Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, you get four of them. It's it's great. Oh, oh,
you get to be on the Kiss from Away Countdown,
the Booby Prize Top thirty Countdown. What do you mean
the Booby Prize?
Speaker 3 (02:10):
They call it?
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Are you kidding me? I don't call dolls.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
We know what the real Booby Prize is. And with

I don't know where the night out is, but you know.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Mike, take somewhere fun it's a.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Top house that would be a night in.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, well they got the pool in the hotel.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
They got it all going on.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
It's funny. Mikey will be in tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Actually you can't wait to ask them.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Oh boy.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, So Monday morning, eight ten is when this kicks off. Listen,
we've done the match game many times over the past
couple of years. It's our most requested contest to return,
and now it's back, and we just we know things
are gonna get heated. Yeah, okay, we know. You have
to listen, you have to take notes. And what happens
is people miss a play and they miss a number
(03:22):
that's chosen, and then they call and they pick a
number that has already been chosen, and then the anger comes.
Speaker 7 (03:27):
It should be a crime to call and play the
match game if you have not listened to the match
game penalty they have to raise all the bunnies. Don't
pay attention, Olivia, don't play.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Save it for us to pay attention.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Okay, we don't want that. It's it's a fun game
with amazing prizes. Listen if you miss, if you don't know,
don't call. I guess you gotta you know.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
You watch the family feud. Nobody's yelling and screaming at
each other. True, Okay, it's good old fashioned family fund.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
I feel like you should.
Speaker 8 (03:58):
You should try because you could have the luck of
the draw. You might have never heard before, and you
pick two numbers. There's sixty numbers.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
You could guess, right, lucky, But I do understand the
people that are listening to every single play, they're writing
it down, they're taking notes, and then they can't get through.
When the person that does get through is the person
that wasn't paying attention.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Right, it's hard to be called twenty five.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
That's where the anger comes from.
Speaker 6 (04:19):
The match game is going.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
To be heated.
Speaker 9 (04:22):
Taking numbers, writing down prizes, dialing it seven ten, eight,
it's on.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Yeah, it's eight ten this time, ay, three times a day,
eight ten, twelve, ten, three ten.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, and the bucks and cash.
Speaker 8 (04:34):
Twenty four prizes. So that means there's forty eight spots
on the board. Biggest board ever, yeah, the megaboard.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
And then Lisa mans the board.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Every time my little magic microphone.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Oh yeah, we got to get that microphone back, yea,
Lisa's at the board.

Speaker 11 (06:22):
I'd be so cool.
Speaker 3 (06:23):

for kids, but we'll take adults.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
We take adults.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Yeah, but you know it's fun for kids.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Can you make some noise? Let them know you their kids? Who, Jamantha,
can I get.
Speaker 12 (06:34):
A what what?
Speaker 11 (06:39):

he's gonna be a daddy.
Speaker 3 (07:31):

brother is he ready for this this change? It's gonna
be a big adjustment, you know what I mean?
Speaker 9 (07:45):
Hey, guys, question on behalf of me and my bff Jill.
We were just wondering best summer ever? Does that include

to give away. Yeah, twenty four prizes we wanted to fill.
We have the countdown spot.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah you know, well, no, it could be a last
minute Oh.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
I don't think we can do that.
Speaker 8 (08:31):
Se I need to coordinate the last one that you
gave away that we haven't fulfilled yet, right, we still
have that to.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Have you witnessed any boating weather lately.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
Well, it's very touchy for him because you know, this
is a very expensive hobby for Bill and he only
gets so many weekends out of the year and he
hasn't been able to take the boat out once for himself,
never mind for other people.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Well maybe we could do a weekday night yeah winner.

that's for the old match when I haven't focused on.
I wanted the new match game. Yeah yeah, and the
amazing prizes. But if Bill wants you to invite you
to his boat, it's up to him.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
On my boat. Light it up.
Speaker 11 (09:13):
Okay, this is.
