Speaker 1 (00:04):
Let me know when you're ready.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I bet that's a good start.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
This is Tanner, Drew and Laura's Donkey Show, Donkey Show.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
What's Up Kidos?
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Thank you for checking out Tanner, Drew and Laura's Donkey
Show podcast. Oh heard online at one of five nine
in the brew dot com, our, iHeartRadio app or wherever
you listen to podcasts. It's just the three of us today.
I'm Tanner, Drew's here, Laura's here. Court is still at
the Motu Center and you know they're celebrating right now.
We're recording us at about ten to fifteen in the morning.
In April thirtieth, beef Water just wrapped up as One
(00:39):
man March. He made it to the motor Center at
about nine forty two and Court was with him. So
they're still down there and they're going to be coming back.
Court's probably on his way back now because he's got
a show to do.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
But yeah, but they were on the news like four
minutes ago, so we probably won't get him for the podcast.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
You know, they won't be here today.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
But I'm so proud of, so proud of beef Water,
and so grateful to the listeners and so grateful to
the businesses to step up like the Blazers and shake Shack.
It's really cool. And again we put this together in
like ten days.
Speaker 6 (01:09):
M Yeah, and it really stemmed from just like one idea.
Like I guess it's only been about a week and
a half ago, which is crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Casey was like, hey, I got this idea.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
What do you think of this? And we're like, that's awesome.
Is there enough time to do it this month because
it was already like halfway through the April at that point.
Speaker 6 (01:27):
Yeah, And he said He's like, well, I was thinking
maybe we'd like do it next year, and then we
made it happen.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, next thing, you know, like Cork goes, hey, we're
doing that next week. Yeah, and we were like, oh awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
I love the faceless donations too, because we had so
many donations. We had some big donations. We may have
even had a thousand dollars donation, but all of those
donations were done without any fanfare, right, so not one
person gets the oh, well Tony gave a thousand, but
he wants you to know he gave a thousand. They
all gave out of their heart and heart alone, and
(01:59):
that's to me that's even a better form of charity.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Sure, yeah, it shows that they really care. So, Laura,
what's our final total as of April thirtieth at ten
to seventeen in the morning.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Are a final total? And it's still going up because
we just got another twenty bucks, but it is six
five hundred and sixty dollars and.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
That's it again, not including the shake Shack money that
we earned yesterday.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
Correct, So we're going to hit seven. Absolutely, it's so good. Yeah,
which is which is great. And you can still donate
at one O five nine the brew dot com if
you missed out today.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
And I know it's ridiculous because those guys just walks
ten point four miles. But like, so much was going
on in the studio today, Like I'm worn out well,
and I.
Speaker 6 (02:36):
Think even just the beginning, thinking that you know, the
Instagram live wasn't going to work and it kind of
got started on a stressful note, but it all worked out.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Let's talk about that.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
So we had been planning this, like we said, for
about ten days and the whole plan was to go
live on Instagram. Everyone here at the radio station has
access to the brus Instagram account. You know, we got
one password for everybody, but you know, like every other
business or radio station, a lot of people have access
to it.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
A select group of people, which happens to be all
of us.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
And because our Instagram account has been growing lately, especially
the last week because of the walk, all of a sudden,
Instagram said you've reached a certain amount of followers where
it's time to protect your account a little bit more.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
And they did that. They did that by locking all
of us out.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
It just locked us out, and then there was a
two step identification two step authentication is what it was, or.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Something to a third party, whereas in I couldn't authenticate
my own we had to do it through your phone
or whatever. Like I've never even heard of that.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
So I had to doubt.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
They asked me to download an app yesterday, like download
this extra app.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
I didn't want to do that, so I tried it.
