Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, Winny, how are you. That's okay? Welcome in, Hi Winni, Hi,
say hi to the people.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hi people.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I'm so happy to have my voice back.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I'm so happy to have your voice back to you.
I fucking hated your little fucking.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
AI, Justin evil AI.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I hate AI.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yeah. I did like writing the dirty stuff though, Like
about Lisa's bats water. It's like, you know, able, AI
just comes out and just you know, okay, hits it
raw the show the show, I mean did anyway, Speaking
of my voice returning, we have some stuff to deal
with here.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Hey guys, listen with you after show, long time listener,
and I just want to say I appreciate new material,
even if it's not live. I prefer live radio obviously,
but I appreciate new material, and you know, especially appreciate
that Justin's voice cleared up so quickly for the after
show on a Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Love you guys.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Oh yeah, I know, probably some confusion.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
There, Hi, Winny and Justin. I'm listening to your Friday
after show podcast and Justin has his voice no laryngitis.
I'm wondering if you guys pre taped it. I'm so confused.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Yeah. So the answer is yes. And the reason that
we did on Thursday is because my voice was already
going on Thursday, so we said, in case, in case,
we'll just you know, we'll pre record it. That way,
you have something. We're trying to do something five days
a week, but typically we do it right after the show.
But I didn't know I was going to completely lose
my voice and I did. So it was weird because

(01:30):
I thought about that during the show on Friday. I'm like, damn,
we pre recorded the Friday after show.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
In my eyes, the podcast is not dabbing video because
it's a pre recorded pre record.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Like the podcast can't be live.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
So whether we recorded it five minutes four you it
down it uploads, or twenty five hours before it, does
it really matter.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
I don't think it does. Yeah, honestly, I think it does.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I mean, obviously we like to talk about things that
happened on the show that day, but sometimes even when
we do it right after the show, we.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Don't talk talk about the showhow that day. Like today,
we're not talking about the show this day.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
What'd you do this weekend?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I just watched the kids for Posty tried to get
outside as much as possible cheat night cheat and I
did McDonald's only because the kids wanted McDonald's. By the way,
they got it. Yeah, I went and got it. By
the way, the new chicken fingers are awful. They are no,
they're horrendous. They're not good, and the sauce is not I.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Don't like the sauce. The thing about it.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
They're a little bit more moist than the the og once.
But for some reason I just can't get behind them.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I don't like and I don't know if this is
because I got, you know, takeout our drive through obviously,
and then I got home, but I like my chicken
fingers to be crispy, and they were like very sod well,
how long to drive? Not long? Five minutes. They weren't
good at all. I was very disappointed. What'd you get
your I got a big mac large meal, I got
chicken strips, I got a ten piece of nugget, and

(02:49):
I got a mcflurry Oreo and eminem.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Mix And what do you fit the kids?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Well, Jimmy gets a happy mail able to get to
ten piece and a large fry. Yeah okay, So and
then I got a Blackstone grill. So we spent all
the day. Well, the one I got was really expensive. Nice.
I think it was thirteen.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Hundred okay, yeah, yeah, but it'll last few years.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I mean like regular grills. You're paying three four five
thousand dollars, but it took all day to put it together.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
And then you have the season in the top.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yes, very good win.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
How do you know that?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I just see it on TikTok.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I don't get why they have the season the top.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
So when you first get it, you can't just cook
on it. You have to clean it. And what you
do is you put this they sell this griddle stuff.
You have to put heat it up, put it on,
move it around, let it burn up, and do that
again five times. Yeah, to like basically lube it up.
I guess.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
But the most important thing is, and this is for
any blackstone user or someone wants to get a blackstone,
the most important thing is you use it. You cook,
it's all good, you scrape it, you wipe it down
with the paper towel, and then you put whatever oil
you want. I use avocado oil, you can use vegetable oil.
You put it on, move it around with a paper towel,
and then turn it off to prepare for the next question.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Though, Did you get rid of your other grill?

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Do you have?

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Bo?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I gave it to my friend Alan.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah. Nice, So you didn't needed upgrade.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Just wanted an upgrade. And let me tell you when
he this thing is fantastic.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I can't wait to see it.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I cooked my chicken on it. I cooked which, by
the way, a listener pointed this out in my video
on my Instagram my picture. I didn't. I cooked the
chicken right in front of the chickens. But yeah, yeah,
the coop is right.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Behind like smiling so happy.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yeah, cooking them up.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
You know that's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah. And then I cooked my ground beef with onions
and peppers, my prep for the week. And then I
did Yeah. And then Jen made capreasy pizza fantastic. The
only thing is we learned this after so she put
the flatbreads down, okay on the blackstone, put you know,