Speaker 14 (09:13):
Iona Ganday and we're back with Billy and Lisa in
the morning. Now the entertainment update with the Billy Codstap.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Okay, by the way, I want to say a quick
happy birthday if you don't mind. Certified plastic surgeon, doctor
Sean Dougherty's birthday today.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Happy birthday.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Sean repeatedly named Best of Boston, number one in the
city plastic surgeon. I love Sean, our guy, doctor Sean Doherty.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I love his videos on his Instagram. You know, he
gets kind of behind the scenes of his practice. It's
actually very informative.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
He starts every video with Hi.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Yeah, I'm doctor Sean do certified plastic surgeon. Certified.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
He has seen more breast than anyone you'll ever meet.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
You really have, Yeah, he does. He gave me a
breast exam on your boat.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Up front and personal with your breast justin Yes, he
was okay, right in your little kitchen. Yes, every time
you're in the kitchen, you think about that.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Happy birthday, doctor shot. Okay. The Weekend had the second
of two shows at your let Stadium last night. We
sent a lot of winners to the Weekend Show both nights,
by the way, and they were sending talkbacks. Amber sent

Speaker 15 (10:31):
Hi about the Weekend, right, now thank you so much,
just went away.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
I love you guys, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 10 (10:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
And if you think the weekend tickets were something, Monday
morning the Mega Mega Match game on the billion LEASA
Morning Show driven by Jeep. The prizes are extraordinary. Gracie
Abrams one of the hottest stars in the world. One
of the prizes is to see Gracie here and Gracie
in Los Angeles Byeway. Yeah. Wow, And that's just one
(11:02):
of the prizes. Pretty much, tickets for every one of
the big shows this summer. Well, that's the best summer ever.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
And we have a thousand dollars Visa gift card.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
That's like cash money.
Speaker 13 (11:11):
I need that.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
That's going to be a hot prize, yeah, don't you think.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah. We now have a release date for the new
Sabrina Carpenter album. We've been playing the first single off
that album. It's called Manchild. So the album comes out
August to twenty ninth. It's called Man's Best Friend and
(11:37):
nobody having more fun than Sabrina Carpenter, Right, he.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Is such a wordsmith.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
She's back together with Amy Allen again and Amy is
so tongue in cheek and Sabrina on X said that
she wants everyone to stick their head out the window
and screen the lyrics of the song, paying homage to
what a dog does when it sticks its head out.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
The women to a car and she's foc on the
dog because the cover art for the new album has
Sabrina Carpenter all dressed up but on all fours right,
and there's a gentleman in the scene pulling her hair.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
Well like a leash.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
You know what she is Lee, She's playful, she really is.
I love it.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Like when I saw it yesterday, I was like, oh
my god, I have to post this. Like, I truly
adore her.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
She's so funny.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
There's a lot of controversy is on.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Social They're like, what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (12:27):
She's gotten so much like backlash because like they think
she's over sexualizing herself and all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
I think she's fabulous.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Everything Sabrina does she does with a wink.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
She does that's exactly what a wink.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Wink by the way, loosen.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
Up right, And so does Amy Allen with her lyrics.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Yeah. So anyway, there's that and the comments have gone
both ways, and you know, you just got to have
some fun. I think social media was created to create anger.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
I think you're right.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, it's crazy land.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Yeah, you got to bark all day, doggie, are you
gonna bait? I think she'll bite?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Justin was like waiting for this morning.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Right I live. You have no idea how many bar
Eclipsy has.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Oh there was so many. Yeah, they're all fired up
and ready they go.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
That's that's his favorite.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Oh yeah, well she's got people talking. Yes she does,
you know she really does.
Speaker 13 (13:28):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
And then there's Eminem, longtime producer for Eminem's confirming Now. Yes,
Eminem did want Mariah Carey to play his mom in
the movie eight Mile, but Mariah said no. So I
call him first, and I was like, I don't do this,
do you know what I mean.
Speaker 13 (13:45):
I'm like, I know where you're going with this, Like,
let's I'm managing this girl and it's gonna cause me
a problem.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Man.
