Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, welcome back and Happy Friday. This is such
a special segment on the Billy and at Lisa Morning Show.
I don't know if you've seen the show Love on
the Spectrum on Netflix by the way, currently trending number
seven on Netflix in terms of TV shows. And we've
got a buddy of ours, Matt Shecher, who works down
the hall our sister station, WBZ News Radio. Matt, good

(00:22):
to see you again.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, good to see you, Billy, Lisa, Winnie justin.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
H Matt, I'm going to say it on the air.
You are one of the best journalists there is out
there right now. You are amazingly gifted means so, and
you landed on a story and you found Parry Kim
because Parry Kim is local and somehow landed on the show. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
This is like two years ago.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I was doing a story over at Porter Square on
the Red Line and this character came up to me
with so much personality, so much passion for the MBTN.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I was like, this is amazing.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Story didn't end up making it to the air for
one reason or another, but I held onto that footage
for years and like, gosh, I hope I can meet
this person again and like share her story, do something special.
One thing leads to another. I'm watching the trailer for
Love on the Spectrum season three, and I'm like, there
she is.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Right, are in studio, PARI. Good to see you, honey,
Good to see you too.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
How you doing so good? Good so far. We're gonna
get you a nice hot breakfast.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Oh my gosh, thank you. I really feel you. Celebrity,
If you.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Don't mind, justin, can we play some of match report
with Parry?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Oh? Are you part of the news?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Oh my god, what's uck? What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Hey, I'm Matt Sheerer from WVZ News Radio.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Okay, I'm Parry Can. I'm a huge fan of the MBTA.
I just want to say they see us. Thank you
so much for giving me a great way to get
around Boston without the cars. I just feel like free,
like it can go anywhere. And I wish everyone loved
the t as much as I do.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
So that happened back in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Oh my god, it's like an underground kingdom.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I was working on a totally unrelated story and that
self proclaimed tea princess showed up like a party Crasher
was so chill that.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
You ford get to use that footage.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
But I always wondered what became of that purple princess
known as Parry.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
And then one day I was watching TV.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
I'm Parry, I'm twenty two years old.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Parry had been chosen for the hit Netflix DOCKU series
Love on the Spectrum.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Wow, well, Parry, we know how Matt got the story
through perseverance. How did you end up on Love on
the Spectrum.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
So what happened was someone I know from the team
music called it's a great chill, It's loco. You should
totally see it at the Rockwell Beater Davis Square. She
sent me a link on Instagram for a casting call
for season three, and so I looked at that and
then I emailed the producers and set up an interview

(02:46):
on Zoom. So that went well, and then as minute
after the interview ended, I literally got a call back
saying they want to fall through to the next step.
Things went from there and you could say the rest
is history.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Wow, and everything's going viral up to an including your piece.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
Matt.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
That's right, Yeah, I just hit a million views last night.
A million last night yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Oh that's cool. Yeah, that's incredible. I know just a
day later.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
No, but again, it's just all because Perry is just
such a lovable, fun character. Like if you've watched the
show The Perry that you see on TV. I can
confirm and you all can confirm now in this room
is the Perry you getting?

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Really it's authentic? Yeah, absolutely, thank you. I'm still not
really clear Matt on how you encountered Parry for the
first time. Were you out looking for her? No, she
came up to me.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
I was doing a story about the escalator and I'll
just say it. The escalator into Border Square, if you know,
it's like the longest eleator in the world, and when
it goes out, people have to walk up those massive staircases.
So I was just talking to random people and she
happened to be one of them, and she walked up
those really long staies to me and we were all
out of breath, like, how you doing, I'm good, I'm good,

(03:54):
and so it was great. And then the funny thing was,
so when I was setting up this follow up interview,
I want to do something special, so I asked the MBTA,
I'm like, look, she has had every MBTA experience ever
at this point probably been to every station. Is there
somewhere else we can take her? And they said, yeah,
we have this training facility that I guarantee you she's
never seen. We've got a blue line train down there,
a green line, Silver line. She can sit in the

