Speaker 1 (00:00):
Look at that when you already Friday, four day week.
Then I go by quick I did.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's crazy, especially because I only worked three days.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Oh yeah, you had Wednesday off.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah, it was kind of weird to like come in
one day, then go take the day off and come.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Oh speaking of that, Yeah, okay, June teenth, Yes, we
have off.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's a company day.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
It's a Thursday.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Is going away. Oh she's going to Iceland that weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Oh she she wants the Thursday off. She's going.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
She's already books her trip.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Okay, so she's she's heading off on.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Thursday, Wednesday night.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I think, oh, okay, never mind. Yeah I didn't. I
forgot about that. Yeah, because I was going to say,
what do we think about working on June teenth? Yeah,
and then two weeks later taking the Thursday off for
a vacation. Fourth of July is on a Friday, So
we are working up until Thursday, and then we're off Friday,
and then the entire next week we could have got
an extra day.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
What I think we really should do is just take
that Friday, the twentieth and call it day.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Take both days.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I know, because like a lot of people are going
to do that.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Oh yeah, four day weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
What if we tell Dylan we'll do a basically a
brand new show for the twentieth.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
We could, we could. People hate that though, but it's
new content, I know, but they still hate it. It's content.
It's weird because I know, but it's like, you know,
you can tell when Billy's not here doing a live
news report or a live entertainment.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Can't we do an entertainment report that's like just general
so it happen on Wednesday?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
No, I mean, because if there are biggest stories that
happen that break and we're not talking about them, it's
it's better to just run something else. But I don't know,
let us know what you think.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I would like to be curious if we if we
gave you guys new content, right, and this would only
happen like twice a year. It's not gonna happen often,
but like on a situation like this, like which is fine,
I will I mean, I'm not gonna do anything on
the Thursday, but like we're gonna come back for one
you know what I mean? We can?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
We can? Well, we can because we have that extra day,
meaning like we have that what's that personal day we
all have an extra day.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
We all have so much sick time. We never use
sick time.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, you can't use the sick time if you're not sick,
I know, you know what I mean. Yeah, the eighteenth,
I'm feeling my voice is going.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
I don't know, I just feel like, you know what
I mean. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Yeah, we can. We can entertain the idea if Lis
is already gonna be off, Lisa is gonna be off.
We could say, we could say to the boss, look,
Lisa is going to be off, and we do have
that extra personal day which we always take for Columbus Day.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
But we can't say anything about that because she's going
away for Columbus Day two.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Oh she is. But then we have another day too,
we do, Yeah, we do. We have that other day,
like the what do you call it? We have lots
of days. No, it's like the it's called something.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Mental health day or something like that. All it is
what it is, Okay. If we if we're giving you
new content, we're all teeing the day off. We're just
doing the work.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You know. More people like it live in the moment happened.
I know why they listened to.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
But they also listen because they like to talk to us.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, I'm Gonave you listen to other radio stations in Boston.
A lot of them it's all pre taped. A lot
of it's pre taped. People seem like.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I love doing live radio. Okay, don't get I love
live radio. I always love live radio. I want to
do live radio till I die. Okay, I think you're
a fraud if you're on the radio and you can
constantly are doing pre recorded shit. I think it's fraudulent anyways.
But what in this circumstance, Once or twice a year,
we're a holiday like Juneteenth or something, or July fourth

(03:32):
or whatever. Our falls on a random Thursday or a
random Tuesday or whatever. You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Right, But what do we Okay? But okay, so on
that Thursday, what are we running? I'm best of? So
I have to record a best of show because that's
what he's gonna have me do, and then do new
content on Friday. What if he says, okay, I want
new content both days. That's a lot new content?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Is I mean? We can I know I trust that
we can do it, though, because there is so much
content we leave on the table every day, Right.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
But what if we just what if we just say, hey,
can we take the other day off and just run
best of both days? And then if he says no,
then say instead of offering up? Okay, okay, do you
know what I mean? So you're getting behind the scenes here, Okay, Okay,
we're just trying to work hard for an extra day off.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I mean, I don't care. I'm not going to do
it on Junior. I'll come back it on Friday, like whatever,
just to day as sleep in. But the only thing
that's I'm with Lisa's coming off. I mean, I love
doing traffic, so I actually kind of do want to
work the twentieth because then I'll do traffic because she
won't be here, and that's gold when I do traffic. Yeah,
but what do you think.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
We'll find out? We'll ask him. I'll just ask him
the boss. I'll just say I'll just say, hey.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
But he is going away, so I'm a thousand percent.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Or I'm just gonna say, boss, listen, Juneteenth, we're off
on that Thursday. Lisa's going away, She's off that Friday.
We all have an extra personal day that we haven't used.
Can we use it on Friday. That's why I want
to leave it right at that. Okay, and maybe hopefully
he'll be like, oh yeah, no problem, just just do it.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
My thing is a lot who are going to do that?
So Laura listening audience won't be there.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Our boss is going to do that. Everyone's going to
do that Friday.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I would tell you if someone has off the nineteenth,
most likely they're gonna take off the twenty. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
It's like on Christmas where they kind of add in
days together. That's how it is. So anyway, we got
to go what was this podcast about? Nothing? It was
literally but it was our off the air conversation.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
You have a talkback or anything? Though, Okay, what are
you doing this weekend? Anything? No?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Well, post Malone's tomorrow. Oh yes, Jen's going and so
I'll have the kids all day, have fun. I'll have to,
you know, be a dad, a dad and a mom
and a mom too. So she's leaving early, she's going
to be at the pre party. She's all excited. So
that's good. Uh, and that's it awesome all right, So
everybody have a great weekend. We'll talk on Monday. And

(05:50):
if you did not get anything out of this podcast,
we promise the next after show will be gold.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
We can't promise that.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Okay, maybe we'll try. We'll try, all right,