Speaker 13 (13:50):
He's like, no, I genuinely want her in the movie.
And I'm like, okay, cool, buck, get her on three way.
Put him on the phone, and the first thing his
mouth is, I want you to play my mother. Securities
kicked in.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
I think she said no because she thought she was
too young to play Eminem's mother.
Speaker 8 (14:13):
She would think that now, like she's I think in
her mid fifties, and I mean, and she looks amazing,
she really does. But she doesn't like to address her
age or talk about her age. She always dats guys
way younger. Right now she's eating Airerson Park, who's in
his mid thirties.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Mariah is dating Anderson Park. Yeah when did that start?
Speaker 8 (14:34):
So talented, so talented, I want to say, with the
last six to twelve months and now they've been like
he was drumming for her.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
I believe the Bete Wards he's I mean, he's super talented.
They've been. I think he help collab on all her
new music.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Oh he's a good drummer.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Yeah amazing, but yeah, wow, good for her.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
That's a cool story, a cool couple. Yeah, Anderson Pak
and Mariah carried by the way, Mariah is doing our
iHeart Music Festival in Vegas. So Anderson Park might be
he has.
Speaker 8 (15:01):
Been holding her pocket like he knows that he's dating
somebody that is an superstar at Icon and he appreciates
it and he like is very proud of it.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Do you remember when we had Nick Cannon on this
show when he was with Mariah Carey, and jokingly we asked,
so does Mariah like ever you know, go in the
kitchen and fix you up a sandwich? And he's going,
are you kidding to do else? Yes?
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Yeah, all right? Any other questions on this belt.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Didn't Kim Basinger play Eminem's mom in nine Miles Now? Actually,
Kim Basinger did play.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Mariah was only three years older than them when the
movie Wow shot.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Okay, I'm not worried about Mariah. Beach Boys co founder
Brian Wilson, one of three Wilson brothers, by the way,
in the Beach Boys years, the Beach Boys legendary. He
died at eighty two.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
Rest in peace, Yeah, big ball. The fact that the
Beach Boys are a version of them still perform is crazy.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
I know.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Mike Love with John Stamos.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Mike Love was a key player in the Beach Boys.
So anyway, that's sad this morning. Actor Harris Eulen died
this week. Harris was mel in the Scarface movie.
Speaker 10 (16:22):
Whoever said you was?
Speaker 16 (16:26):
You?
Speaker 14 (16:26):
Let me go fix this up?
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Sure, maybe you can handle yourself. One of them first
class tickets. Russell Wick. So long man, what there?
Speaker 3 (16:39):
It goes all right? Eighty seven years old.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Yeah, that's pretty old.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Yeah, one of the classic scenes in American film. God,
we've gotten a lot of use out of that, My
long Mel. Yeah, and now we're actually saying so long.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
When Mel robbins game in.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Yeah, at the end of it, of course we did anytime,
any Mel. Yeah, that doesn't matter. Atlanta rapper Cilento thirty
years in jail for kissing his cousin, killing his cousin.
Speaker 8 (17:13):
I remember I was like in college when this came out,
and it was just like, oh, it's crazy. It was
everywhere is not going to be doing much whipped. I
did deep dive on him a lot of mental health problems,
like a lot way before he killed his cousin, like
going into house people's machetes.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
That's terrible. Oh yeah, oh yeah Cilento. Amy Lou Woods,
she's the actress with the big teeth in The White Lotus.
She was great. She was one of the hind of
the show this past season. She was on Kimmel Last Night.
Says she really struggled when the show rapped because they
spent several months together.
Speaker 17 (17:55):
It was a very long time and I think that's
why there's a real feeling of separation anxiety.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
We have to leave each other.
Speaker 11 (18:02):
Yeah, it's like two summer camps in a row or something.
Speaker 6 (18:05):
Yeah, it is.
Speaker 17 (18:06):
It's intense, and there's definitely a lot of codependence I think,
is there.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (18:10):
I mean I can't go a day without speaking to Leslie.
