Speaker 1 (00:01):
Over in the morning's Dirty on the thirty with the
first pick in the NFL Draft, we choose Shannon to
do the dirty on the thirty Right now, would you
be wearing a lot of like blinged out outfit or
would you what would you do? Would you be like
the person that goes up there and excessively hugs the
commissioner Rogers?
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Probably, I mean Green Bay.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
There were a lot of people there last night, not
as many people as we're hanging out for.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
The draft in Detroit last year.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
But the Tennessee Titans chose cam Ward from the University
of Miami with the first overall pick in the draft
last night, our.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Dear I was a trade. Lion had twenty with the
pust pick.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
In the twenty twenty five NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans
select Cameron Ward, quarterback Miami.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
I love, by the way when they boo the commissioner.
So the Lions.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
We took a defensive tack from Ohio State, Tyler Williams.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
For an o'hastree player.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
He had three and thirty four pounds.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
Yes, yes, big boy, Brad Holmes kind of to give
a comp If you are a football fan. Aleen McNeil
is who he kind of referenced this new guy. A
US said that he has some of the same mobility,
some of the same athleticism. So if you're an Allen
McNeil fan defensive lineman, then you should like this guy.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Did you see the big story is that Shador Sanders.
I don't get it.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Didn't I seed.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Did not get selected. A lot of people thought that
he was the second best quarterback in this NFL draft,
and a lot of people are saying that the different
people at the combine talked about how he's small.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
But this was this was interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
This was first take like I don't know, like a
week or so ago with Steven a and obviously the
very scandalous football.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
In completion percentage. Now I'm trying to gush.
Speaker 6 (02:03):
What I try to figure out all the time, Mails
is how a guy that hadn't played football in almost
five months, how he slides down the draft board look
at the tape. Yes, I won't. If I see a
guy and he plays really well on tape, Mail, I
hope he goes to the combine because if he looks
explosively on tape, I hope he runs fast. I hope
he jumps high and if he if something doesn't correlate,
(02:24):
maybe I need to go back and look at the situation.
Ask you coaches what was going on? Because when I
watch him on tape and I watch him now, something
seems a little off. Was he going through something? What's
going on? All I know is this his offensive line
with average at best, and he got sacked. I mean, yes,
he's gonna have to do a better job. And I
think we all can be in agreeance on this. He
(02:44):
needs to do a better job of getting rid of
the football because he takes far too many sacks. And
sometimes the sack is not always the offensive line, it's
not always the running back. Sometimes you keep you stay
out a third long, you stay out a second long,
or you keep your team in field goal rais. He's
gonna have to do at a job of that. But
now all of a sudden, he's too short, he's too slow.
I want to know the fastest quarterback that's in the
(03:06):
Hall of Fame? Is who the quarterback to have the
strongest arm. Okay, you're gonna say al Way, You're gonna
say Marino, But come on, guys, when it comes to
a quarterback, I want to know what's in here, and
I want to know what's in there because Joe Montana
did not have a strong arm.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
It's interesting.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Uh, he'll probably be selected one of the first couple
of picks in the second round. So I don't know
who's up there towards the top of that that draft pick.
But it cost him a lot of money by not
getting a being a first round pot. Oh really, Oh yeah,
because that's kind.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Of how they pay.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
They pay based on the scale of no pro it's yeah,
so sorry. You Basically, if you're a FIRS, you know,
if you're the number one pick in the draft, like
how Matthew Stafford was, you're gonna get a premier contract
like this Cam is going to get. But if you're
a second round pick, you're gonna get paid like a
second round pick.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Who's a Hard Knocks team this year.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
I don't think they've announced it yet.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
This week, the Tennessee Board of Parole recommended pardon for
Jelly Roll, who is a Nashville native. Federate's connection always
has spoken very openly about his criminal record, his time
behind bars, what it has taken to overcome.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
All of that.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Has passed the Board to action leaves the final decision
on a pardon up to the Governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee.
Now this is important because it would mean that Jelly
could tour and travel internationally and perform and share his
message of redemption, which he has not been able to do.
So the board issued its recommendation unanimously after a hearing
(04:34):
that lasted about an hour and a half. Everybody was
advocating for this pardon to happen for him. Cool Shannon Sharps,
speaking of we just mentioned him, announced he has taken
a break from his ESPN duties as he faces that
fifty million dollar lawsuit that accuses him of rape, sexual misconduct,
and physical abuse. In this lawsuit, Shannon's ex girlfriend accuses
(04:55):
him of raping her twice in Las Vegas last fall
and again this past January.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
And something new with this story.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Apparently he was accused of misconduct with a co worker
years before he was named in this sexual assault lawsuit
from his girlfriend.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
And it was when he was at Fox.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah, f s one's undisputed. During his time there, he
was accused of choking a female production assistant. Yeah, a
little bit of a history. He's denying all of these allocations,
and I.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Think that I think that came out or was talked
about before he even went over. Stephen A brought him
over to ESPN and it kind of like went away.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
So that's going to be interesting.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Also coming up something from the past, he was accused
of rape by a woman back in twenty ten. This
woman got a restraining order against him. However, she later
dropped the entire case out of fear for herself and
her child.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
So yeah, his podcast is one of the highest money
making podcasts. He's got a lot of listens on it,
but also a lot of advertising and I don't know
where this will be affecting him as far as that goes.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Yeah, he's up for contract right now, one hundred million
dollars deal on the table.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
From what I hear, amazing, that's huge.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
And Leslie Mojo, I know you're a Real Housewives fan,
So you know real housewife, well, former Real housewife of
Beverly Hills, Brandy Glanville.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Have you seen what's been going on with her?
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Uh, there's been a little bit of a change in
her looks.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Or yes, so she for the past I would say
year now, has been dealing with some sort of disfigurement
of her face. Okay, she had like a The doctors
are stumped, but they think it's some sort of parasite
that she can actually feel moving around in her fail.
She has spent tens of thousands of dollars in and
out of hospitals and going to different doctors to try
(06:43):
to get some answers. Well, she was rushed to the
hospital again this week, unable to move her head and
her neck. She called nine to one one, taken to
the er by ambulance. And she is still battling this
mysterious illness that many believe has been caused by a parasite,
but it has caused severe facial disfigurement, swolen lymph nodes,
(07:04):
and she said she can feel whatever this is in
her face. So she is pleading for answers from sexious
disease specialists right now.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Yeah, they're calling it a fungal infection that she has.
One wonders sometimes if this could be brought on by botox.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Fillers.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Yeah, not just botox, but yeah, I wonder about that
a lot of times.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
It's an autoimmune issue, and I don't think that they
ever get to the heart of that.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
And I think that you. You don't need a regular
doctor for that.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
You almost need somebody that's like a like a holistic
doctor or somebody that looks at you know what.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
That red light therapy has helped her a ton, but
then this setback that happened this week.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Never know what, you don't need everybody's m I'm sorry.
I've seen you.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
I've seen you eat everything the buddies. If it comes
from an established I'll eat it. But if it's from
Sue and Sales, you won't need it.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
I'm a stray.