(04:53):
tomatoes and mozzarella and uh balsamic vanegar and stuff. What
you have to do is when you cook pizza, you
have to grow one side, flip it and then put
it so it's crispy. It was still good.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
But and then we cooked steak and more chicken. And
then the Blackstone that I got the reason that we
got the expensive one. It has air fryers.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Oh nice.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
So, you know, vegetables, French fries, things for the kids.
They eat mostly. You know, Able's not eating anything we
cook on the grill. He's only eating French fries and chicken,
fried chicken. So that was cool. Great, So that took
us all day and then that was it a week
Let me hold on, let me guess what you did.
You went to I'm gonna say you went to some
sort of chain restaurant at least one night of this weekend.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
No, actually, that's the lie I want to fix to ourhouse.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Say there you go.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
So Friday, I went to see Sinners so good?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Oh yeah, so good. It was great. Wasn't it good?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Wasn't he so good as both the brothers?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I mean it was. It was really really good.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
I'm not really the vampire stuff, but it really wasn't
like that type of vampire vibe it was.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
It was it had like a some deeper meetings behind it.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Obviously it's the South in the in the nineteen thirties.
But yeah, that was really good. We went to a
Mexican restaurant before. It's not a chain. It's in Randolph.
It's pretty good. I got tacos. I'm a cheap date.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Nine bucks for the three tacos.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
By the way, tacos can be cooked on the Blackstone too.
Oh they saw the holders. Oh, like the bear tacos
putting out there.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
And then Saturday went to Texas Roadhouse and Posty with
my friend Julia.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
That was fun.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
It was it was wet, but like we stayed. She's
pregnant and I and my back hurt, so we left
it like maybe like twenty songs and we stayed for
good majority. By the time we walked to the car,
I think it was like the Encore. I could hear
it playing in the back. And then yesterday my boyfriend
and I went to Milkweed, which is new in Dorchester,
but there's one in Tremont Street. It's like it's a

(06:41):
brunch place, Milkweed.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
It's called Milkweed. We had peanut butter and jelly pancakes.
Those were rare.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Those were good. Sounds good.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
And then we took the dog to the park. My
dog does not like the park at all. It was
like such a waste of time. Yeah, he just sniffed
around like he didn't want to run. He didn't want to.
He's a husky and a shepherd, so he has a
lot of like a hunter skill to him.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
So he just wants to sniff.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Well that's his idea of having fun. What's wrong with that? Okay,
do you want to hop along?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I wanted him to like go after the ball.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
He's doing Listen, he's doing what he wants. There's nothing wrong.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
I got a pop cup and I got we got
ice cream to end.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
The night with a po cup. Oh, puppy ice cream.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Well, it's just vanilla ice cream with a bone on top.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh yeah, that's good. Where do they sell that?

Speaker 3 (07:22):
A lot of places do it. It's just vanilla Soft serve.
Oh yeah, so, and they put normally a bone on top.
It's called pop cup. If you go somewhere that doesn't
have a pup cup, I would just get a kiddy
vanilla swirl.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I mean vanilla Soft serve. It's the same thing.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, yeah. I tell you one time I went into
a store when I was younger, and I was obviously
not in the right mind, and they had free dog
treats on the counter and I asked if I could
have one, and they said yeah, and I took a bite.
I just didn't real I thought they were three cookies.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Do you remember where it taste the leg not good? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:50):
I like, yeah, it's unbelievable. All right, Well that's good.
Well here we are a brand new week.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
But my back is fucking killing me. I don't know
halfway through posty sharp pain.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
You know who you gotta go see.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
I'm gonna so I'm double duty ing tonight.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
I'm going to tbr X in Franklin, which is like
the old Tom Brady TB twelve, but now it's he
doesn't own it anymore, so it's called tbr X. My
guy Joe is gonna get me right. Then Thursday, I'm
going to see Jenna first stretch.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
She has a new table I use. I'm going tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Oh you are?

Speaker 1 (08:23):
It's this thing is she's been I'm so happy for her.
She's been talking about this table. Yeah, it costs a
lot of money your first time using it. Yeah, she
just got it. But it's a table that if you
can see it for yourself, it's on her page Stretch
Strategy Strategy by Jenna. It like BENDU the table bends,
so she doesn't have to do all the work she
can do. She can kind of manipulate it, manipulates you,

(08:45):
and then she can further manipulate you. That sounds dirty. Yeah,
but yeah, I'm going tomorrow, so.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
It's gonna be amazing, and I'm going thursday. Report back.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
All right, Well, my voice is back. I know he
still sounds sick. I think it's allergies. My yard is
covered in pollen. And I was outside of the car. Yeah,
so bad, I was. I mean I live in the woods. Yeah,
so it was pretty bad. But anyway, we're back and
lives to talk back on the iHeart app. You're listening
to the after show on the iHeart App. Only leave us.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
To talk about before I go, Can I make one
request to our loyal, loyal talkback listeners and you know,
our army. If you guys have our podcast as your
number one preset, I please humbly ask you to make
Kiss the number one preset, and make us number two
and number three, and make billions a number two and
then that's number three. As much as we love you
and we would like to be number one, we need
Kiss to be number one so that you can get.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
You know, so it's so when you can get her bonus.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
No, no, it's so that they can stop telling us.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Make sure people aren't you telling me, Well, somebody's getting
a bonus.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
It's probably not really get much of a bonus.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
We would appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
It's like an ice cream cone.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
But anyways, anyway, enjoy the weather. It's gonna be great.
It's gonna rain Friday and Saturday, so you know what
these next few days. Enjoy it.