Oh right, it's constantly voice now, Like, Yeah, it's amazing though,
because you found family.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
It's just beautiful.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Didn't she get like mad? One Saturday Night Live did
a skit.
Speaker 18 (18:23):
Ye.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
I kind of can't believe she got mad because that
is such like an iconic show to make like they
make fun of you because you're so amazing.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Yeah, well she was cool with it initially, but then
it became too much for her, and then she started
getting angry about the teeth comments. And I think she
started a trend. You're seeing more and more big teeth.
Speaker 11 (18:45):
Now.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
I don't think.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I'm telling you there's a trend. There's three shows in
a row that I watched very recently, including last week,
there was an actress with big, protruding teeth.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
I don't think they're in Hollywood meetings.
Speaker 14 (18:59):
I think.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
I think they look and I think it works for Amy.
Speaker 11 (19:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
I mean it definitely stood out.
Speaker 8 (19:05):
I never seen I had never seen her act before this,
so it definitely when came on Streen.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
I was like, oh, okay, that's where we're going with that.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah, good news. If Amy lou Wood wants to fix
her teeth, Atlasa, you've got an entire fan in the world.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
I do dental Yeah, dental work, yeah, or go to
Dental Partners of Boston.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
It's right in the Seaport district of Boston, Beautiful Offices.
Devil was part of two. It's going to start filming
next month.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
The Devil was part of two.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
That's Crazy Yep in July, and then it's going to
come out in May.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
I didn't.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
I haven't been twenty twenty six, which is crazy.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
I haven't been the first one yet.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Oh, it's iconic and the whole cast is back, Meryl Streep,
Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci. That like almost never happens.
I mean it's been a long time. Yeah, since the
first one came out.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
I saw the original couple of times. Meryl Streep and
it's one of my emergency it's.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
One of my most favorite.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
So I guess so supposedly the Emily Blunt character is
now like head of a luxury brand group, and Miranda Priestley,
who is Meryl Streep, is trying to get her money
in the magazine.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Bill Belichick had a press conference for UNC football yesterday.
He was asked about his girlfriend Jordan and if she
would have a role with the team. Here's a Zanti doesn't.
Speaker 16 (20:20):
Have any role in the UNC football program. But again
there's been you know, noise out there about a lot
of different things. Again, our focus is, you know, day
to day getting better, stacking good days together, you know,
having good rest, recovery, you know, on training, moving forward.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
The next day, you think he told Jordan yet I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
I think she was going to have some kind of role.
I mean it looked like that she was on the
field and then all of these obviously all the things
that unraveled, it probably changed.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
She was on the sidelines wearing spiked heel boots and
a long coat. Mike, Yeah, with the whistle ordering people around.
Speaker 5 (20:58):
Also, they're a public university.
Speaker 8 (20:59):
It's at a private school, right you have, I mean,
you have an obligation to the people of North Carolina.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
That's how one reporter got all the emails, right cause
they have to.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
Yeah, it's like, if you're gonna have this, you know, circus,
do it at a private school. Don't do tax dollars.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
I think Bill separating himself from the football in Jordan.
Yeah right, don't you think? I think he changed it.
Speaker 11 (21:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
What do you think? Bill?
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Let her come after you, crawling on her hands and
knees like a dog. Oh man, this these stories just
right themselves. Brina Carpenter. Hey, we're brought to you by
the ninety nine Restaurants. If you're looking for the perfect
gift for dad, ninety nine restaurants gift cards are really
(21:41):
the perfect gift. For every twenty five bucks you purchase,
you'll get a five dollars bonus card for yourself. Gotta
love the nines And there you go.
Speaker 15 (21:49):
So long.
Speaker 14 (21:52):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios, we're
back with a Villie and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Kiss Well, welcome back everybody. It is the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. Right after this morning's radio show, I
will be flying off to Nantucket, or as we call it,
the Gray Lady, for the Nantucket Book Festival, of which
I am a part. You know, Jenny Johnson and I
have a book. It's called The Taste of Boston with
(22:19):
Billy and Jenny, and it so happens. Our buddy Tim,
Tim Talks Books, is on the phone right now. Good morning, Tim, Hi.