(04:15):
driver's seat, push all the buttons, and that was gonna
be it, but I guess they had to get approval
at the state level.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And that's sure. Governor Moura heally found out about this.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
And I've never told you this, Perry, but apparently she's
a big fan of yours, and so she was. She
was originally going to try to be there too, but
she had to back out. She's a very busy governor.
So I said, well, man, is there somebody else, another
public figure who would want to come?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
I was like, what about the mayor, Mayor Wu? And
of course she was down And I had no idea
that Perry was such a Mayor Wu fan until we
were riding the tea to meet her, when I said,
what's your dream MBTA experience? And she said riding the
tea with Mayor Wu, having no idea that we were
on our way.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
To meet her whow and you got to ride the
tea with Mayor Wu. Parry is so cool.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Oh my gosh, I just can't believe it. It's like,
I guess stars struck around here. And I love how
she's pro poly trance and she's doing so much good
for Boston and I really think it's on her tap.
He was the mayor of her.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
City and you got to meet her baby.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Yeah, so cute. Even had a funny moment where she
said she had to change their folds because they had
a little poops.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
I guess.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
It probably happened while we were while she was waiting
for us and shout out to the mayor for like,
you know, being very generous with our time. Things were
not running on schedule for on our end.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
So we got there. But she was so cool. She
waited around and she met Perry and it was awesome.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
And your other dream, I think Parry is Taylor Swift.
How's that going?

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Oh my gosh. I would do anything to meet her.
She's my I do. I've loved ter ever since I
was little. Her music resonates to me so much. How
she's listening, I hope she'll take notes to maybe come
or follow me or no on social media. She does
have a house in Road Island. My gosh, it's so pretty.
I've been right near there. Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
And by the way, the Billy and Lisa Morning Show
is kind of a big deal, and iHeart is kind
of a big company. Who knows she might hear about
you making an appearance here and wanting to meet her,
and knowing Taylor Swift, she could very well reach out
to us and make something happen. I'm not promising about it.
Who knows.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
I would love that my dreams to just come true.
My life would be complete a bit. Oh my god,
people fangirl when I followed them back on TikTok on Instagram.
That will be me with Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
So, how has your life changed since meeting Matt Schure
and going on Netflix.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Oh wow, it's just it's incredible. It's like overnight. My
followers have been like boom skyrocketing. Like I went from
like eight K followers before the shelter now almost one
hundred and fifty k I think last I checked them
currently at one hundred and thirty nine K. My TikTok's
gone from three hundred falls to like fifty one k.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
Wow, incredible one.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Of my videos are actually now two of them have
reached a million views of just ones of me. That's crazy.
I'm just freaking out.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Like, oh my gosh, Now do you DM most of
your followers? Do you communicate with them at all?

Speaker 4 (07:19):
I try to get back to them. I have so
many requests, like I'm trying to answer all of them.
But yes, I like to DM with my fans and
interact with them to just show them how greatful I am.
All their love and support. It means the world to me.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
How about with the Netflix show, have you gotten to
meet a lot of special people and have they become
friends or Oh?

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Yes? Before aired, I got to go to LA for
the premiere of it and I got to meet all
the main participants. It was a dream. Also the producers too,
and some of the Netflix pr people.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Is really okay, you were on a Hollywood red carpet?

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Yeah, well except it was blue for Hautis of Awareness.

Speaker 7 (07:59):
They do.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
It's so right.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Netflix is amazing.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
They are Oh my gosh, yeah you follow me on Instagram?
Not bracking, but yeah, who follows Netflix?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
They've got like fifty four million followers.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Right, So Perry Harry think's going with Tina.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
Oh terrific. Oh my gosh, She's just the best. She's
made my life complete. She's like the other half of me.
She's like the Green Line extension to buy Harder, the
Amtrak to my commuter rail. I say, she wears blue
and I wear purple, so it's like perfect, It is perfect.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Oh, I love that for you guys. You guys seem
so I guess we couple.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yes, she shares my energy and vibes. And she's outspoken,
an advocate for things she believes and and fights far
and I love that about heart. That can just be
myself around her. I don't have to try to hide
anything I love.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
I don't know if you have all seen the show yet,
but you know, I'm sorry for the spoilers, but Harry
is like the only one on the show who like
got it right on the first date. Yeah, where's everyone
else had to go through some duds and be like, sorry,
there's no connection.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Whereas Parry and Tina it was immediate.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Sparks love at first side.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
It's cool for you, but were like, come on, we
need drama.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
So unlike The Bachelor and the Bachelorette. Your love is real,
like this is lasting.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Yes, that's what I love about the show. There's no drama,
no cattiness, no like standards, Like it's all just refreshing
and authentic, Like we just get to be our self
and tower story on their own terms. And I think
that's what makes the show stand out such a fan favor,
Like it's refreshing in the world with so much drama,
like to just have something where he can shine and

(09:35):
everyone can feel good, like people you want to root for.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
I gotta tell you, Parry, you are such a special person.
You light up a room when you walk in.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
You're so kind.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
But I have to ask why the tea all the things?

