Speaker 4 (01:03):
We're a cross fly from the boat. I'd say we're
pretty close to both of them. But this has got
a big spread there in Old Kenny.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, you got yourself a peninsula, do you?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I do.

of big family graduations, a lot of advancement in the
Dunovan family.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
But Mark, I don't know if you realize this, but
the few times you've called into the show, you have
developed a big fan base with the Billy and Lisa
Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Well, I didn't know that, but I appreciate that.

I love that guy.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Oh boy, Mark for president.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Oh, I appreciate that I was vice mayor West for
a long time.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Well I was gonna go there.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
So, yeah, I know you ran for vice mayor. Did
you win that election, Mark, I had won.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
That was an appointed position that I was there for
twelve years, is the vice mayor.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
But you did run for office because I remember seeing
the video interview campaign that one.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Yeah, you lost that one.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Any plans on that one can't win them all.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Now you're going to run for office up there in Maine.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
No, I'm just on the download here. Let's tell you,
I'm so loaded. I'm lower than dirt. Mark.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I got to ask you when you're when you leave
Key West?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Who keeps to and I on the ladies and the cathhouse.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Well, I've got a good crew down there.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
I got a couple of the guys that been with
me a while and they do a good job.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
I got to tell you, I'm blessed to have a
good crew down there.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
And Mark, we have a lot of people calling in
all the time saying, Hey, you know what, I'm going
to Key West for vacation. I know uncle Mark has
a place there, so walk us through it. What's your
biggest place in Key West?
Speaker 7 (03:24):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Well, the Red Guarters big. We've probably had one of
the greatest on the East Coast of America rock and
roll venues with our house band, The dirtbags, unbelievable band.
And of course the upstairs is the dance club and
that's huge, and we're actually getting ready to add on
to the property. We're putting in the bar. If any
(03:45):
of your customer or your regular listeners have been out
there to Amsterdam, there's a real famous bar called the
Old Sailor. So we're gonna put the new bar in
downstairs called the Old Sailor, right next to what's called
Captain Tony's, and going to make the upstairs even bigger
and put new bathrooms in.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
So we're really looking forward to that.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Oh, they must be excited about the new bathroom.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
So, but Rix is still there too, right, Mark, Rix
is always Rex is always Rix is there?
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Rix has always been there for some years now.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Everybody goes yeah, absolutely, So describe the menu. What kind
of food you're offering up there? In Key West.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
We got pizza, pep baroni pizza.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
It keeps it simple. It's not a restaurant, it's a bar.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Simple pizza that it's a good thing. When you got
a little buzz on you to sliced to buy and
there you go.
Speaker 8 (04:35):
Nothing better going. I saw ra the Red Garter Mark's
placed there on TV. They were on the TLC network. Really, yeah,
it was featured. They one of the two of the
people on this reality show. I forget what show it was,
maybe you know.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
Mark, No, I can't at this time recall, but yeah,
we got you know, we got a lot of people
that come through the doors.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
That's what it was.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Mark.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I didn't think the cameras were allowed in the red guarter.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
We do how do you say a I don't know
the word I want to use, but a click.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Down version of it.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Version?
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah PG.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Now, Mark, we've got a couple of celebrations here for
you know, Max and for Riley Dunnovan and I know
you're coming in for the big event.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
You're going to be flying private.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Yeah, I got the chapters out there on the pad.
Now I'm getting ready to he low down.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
I got to tell you, I'm very, very proud of
Max and Riley, two young men and doing a great job.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Great.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
You know, Max was up here the other day. I
took him to lunch, and I can't tell you how
proud of I am of that boy. He was just
a real good young man. Make sure you have a
lot of faith in the younger people of today.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yeah, and he really loves you. So that was so
nice that you got great lunch.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Good good, good guy.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
Man.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
He's turning into be a hell of a young man.
I see him there at eighteen, and I think to
myself when I was eighteen and running around down in
Port Lauderdale in that area.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
I'm not going to ask any follow up stories.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
You don't want to know min middle seventies.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
You remember the middle seventies.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Oh yeah, yeah, you do so Mark. At the celebration.
At the celebrations, we might be doing some dancing, how
are you.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yeah, I'm ready. I've been doing some little more exercises. Yeah,
I've been doing my touch of my toes and everything.