Speaker 6 (03:37):
It's strange because we never ended up actually having to
do that.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah, I tried to work around it. So I was
just doing the thing where it would just text me
codes and the original phone number was not my phone number,
and I didn't know what it was, so I just
typed in my number because I thought it would do
this for everybody, They'll type in their own number.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
And then that it would be independent.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
So well, once I typed in my number, it switched
to everything, and so everyone is trying to log in
this morning, and it would say, all right, we sent
you a co to your phone, and it would send
it to my phone, and Casey was like down in
the parking lot.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
And the codes weren't coming in in time. Like if
you send a code to my phone when we're getting
into email here, it buzzes within six seconds. These were
like coming into Tanner's phone like seven minutes after they
were requested, which isn't good for troubleshooting, right.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
And then.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
Once we would get the code, then we'd type it
in and they'd be like, oh, but now you have
your code's expar yeah, so then you'd have to go
back into it again. I mean we all. I think
it was just a matter of being patient with it,
which is hard to do when you're on a fear
ime crunch.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
But I think it's crazy how powerful they are. But
Meta has got so many glitches, like Instagram is shit
in terms of video editing, in terms of just operating
the thing will crash all the time, couldn't refresh all
the time.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
There's so many problems with.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
The high failure rate, and you don't see those things
with Instagram or sorry with TikTok. With TikTok, like the
editing's really smooth and it doesn't crash.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
Yeah, you know that.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Facebook and Instagram just need to get it together. So anyway,
it took us like fifteen minutes to log into the
Instagram account this morning.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
I was thinking it wasn't gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
At one point, I.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Was kind of thinking the same thing.
Speaker 6 (05:10):
It was stressing about it, yeah, which I think was
it was just a matter of keep calm and carry on.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
And Lord, you did such a good job of person
an impression of me this morning when I'm mad.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
Yeah, you want to do it again? For I can't
throw things, so I'll just leave throws. I'm just kidding. Uh,
are you fucking came? We've been working We've been working
on this all day. I can't believe this is this
always happens to us ready of course.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Today and I know that day. The line are you
fucking kidding me? Is the line I always like, are
you kidding me? That's the line I always drop, whether
it's under my breath, through my teeth, at the top
of my lungs. Yeah, because I'm blown away all the time.
And it was not fair because it was five either
five eighteen or five twenty and I said, we were
all in here like working on it, and I was like,
let's just sign in now, And so that was half
(05:59):
an hour a worth of us trying to sign in
before it got late. Like, yeah, it wasn't like we
did this at at five point fifty five. We started
at five twenty five, right, Yeah, so it's not fair.
Zuck Yeah, yeah, Zuck, Fuck.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
You, Zuck.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Fuck.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
That's really annoying. But I heard he got in there.
Speaker 6 (06:18):
He's probably listening to he was listening through our phones
right now and he's we're never getting back into Instagram
if it.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Makes you feel anybody was doing a he was doing
a podcast. I think it was with THEO Vaughn. I
saw that they were talking about how awkward they are
and they were like fighting about who's more awkward, and Zuck, well,
I don't, He's not my cup of tea. I thought
it was funny. He's like, I'm the most awkward the
Internet discusses every day. Whether or not I'm a robot.
What do you think that does for my mental health?
Speaker 6 (06:44):
Yeah, well, like a robot.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
So I'm sure that he is awkward. I'm sure there's
an emotional program he can download into his interface.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
Yeah, uploading now, uploading, feeling.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I'm looking at the Instagram feed. I'm not seeing the
video yet.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
They might not have saved it.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I'm gonna I'm gonna how many times did I tell them?
How many times did I say, don't click the save video?
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Yeah, and I'm not sure if there's a way that
we can get it back.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Oh my god, I'm gonna fuck.
Speaker 6 (07:09):
But then again, it was a four hour Instagram feed,
so maybe it's still uploading. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Let me call case rendering because I told him be careful,
make sure you hit this hit the save video link
at the end so we can say, see the video later.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
And I do you wonder too if it has something
to do with the fact that it got knocked out
of his hands at the end and it may have
just ended on I.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Don't know if that phone is really broken. It seems
like it is.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
He seemed pissed about it.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Yeah, at the.
