kind of busy, but okay, maybe we can make it happen,
even if it's just short one. And so we've been
doing that and I think that people really like it.

and I think I attribute that to the fifth day.
So I'm so glad I came up with that idea.

Valentine's Day last year was on like a Wednesday, so
she had both weekends. So one girl got one weekend,

it's Valentine's weekend.

told me I was I dated a girl before. He
was just like, oh, okay, like he goes, oh, how
was that?

Oh wasn't willing for me. He was like okay. Never
like you know some guys like oh that's so that's
so hot. Didn't even flinch.

She was just like oh okay, and like never asked details,
now you know what I mean. And we never talked
about it. And I'm like, I'm so happy now. Why
would I sit here and be like, by the way,
before we dated, I was with I experimented with a
girl and she played me and she was living with
another girl and all this shit and I have I
have a year worth of like crazy stories, but like,
you know what, it doesn't it doesn't matter.

I respect that so much. I have a friend saying Mike,
my friend, Mike, he does not care about a girl's
past because what doesn't matter. I'm not like that, like
you ever had a story about with with Jen When
I was dating, we weren't married, we were dating on jamming. Yeah,
the one time that she got mad about the radio. There,
I'll tell you this. So she was with a kid
as a young so she so to give a quick history,

like she dated my friend. That's how I knew her
when we were younger. We were like fourteen fifteen. And
then she had a boyfriend, like a young childhood love
that was in jail dys while she was dating my friend.
They were kind of broken up. Then he got out. Man,
that's the kid the last time I saw her, remember
that story. Okay, that was that kid. So they were
together like through their teens and then they got sucked
up on drugs all that stuff, and then they broke up.

But like it was her first love essentially, So then
she gets with me and she's done with him. But
I'm insecure, you know, So in the back of my mind,
I'm like, does she really want to still be with
this kid? Unfortunately, he lost his life from addiction through
an OD so it was a big blow to her.
And so this is when my Space was big, right,

So he died and it was awful and she went
to she was with his family all that stuff. But
what happened was he had a MySpace page and you
could write comments on their page, right, And I went
on his page and I saw that she was writing
messages to him, just saying like, I'll miss you, I
love you, I was thinking about you today, but like,
you know, not a ton, but like there were a
bunch of things. Yeah, And I felt some sort of

type of way about it because I was insecure. Meanwhile,
she was loving me. And I made the mistake of
like telling the idiots at Jamming that I was working
with Okay, yeah, So they were like, this is a break.
So they put me on the air and they tell
the story and now, mind you, we start talking about
it and Jen is just waking up and her friends
her phone's blowing up and the people going like, oh

my god, ha ha ha ha, this is so funny aha,
and she's like what and they're like, on the radio.
So she turns on the radio and as she does,
it's Romero and he's going, justin he's dead. You're jealous
of a dead guy? Like he's dead, and dude, that
was a bad day for me. The only time she's

ever been mad about something. And she's like, are you
fucking serious, You're jealous of someone that passed away? And
I was like, maybe look at myself more. But yes,
I try not to worry about her past. I'll ask questions.

Well, the thing is, when I meant I hate you
calling that name. But when I met him, her and
I were, oh, I'm not even gonna say it, Clover,
I'm not okay, it's Clovis. When I met him, I
was already broken up with her, and we had already
established we knew she was with somebody else, so I
had already completely like removed myself from It wasn't like

a breakup where it was like, oh, we're gonna get
back together, We're gonna work it out.

I already was like I would never date this person,

And I met him and it was like, literally I
could it couldn't have been a better transition out of
a talk s relationship to a healthy one, and it

made it so much easier.

But there were so many times.

I mean this started in like April. Actually Valentine's Day
was when one of the first times it started. Like
there was multiple things way before, Like I even like
showed you guys that I was dating her. That I
was like, oh, I don't know about that, but I
like let it go, you know what I mean?