Then get my belly out of the way.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Well, we'll see you tomorrow at the lunch.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Oh, you'll see me tonight.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Night night and tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah all right, night flight. It's like a blackhawk.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Yeah, can't wait to see you again.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Uncle.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
Yes, you'd be good and God bless everybody and have
a great I just wanted.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
To say thank you for bringing old uncle Mark on
the show.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
What a segment that was absolutely hysterical.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Thanks for making my morning.
Speaker 9 (07:15):
In the morning.
Speaker 8 (07:20):
You got some talkbacks in there justin Yeah, I made
a little error that you guys didn't just catch that. No,
it's not Friday, it's Friday. It's Thursday. I just want
it to be Friday. Really, it makes me feel good.
But it's only Thursday, and it's nice today. It's gonna
rain tomorrow, I think.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
In the more in the evening. Okay, I'm saying that
because we have a graduation outside tomorrow morning. So I'm
like manifesting decent weather for that.
Speaker 8 (07:43):
You know what. It's gonna be beautiful tomorrow tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yeah, because I think it's gonna rain Friday night into Saturday.
Speaker 8 (07:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, weekend.
Speaker 8 (07:51):
It's gonna be hot though. It's gonna be hot today
and tomorrow, you know what I mean.
Speaker 10 (07:55):
So my kids and I get in the car this
morning to drive to school, and immediately we hear it's huh.
And I turned to them and I say, guys, that's me.
Remember when I called in and I did that it's
cold huh, it's hot huh. So it was nice to
get laughter out of the teenagers so early in the morning.
I hope you guys keep playing it. Have a great date.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
We're going to be saying it a lot today. Everybody
will say, hey, hot, huh. I think it's hot enough? Wow,
boy is it hot?
Speaker 8 (08:21):
Yeah, that's her. It's the same girl.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah cold huh yeah, and it's hot now.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
The entertainment updates with a Billy codstays and a reminder
of the best Summer ever continues on the show this morning.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
You need to be listening on the iHeart app when
you hear a weekend so and don't forget send a
talk back and we'll pick another winner at nine to
ten this morning. Meantime, the new Sabrina Carpenter song Manchild
drops tonight at eight o'clock. We're going to have it
tomorrow morning as part of New Music Friday. Is there
speculation already about this song and who's it about? Is
(08:57):
it definitely about the Eggs?
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Could be about Barry, that's what they're speculating.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Poor Barry. He's going to be victimized when the song
pops at eight o'clock.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
I don't worry about Barry. He's in the new Beatles movie,
so he's doing just fine.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Meantime, the trailer for the Wicked for Good movie hit theaters,
will hit theaters November twenty first, the trailer hit theaters yesterday.
A lot of people showed up just to see the
Gianna went from the with her Too all the way
to a movie theater. Did you pay to get in
to see the Trader?
Speaker 11 (09:30):
That I am not sure about?
Speaker 2 (09:33):
They invited a lot of people to these. I like
their passion. And Gianna told me when she came to
the Gregory Maguire book Club event. Gregory Maguire wrote Wicked.
He's from Conquered and we were with him a couple
of weeks ago. She said it's her go to feel
good movie like it's her like comfort, Comfort movie.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Didn't Gianna show up at the book club dressed up
for the movie and car paraphig sorry.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
She had green sparkle boots on because it's green and
pink and I love that. And she about a lot
of her her own sort of posters and he signed everything.
Gregory was so nice to all of us. Shout out
to him.
Speaker 8 (10:08):
Earlier we were speculating on what would what would what
would happen? So Bill would show up to something like
what's something that would draw Bill to go like to
or somewhere you'd go stand in line. I think it
would be something with boating.
Speaker 11 (10:22):
Yeah, but even that, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
I don't know to move the needle that much to
go to, you know, like I know I'm gonna not
wait in line for a concert or certainly not for
a restaurant. Are you kidding me?
Speaker 8 (10:37):
But what if there was something for the boat that
was so exclusive that you had to go and you
had to wait for it in line. I think you
would do it.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Maybe, like if they were giving away a few of
the you know, latest grated you know, navigational instruments or something.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
You wait in line, you get them free before. Okay, yeah,
I know it sounds boring to you.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
But a fast and that's great I want for your passion.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
I think that would move my needle.
Speaker 8 (11:04):
It's funny that he wants the navigation tools for the boat,
but the boat just stays and anywhere goes anywhere.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
I document the hours on the boat.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
If you got the new navigation quier, maybe you would
go some.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
I know where I'm going.