Speaker 4 (09:49):
And do you have a favorite route?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Yes, So ever since I moved to Boston, I feel
like I've had so much independence because I don't want
to drive, and it's so glad I don't have to
because obviously we know I'm not driving in Boston. You
like why she even tries look at the traffic episode.

Speaker 8 (10:07):
True.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah, so I have independents. I could go on buses
and trains and just get to where I need to be.
I don't have to wait for someone to just pick
me up. It's just amazing and oh my gosh, all
the friends I've made and people I met. It's really
opened up a whole new stut doors for me. Some
of my favorite routes, so I really have the Red Line,
it's gone much faster, and you can't beat the view

(10:29):
over the lawn Fellow Bridge, and obviously the commuter rail
twos it's purple. That's my favorite column.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
How are you not on the MBTA's payroll? You should
definitely be charge of marketing and advertising. And Matt, I'm
guessing you through your story, I'm guessing you've found a
friend for life with absolutely.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yeah, for sure. She's so much fun to hang out with.
And I can't wait to go on more tea ventures
with you. Sometimes me too. Yeah, we'll bring Tina along
next time.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Awesome us the other tea prit It's so funny.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
So Tina I went to have after watching the show,
I went to follow her and uh, a little unbeknownst
to me, we had messaged over the years, because I
guess she was already following me, sending me like story ideas.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
So now I'm gonna yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
So now we're gonna actually set something up where we
do an interview because she's interesting. She she uh has
a visual impairment, which she talks about on the show,
and she's got a story as well about accessibility in
the Wow, it's cool.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
So I'll tell you what, Parry. Uh, when Tina comes
to town. Uh, we as a radio program, will see
to it that you go to the concert of your
choice within resal, possibly Taylor, I said, possibly, Taylor. Uh,
when you'll get on that.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Right, we'll make it happen.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
We'll make something.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, We're gonna make something happen, especially your first date
in Boston with Tina. Okay, we'll set it.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Up for Oh my gosh, Yes, I really hope I
get meat Taylor me the world, Like that's been dream
ever since i've I was little, and people off said like, oh,
it will probably never happen, But I want to prove
them wrong, Like impossible is not the same as difficult,
Like I know other fans that matter. I know it
can happen even if it's hard. I'm not giving up
because look I where I am now, Like I never

(12:15):
thought it would be on Netflix on a docy reality
TV series, Like but I was little, I just I
never knew like that all this is possible.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
I don't forget anything's possible.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
The last half whole kind of person, so optimistic, like
I hold on to my dreams. I clutch those stars.
I don't like Oh, even though some people are like
it's hard or more pessimistic, I just don't give up.
I'm stubborn like that, but I think it's for the
best and I'm happy because I keep persevering till I
get what I want.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Well, you know what, Parry, we can all learn from you,
and thank you for coming on to share your story.
And Matt, thanks for finding you.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
You've been terrific, Hulse.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
It's been amazing, great opportunity that from you.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Don't worry, I will fall.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
In the morning.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
And the entertainment is seconds to wait a couple of
talkbacks justin.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
I mean, I think we and everyone else are still
reeling over that segment we just did with Parry.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Amazing from Love on the Spectrum.

Speaker 8 (13:28):
That was just it was a really special.

Speaker 9 (13:30):
Moment a Morning Crew. I just want to say that
the interview that you just had with Perry was so
refreshing and honestly so feel good and such a great,
great way to start the weekend and our Friday, So
thank you so much and hopefully.

Speaker 8 (13:54):
Oh you never know. I wore my Taylor Swift shirt
for her.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yes you did.

Speaker 8 (13:57):
Yeah, she's a big Swiftie. So it's gonna be posted
on the podcast. You'll be able to find it on
the iHeartRadio apter starts Billy and Lisa in the Morning.

Speaker 10 (14:05):
Wow the Entertainment Update with the Billy constat.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Okay Seltz in the Magic Game three in Orlando tonight.
Seltzer up two games zip No Jason Tatum Tonight Game four,
also in Orlando, Sunday. Meantime, the NFL Draft got started yesterday.
The Patriots got six foot six, three hundred and twenty
pounder Will Campbell from LSU, the fourth pick.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Draft.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
The New England Patriots like Will Campbell.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, Will Campbell, the big offensive tackle now a New
England Patriots.

