In the wake of an unthinkable tragedy, we're taking a
moment to honor the lives lost in last week San
Diego plane crash, six members of the rock and mellow
community who meant so much to so many. In the
early hours of Thursday, May twenty second, a private cesson
a five fifty jet crashed in the Murphy Canyon neighborhood
while attempting to land at Montgomery Gives Executive Airport. The
crash sparked fires that damage multiple homes and vehicles, forcing

nearby families to evacuate. Among those who tragedally lost their
lives were members of the South Talent Group, team of
beloved former band member, a respectable photographer, a software engineer
who also shared close ties to the music world. David
Shapiro worked with a plethoro of musical artists throughout his career,
from his time with Equal Vision to his own record label,
Velocity Records, and the Sound Talent Group he co founded

back in twenty eighteen. Daniel Williams was a former drummer
of the Devil Wars product, having played in the group
since the formation in two thousand and five until his
departure in twenty sixteen. His drumming could be heard on
two of the band's biggest and most successful albums, with
to Bub and the Branches Below and Deadthrone. Selina Kenyon,
Emma Hook, Kendall Fortner, and Dominic Damien were also lost