Speaker 11 (22:27):
Billy, Hi Lisa. Thanks for having me on this morning.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
You know what's cool, Tim, We'll get to the Nantucket
Book Festival because I know it's your baby, you run it.
But Lisa Dunnovan, just two weeks ago was in Nashville and.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
You were at the same event at the Jenna bush
Hager Book Festival.
Speaker 11 (22:41):
We were, but we were across the way and I
don't even think we got to say hi to each other.
We were so busy up there. But Anley, you and
I I feel like are one degree away from each
other in so many circles. So I'm so glad I'm
finally getting to talk to you.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
I am too well. You're also you have something else
in common with Lisa Dunman, is that the two of
you are really good friends of Ellen Hill the brand.
Yes we are.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
And Allen's doing my book club in October, your new book,
The Academy.
Speaker 11 (23:08):
Yeah, yes, I just started our season three of our podcast,
Books Beach and Beyond, So it's gonna be a great
summer of books, for sure.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
I'd love the name of your podcast, Books Beach and Beyond.
Speaker 11 (23:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
How long has the podcast been on?
Speaker 11 (23:25):
Tim? This is our third season, so yeah, we just
started with an intro episode and then our first official
guest is next week Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
And Tim talks books. Not too shabby, Tim big operation.
Speaker 11 (23:38):
Oh well, thank you very much. Yes, I've been very
fortunate for so many opportunities, and I mean, I'm truly
this passionate about books. I take a book with me,
and I even hate to admit that if I'm going
to a different room in my house, there is a
book in my hand, because you just don't know when
you're going to have a second to crack one open.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
I gotta ask you, Tim, do you do you happen
to have mine and Jenny's book around the house?
Speaker 2 (24:01):
I do.
Speaker 11 (24:02):
I actually have it right in front of me, And
I will say, Billy, not only am I excited to
hear you talk about all the chefs and the recipes,
but I think this book is just such a celebration
at your and Jenny's partnership over the years, and it's
really it's really, really something special. I have to ask
Bill because I love asking authors questions. And we had
Ina Garten on our podcast.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yes, I want to host in an event with Ina Garten.
Oh you did, lovely woman.
Speaker 11 (24:26):
Oh my gosh, she's wonderful. But I asked her what
her last meal would be, so Billy, out of a
taste of Boston, you had to pick one last meal.
What is it going to be?
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Ooh, man, You're going to make a lot of chefs
mad at me. The one I don't choose chicken palm.
Speaker 11 (24:43):
Okay, maybe I won't put that pressure on you all
of them. You'll just have to eat all day.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
I'll keep it simple. The meatballs at Davio's. Okay, any
Davio's location.
Speaker 11 (24:54):
That sounds delicious.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Didn't you just go to Oprah's book event?
Speaker 7 (24:59):
You know?
Speaker 11 (24:59):
Oprah and I have always been kindred readers, ever since
she started her book club in nineteen ninety six and
I was thirteen. It was the deep end of the
ocean and I was so intrigued that someone was giving
me a reading recommendation on TV. And yes, I've been
very fortunate to have three events with Oprah and I
was just in Seattle at Starbucks headquarters filming one of
their Starbucks Conversations with her, and it was amazing. And
(25:22):
then actually two of the most recent Oprah's book Club picks,
Ocean Vongs The Emperor of Gladness and Wally Lambs The
River Is Waiting, will be here for the Nantuckt Book Festival,
and I get to interview both of them. So it's
all kind of a connected world, and Oprah's kind of
the puppet master there.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
So you've actually had a lot of private time with
Oprah Winfrey.