Speaker 9 (14:42):
It's an honor to wear the Patriots logo, to represent
that organization, that city. It'll be everything I ever wanted,
and I'm gonna give him everything I got.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
This guy sounds very likable, doesn't.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
He He does.

Speaker 11 (14:55):
He's gonna protect Drake may I love it.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
But we found out this morning he has very short arm.
Don't know where that came from.

Speaker 11 (15:02):
Like proportionally to his size.

Speaker 8 (15:04):
Yeah, they're thirty three inches and typically they're longer for
offensive tackles, so they're saying that they might move into guard.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Oh okay, yeah, yeah, you need the long arms to
grab and wrap. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (15:14):
Yeah, you do's t rex arms?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Oh okay, I means Miami quarterback Cam Warred the number
one pick overall. He went to the Titans. Heisman winner
Travis Hunter went to the Jaguars second pick. Last night
after draft Philly.

Speaker 12 (15:30):
Did you see that Deon Sanderson had this huge draft party.

Speaker 6 (15:33):
Didn't get drafted.

Speaker 12 (15:35):
Like it was I mean it probably was a million
dollars the amount of monum they put into like like set,
it was like a set design, Like it was crazy.

Speaker 6 (15:42):
He didn't get drafted.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
So he's just like Neon Dion.

Speaker 6 (15:45):
Yeah, and it's crazy.

Speaker 12 (15:46):
His record was like mid like five hundred when he
was in Colorado and there I retire his jersey.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
So big part was he expecting to get there.

Speaker 8 (15:54):
That's what the party was for.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Wow, Yeah, that's humiliating. Yeah, time to go home. Everybody
round one, wrap this up. Everybody get Out, Get Out.
You gotta love Tom Brady as humble as it gets.
During his YouTube series, he was asked to who he
thinks the five most talented arms in the NFL are

(16:18):
or were, and here's what he see.

Speaker 13 (16:20):
San Reno Aaron Rodgers, saying that most people would certainly
say those two. I'd say Brett Farv I would probably
say in this heart, and I think I might put
Matt Stafford up there.

Speaker 8 (16:32):
I'm missing a lot of people.

Speaker 13 (16:34):
I mean, I think of Jeff George Randall, Cunningham, Michael Vick,
Josh Allen. Those guys are a step above people have
great arms.

Speaker 8 (16:41):
And then I think you have the.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Elitey lead arms. Never mentioned himself, arguably the greatest arm
of all time.

Speaker 8 (16:48):
Humility.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Yeah. He also left out Peyton Manning, Patrick Mahomes and
John Elway. He did, yeah, but to not mention himself.
That is so cool, so cool. Saturday Night Live Out
with the remaining lineups for Season fifty. Quintin Brunson will
host May third, Benson Boone will be the musical guest.
Walton Goggins from the White Lotus will host May tenth,

(17:11):
Arcade Fire will be the musical guest, and then Scarlett Johanson.
I think she's already hosted six or seven times. She's
gonna do it again May seventeenth. Bad Bunny will be
the musical guest, and it is New Music Friday. I
mentioned Benson Boone. Is he in your lineup this morning?

Speaker 8 (17:26):
Justine?

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (17:27):
You know it? Mystical Magic the Somity teased at Coachella.
It's been all over TikTok, all over reels. I'm sure
you've seen it used in videos, but the official release
was today.

Speaker 14 (17:38):
Ice Cream taking off your blue j instancing at the movies.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
Because I think it's be a good summer song.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
I think it's a great song either saying maybe song
of summer.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
Right, Yeah, it's up there.

Speaker 8 (17:58):
Good been a list all right?

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (18:00):
Well you know you hear it first right here on
New Music Friday. Also knew this week Chaboozy and Jelly
Roll teaming up the songs called Amen.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Somebody say, tranform me kill say it out and You're
still okay sleep. Somebody said us this because the bar
shut down and fuss not going in, soody working in.
Somebody said brand for me.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Yeah, I love Joey.

Speaker 8 (18:34):
I like that.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
That's my song.

Speaker 7 (18:35):
Of Summer.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
I like that. That's a good one.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (18:36):
Yeah, you're a big fan of sh boomy.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
Someone called me up another Shadows.

