Speaker 1 (00:05):
They're Mojo and No Good a lot behind the scenes.
On the More Mojo podcast, Lydia is gonna tell us
who her favorites are. Wit, Could you have favorites?
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Ye Oh, you have favorites.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
I know you have.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
I have no a favorite. Well, this one's gonna be different.
It's gonna be not kids. It'snna be a favorite callers.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
No that.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, I probably do have some favorite callers, but I
don't necessarily know who the callers are usually. Actually, there's
one guy. There's one guy that sounds like he's uh,
we talked to him yesterday. Is it Jason or whatever
the guy's name was. The guy is like, hey, Mojo,
how are you you.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Love baby like Jay?
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Baby Like Jay does call it baby like Jay only
calls at nine every morning.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I love him.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I like him, but he takes a while to get
to the punchline. He's a little in the The first
time we had him on, I was like Huskuy's gold,
and then after that, I feel like he's slowing the
process down. So if you're listening Jay, his laugh.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Makes it better.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Though.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
He does.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Has to be one of your favorite.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yeah, she's one of my favorite texters too.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, you don't necessarily put her on, though not as
much because I think you get annoyed by the machinery
that's working in the background.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
That so there's Carousel Jody.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
I never call her anymore because she's always on the line,
and so that's all I'm hearing is like, so I labeled.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Her as carousel Jody for that reason.
Speaker 6 (01:35):
There's callers that I love to pick up, and we
have one on the line where I know I can
just send him through at anytime.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Then there's callers I don't like to pick up. And
then there's callers that I.
Speaker 6 (01:45):
Know you guys will already see on the board, will
mojo you specifically, and you'll be like, I don't know
if I pick up that call. Yeah, Well one of
those for me, and I'm gonna call him out is Bruno.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
I don't even have to hear him say like two words, and.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
His phone number doesn't need to pop up. I just
know by his voice that it's him.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Is that you see a good caller?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
He said, he's he's mediocre.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Okay, He's also he's also a guy that when I've
picked him up in the past, I feel like Bruno
is sometimes difficult to understand. I feel like I don't
know if he's going to be on topic or off topic. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (02:19):
Can we also explain for people who aren't aware we
Lydia has a screen and Mojo has it as well,
that it's basically a caller ID and she can write
notes in it. So if you've called before, your name
shows up and we can add notes, like you know,
they're a great caller, or she works on the line
and it might be noisy, or they never turn their
(02:40):
radio down, like, we can keep notes in there, so
we know a little bit about you.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
But they're the only ones that I can see it.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, so Megan and Kevin Shannon can't see.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, so I'm going to go back to yesterday. I
think I can pull this up yesterday, called them back
to Oh really, okay, so yesterday.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
And just like your cell phone, there are some that
say don't pick up. Oh yeah, there really are that
say don't pick or it'll say this person. You'll you'll
name somebody like mean girl Dawn. I don't know, we know,
not nice, that's right.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Yeah, I liked. I like TC. That's been a new
one for me.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
It is a good one. She's a good caller.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah's great.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Uh TC is really good. I'm trying to think of
the other person that we call that. It doesn't go
back as far as yesterday. Yesterday we had a call
on when we were what topic were we in in
the eight o'clock or the right before eight o'clock yesterday.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Topic?
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, what was the thing about the about the bathrooms
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Using the woman's bathroom?
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah, the guy had a really good, good line on
that one. He calls sometimes. And then there's the guy
who works at the funeral home. What's the guy's name
that at the funeral home? I don't know, and he
sounds he's like, hey, what's going on. He's he's got
a voice that that's very I always say it's he
would be a perfect voice actor for a cartoon or something.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
What about Pastor Brian, Oh, yeah, good call always because
he just he's kind of raunchy, but he's also a pastor,
so it's kind of fun like that.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
And then there are people like Kennon is actually not bad.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Ken said he knows you.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
I don't know him at all, by the way, did
I tell you that last week? Remember we were having
a call about uh god, what the hell was, and
the guy goes, hey, my brother knows you. I met
that guy out and he came up and he told
the story about Oh, he told the story about his
brother peeing on the person at Pineab and his brother
(04:39):
is a guy I know and is actually his brother
is like literally not kidding you. He's one of the
big executives at one of the biggest companies in the
area here, the the energy drink company. You know what
I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yeah, that's how they bribe me sometimes to get on.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
They'll be like, well, I know Mojo really well, and
I'm like, well, you have seven calls ahead of you,
so you're just.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
Gonna have to or they use his real name, I know, Tom, Yeah,
Tom like that.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Actually, yeah, it doesn't work.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Who are your most annoying callers?