She looked out.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
Valentine's Day last year was on like a Wednesday, so
she had both weekends. So one girl got one weekend,
one girl good day.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
At least, like, you know, like she lucked out that year.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
I was like, damn, she couldn't have because either way,
it's Valentine's weekend.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Right, at least she kind of spread the love around.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Oh yeah, no she did. She I got my flowers.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
Who I love him like he's such He's like literally
he I don't even think he knows because he actually
knows nothing about my relationship with her. I I when
I got into this relationship with him, I decide I
don't want to trauma bottle with people.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
I feel like another relationships.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
I don't know if you did this back in the day,
like when you were dating, you would tell them, remember
yeah right, but you would kind of like tell them
you're ass issues with people in your past. And I
literally he is so respectful. He doesn't even ask shit
like that. He it took us a while. When I
told me I was I dated a girl before. He
was just like, oh, okay, like he goes, oh, how
was that?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Oh wasn't willing for me. He was like okay. Never
like you know some guys like oh that's so that's
so hot. Didn't even flinch.
Speaker 6 (06:19):
She was just like oh okay, and like never asked details,
now you know what I mean. And we never talked
about it. And I'm like, I'm so happy now. Why
would I sit here and be like, by the way,
before we dated, I was with I experimented with a
girl and she played me and she was living with
another girl and all this shit and I have I
have a year worth of like crazy stories, but like,
you know what, it doesn't it doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
I respect that so much. I have a friend saying Mike,
my friend, Mike, he does not care about a girl's
past because what doesn't matter. I'm not like that, like
you ever had a story about with with Jen When
I was dating, we weren't married, we were dating on jamming. Yeah,
the one time that she got mad about the radio. There,
I'll tell you this. So she was with a kid
as a young so she so to give a quick history,
(07:01):
like she dated my friend. That's how I knew her
when we were younger. We were like fourteen fifteen. And
then she had a boyfriend, like a young childhood love
that was in jail dys while she was dating my friend.
They were kind of broken up. Then he got out. Man,
that's the kid the last time I saw her, remember
that story. Okay, that was that kid. So they were
together like through their teens and then they got sucked
up on drugs all that stuff, and then they broke up.
(07:23):
But like it was her first love essentially, So then
she gets with me and she's done with him. But
I'm insecure, you know, So in the back of my mind,
I'm like, does she really want to still be with
this kid? Unfortunately, he lost his life from addiction through
an OD so it was a big blow to her.
And so this is when my Space was big, right,
(07:45):
So he died and it was awful and she went
to she was with his family all that stuff. But
what happened was he had a MySpace page and you
could write comments on their page, right, And I went
on his page and I saw that she was writing
messages to him, just saying like, I'll miss you, I
love you, I was thinking about you today, but like,
you know, not a ton, but like there were a
bunch of things. Yeah, And I felt some sort of
(08:06):
type of way about it because I was insecure. Meanwhile,
she was loving me. And I made the mistake of
like telling the idiots at Jamming that I was working
with Okay, yeah, So they were like, this is a break.
So they put me on the air and they tell
the story and now, mind you, we start talking about
it and Jen is just waking up and her friends
her phone's blowing up and the people going like, oh
(08:27):
my god, ha ha ha ha, this is so funny aha,
and she's like what and they're like, on the radio.
So she turns on the radio and as she does,
it's Romero and he's going, justin he's dead. You're jealous
of a dead guy? Like he's dead, and dude, that
was a bad day for me. The only time she's
(08:49):
ever been mad about something. And she's like, are you
fucking serious, You're jealous of someone that passed away? And
I was like, maybe look at myself more. But yes,
I try not to worry about her past. I'll ask questions.
Speaker 6 (09:02):
Well, the thing is, when I meant I hate you
calling that name. But when I met him, her and
I were, oh, I'm not even gonna say it, Clover,
I'm not okay, it's Clovis. When I met him, I
was already broken up with her, and we had already
established we knew she was with somebody else, so I
had already completely like removed myself from It wasn't like
(09:22):
a breakup where it was like, oh, we're gonna get
back together, We're gonna work it out.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
It was a dead stop. This is done. I hate you.
You suck.
Speaker 6 (09:28):
You're the worst team in the world. I'm disgusted I
was with you. I'm disgusted that you let me like
you got to turn me like the way that you
thought you could. Because I'd said to her when I
first started dating her, like one, I don't like talking
to people that know me through the radio because it
makes me uncomfortable that you think you know somebody because
you hear me every day. So that to her once,
and I also said I don't want to be a
conquest because I'm straight and you want to turn a