Speaker 8 (18:45):
Yeah it's the same.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
It's the same it is. You know what it works?

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Yeah? Like really is the same?

Speaker 11 (18:51):
Nobody does it works?

Speaker 5 (18:52):
I like it.

Speaker 11 (18:52):
I don't know. I like the lyrics of this one.

Speaker 6 (18:55):
We love Shaboozie. He was super nice. We saw him
last year. He was at Kisconsin.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
He's six foot eight. Yeah, big dude. Big Jelly rolls
on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night talking about all the
incredible weight he's lost. I've been thinking about ways to
make it sound cool, but I can't. I'm eating a
lot of protein and vegetables of walking.

Speaker 8 (19:12):
That's what I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
That's what you've been to do.

Speaker 8 (19:15):
How much does he mind me asking how much you've lost?

Speaker 1 (19:18):
We're approaching the two hundred pound march. I would guess
that I have lost an entire Jimmy Kimmel or two
humans for sure. For sure. Hey, remember when Nikki Glazer
host of the Golden Globes earlier this year, she took
a shot at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco. Well, that's

(19:38):
what she does. But they were sitting right in the audience.

Speaker 15 (19:40):
Selena Gomez is here double nominee tonight for Amelia Perez
and only Murders. And she's here tonight with her new
fiance Benny Blanco. Yes, and Benny Blanco is here because
of the genie who granted him that wish man lucky guy.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Yeah, you have to imagine the Gold Globes is like
a sit down dinner. It's unlike most of the other
award shows. So half the people were laughing and half
the people were just kind of hiding their face in
their hand. But Nikki kind of walked it back here.

Speaker 16 (20:10):
It is I've never looked at them and actually thought that, Like,
I'm like, I feel like she won too.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
With it, Like I think he's really cool.

Speaker 16 (20:18):
So because that joke didn't actually come from a mean place,
I felt like it was okay for me at least
it was okay for me to say.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
And I texted him before.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Now that was at the time one hundred gala last
night at least of both Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni
were there.

Speaker 11 (20:34):
But the big story is that Blake Lively made this
speech last night where she talked a little bit about
the drama. She mentioned it, but then she went into
a whole thing about her mother, and she shared a
really horrible thing that happened to her mother. She was
a victim of domestic abuse of rape. And people are
sort of questioning the timing of the whole thing that
why didn't she share some of this when she was

(20:56):
doing the press stour for announcer to us, But I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Well, here's some of what she's said.

Speaker 6 (21:02):
I say more.

Speaker 7 (21:02):
I want to warn that I will speak about tonight
covers trauma, So please feel free to step away from me.
My life was influenced most by my mother sitting here tonight,
Willie Elaine Mcalvin. She's an eternal optimist, and she's always
leaving me messages hoop in and holler in and saying

(21:25):
life's just a bowl of cherries. It's true always, and
she'll get your number tonight. She'll leave you those messages,
so please be warned.

Speaker 17 (21:34):
But at her urging and her unwavering bravery, she wanted
me to share with you that she is a survivor
of the worst crime someone can commit against a woman.
I've watched her conceal Hurrah and undeserved, shame my entire life,
so as her daughter being asked to share this today

(21:54):
is monumental.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Who is the one singular woman in the crowd?

Speaker 6 (22:01):
I think a publicist her call that.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Ayt least the new season. If you started last night
and you watched I did.

Speaker 11 (22:07):
I watched the first episode. It's so good. He's back
in New York. I don't want to give too much,
but the bookstore is open again.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Oh, the original bookstore with the back open a box
in the basement.

Speaker 11 (22:18):
Yep, WHOA, You're gonna really like this season?

Speaker 6 (22:22):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (22:22):
And did I hear that? The Golden Bachelor Gary has
a new woman in his life.

Speaker 11 (22:28):
He has a new love. She's a retired teacher. She
sent him a message on Facebook. They got together because
she's from a town where near where he's from.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
It in Indiana.

Speaker 12 (22:39):
He's hope if you're an older person, the most unappealing
man can get somebody, so you can too.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Here's the interesting thing about Gary. He's very attractive, he is,
but very annoying.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
He's very unattractive. I think his personality, very.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Level of annoyance wipes out the attractiveness.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
He's a handsome man. Yeah, very unattractive.

Speaker 1 (23:01):

cop getting the tapass. I'll see you on the t Parry.