Speaker 11 (25:43):
There was one virtual event that we did for Barbara
Kingsolver's Demon Copperhead, and my husband set up the tech
and everything, and then everyone else kind of started dropping
off and it was just Oprah and I on the screen,
and so we got to talk about all the books
behind me because I was set up in my home
library and we were pointing out all the Oprah's Book
Club picks that were our favorite. So yes, and she's
(26:05):
a wonderful woman and honestly just my book whisper in
so many ways.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
So, Tim, when are you going to do Lisa Dunovan's
Book Club?
Speaker 3 (26:13):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (26:13):
I haven't invited.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
You know what, any time, anytime you're available, we would love.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
To have you.
Speaker 11 (26:19):
I'd love to be there.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Put up to the desk, tell them who you've got
coming up for the next couple.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Well, I know that you like Jody Pico. I see
that she's coming.
Speaker 11 (26:28):
Oh, I love her so much.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Maybe you should come to that one August twenty eighth.
It'll be a big night live in Boston.
Speaker 11 (26:34):
She's one of my best sies. We met through a
book festival, I think in twenty fifteen, and I've been
to all of her children's weddings. We go way back.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
Oh my god, you have to come.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah. And then what's the next one? You've got Jodi Pico?
Who else is came?
Speaker 4 (26:47):
I'm a doctor.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
We have a dermatologist to the stars, doctor Paracone per Cone.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Excuse me?
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (26:54):
So, Tim, what you do Lisa for a book in Boston?
It's incredible.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
So Tim, as the head guy at the Nantucket Book festbook,
can you walk us through it our listeners? First of all,
can people still go?
Speaker 11 (27:07):
Yes? It's free and open to all. I think that's
something that shocks people because Nantucket has looked at as
such an exclusive Island. But we try to make Nantucket
Book Festival as inclusive as possible, so the majority of
the events are free. You can hop on the ferry
today or Friday or Saturday or Sunday, walk up the
street to the Methodist Church at to Center Street, and
(27:27):
you have a full day of author events that you
can enjoy free of charge.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Yeah, Jenny and I will be at the Methodist Church
this afternoon as far as I know, and people can.
Speaker 11 (27:36):
Meet at three pm. Yep. And people can walk in.
I mean that's the beauty of it. And I think
it's really unique for Nantucket. It's people can just be
walking down the street and pook their head in and say, oh,
I'm going to listen to these authors.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Now, Tim, as the organizer, what do you do? How
do you handle it? If you know the author shows up, say,
for instance, me and Jenny and nobody else does.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
He's so worried Tim about this, It's all he keeps
talking about. He's like, what if they're like three people there.
I'm like, Billy, that is.
Speaker 11 (28:02):
Not going to be true. I mean we I mean,
we've pushed this out there and we have a huge
team behind us. I mean, and I will not claim
credit for completely or I'm the president of the Book Foundation.
We have a whole team of a board of directors.
Our full time employee, Kaylee Kokomore is the executive director,
and I just think patch off to her for a
successful weekend, and I guarantee there will be people in
(28:22):
the seats. People are really excited.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Okay, So what you're saying, Tim, is if you have
a lot of seat fillers, if you need them.
Speaker 11 (28:30):
I know a lot of people that I could just
start scream, you got to get in here now.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
It's going to be great, Tim, It's gonna be great,
especially when they introduced Billy. It'll be fine.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
Well I toss everybody, give it up for Billy.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Oh gosh, you know what, justin you know what. It's
a big deal. All right, it's the Nantucket Book Festival
with Jenny and I are gonna be there.
Speaker 18 (28:49):
You're an author.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
This is so cool, Tim, Thank you so much for
making having Jenny and I as a part of the
festival on Nantucket. Thank you so much.
Speaker 11 (28:58):
I'm thrilled you're making the trip. It's going to that
you're going to have a really good time. How long
do you get to stay or do you have to
go right back to work.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Well, what I should mention, Jenny and I are also
shooting a whole one hour special on Nantucket while we're
down there for the book festival. Uh So that'll be
good and we'll be able to tell everybody when that's
gonna air and all.
Speaker 11 (29:16):
That's really exciting.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
That's awesome all over the island. And then I fly
home tomorrow night. But I will see you this afternoon, Jim,
Thank you so much.