straight girl.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
And she said both those names were untrue.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Now I feel like both of them are true, but anyways, right,
and I think, like so that pisses me off. So
I already was like I would never date this person,
and I already like moved on in a way. So
I don't want to like disparage him as like a
rebound because it was so not a rebound. It was
I had literally put in my mind like I'm I'm it's.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Time to move on in my life.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
And I met him and it was like, literally I
could it couldn't have been a better transition out of
a talk s relationship to a healthy one, and it
actually has made me be a healthier partner. He was clover, No,
I hate that you say that, but like it no,
literally like I I no, Like it's it's crazy to think,
but like he just kind of like I was already
(10:35):
starting my healing journey and he kind of just like
made it so much easier.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
And I never want to be the person like, oh, like.
Speaker 6 (10:41):
You need like you need to heal, you to heal
alone or whatever, but I'm like, normally I wait, like
five years in between relationships that just happened that way,
like when in college, one in my mid twenties, one
in my like whatever, and like to not have to
wait and like five years to find somebody that when
I feel like I'm in a good space because I
was ready for relationships, she wasn't obviously, because she well
(11:04):
that's what I'm saying, right, So I'm like, I was
ready for everything I was doing with her.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
She and she kept saying to me all the time,
I just can't give you what you need. I just can't.
And I was like, what are you talking. It's not hard,
I'm asking you to sus.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
She she, Oh my god, she had so many things.
Speaker 6 (11:17):
I was just so much going on right now. You
don't even understand. You don't understand my life, Like and
I always was like, what are you talking about? It
was so cryptic all the time. It was so dramanic.

I know some of the lesbians on hair that listened
to the bisexual girls, girlies, I love you, and they're
always like, don't go off of your own, like we're
all good and listen, there's plenty of nice lesbians out
there that love their partners, and plenty of nice bisexual
girls that my data girl, and like they're fine, but
my experience was not that, and I can only explain
my experience, And my experience was your quintessential, quintessential straight girl.

Like that was you know, just not dating any guys
at the time, attractive, persuasive, charismatic lesbian who was determined
to get her and you just let it happen and
then you were like, oh, this is kind of fun.
And then oh, and honestly, the one thing that I
think is it's like having a best friend all but like,
because I like, dating a guy is great, but there

is a certain thing when you're dating a girl that's
just having your best friend all the time.

It's like having a girl's day all the time, you
know what I mean.

And like that's like the nice thing about being with
the girl, Like I can't like there's certain things I
could do with her that you just don't do any girl.

You just don't do in a heterosexual relationship, you know
what I mean.

But doesn't hang out with me.

Missed about being with men that I kind of put
in my head, like, well, you know what, Like it
doesn't matter, like you know, you're You've committed to this
relationship and it's it's so fucked up because it's like
I committed myself to a life that I wasn't even
interested in and she couldn't commit to me.

So it's like I like, you know what I mean.

So it's like I I'm it's kind of annoying that,
like I gave up dick for you and you know,
but like whatever, But yeah, so now I just feel
like I've given a lot of information.

There's a lot of in between stories that could be
ooh funny or interesting or like how the fuck didn't
you know when he like, there's so like I could
go on, we could do a year podcast of all
the instances with her that were fucked up, But like
I choose to like say, at the end of the day,
there were some good times. I definitely learned a lot
about myself and I came out a better person for

what I went through, and now I'm in a much
better space.

reveal that that early on when the show first launched,
that you were sending angry talkbacks, and I got annoyed
because at times when I was trying to get talkbacks

that were usable during the show, because you don't know,
I'm pulling talkbacks live on the rate radio, on a
live show, so as yours were coming in when I
needed other ones to commit, I got annoyed and I
was like, I need to get this guy off here.
But that but then you turn and now you are
you know, a fan of the show, and we're happy
to have you and I do play your talkbacks. So
maybe you didn't hear the whole segment, but there was