Speaker 6 (07:41):
End, the phone was like I feel like it was
an older iPhone.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
When he got to the finish line, Blaze was so
excited the maskot for the Doug for he knocked the
phone out of his hand.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Those squadch hands. What are you gonna do?
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah, I'm calling Casey right.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
I do love how it was at the very end.
I mean better the very end than the very beginning.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
I guess cracks in for four hours.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, it's probably still celebrating.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
He's in, he's in, He's on.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
In La La Land pop and Shampa.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
I'm call Court.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I wanna be so upset if that's what happened. Oh
my god, I know.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
So you're not even gonna need Laura's impression. You're just
gonna do it.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
It's gonna do it live on the Donkey Show.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
I mean, things happened, but like also, I think, how
many times do I have to? Probably?
Speaker 6 (08:25):
I think probably other people were taping the end with.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
The collective age, but the the live stream, Yeah, hey
is this Court?
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Hey, buddy, do you know if you guys saved the
live video when you were done with it?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
I will, okay, because I'm.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Not hearing any of that. You're gonna have to start over.
Court because your phone is bullshit.
Speaker 7 (08:50):
Well, it's because I'm in the back of the back of.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
The he's being smuggled back.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
There wasn't enough room in the front. You had to
go in the back, all right, sorry, go ahead.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
So, yeah, it did not happen because as Casey was
crossing the finish line, Doug fur the Blazer mascot, reached
out thinking him, you know, high five or something like that,
and smacked his phone out of the little holder and
it hit the ground and when he picked it back up,
the screen was just garbled gobbledygook. So he couldn't save
(09:23):
anything because he can't see anything on the screen.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Yeah, and that's why he couldn't answer a second ago.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah, he's he has no idea.
Speaker 7 (09:34):
I mean, his phone is garbage right now.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
I mean seemed to be fair. I have told Casey
Beef Waterway in the past, you should probably put a
case on that thing.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
Because he's one of those guys who doesn't rock a
case on.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Is he raw dog that thing?
Speaker 5 (09:46):
What is he doing?
Speaker 4 (09:48):
And so we lost the live stream.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Probably we don't know yet.
Speaker 7 (09:53):
I mean, well maybe once the phone starts back up again,
we can we can see.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
But right now, it looks like it's done.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Doug, You fucking Doug, got you chop that fucker down
right now.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Man.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
The perfect storm, I mean it was almost a perfect day.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
It is almost.
Speaker 6 (10:12):
But you know what, here's the thing about that. It's
called a live stream, and if you miss it, you
miss it. You know at a certain.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Points that's not that.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
We're in the business of doing things and then sharing
it over and over again until people hate us.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
That's what we did.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
We'll do that. We can share Fox twelves.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, and I figured that's what we can do, is
share the Fox twelve footage. But dude, I mean that's
four that's four hours of content down the drain because
a tree was bouncing around.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
Let's actually, I got it.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
I got a bunch of video. I got a bunch
of video.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
I can use my video.
Speaker 7 (10:45):
There's a little bit of video that I have so
I can string something together there. But nobody was gonna
watch the full four hours of him walking.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Down I know, I just wanted it there. People are
gonna skim through it and watch a little bit of it.
I mean, that's that's what the streams are up there for,
you know, that's why we I mean it's listen, it
is what it is.
Speaker 6 (11:03):
But you know, when we set appointments like that, it's
all about the urgency. So I mean, you miss it,
you miss.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
Ideally we'd like to have it, is what he's getting at.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
You know, Well, ideally we don't have it, so it
just couldna have.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
To make I'm just I know, I'm zinking about it
for a second. You know, I'm pissed. That's like, it's
not a big deal. I mean, it's still awesome.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
It's just like I'm just trying to get the I'm
trying to get you to get angry.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
I'm I'm at my peak right now.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
It is whether are you in kidne me that eat
the peak?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
No, I'm fine, I'm fine.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
I just the day is a success. The live stream
would have been good to have, but you know, I'm
not sure that I've ever gone back and watched more
than a minute of one of the not ours I
know one.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
But guys, but listen, you guys understand this. I'm not
explaining this to you. But for people who missed the show,
they could catch it. That's what it's for and on
demand content, and it's just it's no big deal. We'll
make fun of ourselves tomorrow about it. It's just and
it's and again not Casey's faults. Really, nobody's fault.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
It's an accident.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yeah, but it just but you know, bums me out.