Speaker 11 (29:24):
Thanks, thank you, safe travel, Thanks Lisa.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Bye, guys. All right, thanks so much, thank you.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
I ap give it up for Billy.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
Lisa.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Justin talk back leftovers, Let's go get them.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Yeah, I'm looking at a bunch here now. I don't
know how many I can get to. But we thank
you for joining the show on various different topics, and
we always say you can check in on the iHeart app,

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Yeah, I've never been. You've never been nost I've been.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
To Greece and a couple of Greek islands, not Miconos.
But Croatia is said to have the nicest beaches in
the world.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
Yeah, I've never been there either.
Speaker 16 (30:39):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Well, have fun and thank you for checking in. You
can always listen. You can do it for anyone in
the world. That's what's cool about the iHeart app. It's free,

we love it when people check in.
Speaker 8 (30:49):
You know.
Speaker 7 (30:50):
Good morning, morning crew. I just wanted to bring up
the topic of songs this summer again from a couple
of weeks ago. Now that ed Sharing song sapphires out,
I think it could definitely be a contender for this summer.
Speaker 6 (31:03):
Super fun and energetic, easy to dance too.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Yeah, but it's not Island, right, It's India.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
It sounds island India. We learned he recorded it in India.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
Me, don't you win the body I can do that.
Speaker 15 (31:20):
I don't be morning.
Speaker 5 (31:22):
I don't get island vibe at all. I get Indian vibes.
I do not get like Caribbean.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
I get it could be an island India. Yeah, I
think any or.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Yeah, I do like it. It's a lot. It was
one of my jams when it came out, so we'll
see how it does. Yeah, we did that Songs of
Summer segment. I think it was last week. You can
check that out on the podcast.
Speaker 18 (31:39):
Hi guys, it's I got run over by a karkira Today.
At my school, I am running our first science there ever,
and I just wanted to give a shout out to
all my students.
Speaker 6 (31:50):
I have eighty seventh graders that have been working on
eighty separate.
Speaker 18 (31:54):
Projects for two weeks, and I'm so proud of them,
and I'm really excited for them to stay curious and
to enjoy the night to night.
Speaker 6 (32:02):
So good luck to them, Anthony.
Speaker 18 (32:04):
And my mental health.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Eighty students, yeah, and eighty different projects.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
It wasn't that good at science me, I really wasn't.
I remember though we had those fairs we had to
do the science projects.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
I just went to a few myself for my kids.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
I always fell apart.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
Yeah, I did like an exploding volcano.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Oh I think we did that too, Yeah, the lava,
the fake.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
One, the hair dryer underneath.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Yeah. I think you either like are into it or
you're not.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Don't they do the exploding volcano at Hibachi restaurants?
Speaker 12 (32:38):
They do?
Speaker 1 (32:40):
They do you do with the onion rings.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
You know what's funny about Kara? You know she's been
in here before she got she got run over by
a car literally, yeah, like almost killed. Yeah, and she
checks in all the time. But one thing we learned
about her is she's a big fan of the nineteen
seventy five Yes, and I have one of their songs
on my playlist. And I'm bringing this up because I
was at the gym yesterday listening to that playlist and
the song came on And every time I hear the song,
(33:05):
I think about Kiarra.
Speaker 11 (33:06):
You know.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
It's so funny.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
I do too, you do?
Speaker 18 (33:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (33:09):
For the sound?
Speaker 4 (33:10):
The sound?
Speaker 3 (33:10):
Yeah, Yeah, she's like their biggest fan. I think she
played this song and others at her wedding.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
It is such a jam.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
It's a really good song.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Yeah, add it to your playlist, kids, run Away. It's
the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
All right, let's wrap this thing up. It's the Thursday show,
very busy as always, the Best Summer Ever. The weekend
version wrapped up with two shows that you let this week.
We send a bunch of people there and they will
even talkbacks from the show or just even talkbacks to
say thank you and you know what, you're welcome.
