 (28:39):
It's called Hell's Hostage in My House, starring Amy Smart,
Matthew Davis, Billy Zane, and Neo.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
And Heidi and her daughter are both in it.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah the movie. Yes, we're trying to get Heidi to
come in here Friday. Yeah, and Nel was just here
just at the garden. Yeah, starring in a Lifetime Movie
Network movie with with Heidi from Kiss.
Speaker 6 (29:00):
Well, this is perfect because our topic time is what
are we watching? Yeah, now we know we're gonna watch
on Friday.
Speaker 10 (29:06):
Watch.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
I'm gonna have a viewing party at the house Friday night.
We gotta get her on.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
I think I followed her. I just texted, Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Gonna get a case of Lisa Dunovan's wine, Lisa's book
Club wine, and I'm gonna watch Hogtide in my house.
Is she the one that's hog tied?
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Now, she's the friend of the girl that gets hog tied.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
To me, that's even cooler than being the woman that's
hog tied. Anyway. That gets us into the discussion, right,
what are we all watching?
Speaker 19 (29:34):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (29:34):
And I'm gonna quickly throw this one out. The America's
I know I've talked about it before. John, I have
a big yes. Go ahead. So okay, The America is
narrated by Tom Hank. Do you have an issue? I
have a little bit of an issue. Okay, So we're
going to talk about what we're all watching, what we're
gonna be watching, and Justin has an issue with me.
That's all coming up.
Speaker 13 (29:54):
So stand by now it's topic time with the Billy
and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
Okay, So we got to talking. We like to do
this occasionally because, let's face it, with all the streaming
and the apps and everything, every day there were dozens
and dozens more projects or TV shows or movies to watch.
It's uncontrollable. Every time I go and take a look,
I said, oh my god, where did these come from?
Like there are so many to choose?
Speaker 10 (30:19):
Wrong.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Well, I'm waiting for you. That starts streaming tomorrow. It's
the fifth and final season.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
That's a big thing.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
I been waiting for it.
Speaker 10 (30:27):
Good morning, it's Lucy here. I just caught up on
the series.
Speaker 13 (30:31):
You I guess the final season is starting this week,
so I cannot wait to watch it.
Speaker 10 (30:36):
Have a great day, everybody.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
I watched the first season and that was it. I
have to go back to it.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
And that's actually has to do with my issue with Billy.
Oh yeah, So you know, a while back, Billy, you know,
decided he wanted to watch Breaking Bad. You know, it's
an older show, and so he started watching. He was
almost through the first season, and I said, you know what,
it's a good idea. I'm going to watch it too.
You know, it's my favorite show of all time, one
of them. Yeah, so I ought'd be cool. As you
(31:01):
watch it, I'll rewatch it and then we can talk
about it every day.
Speaker 11 (31:04):
Right.
Speaker 6 (31:04):
So I started watching it. I got several episodes in,
and Billy just stopped. So now I'm like, do I
keep going? I've already seen it. I mean, I'll watch
it again, but we have all these other shows. Are
you going to go back to it or not?
Speaker 3 (31:15):
What happened? And this happens a lot. It's like I said,
there's so much to choose from. I went to Breaking
Bad because for years you've told me, I can't believe
you didn't see Breaking Back and you love it. Yeah,
And I was coming up on the end of season one,
but then the America's dropped and what'd you wait? What
did you watch last night? Last night? I watched the
very the most recent episode of the new season of
(31:36):
The Handmaid's Tale. Okay, which, by the way, is you know,
here's the deal with me? Okay. It seems I have
a thing every show I watch I tend to hate
the lead character. Okay, Like in The Handmaid's Tale, I
can't stand to look at this Elizabeth Moss, like even
for tensa every time she appeared, and she's always on,
(31:58):
and I'm like, oh, I can't look at it with
this stupid eyes and the drama in her face. It
just drives me crazy. But now Michelle, my wife, is
totally into it again The Handmaid's Tale of the new season,
so I have to watch. But the lead characters always
seemed to bug me.
Speaker 6 (32:14):
I like all the surrounding character right, Well, you just
let me know when you restart Breaking Bad, so I'll
restart it too.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
You know what, I'm going to watch an episode today.
How's that for? Well, there's so many good shows out hey.
Speaker 20 (32:23):
Good morning guys. I usually wait until the third or
fourth season to start watching the show just because I've
been jaded by one too many that get cut off
too soon aka the wire justin you know what.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
I'm talking about.
Speaker 20 (32:35):
That being said, Mobland hooked me because Tom Hardy appears
prosident and Helen Mirrin in one show Holy Mackerel, and
it's amazing, highly recommend Well, I gotta.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
Write that down. What's Thomas Hardy Inland? It's on Paramount.
Oh my god, somebody else told me about that. Okay, Mobland,
that's a must watch. And where's it on?
Speaker 6 (32:54):
Uh, It's on Paramount. Okay, yeah, Moblind, that's supposed to
be good. Yeah, at least are you watching The Last
of Us?
Speaker 2 (33:01):
So I okay and I already talked about this.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
So episode two, season two just dropped, and it was
the most traumatic hour of television I've ever watched. I
actually fast forwarded through some of it because I couldn't
watch how brutal it was.
Speaker 10 (33:18):
It was.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
It was like horrific. And I can't tell you if
you haven't, I'm not going to tell you what happened.
But if you're the Last of Us, if you're a fan,
I want to hear from you.
Speaker 10 (33:28):
Now.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
Is it zombies in the Last Yeah, it's.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Like a virus that you know, infects the world's population
and now they're living past the aftermath of it, and
those these are the survivors.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
And that stars what's his name, Pedro Pascal.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
My favorite act was my favorite actor.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
The reason why I was watching, Yeah, okay, the list
it's yeah, you're gonna like it, Okay.