Speaker 6 (05:09):
Michelle is her name, and it's not missfit Michelle.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
And I call her.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
We call her Shelley Whit Okay, why do you not
like Shelley?
Speaker 6 (05:17):
I like her as a person, but what I don't
like is she calls in on every single topic and
it's every single day, and it's like, there's no damn
way you relate to every single thing that we're saying
the entirety.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Of the show.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
We're very relatable.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
We are, but also like do we have we have
hundreds of thousands of people that I would love to
hear from.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
How do you how do you find? How do you
find them? Because I want to look up?
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Here?
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Do I just type in their name?
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yes? You can type in like Shelley?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
And then what do I do? What do I hit?
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Her name? Should just come up?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
And then okay, I'm typing up Shelley. I don't see
uh trying to search.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Don't pick up?
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Okay, don't pick up? There you go, don't.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Don't you're looking in directory?
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Not call oug Okay, okay, hold on, I got it,
I got it right here, don't pick up. Let's see
who all the don't pick ups are.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
We don't call him?
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah, call them?
Speaker 1 (06:09):
We have to? All right, what do I do? Should
they come up?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I think your guys have different erace that Where.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Do I go?
Speaker 3 (06:17):
So backup? Back that up?
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Okay, all out? All right?
Speaker 6 (06:21):
Now just scroll, just scroll because it'll only show you
the entirety of today's Okay, yeah, so you can call
whoever is that don't pick up? And let's see why
we didn't pick them up. They want a contest.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Yeah, it's funny, Okay, Angie, don't pick up? Why do
we not pick up?
Speaker 6 (06:37):
And I don't know why we didn't pick up Angie.
It probably was a repetitive comment, but let's find out.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Oh no, it's no because I I think they won, Amanda,
I don't pick up.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
I don't know why I didn't pick up that Amanda.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
I love what I do like, Oh, here you go, Karen,
don't pick up? Is that the lady who complains on
everything and you call her Karen?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
No, she's an actual, like real name government And.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Then don't pick I like, there's a lot of don't picks.
I'm looking at the calls.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
There's a lot of not nices.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Call one, call it not nice.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I became friends with one of the not nicest, and
that's Michelle.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Oh really, yeah, I buttered her up a little. Here
we go, let's call it don't pick up Rachel. We're
gonna dial her call back, don't pick up Rachel, and
we'll find out why Rachel is a don't pick up.
I do like this call system for a bunch of things,
except for when I'm trying to dial people out. I
(07:31):
missed the old Hello Rachel, Yes, Hi Mojo, Oh my god, Hi, Hi,
I was Did you call the show today?
Speaker 4 (07:43):
No?
Speaker 8 (07:43):
I called last week last week.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Okay, and we're doing it. We're doing a podcast right now.
We're taping a podcast called uh best Callers, Worst Callers.
And for some reason Lydia labeled you as don't pick
up Rachel. And I don't understand why she would say
that about you, because you sound like a friendly human.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
But you do.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
You sound very nice. What did you do, Rachel?
Speaker 5 (08:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (08:07):
Yes, if I was going to be available Tuesday at.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Eleven thirty, what do you mean?
Speaker 6 (08:14):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:14):
So why did she Why did Rachel not?
Speaker 6 (08:16):
Probably called in on a topic last week and it
was a repetitive call, Rachel.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
They're very nice. I can't have the same time.
Speaker 8 (08:24):
I couldn't get through. It was busy, so I was like, okay, well,
if they need me, they'll call me.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
So is is there Do you ever feel insulted if
you don't get on?
Speaker 4 (08:36):
No?
Speaker 1 (08:36):
God, No, okay, So that's sounds amazing.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Are you on every do you think you get on
the show once a week?
Speaker 8 (08:43):
Sometimes?
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (08:44):
I try to call through. I found it. I tried
beating Erica. I actually worked in the same company Erica does.
But she beats you today.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
She sure did.
Speaker 8 (08:56):
On a Friday, and I got the I'd have the
Halle Bear question wrong, and she's met the Saint Patti's
Day question wrong. And then I text every day to
try to win tickets for my husband and my son
to see Jelly Rolla.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Well, we appreciate you calling. We appreciate you being part
of the show.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
Oh, thank you. You guys are amazing.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
We listen to you.
Speaker 8 (09:20):
Gosh, we've listened to you forever and ever since I
Heart radios come out. When we travel or have lived
in other states, we still listen to you on the
Heart radio.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Should be an ad for the iHeart app.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Can do not pick up off your name?