Speaker 10 (33:45):
Hi, guys, thank you so much for sending me to
the Weekend last night. It was so much fun. It
was worth it to get a babysitter, and I just
wanted to thank you guys so much because it was
a blast, and Kayo was okay and I got to
(34:05):
hear some of my favorite Weekend songs.
Speaker 5 (34:08):
So thank you.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
That's a big night out right there, huge, huge, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
He crushed it both nights. I'm sad I missed it,
but I was living vicariously through all the pictures and videos.
Oh yeah, what you can see on the Kiss Went
Away Instagram. So as we say goodbye to the Weekend,
the Best Summer Ever continues with the Mega Match game
that kicks off eight ten Monday morning. We announced it
this morning. We're talking prizes like a thousand bucks. How
about a flyaway to see Gracie Abrams in LA and
(34:35):
also here in Boston. How about a year of free
movies Showcase Cinemas. Come on the Mega Match.
Speaker 15 (34:40):
Game is their Good morning morning crew, you made my
day today when you said the Match Game was coming
back next week. I love this game and I'm sure
my blood pressure will be elevated next week because I
get so annoyed when people call in and guess when
they're not paying attention, especially like when numbers have been
revealed and it should be so easy to win, and
(35:02):
then they waste this guess Yeah, eight.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Ten Monday morning. Not just the match game, the Mega
Match Game. Oh yeah, yeah, it's gonna be big. Do
not miss it. Also this morning, we had Catherine Loftus
on to break down the Karen Reid trials as it
comes to an end. The jury is going to have
this case very soon. But Catherine says the defense did
a very good job.
Speaker 12 (35:23):
The first trial. They really presented most of that case
through cross examination of the Kamwalt's witnesses. This time they
really put on much more of a substantial case themselves.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
You know, the witnesses.
Speaker 12 (35:33):
Doctor Lapisada doctr Russell, the two ACA witnesses.
Speaker 4 (35:36):
So I think overall the defense case went in very well.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
So yeah, the jury could have the case as early
as tomorrow and of course next week, depending on what happens.
We'll have Catherine on to wrap this thing up. It's
a big week, yeah, and she takes all your questions
and comments about the case. So that's why we have
our attorney expert, Catherine Loftus on the show. And finally
this morning we have Tim Talks Books on. Tim Talks Books.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
That's his name, right, yeah, Tim, Yeah, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Tim runs the Nantucket Book Festival, with which Billy Costa
and Jenny Johnson are a part of. Billy's leaving the
show today he's flying down. What time a you're gonna
be on a little stage there.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
I don't know exactly what time. I after about two
o'clock this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Yeah, And most of the events are free, so you
can go if you're going to be to Nantucket freely.
Speaker 11 (36:23):
The majority of the events are free. You can hop
on the ferry today or Friday or Saturday or Sunday,
walk up the street to the Methodist Church at Center Street,
and you have a full day of author events that
you can enjoy free of charge.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
It's so great.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Yeah, we'll have a discussion about the book about the
culinary industry in New England and it's going to be good. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
So you'll be off tomorrow, but you'll be checking in
from Nantucket. You can let us know how the event
went today. Absolutely definitely. But yeah, big shout out to
Tim Talks Books.
Speaker 9 (36:55):
I am dying laughing listening to Billy talk to Tim
about the book, because it.
Speaker 6 (37:01):
Just sounds like he wants to yell Catalina Wine.
Speaker 11 (37:05):
Nick Sir.
Speaker 6 (37:06):
I couldn't help myself.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
Good luck, Billy, little stepbrother's reference there movie all right.
All that and more can be found on the Billion
Lisa Podcasts, which, by the way, we put up a
new episode seven days a week. You can get that
podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (37:24):

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Just starts Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
And I want to say Happy Father's Day to everybody
out there and be nice to dad. Do something special
for dad. It's Father's Day, this coming Sunday, Okay.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Take care of Dad.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Yeah, the Mighty one is up next, and I think
he's ready to go. I think we swring open the doors,
let us go,