Speaker 11 (11:22):
You could have just bought a houseboat and called it dead.
Speaker 7 (11:24):
I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
A good point.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
So the trailer actually did pop yesterday and we've got
a clip.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Right like a.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Sea un distant who cans.
Speaker 12 (11:50):
Man.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
I don't know who decided to put those two together,
but that was.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
A genius move.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Their voices are magical and the feels you get the
heart from the two of them. They honestly this is
their dream as actresses too, and you can really feel
it when you watch the movie.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
And they developed a real friendship right during this prontre.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
They did, and Arianna said that this was her dream
for like ten years. She was hoping that they would
give her this role and she got it.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Lisa Dunnovan's dream right now is to sit down and
have another one on one interview with Chris Martin. I
think this is a sign because this morning, since we
started the show and we got wordy, Chris Martin is single.
I look at the video screen right outside of the
studio and every time I walk in, Chris Martin is
on the screen.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
I think that's a sign.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
I also told Billy that there is another little sign
to this that my son Max is going to Brown
next year. And guess whose son goes to Brown. That
would be Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrey's son Moses. No
way he goes to Brown. Yeah, so I might be
seeing him on candy Wow.
Speaker 8 (12:53):
You know what they say some stories right themselves.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yeah, yeah, we're going to have a Max and Moses connection.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
You can. We can talk about that the school. There's
a lot to talk about.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Man, this is a natural one you think about.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
It has to happen.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Well, we remember what happened last time you sat with him.
Speaker 8 (13:07):
Wouldn't incredibly relaxed interview.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
You were just beside yourself.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
We sat for over an hour, you guys, a hour.
Speaker 11 (13:17):
That's a long interview.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
And at the four Seasons.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Yeah, he couldn't get enough now.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
It was just we were talking about politics, we were
talking about everything like we just it was. It was
really fun talking to him because he's a cool guy.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
So again, I'm smart. When is Coldplay coming back?
Speaker 2 (13:33):
It's July mid July at July, two nights. It's a
Tuesday Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
This would be perfect. So the two of you do
the interview when they come to town, right, and then
the two of you rendezvous on the campus of Brown
University with your sons Max and Moses. Oh this is
I'm telling you.
Speaker 13 (13:51):
This is I wonder Moses is like major is maybe
a maximian in a class, or because he's only fresh night.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
He's a freshman, so he'll be a sophomore share. Yeah,
but they'll have classes, potentially have classes together.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
So when does Coldplate come again?
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Mid July to July. It's a Tuesday Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Night, mcab if you're listening, If you don't pull off
this interview, we're never speaking to you again.
Speaker 8 (14:12):
Yeah, he does not have a major yet, according to chat.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Chieh that was doing a deep time on Moses.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (14:18):
His sister, Apple Martin, is a law History in Society
major at Vanderbilt. Wow, he does not have a major.
Speaker 11 (14:26):
Smart kids.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Yeah, this is good.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Both of you have ivy kids. Oh my god, this
is amazing. It hasn't happened already.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
A lot to talk about.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yeah, okay. Benson Boone went on Fallon last night talking
about his tour, which sold out in nine seconds. It
comes to the TD Garden September second.
Speaker 14 (14:44):
This is by far the biggest tour I've ever done,
and it's a big moment for me for people to
just know who I am. You go to the show,
and this is by far the best performance I will
ever up to this point in my life.
Speaker 8 (14:57):
Put on and it's a full on show.
Speaker 14 (14:59):
I'm I even changed my outfit during the show.
Speaker 8 (15:02):
Yeah, that's a big deal.
Speaker 14 (15:04):
But I'm really excited to just put myself into the
world and let people just see who Benson Boone really is.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
The new Mariah Carey album comes out tomorrow. Is this
going to be part of our new music Friday tomorrow?
Speaker 5 (15:17):
Justin?
Speaker 8 (15:18):
Yeah, I'll throw her in.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
You're actually you know what he would be doing her?
Speaker 3 (15:26):
She hasn't had much success late.
Speaker 11 (15:28):
Okay, she is the queen of chrazy, I know, but
a legend.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Everything dies at some point.
Speaker 11 (15:34):
Actually it hasn't you know much money she makes in December?