Speaker 17 (23:51):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one O eight Studios.

Speaker 11 (23:54):
We're back with a Villy and Lisa in the Morning Kiss.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Hey guys, welcome back to the Big Friday Show, The
Billy and Lisa Morning Show. Well documented on this show
over the years, Right, Lisa, I have some sort of
a small passion for the Lifetime Movie Network.

Speaker 11 (24:08):
You do, and that's why this story is so perfect,
And it's actually includes someone that used to work for iHeartMedia.

Speaker 6 (24:15):
Yeah, our friends.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Absolutely so. Tonight at eight o'clock a new movie will
premiere on the Lifetime Movie Network and our old friend Heidi,
who worked in sales at Kiss Want to Wait for
Years somehow, is in the movie with her daughter Dahlia.

Speaker 19 (24:33):
Hi to you there, Hi Billy, I'm here.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
How did this happen?

Speaker 19 (24:38):
Well, it was very exciting, and thank you first of
all for having me on the show today.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Guys, you welcome her.

Speaker 19 (24:43):
Dahlia does a lot of acting. And this actually took
place three years ago, in twenty twenty two. It was
an open casting on somebody's Facebook looking for some last
minute extras for a movie that was filming the next
morning in Ipswich, mass No, they don't tell you anything
about it.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Are both you and your daughter featured in the movie?

Speaker 20 (25:08):
Are?

Speaker 19 (25:08):
I did not know I was going to be featured
in the movie until I got there and they needed
some more extras.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
We saw you.

Speaker 11 (25:15):
You're standing next to like a picnic table or something.

Speaker 19 (25:18):
Yes, I was Amy Smart's best friend of the movie,
and unfortunately I had more FaceTime than Dahlia that day,
so some little seven year old wasn't happy with me.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
But well, did you get to meet Neil. He's in
the cast too.

Speaker 19 (25:30):
I did not get to meet Neil. He was not
on set that day. He wasn't filming that day on
the farm. But I met Amy Smart, who could not
have been nicer and kinder to everybody. Matthew Davis, zaye
There was a bunch of big names in the cast.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Oh, Billy Zayin is one of my favorite actors. He
was in The Titanic, by the way. He was the
creepy guy that yeah, domineering boyfriend or so to speak,
or a husband to be. So where was a shot?
Because whatever I've seen, the house looks beautiful. Was that
your home? I wish?

Speaker 19 (26:01):
I wish it was a large farm in Ipswich. And
that again, they don't even tell you where you're going.
They have you meet in a parking lot and they
picked up on a van and take you to this
undisclosed location. But it was a beautiful farm out in
Ape Switch and it was ninety four degrees that day
and we were on the farm for nine hours shooting
just a couple of scenes.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Yeah. Now, to be clear, Heidi, the mission that day
was for your seven year old daughter, Dahalia to be
in the lifetime movie, and she's not in it, but
somehow you are.

Speaker 19 (26:34):
Well, she's in it, very very slightly.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
You see her beautiful.

Speaker 19 (26:37):
Long locks and her beautiful profile. But unfortunately Dahlia wound
up on the cutting room floor.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Oh boy.

Speaker 19 (26:43):
But you can actually hear me singing in the movie,
which is very, very very sad for everybody.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah, I've heard you sing before, Heidi. It's just really
not very good. Yeah, So does Dollia mind that she
never got in it? And you are upset with me?

Speaker 19 (27:02):
This is her big movie. This was her first feature film.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Oh my god, and mom got it. So are you guys?
Are you guys going to Oh good? It's best that
she's in the Bahamas in the movie premiere, because every
time she sees the movie, it's going to be a
problem for you. So are you gonna have a viewing
party tonight?

Speaker 19 (27:25):
Sure? Absolutely, Well, we did see it already, our family
saw it, but we will certainly watch it again.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Now I understand. The plot line is a woman is
hog tied in her own home.

Speaker 19 (27:39):
Well, it's a vacation rental Amy Smart is a single
mom and somehow she salted and tied up in the
home and she has to piece together clues of all
the guests that has stayed there to figure with.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Oh, so it's like Clue. It's like it's like Clue
who died kind of a thing. Great, Oh, I'm watching
it for I'm all over the Lifetime Movie Network. Now
I need to know Amy Smart any relation to Jeane Smart.

Speaker 19 (28:07):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Yeah, I'm not sure. It's actually a good Hollywood question.
What's the name of the movie, so everybody can look
forward on Lifetime tonight.