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yes, take take care of yourself. You're no longer do
not pick up now? It's Lydia's mean. Rachel is We'll
talk to.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
You later, mean Rachel.
Speaker 8 (09:42):
I'll take it all right. I love you, guys, I.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Love you all right, Let's call somebody else here. Hold on,
I'm gonna dial up to.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
No.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Let me let me give you guys some insight.
Speaker 6 (09:53):
I don't want the same comment on the show twice,
and I'm very firm on that if I put don't
pick up Rachel because it's because I can pick her
up and say, hey.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Rachel, TC, Hey TC, it's Mojo. Shut up. We're just
we're just calling. We're calling people with our after show podcast.
I said that you're one of my favorite callers that
calls the show.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Oh my god, yeah, are.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
You taking Are you taking a ship or something? What's
going on? What are you doing?
Speaker 4 (10:24):
No, I am at work and work eleven month old
is taking a nap.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
So that's Oh, you're a new mama.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Yeah, said my coworkers. The funniest is your whenever you
call us, you always you always keep Kevin in line.
I like that, Oh.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
My god, Kevin, what's up? Because I met your father
and I understand why you like that. You met the
gas station. I remember I told you I met him
at the station and I talk about he brightened my day,
and I understand.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
You're amazing, TC. We we love you, just y'all bright.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
In my day. I'm trying to you. I'm trying to
tell you because I work at home, my social skills
is a little bit like a little bit of extreme.
When I go out because I'd be happy to be outside,
like you're crazy, and I'd be like, listen, I hang
out round with a lot of kids, so I'm always
(11:34):
enthusiastic about something to keep them inspired.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
You know.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
That's why wait to go on my vacation.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Come in studio sometimes do I?
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Okay, my god, I was just about to send the
young lady who always answers Lydia, Lydia. I was going
to see you a fruit thing from what do you
call that place?
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Gotta.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
I don't eat meat, so I really like hyper send nothing.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
You come down here, you just bring your presence will
be our gift. Okay. They never had cafe, so you
got to send them some of that. Oh god that
the US.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Never so I don't really eat that either, Kevin, Oh
my god, like if you I had to give y'all
some real food. I can cook a little bit, I
think I can.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
What what do you cook?
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Well? What do you cook well?
Speaker 4 (12:38):
I cook standing very well in the oven flame, grill
with lemony.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Okay, he said, you were with kids all the time.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I'll just come over to your place if you cook,
and I'll spend time with you.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
Yes, you think I'm kidding you come over at anytime,
because I would enjoy you. I'll always have next and
fruit and water.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
And I gotta go, I gotta, I gotta go to
the next caller.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
Iulator sometime, we'll talk to you in the morning.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
He gave me who else we got here? Let's see
her the way she is.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
I noticed, how you guys are all quiet? Now?
Speaker 1 (13:27):
She said she was. She was actually no, she was
a very uh, a very. She's one of my favorites. There.
Hold on, let's say, let's see her. We'll call up.
But I'm looking all these numbers. I'm like looking at
these names of these people, Lydia.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
Do you have people like if we're in a bind
and like a lot of people aren't calling, which is rare,
But is there other people that you're like, Oh, I
know they'll have a great comment.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
You have like a list of those people.
Speaker 6 (13:54):
Yeah, I have like a Jennifer, I have Amanda, I
have a Heather, and I've Amy. Okay, yeah, I know
that they'll pick up like anything that I need, and
just in general, like Kendall is a call her named Kendall,
She'll do it for me.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Kendall is a an automatic voice message system. Oh that
person didn't pick her. I was trying to call up
a kool aid lady. She's gonna be so upset when
she finds out I didn't I didn't call her. Hold
on a second, here, what time do you uh? Let's
see m M. It's so funny to randomly call these
(14:30):
people and just say we should do this at the
end of show. Hello, oh, christ my favorite one. This
is one of your favorite callers.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Yeah, I never screened his call, By the way, I
think you know that.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
No, this isn't This isn't Daryl the barber. This is Victor.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
I actually think that that Darryl the Barber is an
A plus. He's like an he always has good stuff.
Whenever keV has a topic with him and say plus,
but misfit Victor. Lydia says, she doesn't even screen your call.