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Oh man? The song is called type Dangerous. She's been
looking for danger like almost since she started.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, well guess what. You're gonna be able to see
her at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (15:48):
Yeah, I'll throw her song in. You know, when the
album comes out, I'll throw some of that. I'll support her.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Hi, this is Mariah Carey. If you buy my records,
I'll sleep with you.
Speaker 8 (15:58):
Okay, Well, there you go done.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
I will say this about Mariah Carey. You know she
always had a bad rap. I think that saying that
she was mean, she was miserable.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
I did an interview with her.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I sat down a couple of times, but there was
one time where I went to her hotel suite in Boston,
and you know, I had all this in my head.
I was nervous and was she going to be mean?
She could not have been nicer. I mean, welcome me
into the suite. We sat down, we just had a
natural conversation. I carrying that biggest selling female artist of
all time, still right, I don't know that I was there.
Speaker 11 (16:31):
You're the number guy.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Could not have been nicer. So and coming to the
iHeart Radio Music Festival. That's pretty cool. And we did
the Karen Reid thing earlier this morning. In case you
missed it. The court trial today was canceled because of
the heat.
Speaker 13 (16:44):
Okay, well it was because they can't hear over therect
We've got very precious the latest. Can you guys imagine
if Billy had to serve Jerry duty in a hundred
degree court arm?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 11 (17:00):
I could be on the boat right now.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Oh man.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
The latest list of self made female billionaires is out.
Oprah is still topping the list three point one billion.
Kim kardash A is next with one point seven and
right behind Kim as Taylors with a one point that's
been close.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
To Oprah money. Yeah, no, right, I mean there's Oprah
and then everybody else.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Laper's amazing, yeah, Andrianna one point three billion, nothing wrong
with that.
Speaker 11 (17:26):
Listen. I'll take the point three okay, Yeah, take the
point one.
Speaker 13 (17:30):
Yeah, I'll take I'll take zero point three point zero
zero three Uh okay and justin Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
This banned all American rejects. We haven't seen or heard
much of them lately. They've been performing in people's backyards.
Speaker 8 (17:46):
Right, Yeah, so instead of going on a normal tour,
this is actually recent. They were like, you would sign
up to have them come to your party, your backyard,
and they did that. They showed up at parties at
college campus. Isn't performed. It's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
And they've always been the creative. So they've got a
new single coming out. It's called Easy Come, Easy Go,
and the lead singer, Tyson Ridder. I've always liked that name.
By the way, Tyson Ritter.
Speaker 8 (18:09):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
He's going on only fans to promote the song.
Speaker 8 (18:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
I think it's a good idea.
Speaker 11 (18:16):
No, I wondered to be a full frontal.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
I saw a few of the shots. I didn't see
any full frontals.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Well, yeah, you have to pay for Oh.
Speaker 8 (18:24):

Speaker 2 (18:27):

Speaker 11 (19:50):
You don't even understand I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Well, I mean, I'm guessing you don't have a whole
lot going on. I mean, you're living in.
Speaker 15 (19:57):
Westminster much, but I do. Now next week, where is Westminster? Mary,
It's by Gardner.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
It's like maybe ten minute.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Yeah, that's a hike.
Speaker 8 (20:10):
It's like a truck route. Is that like Fitchburg around there?
Speaker 7 (20:14):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (20:14):
Around there.
Speaker 11 (20:15):
Fitchburgh's about ten minutes too.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Do you have a single traffic light?
Speaker 7 (20:21):
We have maybe two?
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Oh? Yeah.
Speaker 6 (20:25):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Do you have one of those like buildings that houses
everything from the post office to the general store? Like
anything you hear in life, you get into one one stop,
one stop shop.
Speaker 11 (20:35):
I mean, yeah, we have those plazas.
Speaker 6 (20:37):
I mean they have like three or four businesses in it,
but you know, not like ten or twelve.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Yeah, and Uh, Mary, what do you do when you're
not sending talkbacks?
Speaker 11 (20:45):
I am watching my grandson.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Okay, all right, well listen.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Uh you've got tickets to see the weekend.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Who are you going to bring?
Speaker 11 (20:53):
I am going to bring a friend of mine.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Okay, And tell everybody how easy this was for you.
Speaker 10 (21:00):
It was so super easy.
Speaker 15 (21:01):
You listen to Ihet Radio, Kiss went Away, and then
you just talk back.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
She knows when you hear a weekend song, you talk
back like Mary.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Oh, Mary, hold on.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Now the real highlight just as big as seeing the weekend.
