Producer Anthony Dane, This is Wild. There was a recent
surprise delivery for a mom and Harris County deputies. So
the deputies over at Cypress Wood Station along with ems,
were dispatched to a home for a disturbance. What they
found was a woman who looks at them and says, uh,
there's a baby coming right now. They said the mother
didn't even know she was pregnant, didn't even look pregnant,
and they didn't believe it, but Deputy Christina Williams said,

seeing the shock on dad's face, that's when they were like, Okay,
let's get our gloves on, do whatever we need to do.
They said it was laser focus with deputies and paramedics
on the scene, that contractions came quick and in a
matter of a few pushes, baby girl comes into the world,
safe and sound. Deputy Williams said they were all so happy.
She actually felt like an anti and since his birth
came as a surprise, the deputies have started a fundraiser
for baby items. Fellow deputies have already contributed clothes and diapers,

and anyone else look at support can make donations at
the Harris County Cypress Wood Station up in Spring. With
great job, deputies bringing new life into the world.

You know, I entered in I got some gas this
morning at Pinoak at the HGB there.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
I even entered in the wrong zip code for my
credit card. Oh, I've done that. The card was declined.
I'm like, what's going on? I need gas. You're like, oh,
you got to remember the numbers. I'm thinking, did I
lock my car? What the heck? So I'm not the
one to do it. I'd be such a mess.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
But anyway, we're asking you about your tax day strategy.
We've got Jessica. Now are you, like, do you procrastinate?
What's your tax day strategy?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I'm one of those like rare people that actually fired
the file the mic the men it they said, okay,
it's time to start filing.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
No, how did you become that person?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Well, I want to say probably after I had my daughter. Yeah,
it's like, you know, I wanted to make sure everything
was done and I found it correctly.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
And since then I've been doing it like that every year.
You are, so why I'm a rare breed.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
You are because you've got no stress like the rest
of the America.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah no, But like my husband, I'm going.

To follow his extension today because he's like the procrastinator.
I'm the one that actually hasn't done already.

Oh my gosh, I that he just can't.

I bet he just looks at you and goes like this,
huh do you think you're all high and mighty.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
According to him? Of course with me, I only care
about myself, not him, because I didn't help him get
hit doney right away.

Yad's good. That is hilarious. What's your husband's name, Gabriel?
And how long have you and Gabriel been marriorried? Fourteen years?

I bet he relies on you for just about everything,
doesn't Oh.

My goodness, she's my second child. Was waiting for it, Jessica.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Well, what advice would you offer to people so they
never have to go like as your life becomes so
much better because you just knock out your taxes the
minute you hear it.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yes, it is. It's the last and half to do.
I don't have to do this scrambling do they on
my extension?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Or trying to wait in line at the post office
and all of that.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah, you're a smart lady, really wise woman. Your your
daughter will learn a lot from you. Just knock it
out and move on with your life.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Exactly, exactly.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
That's excellent, Jessica. I have to ask you this, are
you do you have to pay? Are you getting a refund?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
No?

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Get in a refund.

For her hard workllelujah. That's excellent, Jessica. And if it's
not enough, you know we can add to your refund.
You know, we started up our work one thousand dollars
workday bonus again.

Yes, right, yesterday.