It's fine, I'll I'll drink it off later tonight.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
A little butterfingers over there at the motor center.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Is are you sir? Are you in the back by yourself?
Or is everyone else in the front?
Speaker 6 (12:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (12:15):
No, I'm back here by myself.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Poor courts got the shipped into the stick today? Is
it just pitch black? Is there an opening?
Speaker 6 (12:22):
Uh? No?
Speaker 7 (12:23):
I can see a little bit of light around the door.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Wow, we didn't think this part through right, Like, how's
everyone gonna get back? Held cap?
Speaker 5 (12:32):
I don't know how many times back in the day
they just threw us in the back though you always
tet home, dude.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
I remember my day when I went to daycare as
I This is probably some of my first memories. I
was probably what three or four or something, but I
remember she would have a she had a big van
and the whole thing was like shag carpet side like
the ceiling, the floor of the walls, everything pimping and
she probably put like nine of us kids back there
with no no seat.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
Belts or no seats, different times, different.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
And she would just dry down the road and I
remember we would like she would take a turn and
we would run to this one side of the of
the van, you know, and like feel the gravity of
it and everything totally safe, you know, when kids just
bouncing through the Yeah, it's like crazy that in the eighties.
Is that's what happened. But and i'd also wht boogers
all over that shag carpet. I remember that.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
You know, my mom ran a daycare. She had one car,
and there was like there was at times there were
like fifteen to twenty kids and sometimes you had to
go somewhere, so station wagon it is.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah, had seat belts. They were just throwing back in
a van like cargo.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
But when you got twenty kids and six seat.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Belts, I guess the kids are squeezed in there. Yeah,
that was the thought, just pack them in. Yeah, we
were just loose, loosely thrown the back loose kids all right.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Core.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Well, I was going to say, pass the fun to
the beef, but you're you're in the back of the
brew van with all the cargo by yourself.
Speaker 7 (13:52):
Yeah, if you can. If you happen to have Chad
doing phone number chat's driving Casey back to the station.
Speaker 5 (13:59):
So Chad came out.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
That's okay, all right, buddy.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Well, thank you for everything today, man, And I know
you're tired too because you walked with Casey. You're a
hero all time, so we appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
I'm glad to have done it.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
So that's what happened to the live stream. If you
look for it, it's not up because got swatted. Yeah,
Doug Fer knocked the phone down, cracked Casey's phone.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
It looks like he's gonna have to get a new one.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Today, which is it's like an iPhone for so it's time.
Speaker 6 (14:26):
Yeah, it's it's it's still had rounded edges. Old, let
me call it.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
I'll call Chad and you can pass the phone to
Bed because I've bet Beef is kind of hot about that.
I don't imagine.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
At least after all that walk and they let him
out of shotgun if he was in the.
Speaker 6 (14:42):
Bed of that yeah, if he was in the back
of the brew and be like, what the probably rubbing
his dogs?
Speaker 5 (14:50):
I bet they're barking. Oops, those sharp teeth on there.
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Oh my god, get those things away from men.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
He throws one of the in your lap.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
Oh no, thank you. Maybe his wife will give him
a foot massage to the I can't.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Believe we lost that whole video whole four hours because
you hear me a whole four hours.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Hey, is this Chad?
Speaker 5 (15:19):
It is Hey Chad.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
It's Tanner, Drew and Laura.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
What's up? Yeah, Katie, his phone is dead.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
That's what we heard. Could you hand on the phone.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
For a second. Absolutely, thanks brother, good afternoon. Hey man,
we heard the phone actually is completely could put.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Yeah, it's it's really good.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
Oh all right.