You get to talk to producer Riley.
Speaker 11 (21:18):
I love it.
Speaker 10 (21:19):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Okay, And we'll see you at the weekend show.
Speaker 11 (21:22):
Absolutely.
Speaker 8 (21:23):
Yeah. And Mary mentioned about about, uh, you know, meeting
Kiss went Away Kiss? When wit will be there at
Splitsville for the show. It's see the week the weekend.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Absolutely, I'll be.
Speaker 11 (21:33):
There on Wednesday too. Do you want to meet me?
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Oh? Okay, just hanging around the mall.
Speaker 11 (21:38):
I'll be at Swittsville.
Speaker 8 (21:39):
Are you going to the show?
Speaker 13 (21:40):
No, you really need a hobby or something.
Speaker 11 (21:45):
It's probably my job, Billy. Oh do you want to
go instead of me?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (21:51):
I think they probably not in town this week. Yeah,
they probably thought, you know, we should have billion Lisa there,
and they're like, probably, I'm gonna go a lot going on.
It's a lot to get you, especially on a weekday.
Speaker 11 (22:01):
I lovely live the closest, so that's why.
Speaker 8 (22:04):
Okay, yeah, it's gonna be a great show. So that's
going to continue on right up to showtime next week. So,
like Mary said, you listen to Kiss on the iHeart app.
That's the only way that you can win this contest.
Every time we play a weekend song and we do
you know a lot. You know, it's the biggest artists
in the world. One of them leave us a talkback
on the app and let us know and you could
be a winner.
Speaker 11 (22:22):
I well, Billy and Lisa Kiss, so Josh.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Every day at this time we do what we call
talk back a leftovers. A lot of new people join
the show all the time. Can you explain what this
is and why?
Speaker 8 (22:32):
Yeah? Absolutely, So we always ask people to join the
show using the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app. We
can't always get to them, but you can still leave them.
You have to be listening on the iHeart app and
there's a little button it's a microphone that you press.
You just record right into your phone and that comes
to me. It's pretty cool. It's like magic. Yeah, and
then I play it right on the radio for everyone
to hear.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
Hey, everyone, it's Quinny.
Speaker 11 (22:52):
I'm actually calling from Nashville right now. I'm in town
for the CMA Fast.
Speaker 12 (22:58):
It's four nights of music like any Sun Stadium, and
they have a bunch.
Speaker 11 (23:02):
Of shows throughout each day. We're actually seeing Riley and
Green tonight. I'm telling me you guys did.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Hi oh Riley Green?
Speaker 8 (23:12):
And we had him on this show. He's a country artist,
but you know Lisa and when he were kind of
fall Yeah, he.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Popped up on the Bulls feed one day and I
was like, Okay, what's going on here?
Speaker 5 (23:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Gush, gush, gush.
Speaker 13 (23:25):
He's a beach house and I wish someone had told me.
I would have made the drive down.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Me too.
Speaker 8 (23:31):
And he was happy as ever because we played some
of his songs. He loved it.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
Man, this has been cool.
Speaker 5 (23:37):
I don't thing I've ever done any of you with
the Top forty station or head. Three of my songs
played on one either, so I appreciate having I wanted.
Speaker 11 (23:45):
To be sexually harassed for us to play his music.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
But that was such a cool moment for the show
because you know, we were just talking about how Lisa
when he just thought Riley Green was so hot, and
then his people reached out to Riley Green and instantly
he called into the show.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
I thought that was very cool of it.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
It was very cool.
Speaker 8 (24:02):
It was one of the top moments of the year
of twenty twenty four. Yeah, last year, so really cool.
Speaker 12 (24:06):
Good morning, kiss won O. Wait, family, This is Al
from Palam, New Hampshire, Justin's neighbor. So yesterday, Justin, they
were giving you a hard time because you moved to
New Hampshire to save money on taxes. In New Hampshire,
our property taxes are much higher because we don't have
any sales tax or income tax. But Justin works in Massachusetts,
(24:29):
so he also pays income tax. He's actually double tax all.
Speaker 8 (24:33):
Right, back it up processing. Okay, Wow, I'm double taxed.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
So wait a minute.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
If you were working in New Hampshire, you wouldn't have
income or sales tax.
Speaker 8 (24:43):
Yeah, that's why a lot of people that lived in
New Hampshire during the pandemic that worked in mass were
working from home and they were still taking income taxes
out and they, you know, say, hey, you can't. They
had to give them the money back. Really has no
income tax You're in the wrong state winning.