Speaker 19 (28:14):
So the movie is called Held Hostage in My House,
Very to the point, very to.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
The point, hog Tide and Held Hostage in My Own Home,
featuring Heidi Maranio.

Speaker 19 (28:28):
Watch the birthday on mute the.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Birthday party scene and look for the woman near the
picnic table.

Speaker 19 (28:35):
Correct.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Okay, hey, do we miss you here at iHeart and
at kiss want to wait and give our love to
your husband, Darryl.

Speaker 19 (28:42):
Guys, take care, thanks so much, Bill.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
Would say, moron, alright, something to watch this weekend.

Speaker 4 (28:54):

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Kiss when I wait, justin talkback.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Leftovers. We got a lot of them, Let go get them.

Speaker 14 (29:00):
Hey, guys, it's Melissa the dog Mother and peebd I

Pause Foundation, a nonprofit five and one C three charity organization.

animal control officers that I help. I taken the strays,

Speaker 8 (29:19):

we are hosting a fundraiser at Village Bar and Grill
and Everett. We've got some awesome prizes, live music. Come

a good time.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
It's right down the street and never come on, let's go.

Speaker 8 (29:44):
Yeah perfect.

Speaker 17 (29:45):
Hi everyone, just finishing up my vacation down at Ocean's
Edge for school vacation.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
Having an awesome time. But I wanted to tell you
when we.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
First got here and I was looking through the little.

Speaker 21 (29:57):
Kitchen area, been a cupboard, and I found a blender,
and all I could.

Speaker 4 (30:03):
Think was, OMG, white lotus.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Using a blender. She's so right by the way Ocean
Edge does an amazing thing during vacation week for kids
down there. They have all kinds of activities and Harry
Potter stories and everything. It's really cool.

Speaker 8 (30:21):
I've been saying I want to go for school vacation
for about three years. We just never actually book it.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
It's so fabulous in the beach there is so nice.

Speaker 8 (30:29):
All right, I'm on it.

Speaker 21 (30:30):
I don't know what screams f my life more than
me taking my six year old out of school yesterday
early seeing it at doctor's appointment. However, we were at
Family Park because it was beautiful, and somehow we unintentionally
got on the jumbo shown like two or three times,
to the point that people were screenshotting me on TV

(30:52):
and sending it to me.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
So she said she was going to a doctor's It wasn't.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
That, I'm not sure, but ended up on the jumbo
John Yeah, total, yeah, why not?

Speaker 5 (31:04):
What up?

Speaker 8 (31:05):
Morning crew?

Speaker 3 (31:05):
No?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
With a caddy here.

Speaker 7 (31:07):
Just played what's probably going to be my last eighteen
holes of golf out here in Arizona before I.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Head back east.

Speaker 8 (31:14):
On the front, I shot a lot on the back,
which was actually the same holes.

Speaker 7 (31:20):
It was slow.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
I shot seventeen.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Strokes better, which if you play golf.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
That's a heck of a lot. So there's some inspiration there.

Speaker 8 (31:28):
Yeah, never give up, never give up, never give up.
You can bring it back. Yep.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
And you're coming home.

Speaker 8 (31:34):
If you ever need some tips, Noah, you know who
to call.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
And now golf tips with Riley done a bit for
maximum spin on your chip shots.

Speaker 7 (31:45):
Take the club slightly outside, non inside, and cut down
into the left.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Kids run away.

Speaker 11 (31:52):
It is the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa
in the morning.

Speaker 8 (31:56):
So good news, bad news on this Friday. The bad
news is we call the name at seven ten for
that brand new car from the government. No one called.
That's the bad news. The good news is more chances
for you. Yes, two ten and four to ten, your
last two shots at a brand new car. And it's
going down tomorrow, big party, big giveaway event at McGovern
in Lemonster.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Somebody gets a new car tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (32:18):
This is huge, so make sure you enter it. It's
really easy. It's really just a two step process. You
go to the kiss Instagram the pin post at the top,
You enter and you listen and win. And you've got
to be listening. Two ten and four ten. You can listen,
you know in your car or on the iHeartRadio app,
which is free to download. So there's really no excuse.
I'm just saying busy show. Besides that, on a Friday,
we had a good topic time. One of our listeners

(32:40):
needed recommendations. She's moving back to Boston after ten years
and needs to know, like, you know, where to go?
What should she do?

