Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, everybody, welcome in after show podcast. When he

(00:02):
is stepping in back in her groat fit today, Hi,
she was off yesterday, No after show. You had a
family issue to deal with everythone, okay, or as best
as it could have been.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I mean, funerals are always sad. But yeah, it's a
nice service and you know it's a funeral. But you know,
my cousin Matt that passed away, he was dad, He
had seven siblings, and then obviously Mount and Uncle his parents,
and then my mom was his godmother, so we were
very involved in like it was. It was sad, but

(00:34):
I just you feel, I like I was, I was
close to him, but obviously he's a lot older than me.
He's like he was like forty nine, so you know,
it was just just being there for his family and
sibling and like his sons are fifteen, twelve, and nine.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
So that's really the tough part.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
And unfortunately his oldest son found him.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Oh yeah, So it's just been like dealing with that,
and then obviously Mount and Uncle losing a child. Even
if your kid's forty nine, he's still your child, doesn't
you know. So we me and my family have been trying.
You know, it's been we've been trying to like do
stuff for them and help them.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
So it's very emotionally draining when you're trying to like
be like supportive to people that are.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Like going through it grieving.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
And then also I'm that I I feel like it
didn't hit me till yesterday because it's like you have
all these memories and then like you know, you see
all your cousins and like how you grew up and
you just have, you know, all these kind of flashbacks
of things that you get older you forget like that
helped mold you and like family events and all that.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
So it was but it was a nice day.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
It's as they say, you know, when you when we
accept life, we have to accept death the way it goes.
And I always say to my wife that I don't
I don't want it. I don't want to wake, I
want to be cremated, and I do not want sadness,
even if it's a tragic thing.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
God forbid.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I want people to come and remember the good times
and have a celebration of life.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
That was the only thing is the pastor who presided,
very nice man, but he kept saying during his eulogy
unexpected death, died unexpectedly, unto the death, and I'm like
I was counting, and a couple of weird things happened
at the funeral. One I don't know if this is
my cousin trying to be funny. My mother and my
uncle Donald brought up the gifts, you know, because if

(02:14):
you're Catholic, or if you've been to a Catholic funeral
or a service, we received the eucharists, so it's the
body and blood of Christ. So my mom and my
uncle were the ones presenting the body and blood of
Christ to the priest to bless and then give out
to everyone attending the mass. So my mother and my
uncle walked past the casket, they bring it up. My
mom at this points falling very very sad, and I'm

(02:36):
getting emotional. And then all of a sudden, there was
a woman that was helping out the priest with the service,
probably like an altar person, but she was like older,
like not a kid, probably in her fifties or sixties.
She fell with the Eucharist in her hand, went everywhere,
She toppled over the over the altar, never came back.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
She just did it.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Was so like, you know, alter girls are altar boys,
but it's a school day, so.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Oh they have like the people that help up.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Right, So now it's like it's like full grown people.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Wait, so she fell and then holding the body, and
then they helped her up.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
They helped her up, but then all the all the
body of chrisis on the floor. I actually love them.
He's so good to me.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
So they had to go get more of it or whatever.
And then it was just like they shuffled her right out.
Oh yes, she never came back. She never came back
to help. It was just like this whole thing. And
then at the end of my cousin Josh gave the
eulogy and at the end the mic started going like
that blank.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
You know, we had that feedback where goes all to
the church.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Do you think it might have been your cousin, my cousin, Yeah, yeah,
I could have been.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
I've never seen, you know, a ghost or a spirit,
not that I don't believe, but you know, my grandfather
obviously in my house, my dad lives, we grew up.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
They all swear they've seen him, hear him.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
So yeah, well all right, well that's you know you
say goodbye. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Yeah, you know who I got to spent a lot
of time with the last week.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Beetle Yes him, but Jimmy Falley, who's an SNL writer. Yeah,
because he is dating Josh, who's Matt's brother.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
And I have some tea.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yeah, well did you?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Is it about the Keenan Thompson thing? What about Well,
Keenan Thompson came out and said that there's going to
be major changes to the to the SNL cast, So
it's funny.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
He told me I could drop some tea, but then
my consent was like absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
He goes and I was like, fine, so you can't.
I'll tell you a fair.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
But fair But is it about SNL? Yeah? Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
But and also Jimmy has a very exciting project coming up.
I'm so proud of him. That's going to be really
really exciting. So we'll have to I told me we
have to come in when it when it.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Drops, Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
But he's the best. I love him.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
They were really good on the on the air because
because you know, all the behind the scenes stuff, and
he wrote which one did he write?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
He wrote? That's why?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, he wrote Domingo.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
You know how hard it is.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
And I think he did talk about this, but I've
heard it a lot how hard it is to get
something you writ you wrote onto the air.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
He was telling me some things about the fiftieth anniversary,
and he's like things that they were writing, and he
was like, literally, they asked me write this this certain thing.
I wrote it, and then like thirty minutes before the show, Oh,
we're cutting it.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Because the time or like whatever.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
And he's like, you spend like two days and you
only have like say seven to do this, and then
you spend a chunk of time on this, and they're like, actually,
never mind.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah that sucks, Yeah, that sucks. All right, Well, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yes, I missed you guys. Thanks for holding it bad.
Thanks to Riley for helping out.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Thanks to you. I know it's more on YouTube than
anybody else here.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I do what I can, Yeah, I do what I can.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Some after show mentions on the show this morning on
the Regular Show about.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I'm sorry you walked me into it.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I know I didn't mean to, but yeah, obviously the
couple got caught having sex outside the Boys and Girls
Club in Salem, New Hampshire, where my son goes and
obviously if you listen to the podcast, you know, was
it this week?