Speaker 11 (24:58):
I worked in Massachusetts, still get income text.
Speaker 8 (25:01):
Oh right, yeah, lives in Hampshire, Jack.
Speaker 11 (25:03):
I need to be in some radio station up state
New Hampshire.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Yeah, yeah, you need to do the show from New Hampshire.
Speaker 8 (25:11):
I could. Can I do the Can I do that?
Speaker 13 (25:15):
Just move iHeart Boston to iHeart Salem, New Hampshire.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
A new headquarter.
Speaker 8 (25:21):
I have the land. You could build a little studio
on my backyard.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
And we'll have the chickens right now.
Speaker 8 (25:25):
As the chickens are great.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Wow, fresh eggs every morning.
Speaker 8 (25:31):
Yeah. Yeah, you know you wake up, you know, you
get to work and my mother in law wakes up
and this fresh smell of cigarettes every morning. I feel
like I've.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Got my mom and dad back.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Exactly.
Speaker 8 (25:45):
Yeah, good morning. Hello. Earlier, we were talking about Billy
using dub soap on his face. You know, one of
our listeners said that Billy's skin looks really fresh and
clean and all the Instagram and he says, it's just
a bar of soap.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
Lifelong Dove bar sensitive skin formula.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
That's all I use on my face my body, and
I use it very sparingly.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Everyone says I.
Speaker 5 (26:10):
Look like ten years younger than I really am.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
I swear by it. Best stuff ever.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Wow, Dove soap.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
I didn't know Dove had that much power, but yeah,
I've been using it. I can't remember when I wasn't
using Dove.
Speaker 8 (26:21):
Use the deodorant too, absolutely, the roll on. Yeah, I
used the spray deodoran, but I also use I couldn't
remember what it was. It was Secret.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Oh yeah, yeah, that's a women.
Speaker 8 (26:31):
Okay, are you judging me?
Speaker 3 (26:33):
I'm just saying men, don't.
Speaker 8 (26:34):
Are you judging me?
Speaker 9 (26:36):
As long as I can remember, My brother has worn
Secret like the sauce solid that you can crank up
and smells like baby powder. And that's me who has
old spice. But it's the wilderness one with Lavener. It
does not smell manly or musky or anything. But the
biggest thing is that I don't smell either, and neither
do you. If you want to wear women's deodorant, how
(26:58):
about it go wild. I don't want to smell like
baby powder, but if you do, love that you just
don't smell a gas.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Well that's a hearty gal right there, spice.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Yeah, a lot of curls. Boy, she's chopping the wood
and the family.
Speaker 8 (27:13):
Yeah, I don't know what it is. The male deodorant.
It makes me break out my skin. I have sensitive skin.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Then, do you do?
Speaker 1 (27:19):
You?
Speaker 8 (27:20):
I have for many years? Yeah, I mean it was
a little embarrassing when I got my wife and I
had to explain to her that I use women's deodorant.
Speaker 13 (27:26):
You know what, justin there was a time in life
where I don't think you brush your teeth or used
the udorance.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
So I'm just happy.
Speaker 8 (27:31):
But thank you Mondy.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
What do you use for soap?
Speaker 11 (27:33):
Do Dove or Survey? Because I really sip skin?
Speaker 4 (27:37):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Or what Survey?
Speaker 10 (27:39):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
No, it's yeah, it's Servey. It's ce r V and
it's good for people that have skin problems. It's just
very basic. There's not a whole lot of ingredients in it.
I use it to and I use Dove soap.
Speaker 13 (27:50):
I use the White Barrant and Survey on my skin.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
God, we have so much in common, at least the
two of us with our Dove soap.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
We really do.
Speaker 8 (27:58):
Just a couple of broads.
Speaker 11 (28:02):
Kids won Await.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the Morning.
Speaker 8 (28:07):
So the Best Summer Ever continues on Kiss went to Wait.
We're getting you into the weekend show at you lett.
He has two shows Tuesday and Wednesday. How you win
is you leave a talkback on the iHeart app when
you're listening to Kiss want to Wait? Every time we
play a weekend song. Mary was our winner this morning. Congratulations.
Speaker 14 (28:21):
It was so super easy.
Speaker 15 (28:23):
You listen to iHeartRadio Kiss went await, and then you
just talk back.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
You talk back. That's it. That's all you gotta do,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Hey, this is from Brockton, Massachusetts.