Speaker 10 (32:46):
I can tell the caller where not to go. Don't
come to the south Shore. There's not much to do
down here, Whinnie. I know you love the south Shore,
but I am bored to tears.

Speaker 6 (33:00):
She's friends or something. Should I help her out? Sitting
round with There's plenty of things to do? What is
she pitching?

Speaker 8 (33:06):
Okay, Lisa's house.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Yeah, I have fun. I have a great house.

Speaker 8 (33:11):
Yeah cool, Yeah, there you go. Yeah what else?

Speaker 7 (33:15):
Oh?

Speaker 20 (33:15):
Good morning everyone. So the woman coming back to Boston,
she definitely needs to take a field trip to Sully's
and have a hotdog, some Frenchies and ice cream and
just enjoy the view and people watch and there's always
a good time when you go to Castle Islands.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Yeah, Sully's and Southea is great. They've got a great beach.
There a nice, nice walking area of the Fort is
there so she could check that out.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
That's a great idea.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Sack Southe in general has come a long way over
the last ten years.

Speaker 8 (33:44):
Absolutely absolutely. On a sadder note, we started the show
off by giving a shout out to the Sanger family
in Toppsfield. They lost their mom this week. She had
an accident, you know, while hiking. If there is a
gofund me page up.

Speaker 22 (33:58):
Good morning. I'm just calling on the half of the
Stanger family of tops Field. They tragically lost their mom
and wife this past week when she fell hiking, and
I just want to thank everyone for all the love
and support and just we just have an amazing community
And if anybody does want to donate, we set up

(34:18):
a GoFundMe to help the family. You can find it
on GoFundMe dot com for Carrie Sayinger. Thank you so much,
we love you.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
What a tragedy.

Speaker 8 (34:27):
It's really just awful. Four children, husband, whole family left behind.
The go fund me is on my Instagram story. You
can find that at just a beezy if you want
to donate.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
And doing what you love most yeah, hiking, hiking, Yeah, yeah,
just awful.

Speaker 8 (34:41):
On a different note, we had Parry on from Love
on the Spectrum in the studio with Matt Shara. There's
a video going viral right now of Matt schera from
WBZ and his relationship, his history with her. He knew
her before he met her, before she was on the show.
But anyway, she loves the MBTA loves it. And she
told us, what ever, since.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
I moved to Boston, I feel like I've had so
much independence because I don't want to drive, and it's
so glad I don't have to because obviously we know
I'm not driving in Boston. You like why she even tries.

Speaker 8 (35:09):
She is just so pure, amazing, and we isolated the
whole the whole segment. It's on the on the on
the iHeart app just starts brilliantly. Sit in the morning,
you'll find it right there. You gotta gotta listen. Also
this morning before we go, the Benson Boone song came
out today, Mystical Magical. We had that new music Friday.

Speaker 7 (35:28):
The new Benson Boone sounds like the Let's get physical song,
And I mean that in the best way.

Speaker 8 (35:34):
That's an interesting thing. Yeah, let's take a listen. Oh yeah, okay,
that's Benson.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Now imagine if Benson Boone realized he stole Olivia Newton
John's Let's Get Physical so cool.

Speaker 8 (35:56):
Right, Well, you could mash those together.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
You could.

Speaker 6 (35:59):
He has like the eighties poor mustache.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
He that's the whole thing.

Speaker 6 (36:03):
So it's perfect.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
Yeah that jumpsuit.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
Who knows, Maybe he's still watching the Let's Get Physical
videos and doing aerobics with it.

Speaker 8 (36:11):
Wow. Okay. Well you can hear Benson and all the
new music from today on the iHeartRadio app and also
on the app Billy and Lisa Show podcast Listen. We
had an insane week. We had Tom Brady on the show.
We had Juliana from The Bachelor on the show. We
had Parry this Morning, and Billy was named one of
Boston's most influential people. All on the podcast iHeartRadio app

(36:31):
Search Billy and Lisa in the morning. Some weekend listening for.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
You, crazy crazy week on the show. And by the way,
go Celtics. They're in the playoffs and in Orlando, Florida
all this weekend, Go Red Sox. I believe they're on
the road in the Cleveland. We gotta make room for
the Mighty one. And I gotta tell you this guy
is such a treasure. We are the only place in
America that features the Mighty one, the Mighty McQuinn, and

(36:56):
he's up neck to open the door.