Speaker 6 (15:39):
So I don't want to add insult to injury here,
but like I noticed, it didn't have a case on
it this morning.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Yeah, I don't think it would have. I don't think
it would have helped. It was just it hit just
perfectly on the corner. And I'm gonna go and get
me a screen for the other I don't think it's
uh te host. I think it's need to go get
me a screen.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
But the case would have detected that. That's what they're for.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah, yeah, my phone was already beat to death. So
I've just been prolonging not having to get a new phone.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
Well, I'm sorry about your phone.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I appreciate the that you did the walk this morning,
but it sounds likely after all that, it sounds like we.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Lost the four hour video because of Doug fur I guess.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Yeah, we're going to go to small club squirt. We had.
We had it on on camp. There's no way around it.
He's guilty and I'm gonna take him for every Nicholas.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
I saw the video.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
I actually looked at the video at the moment it
fell to the ground and it just did that like
you know when it falls for like a plane or something,
and there is that spiral, and I saw that and
then it just went black.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
We went concrete.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah, I guess it was concrete for a bit and
then then you know, then the camera feed just went
just died. But yeah, I think we lost the feed
unless you get that thing working and it's still up there.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
And you can say that because I don't think so,
because it would be on I feel like we'd be
able to find it. Anybody who could access the Bruce
Instagram would be able to find Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Well we made it to the end, and that's the
important part. We've got a lot of coverage.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, we can run the footage from Fox twelve on
the on the internet and on the radio.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
Moment Court and Susan have some footage we can string up.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Yeah, oh yeah, like there's there's footage. The Court took
a bunch, so we got we got a lot, uh
to pull aprop perfect there.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
You go say we don't need that live stream Tanner, Yes.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
We did, and it's fine that's missing. But the fact
that it's gone is still a big chunk out of
my side.
Speaker 5 (17:35):
It's a could go wrong.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
It will go wrong. It's the truth. It's the truth.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
But it is, you know, to Casey's point, it is done,
and I'm super stoked that it's done, and I'm so
grateful to the listeners, and I'm uh so proud of you, Casey,
and I just you know, it couldn't have been better. Honestly,
other than those a few little technical difficulties, it couldn't
have been better because uh, so many businesses got involved,
so many people felt it, you know, they felt how
(18:02):
real it was for Casey, and if.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
It wasn't for Zuck and Doug, this thing would have
been the smoothest thing we've ever he.
Speaker 6 (18:08):
But I mean, even so, it was an incredible day.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Zuck and Doug fucked us.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
Duck sucked us.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
It really, it's an incredible thing. But life, I'm in
that post made now of where my body's trying to
figure out what just happened and then and then like
just trying to process everything that happened, like I'm blown away,
and like I was, maybe the news will show up.
I didn't expect the news to ride through the whole morning. Yeah,
(18:40):
you know, so all of that stuff, like did I
think we would get to five thousand dollars? But I
was kind of pie in the sky crushed it. I mean,
so my head's just kind of spinning at this point.
I'm I'm thoroughly impressed. Uh dude, it's all huge. Thanks
to you guys. You gave me an incredible opportunity platform
to promote the thing, and it worked and our audience
(19:06):
just came alive, dude, And it just goes to show
you when when it's the right thing, it's going to go.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
And big ups to Casey for being the only person
who said the radio station's name live on the air
this morning.
Speaker 6 (19:18):
Yeah, I appreciate the only person we needed.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
I made sure to stay the station name and undit
my jacket so the logo had to be seen.
Speaker 5 (19:27):
Yeah, you did a good job.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
I don't know why they do it to us. I
don't think it's anything like like like I Vendetta or anything.
I think it's because of time and I think it's clutter.
Yeah to them, they think.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
They do it on purpose half the time.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah, but in that live shot and I'm going, all right,
I'm gonna get the website in there. I'm gonna I'm
gonna do what I can. So it was great. But seriously,
thank you all for you had. You gave me support
from the very first minute, and Drew coming out last
night with the fam like all that shit means a ton.
