I had this situation happened to me over the weekend

And I got this call from Peggy. Peggy, how about you?

Actually? Just today, I'm a high school English teacher and
we were talking about midterms and the kids were asking
what can they bring if they finish early? So they
were talking about video games and whatever, and then one
of them, I guess, got a little funny. What would
you bring to play?

With mitts PETI, Oh no, what was your answer, I joked.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
And I said, the water ring talk game.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
That's good, good memory too.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Yeah, we had to look it up.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
They had no idea what I was talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
That's so funny.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I remember playing that in like doctor's offices every time
I went to the doctor. That's the only toy they
had like to play was the water ring toss game, right.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Water ringtoss and the kids should have thought that with hilarics.
Well was followed like, well, yeah, back in the day.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
It's what we had, right. It's right. You gotta make
do with what you have, right, all right. So here's
my story.

This happened on Saturday at the Ravens tailgate, one of
our part time promotions. People lovely girl, her name is Ava.
Totally calling her out right now. I don't know if
she's listening.

But we were talking about Billboard.

Billboard released their top Artist, Top Songs, Top Albums of
the century so far, and we were just talking about that,
and then we started talking about music videos and she goes, wait,
wasn't there like a whole TV channel that just played
music videos? I was like, oh my gosh, who don't
know about MTV like, Am I that old that this
person doesn't even remember a day when MTV like actually

played music videos? That was my moment, all right, So

old when my thirteen year old son grew a foot
in one year and was able to pick me up
and spin me around like I was a lightweight.

could be really beneficial down the line if he can
carry you.

My name is Rachel Green, and I noticed that ever
since I was eleven, people attributed that to friends because
that was Rachel's name on friends. I get that, But
this person says that they've worked in high schools middle
school now and no one says that anymore. I guess
the younger generations haven't adopted friends quite quite as much.

Told my husband I had found one of my old
burn CDs from high school, and my fifteen year old
asked why I'd keep a melted and burnt CD. He
had no idea, and we had to explain the entire process.
He thought we were nuts. Oh boy, kids, kids today,
they do not know what it.

Was like to have to deal with burn CDs, right.
I used to love doing that.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Also, somebody texted, how many commercials are you going to.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Play between songs? I will play as many commercials as
my company tells me to play. That's the answer to
that question.

Well, it's been quite a few years ago, but my
daughter was talking to her girlfriend on the phone and
they were talking about this movie that this song was
playing then, and she says it was a ball I said,
that's a good ball. That's an OP fault because I
just came out in the movie. I'm like, well, no,
that doesn't make it. I said, I actually have it

with eight tracks. It's a truck.

To tell her, just be thankful. You don't know what
a track is, y I know. I am so glad
I missed out on the eight trucks. Let me tell
you that.

Also. I think this person's name was Kendra.

We didn't have a great connection, but I wanted to
make sure I played this, so, uh, Kendra, what is
up with you?

Trust me? How old I'm getting?

Every day?

I fell over the weekend and could knock it up.
You know, you don't know when you're phone.

And you can't get up by these Well, at least
you're at least you still don't have the you know,
the button, the necklace button that you have to press.

You still were able to get up eventually, right.

Yours older than I am, but I'm gonna order you.

Okay, I've been having some fun talking about the last
time something or someone made you feel old. Got a
couple more text messages here to go through this and says, Hi,
when you can know longer sit on the floor to
wrap Christmas presents. Apparently the holiday season was not great
for this listener. Also, when I started hearing music, they
came out when I was in high school on the
classic rock station that was wild right, Oh my gosh,

I heard Nirvana.

I'm like a classic Ish rock station.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I was like, really, this is classic rock now, oh Man.

I'm saying, Pierre, I want to go back to the
phone here because I had a nice chat with a
good guy named Dan.

You were You were saying, is there any time when
I felt old? And I guess when I started to
talk to my coworkers And they were born when I
graduated in high.

School, so that kind of put it in perspective. That's
really funny.

We had a girl win the tickets yesterday and she
was born in two thousand and one, and I was like,
oh my gosh, Like, you were born in two thousand
and one and you're already a professional and have a
real job.