She just puts you on hold. That's a way bad
thing to do with this guy.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Well, I just trust him.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
Well, she doesn't need to scream. I mean, she can
scream a call. But I'm I'm what the smart people
called bilateral, Like I can call and say that I
want to talk about this thing, and then while I'm
on hold listening to the other callers, something else pops
in my mind, so it can change on the fly
(15:21):
with me, or I'll I'll remember something else that was
said on a show from six months ago.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
You remember, I'll bring it back, so Lydia.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
I have that. I have that pornographic memory, and I
just like remember.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Everything, Lydia, do you ever get mad at him for
not staying on the focus of what he was supposed
to talk about, Like he just basically admitted that he's
kind of all over the place with his comments.
Speaker 6 (15:45):
With him, I don't because he's really funny and witty
with what he's saying with other callers.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
It bothers me. I text him sometimes while he's on
with us and say, if you derail this thing with
a fucking Trump comment, I'll see that's different. Yeah, but
that's the thing.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
I've never been dumped. I've never sworn on the air.
I'm quite a professional. I guess call it when it
comes to you guys. But the worst part about it
is there's times where I'm listening to your show and
it's like eight o'clock, eight thirty, and I'm like, I'm
going to call in about this topic, and I'll hang
up and be like, no, if there's a better topic
later that I'll have a better story about that. I
(16:20):
got to call in. I worry about Yeah, I worry
about not being taken twice.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
You listen to the show sometimes on podcast. Does it
ever bother you when you're listening to an old segment
and you don't get a chance to actually comment on it.
Speaker 5 (16:34):
Oh yeah, of course, because I'm like, oh my god,
I have the best story about this or whatever. But
the worst is when I'm listening to it on the app.
Like this morning, I was listening to the app and
the delay was so bad that I was listening to
the throwback throw Down from Friday. That's how late the
delay was. I'd call up sometimes like, Lydia, are they
talking about this? She's like that was like forty five
(16:55):
minutes ago. I'm like, oh shit, yeah. And sometimes the
trick is you have to stop the app and play.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Again, yes, and to reset the app. Yeah. For anybody
that listens to us on the app, you got to
remember that when we go into commercial breaks, it slows
the thing down a little bit because it makes you
play a song during commercial breaks sometimes, and then what
it does is it comes back once the song is
over with, it's I've learned.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
Six songs over and over again.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
They're usually songs we normally don't play. So it's Katy
Perry say.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
Everybody talks about how they are Katy Perry h.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
Tell Tony every single time of song. Every song that plays,
I give it a thumbs sound and hoping that I'll
never hear that is funny.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I wonder if the thumbs down feature works on that.
All right, we're going through some callers here, Victor, you
have a fantastic uh who else we got here?
Speaker 6 (17:51):
Let's see what does that say about my personality that
I don't screen.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
His calling know that she's insane. I don't even I
honestly wouldn't pick him up on speaker with my wife
there because I'd be afraid of some of the stuff
that he would say. I always want to know what
the people who voices guys there, you know, their whole
call why they want to voice this guys, because a
(18:16):
lot of times people will say things, I'm like that
ain't so bad. Why would you care? But there must
be that they have a family member that listens to
the show, that knows that they listen to the show,
and that they call us sometimes, but you know.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
A ton it's their boss.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Oh mom.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Yeah, they'll be like, oh my mom's listening, my boss
is listening.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
I laughed though.
Speaker 7 (18:33):
When somebody asks for voice disguise and then they like
tell us their kids' names, what city they live in,
where they were, I'm like, why are you even voice
disguised at this point?
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Yeah? I uh god, I wish I had that guy's
phone number, because that guy from yesterday was He's one
of those guys. I've never met him face to face,
but the reaction that we had when we saw Poncho,
one of our frequent callers. I would have that reaction
with this guy, Like if he came and started talking
to me, I would look at him and go, that
is not what you're supposed to look like. It's kind
(19:05):
of how people would react when they see us.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
What was his comment? Do you remember? Maybe I can
find him in hip cricket.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
That's texting system, by the way.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yeah, it was it was whatever that I'm telling you.
It was whatever the topic was. It may not have
been Kevin's duty break, it was what was the break
right before the duty break? Was Shannon talking about Smith?
I find a tampon. Yeah, the guy, oh he called
up about the mom walking around with her boobs? Do
you remember that? That's Jordan Jordan?
Speaker 2 (19:40):
What is remember this? Just a goodness Lydia Jordan?
Speaker 3 (19:45):
How do I have his number? Right here?
Speaker 1 (19:47):
I got it? All right here? Dial them up on
how I give you this? I don't know. Let me
look here, let me see. Jordan is the guy who
his voice sounds to me like a uh. His voice
sounds to me like he should be a character and.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
He's not going to be there because all right, here
we go number.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Yeah, this is actually uh, this is the guy. He's
a Is this as fur one? Nine is a Toledo? Right?
