Harry Styles one of two point sevenkiss. Even every time we say gen
Z, I get a little bummedbecause didn't I miss it by like three
years? Uh No, you actuallymissed millennials years. However, I still
feel like I'm part of both.Yes, exactly, I'd like to be
a CUSP member. So when Iwas growing up, the cool place to
go was the mall, and thecool thing to do is get dropped off,

(00:21):
roam around the food court, goto a movie, hang out,
and then have your mom pick youup. Yes, you'd have to use
I'd have to use the payphone, put a corner in the call and pick
me up should come. All thekids be at the front door of the
mall, get back into station wagons, and you go home. That was
like you were an adult if youcould be dropped off at the mall exactly.
Julia's hot Dog on a stick, the American Cookie Company, Oh it

(00:41):
kiss me chills, hair stand upon my forearms talking about it. So
now gen Z to the rescue. They're making malls cool again, I think
so. I mean for years we'vebeen hearing that they're dying, and we've
seen a few of them shut downor they're deserted. They've been converted into
Halloween stores sometimes like around that thetime of year. But retail experts are
saying that zoomers have helped mals bounceback and especially after the pandemic, because

(01:07):
the digital space has turned them intoa generation that expects instant gratification. Yeah,
and you can think TikTok for thator whatever. But when they see
something, they want something, andthey want it now, can touch it
easy? Not quick enough to comeon Amazon in an hour exactly. They
can't even wait the twenty four hoursthat Amazon will probably deliver the item.

(01:27):
They want to go to the storeand I think for most of us,
I get it, like I'm thesame way sometimes, but so they want
to go and actually try the products, even and an auto. This comes
with beauty products because the forest seeinga big boom with tweens going into the
stores and trying all the makeup productsand things like that. But we're talking
twelve to twenty six year olds,Like this is kind of like the range,

(01:48):
and they're starting to really see ashift that they prefer shopping in person
as much as online shopping. It'snot like they're not shopping online at all,
but it's very like fifty to fifty, whereas before everything was online shopping.
Well, there's something that you saidabout experiential opportunities. I mean,
there is an experience you go in. You made them all smells good.
There's a lot of those department storessmell good. And maybe you are wanting

(02:12):
to get away from your family oryour parents and roam around with your friends.
So there's some freedom attached to that. Yeah, but I just I
still can't. We're laying in bedthe other night and I got hungry and
I wanted to make a stir fryand we needed white onions and parsley,
and so we order white onions andparsley. And in forty five minutes,
Yeah, white onion and parsley. Is that my door? I cannot.

(02:32):
I still can't get past it.I know there is a fine line between
convenience and laziness, and I needto get past that. But you know
what, it's not laziness to me. I think I'm saving money by online,
because no, when I go toa mall, you should see me.
I'm like, I walk by,you get things you don't need a

(02:53):
suitcase store and I'm like, actually, you know, I don't have,
you know, my my my bagfor my makeup stuff when I travel is
getting kind of so I'll go inthere and I'll buy that, and then
I'll walk past a different store andI'm like, I need a new pair
of socks. Let me go getsome. Just are you dangerous? Yeah,
it's bad. I got to stayaway from the malls. But there's
certain things that you have to getat the malls. Like the other day,
I was going to try to getnew bras online and I was about

(03:14):
to buy them, and I waslike, you know what, I don't
know if I'm this size or thissize, and I don't want to have
to return them and do all this, So I need to go to the
mall and try those on, becausethat's something that's just fair. Yes,
well, yeah, I'm asking.I didn't know. I mean, I
have never seen this, so Idon't know exactly. Actually, yeah,
if you go into like a certainstores, they'll measure you. And what

(03:37):
seems to me like trying those on. It's like trying on underwear. You
can't underwear is like a different story. You want to like keep yours on
you. I usually don't try onunderwear, but bras are that bras like
a fair game, Like you wantto make sure that they're comfy and you're
gonna have something. Yeah, BRA'skind of like you trying on a tank
tank top what you learned today onthe show. I will have an answer

(04:00):
anybody. If anybody wants to seeme at the store later, I'll have
an answer exactly all right. Listen, coming up, I got fifty minutes
of non stop kiss music on Kiss