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Yeah, some Monday, Tuesday, Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I told the story of my son caught my wife
and I and you know, it was hot, so maybe
you know people can come and listen to it.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I think, well, I was really trying to get a
good plug in for us because some people don't know
about it, and now they're gonna have to come and
find it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, it's a good story, I know down the hall
they did. They didn't say my name though, Oh yeah.
They actually, you all.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Love to use our material for themselves. The I stop
telling them things. Yeah, case, I want to use it
for my own self, my own story, God forbid.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
It's also a different audience, that's the thing.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
They can talk more openly about sex, and it's okay,
you know, we have to be really careful.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
I know.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yeah, you know what it comes from the territory.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
It does, Yeah, yeah, it really does. So anyway, speaking about.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
My son, speaking of talking to Abel about stuff, have
you figured out how you're going to tell them about
your past and like you being an addict and going
to prison and all of.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
That stuff, and Jen too, I guess, like I don't know.
I feel like that would be kind of weird.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
It's cool, but it's weird interesting that she brings us up. Whinnie,
I don't know if I told you this. I think
I did about my son in my news video.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Yes me refreshmen.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Well, what's happened now is that as my son is
getting older, his friends, especially in the neighborhood that are
like a year or two older, are more on the internet,
and now, you know, they can do things like Google.
So one of his friends googled me and the video
from Channel five came up about my story and the
freaking kids showed able.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
So Abel watched the video. No no, no, no, no no no.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
He has no idea which event I do plan on
talking to him about it. So he comes home and
he goes, you were in jail. I'm like, oh my god,
and so at first I was like, no, what are
you talking about? And he goes, I just saw a videos.
I know I was due. He blindsided. And then I
got him one on one and explained to him, not
full detail, but just about that I had some trouble

(07:46):
and no, he was just he listened. He was very
receptive of it, and I just used it as kind
of a learning lesson and as he gets older, I'll
tell him more.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
He doesn't know anything about my wife.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
You know, that's going to be hard. I think it's
harder than the dad. As your mom was stealing cars
and ship he might think it's so cool though.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah, yeah she was. She was a g She has
a g still, you know. So it's hard to but
anyway you can. You can always leave a talk back
for the after show. They're always open and people like
to talk about various things. One thing that I love
to talk about, which I really feel bad about, you
do too, is the no music on the podcast.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
It's really sucking.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
I Justin and Winnie just leaving a talk back to
voice my opinions about the podcast episodes of the show.
I know you guys have nothing to do with it,
but it really stinks that we can't hear the whole
show anymore. You guys have to cut the music out.
I get it, but like, is there any way they're

(08:41):
gonna like ari Hart is gonna start working on this
because it really thinks. All right, love you.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Guys, by I know it really does stink. Yeah, Riley
has to edit any music out of the podcast. So
if we play a game, we play a lot of
music entertainment update. Yeah, so Riley think about what she
has to do. She has to keep notes the entire
show of every time that we play a song on
the radio and edit it out.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
When I tell you, and I'm gonna be very I'm
gonna try to be very kind about this.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
No, they won't do anything about it because they can't.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
It would cost a lot of money.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
It would cost so much.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Money to pay to have songs on the internet versus
what we pay already to subscribe to having them on
the radio.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
It's just it would bankrupt us, honestly.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, I don't want money.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
The amount of times you play songs.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
It sucks.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, And we're really sorry, and we really, we really
hope you still listen to the podcast.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
That's why I feel bad, because our podcast, you know,
is a source of entertainment for a lot of people
that can't that don't live in the area, that can't
listen at the right time.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
And it's like, what do you do? We can't literally
can't do anything.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Our hands are tied.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Yeah, we do our best.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
We'll give you as much content as we can. And
if you're looking for more content just coming here.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Okay, yeah, we really don't play any music here. Are
you used to? But not anymore? No more music here.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
So anyway, we're back. Today's Thursday. It means tomorrow's Friday.
We'll have an after show podcast as we head into
the weekend on this short week so thank you for listening,
and by the way, if you're here for the first time,
welcome in.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