Speaker 10 (34:00):
Watching Love on the Spectrum. It is on Netflix and
it is three seasons long so far. It is so
genuine and wholesome and I would recommend it.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
My wife's watching that. I watched a little bit of it.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
It's so sweet. It's like this sweet Billy is not it.
It's not for Billy. It's about people on the spectrum
with autism.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
The watch it.
Speaker 9 (34:21):
It ranges from people that have aspergers too, that have
more severe you know terms, I don't know how to
say it, but on the spectrum, and they are the
purest people. They just want to find love. They date
in the most direct way. Oh you don't like dragons,
well I like dragons, so we can't date, but we
can be friends. Like they have boundaries. They are sweet,
they are loving, and they want love and they find it.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
It's exactly number one it is.
Speaker 6 (34:46):
I watched some of it with my wife, and it
sounds like it would be predatory, you know, on people
that have autisms on the spectrum, but it's actually not. Okay,
it's actually it's actually kind of cute. Like there was
one scene I watched where they're on a date and
the guy says, I don't she brings up TV. He goes,
I don't watch TV, and then like she continues to
talk about TV and he goes, I want to change
the subject.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Two people from the Massachusetts area. One Perry. She's from Boston.
Speaker 9 (35:11):
She loves the te She rides the t She has
like a little like that's what she does for fun
is ride the NBTA. She's a big fan. I think
that she give her a job if they haven't already.
And then James, I don't know where he was. I
think it's more like Central mass He's like in his
late thirties.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Those are his parents. He's like an it. He's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Boy, you're really committed to the show.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
It's a really cure show.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
It's something you need your list. Let's go to Jen
and Lawrence online.
Speaker 7 (35:38):
Two.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Hey, Jen and Lawrence, you're online too. What are you watching?
Speaker 18 (35:44):
Hi, guys, I'm just calling in.
Speaker 21 (35:46):
I just watched The Pit on Max. If you're into
medical dramas, this is the best.
Speaker 10 (35:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
A lot of people are raving about The Pit. Who's
in it?
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Noah Wiley?
Speaker 9 (35:59):
So I heard it's it's one day right, It's like
fifteen episodes, like fifteen.
Speaker 11 (36:04):
Hours all one day.
Speaker 22 (36:06):
Each hour each episode follows one hour.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
And wow, that's a really cool concept.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Justin, I got you to watch The Americas.
Speaker 9 (36:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (36:17):
I watched the two episodes. Yeah, really good. In the
first episode, they cover cicadas, yes, And the cicadas are
coming to Cape Cod?
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Do you guys know that?
Speaker 6 (36:25):
With and assume they're waking up in Cape Cod all
the way from Cape Cod to Long Island.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
At least you may want to pack up that peach
locker down there at Craigsville Beach. The cicadas are coming. No,
it's actually really cool the shots they get on the show.
They got up close with the cicadas. They literally like transformed.
Speaker 19 (36:44):
How did they do it?
Speaker 2 (36:45):
I don't know every different animal, the horses.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
It's the most amazing videography I've ever ever seen. And
Tom Hanks narrates it. And you don't have to watch
it all at once, just occasionally watch another episode.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
It over five years.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (37:00):
Yeah's incredible. Well I watched two episodes. I was gonna
keep going, but then I stopped for breaking that because
of me, because of you.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
Yeah, so I got to move on. Let's go to
Lynn and Rhode Island. Speaking of moving on, we're moving
out to Rhode Island.
Speaker 21 (37:13):
Hey Lynn, good morning, Millie, good morning everyone.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
Where do we go?
Speaker 21 (37:18):
I just I just finished watching a series seven seat
series called Younger Younger. I don't know if any Yes,
I know, I was kind of my best friend. It's
about it's about this woman who her name's Eliza Miller,
but Sutton Forrester. She's uh dating knew with names, but
(37:40):
I forget it. So she's forty one, she has a baby,
married the whole nine yards. Then she gets out of
the workforce. Then she decides to get back into the
workforce because she's an editor and she can't get a job.
Excuse me, So she put on that she's twenty six
(38:01):
years old and gets a job, and she ends up
falling in love with the the the the guy who
runs the whole, the whole.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
You're understand following you? No, listen, I know what it's
called younger. Okay, you know what lends in the building?
Definitely in the building Brandon and Bridge. You know she
(38:35):
hasn't had her coffee Brandon and Bridgewater. Go ahead, what
have you got?
Speaker 22 (38:41):
Hey? Good morning? Yeah. Now, my wife and I were
watching A Good American Family on Hulu. If you heard
of that, it's uh Ellen Pompeo I think is the
lead actress. Oh yes, it's real creepy. So it's this couple.
It's like sat in like twenty ten, and they adopt
(39:04):
this girl. She's supposed to be like seven years old.
The dwarf is the But then quickly there's a question
is she's seven or she middle aged and just pretending
to be a kid, and she tried to kill the
mom and it's, uh, you know, we're only halfway through.
So based on a true story, I guess.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
Oh, is it a movie or a series?
Speaker 11 (39:27):
It's a series.
Speaker 22 (39:27):
It's a short series, six episode each one's a little
less than an hour.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
And they adopt a little person.
Speaker 9 (39:33):
Yeah, it's rec'm a true story actually from like Russia
or like Ukraine.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
The dwarf well, yeah, but they questioned.
Speaker 9 (39:41):
They questioned her actual age because she looks younger. But
they're like, oh, is she actually seven or she's seventeen?
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Like you know, like Ellen, Yeah, all.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
Right, any questions If you were the eighth Dwarf in
the fairy tale Now White and the Seven Dwarfs, what
would your name be and why