So thank you all.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
Well, thank you, and yeah, we'll see you when you
get here.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
And we love you, buddy. Thanks for doing it.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
And tomorrow we'll talk to you in the studio. See
how those feed are filling A day after the big event.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Okay, I'm turning it now, so I'll pop up and
see you all right.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Sounds good, Bee Flater ladies and gentlemen, He's done a
hometown hero. He's done hometown Heroah.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
He should go hang his head high tonight, or hold
his head high, don't hang it? No hanging, Yeah, exactly,
it would be Unfortunately he didn't make it as something else,
but he made it.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
I do hear.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
I do see some talkbacks that we haven't heard on
the radio. Me check these out. Hey, there's a business
owner out there somewhere that needs to match this thing,
because you can write it off on your taxes, just
like they do those expensive cars at the auction.
Speaker 5 (20:48):
Go for it. Somebody out there has got the money.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
That'd be cool.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
You know.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
The link is still up online at one of five
nine the dot com if you'd like to donate to
Autism Society of Oregon. So yeah, if there's somebody wants
to come in and matt that, that'd be fine.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Every dollar counts, all right, big or small?
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Well, what else? I think we've done it all today,
you guys. I'm beat, really am done with you people.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
We took it to the limit.
Speaker 6 (21:14):
We did.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
Yeah, take it to the live head. How do you
feel about it all?
Speaker 6 (21:20):
I feel pretty great about it. I am really really
impressed at the amount of money that our listeners help
us raise. I am a little bummed out that I
missed my window by three minutes.
Speaker 5 (21:36):
Honestly, it could have been even worse for you. If
they didn't hold him up at the bridge.
Speaker 6 (21:41):
You still would have won, though, or I think was
the winner far and square.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Nine delay, I think that would have been at thirty three.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Still would that was a good little window.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Got lucky. I thought for sure it was Tanner in
the beginning.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
I should have picked that window.
Speaker 5 (21:59):
Well, here's the other thing that screwed you.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
They went around the wrong side of the They took
the long way, and then he just watched it off.
He's like, no, no, no, it was just right around. No,
It's like it adds another five or six milis and
then you're on the back side.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
They wouldn't have gotten the coverage from Fox twelve. If
they would have gone around you, they.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
Would have ran.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
That must have been why they had to do it,
just because they were on that side.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
But it would have been either Court or Drew Tanner.
You and I never had a chance at this thing.
I don't think, well, it's really too bad.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
But all that matters is that final number is massive.
Speaker 6 (22:29):
Yeah, because when we put all that, when we pull
all of our money together, we're going to bump that
amount up even higher.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Yeah, and the shakeshot cash.
Speaker 6 (22:37):
Yeah, it's been an impressive and uh yeah, I don't know,
it's it's been a cool day for sure, to see
what people can do when they all come together for
a common cover bringing.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
It Well, that does it for us?
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, no, thanks to the Zuck fuck crew were screwing
up our live stream, so that's why you don't see that,
and that's why we were a little late. But other
than that, it was perfect, good game, folks, good weather,
and that's about it.
Speaker 6 (23:03):
Yeah, you know what I blame, Yeah, I blame Zuckerberg
for forget Doug Fer. You know they should just meant well,
Zuck just we should save like to draft you know,
the live stream instead of you know, yes or no,
just saved to draft.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Doug Fer was you know, he was just excited to
be fatter made in those minutes of his Blame them.
But I know me too, all right, so there's some
behind the scenes of me getting hot, but it was
for ten days. I would have never imagined that we
would have checked this many boxes. So uh, definitely over
(23:39):
over the top victory. All right, we're done. We'll see
tomorrow for another show. We'll have tickets to creed. So
listen and.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
You've been listening to Tanner, Drew and Laura's Donkey Show,
heard daily at one oh five nine that brew dot com.
May God have mercy on all of our souls.