Speaker 6 (28:33):
All right, so I'm gonna make a better message this time.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
And Mary wants the weekend tickets.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
But does that.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Mean there are no more for you guys to give
out or are we still making talkbacks to get some
weekend tickets. It's a good question.
Speaker 8 (28:48):
It goes all the way up until showtime. Yeah, yeah,
this isn't over. This is all day, every day, all
the way up until next Tuesday and Wednesday. Not the
best day ever. It's the best summer ever. It's the
best summer ever. So that's gonna be you know today,
you know, and you have to listen. You have to
listen to win. So we play a weekend song and
leave a talk back on why you want to go.
That's it. Katain loftus in the studio this morning, taking
(29:08):
your calls about the Karen Reid trial. And one thing
I want to mention is the plow driver Lucky. A
lot of people talking about that in his testimony and
whether they think like how could he see how can
he not see the body? You know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (29:20):
I was talking to my husband about the plow driver's testimony.
Speaker 11 (29:23):
My husband also.
Speaker 7 (29:24):
Drives plows, like the big equipment plows at night during snowstorms.
Speaker 5 (29:29):
So when I was.
Speaker 7 (29:31):
Telling them what the plow driver was saying, before I
could even finish, my husband like jumped in saying, when
you're driving plows, especially at night, you have to be
looking left and right and not just at the road.
Speaker 11 (29:44):
So he agrees, and so do I what the plow driver.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
That's I always thought Lucky was a good witness, just
to talk about what the scene was like that night.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
So now her husband the guys guy driving the big rigs.
Speaker 8 (30:02):
Right, Yeah, you don't want to mess with the plow driving. No,
you never do, not at all. And then of course
the court was canceled today it was too hot for things.
Speaker 12 (30:09):
I heard this, no court today because the Karen Reid
fans outside would be hot and they learnt how to
keep them cool. So that's why there's no court today
till tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Really, everybody's pressure. I don't think.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
I don't think so no, no, not at all.
Speaker 8 (30:28):
So yeah, it'll be back in session tomorrow, Katain loftus,
we'll be back next Thursday to break down the Karen
Reid trial. Also this morning, Uncle Mark, that's Lisa's uncle,
lives up in Maine, also lives in Key West. He's
been on a show many many times, and he's coming
down for some celebrations this week, so we had him on. Yeah.
I just had one of the salespeople come up to
(30:49):
me during the break right there and said to me, so,
that's not a real person, right, the Uncle Mark? Is
that a real And I go, no, that's her. No,
but that's not like real, how he is?
Speaker 2 (30:58):
It's actually it is.
Speaker 8 (30:59):
He's a character actor. I'm like, no, yeah, that's him.
He was shocked.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
Because you get the impressions in the mountains of Appalachia.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Yeah, he's got a little bit of that, but no,
that's really him, and he's really fun and we left
him very much. And he is coming in for Max's graduation.
Speaker 8 (31:16):
Yeah, not only coming in, he's flying in.
Speaker 5 (31:18):
Oh yeah, I got the chumps out there on the
pad now and getting ready to he low down, Yeah,
he low.
Speaker 8 (31:25):
Down, get the chopper.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Doesn't he drive a Harley two in t West?
Speaker 5 (31:30):
He does not.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
He has a scooter, O scooter.
Speaker 11 (31:33):
That's very different.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
He pops around on the scooter.
Speaker 11 (31:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
Yeah, scooter sends a different message than a Harley. A vespa, yeah,
like a vest.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
I've climbed on the back and ridden around town with him.
Speaker 8 (31:45):
Is it a high end one?
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Yeah, it's like the one with the big motor, the
one that you can take on the highway.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
The three hundred.
Speaker 6 (31:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
And then he's got to pick up truck. And I
mean he's like, you know, he's a good old boy.
Speaker 8 (31:55):
I guess, so, I guess so all right, Well, congratulations
once again to Max and Riley. Sounds a big week
for them, graduating high school and graduating eighth grade, going
into high school.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
I want a reminder, today is the last day of
the scuper Bowl on City Hall Plaza.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
It's gonna be hot out today.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Make some plans to have some ice cream and have
your money go to a great cause, Data Farmard Cancer Research.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
We got to get out of here. We'll see you
tomorrow morning.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
The Mighty one is coming in right now.