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Or yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Okay, yeah, here we go. He uh. He has a
very distinctive sounding voice. Have any people been banned by you?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
No?
Speaker 6 (20:33):
I just don't call them like they have been banned
on our text line though, I just keep dog Dan.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
He's the only one that I keep. That's really mean.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Our old producer used to ban dog Dan. They get
banned for periods of time, like like, well.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
When you say banned, what do you mean blocked?
Speaker 1 (20:48):
They would be basically your band. She would she would
tell them your banned for the next sixty days.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
And like Lydia's blocked people for sure for legal reasons.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
I don't think should.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
We leave him a voicemail?
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah? I love this guy. He always whenever he calls
and he had, he's always like insanely relaxed.
Speaker 8 (21:11):
Leave your message for Dan.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
And ask why he's such a cross.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
That's not him. Hold on, that was a woman's.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
That's his phone number. He's in our system. That's him.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Oh really? Mm hm oh is that his mom, like
his mom's number or something.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
Should call him again? I'm saved in our context.
Speaker 7 (21:28):
You know, what would be funny is to start, like
going back to the producer that banned people, is to
start putting callers who misbehave on probation and see if
they can and say, like, you are not allowed to
call for the next week, because you know they're going
to try to get through, and then we can bust
them through.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
The ones who tell me that they're recording me.
Speaker 6 (21:45):
Like I've had callers who will say mean things and
I'm like, I'm sorry, you're gonna just have to have
a good day, and then they'll call me back and
they'll be like, I was recording you that entire time.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
I'm like, perfect, My boss's email is Tony Trebado.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Oh my god, they're trying to bust you.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
Oh they'll say me mean thing.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I can't imagine you being mean. I can imagine you being.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
Remember.
Speaker 7 (22:01):
Oh yeah, Oh they thought Lydia was a bitch, a
huge bitch.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
So rude, so disrespectful.
Speaker 7 (22:07):
And I knew the backstory, of course, and so did
our boss already, so I encouraged her to please reach
out to our boss.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
So the idea that Shannon has is a good one.
We should find them and ban them and they're fine.
Should be that they have to like volunteer service hours
and prove to us that they like It should be
like school, like we put them in detention, and then
the only way they can get back to us is
if they do certain things like they have to. Okay,
(22:33):
here's the deal. You are banned from us, but now
you've got to call and prank phone call like an
opposing radio station and get on the air with them
and then shout us out. I mean, I think there's
different things that we can come up with that would
be fun. All right, Well, this has been interesting. It's
been interesting to hear of all of the different people
(22:56):
that call and we become almost family with them, right, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (23:01):
They are family, Like I love to hang out with them.
Some of them will go get lunch, we'll text, we'll
send memes. I have a listener who I probably haven't
replied to and like a month yet, and he just
sends me memes every single day. So I just wait
to see you when he'll stop.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Do this for me. Tell everybody here about how many
people have your own personal number?
Speaker 6 (23:20):
Oh my god, I would say listener wise, Well, all
of our contests that we've done in house since I've
become the producer, they all have my personal phone number.
So that's probably about like eighty listeners of my personal
phone number.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
And what's the strangest call that you've ever gotten in?
What time of the day or night has it been.
Speaker 6 (23:35):
I was at the grocery store and someone was calling
me about Tate McCree tickets. Someone called me and was like,
I want Taate McRee tickets. And this was when she
came last year, and I was like, I'm at the
grocery store right now, Like I can you know, get
someone to.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Help you out?
Speaker 1 (23:47):
You didn't you have like a middle of the night
and they just wanted to they like needed somebody to
talk to or something. That's I forget what there was one.
I mean, you get like.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Those to me, I feel like are normal. Those are.
Speaker 6 (24:00):
Like they just want to chat. I've had a few
call me at like nighttime, but it's okay.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
It's funny because prior to Ellen being the producer, we
would have so many different like interns kind of running
the phones, and I don't think that you get the
same vibe that you get when Ellen and Lydia do.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
It that they at the same point person every day.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Got to And honestly, I learned that really late in
uh in my career that I wish I would have
changed that earlier. Yeah, because I think it's important. I
think I think the calls are the most important part.
So all right, well, I got a team's call that
I've been laid for right now, I'm eleven minutes late
for so I'm gonna have to jump on right now.
And that does it for.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
This podcast, Lydia.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Yeah, if you would like to ever be a caller
