In like the Astros, and tip off is at seven
fifty tonight. The party downtown at Avenida Plaza begins at
six thirty and this is gonna be fun when it

family friendly restaurant concept called Recess. Now this is described
as a children's retreat upstairs is going to be like
a bistro overlooking the play area. The play area downstairs
nine thousand square feet dang fun amusements and fully supervised.

ball boy and he's so excited to be watching this

whole incredible season unfold. He is learning so much and
getting so inspired by our Koogs, and he needs a
little bit of a distraction because he's been dealing with
major health issues. He's got a kidney condition and lupus,
and he's become really close with coach Sampson and guard

Emmanuel Sharp. Jay said that the team is like a family.
The coaches like Grandpa, the players are like his brothers,
and he's currently in remission and players for Jason. He
stays that way and good luck to the Coogs.

Tonight producer Anthony Dane seems like we're all in sync
to dominate sports right now. Our Coog's in the NCAA
championship game, and we've got some local high schools crushing
it in the world of soccer. We had eleven schools
from our area that played in the high scho state semifinals.
Three of those won to advance to the state championship
game in Georgetown this coming weekend. Alit Elsick and Cline
Kane won on the boy side, and the Stratford girls

punched their ticket to the state title championship for the
first time in school history. So Stratford's going to be
playing Flower Mount Marcus on Saturday at eleven am Georgetown,
High School for the six A Division two State championship.
On the boys side, it's going to be all Houston Area.
In the six A Division one state finals. A lead
Elsick will be facing Cline Kane a lait. Elsick, by
the way, heads to the state championship game for the

fourth time in school history, looking to win its first
state championship since twenty eighteen. Clin Kane and versus el
Sick will be Saturday night at six point thirty in Georgetown. So,
great job and good luck to our Houston area schools
looking to clench their place in soccer history. Isn't it

So he has a dream to be a comic artist,
and not only is he fulfilling his dream, he's making
a living at it. Chris Borman, He's a sketch artist
for Marvel Comics. He hails from Channel View. He is
a phenom. He makes these Marvel sketches that are unbelievable
for fans. He goes to conventions. You can commission him,

and his sketches are so intense and detailed. Someone asked
him how long it takes him to do just one sketch.
He says about an hour. I mean, it's like definitely
his calling. His parents have his first it was his
very first drawing was of Aquaman. They got it all
locked up. They knew that his son had an amazing talent.
He says, he just loves spreading positivity one drawing at

a time. He has been a Marvel sketch artist since
two thousand nuns. That's so cool, cool, so Chris Foreman, amazing.

Where were you? I mean my son and his kids
this his parents in law were in We're over there.
They had the most fun. Where were you guys watching it?

I watched it from home.

Yeah, okay, did you think they were out? I mean
they were down most of the game.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yes, it wasn't looking too good, but never lost hope,
So that's always a chance. All right.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
So what's what's your plan for today? What are you
going to be doing tonight?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I'm going to watch the championship game.

I love it. You guys have some snacks planned. You're
gonna have people over. Its just gonna be kind of
family time.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
It's just family. It's just it's a Monday. Uh yeah,
We're definitely gonna have snacks and a lot of other
