how are you? John?
Speaker 4 (00:31):
We're doing well? Good so good anymore?
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Actually downhill falling apart. The chemistry we're fans for, it
is falling apart. Brian, Hey, everybody, Hey, baby, how you doing?
I'm fine? Thank you for asking.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
You didn't really answer the question right, and you just

We make it one more day, right, make it one
more day and it's Friday. Yes, I love that.
Speaker 6 (01:27):
Are we gonna talk about the strawberries?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
We can? I just don't know if it's like the
most pressing thing. We walked in the studio today and
Brian gets right before us. We walk in the studio
and there's a bag of strawberry tops just sitting here,
and Joe's like, oh my god, who left like strawberry
tops sitting in a plastic bag like overnight or something
like that.
Speaker 6 (01:48):
I thought someone came into the studio and left their
trash behind.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Right, eating strawberries and just biting up the strawberry and
leaving the strawberry top with the little green parties and stuff. Right,
some people don't eat that. You actually can't eat that.
It's healthy for you, weird, it's healthy for you. Yeah,
it's just fibers, Yeah, totally, it's vinemins and everything. Do
that for Laura on the couch over. That's Mastra y'ahmin
for her. But yeah, you can. But then somebody in
(02:14):
the room confessed, Oh, that's just me. I left them there.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
I felt so bad after saying that.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Your tone was so disgusting.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
You were like some gross freak left these pieces of strawberry.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
It was me, good old Brian eating the strawberries. When
did you eat him? Because we got here like five yesterday.
Oh so you ate them after we had left yesterday, right,
and they were sitting here in a plastic bag turning
in the penicillin. The guys are so dramatic gross. So yeah,
(02:51):
we're gonna talk about that. That's let's just start again.
Good morning, It's Valentine in the Morning, mayam listen anywhere
with the free iHeartRadio app one of the three fam
(03:11):
It is Valencine in the Morning. If you could see
one band that's not together and they're alive, let's say
they're alive. Yeah, but the band's broken up, huh. And
you see one band who would be talking hits talking.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
One of the they're all still alive. They had a
really messy breakup. One of the greatest bands, probably the
greatest band of the eighties. You could say they kind
of have started doing interviews together again.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
They had a movie come out anyway. I would love
to see them live.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
I know Coachella they offered them a ton of money
A Golden Voice did and they said no. But anyway,
I would love to see them.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
I just was hoping for a name. That's my number five,
number four? Oh my god, Oh my god, John, what
about you?
Speaker 5 (04:03):
I'd say this band called Go Radio. I grew up
with them, like i'd say pray, probably late two thousands
in high school. They were real big and one of
the members was a member of may Day Parade. And
I remember right when I really got into them, they
broke up, like in the middle of me discovering them,
and I was so bummed that I never got to
see them laugh because I loved every song they put out.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Jill, what about you?
Speaker 6 (04:23):
Spice girls?
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Really?
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Yeah, it was a.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Band they played. They got back together, didn't they?
Speaker 7 (04:27):
They got back together, but they're not together now and
they've been teasing getting back together.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
For the long time.
Speaker 7 (04:33):
But and then also too one direction. Yeah, but fortunately,
you know after.
Speaker 6 (04:39):
Liam Payne's passing. Yeah, it's so sad. What about you bel.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Me right here? Do I be? If you know? You know?
Speaker 8 (04:51):
You know it?
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Brother? Daft Punks? They thought we were Taul Williams. Yeah,
daft Punk. Daft Punk was putting together like sounds and
moods that nobody else has done. The audio they would
come up with in their studio is just flipping amazing.
(05:13):
They are legends, legends as legends, and Daft Punk got
back together. I'd be there.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
When did they break up? I didn't know they weren't
together anymore.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
It was kind of recent.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
They did some stuff together.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
They want to Grammy for I think their last album
they put out it was that album of.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
The year, amazing daft punk of them. I was just curious.
I was asking a question. There's nowhere to go with it. Really,
I think I won. I had the best answer, but
there's no contest. I won, But no, there's no contest.
The text line is not even talking about that.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
One O four three my FM. My needs to now
wake up and Valentine in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
One of four three, mifam it is Valentine in the morning.
Hi in Aria, how are you? We were talking about
this yesterday? Unintentional breakups that you accidentally you know, cause like,
oh I'm sorry I saw your wife cheating. Unintentional You
didn't mean to tell them, and you might have caused
a break up. Yamiria didn't get a chance to talk
(06:12):
to us yesterday, Brian said that your story is pretty good.
Speaker 8 (06:15):
What happened, Oh my gosh, I would have taken this
to my grave. I had just moved to New York.
I met this couple.
Speaker 9 (06:23):
They were super excited to.
Speaker 10 (06:24):
Kind of like adopt me.
Speaker 8 (06:25):
So one night we went bar hopping and there were
my ride.
Speaker 9 (06:30):
You have just moved to New York. I didn't have my.
Speaker 8 (06:31):
Car out there.
Speaker 11 (06:32):
I just you know, started college.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
And well, I spilled my stuff on my purse, like
just did a mess. I just grabed whatever I could
and I didn't notice. I dropped my sister's bracelet. I
keep it in the purse.
Speaker 9 (06:45):
I refused because I didn't want to lose it.
Speaker 8 (06:47):
I keep it in there keepsake. And I guess I
didn't really talk about much about my family, so they
didn't know that was Her name was Lisa, and you know,
I didn't notice. It was gone days and maybe weeks went.
Speaker 9 (06:59):
I don't even her.
Speaker 8 (07:00):
But it was like a while back, Yeah, and my
friend calls me fall inclined that he she's been cheating,
And I was like, what happened.
Speaker 9 (07:11):
Oh my god, Like, is he such a sweet guy?
Speaker 11 (07:13):
What happened?
Speaker 8 (07:14):
She's like, I found something in the car and.
Speaker 9 (07:17):
I didn't think about it.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
I was like, oh my gosh, was it. She's like
a bracelet with the name Lisa on it, and I
and I, you know, I kind of wanted to say, like,
I think that's mine, and but she she told me
that he right away, he didn't deny it.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
What and yeah, you didn't say it was your bracelet.
Speaker 8 (07:35):
I didn't have the heart to tell the truth that.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
It's your sister's bracelet that you were holding.
Speaker 9 (07:41):
I don't know what I want to tell that, Like
she you know, she wait.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
A minute, she thought Danny's cheating with a girl named Lisa.
And she confronts him and he says he was, yeah.
Speaker 8 (07:51):
Got it right six years ago, and you know, I
still followed him on Instagram, like both of them.
Speaker 11 (07:56):
Separately, and you know, is he okay?
Speaker 2 (07:59):
So on Instagram? So they break up? This is insane, man,
It's insane. They break up? Is he with a woman
named Lisa?
Speaker 9 (08:07):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (08:08):
My god, this is the universe will always get you.
If you're cheating, you're gonna be found out. Guys. Wow,
the universe used this girl's sister's bracelet, wow, or he
really was cheating with your sister.
Speaker 9 (08:23):
Oh, I've never told her.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
You've never told that, lady wow that it was your
bracelet all this time. But he was cheating anyway, So
the universe figured out a way to make this come out,
so to speak.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
Yeah, to this day, I'm like, can't believe it, and
I have.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
He is so weird. You what are the odds of
like him actually cheating with a girl named Lisa?
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Insane out of all exactly my family being all when
in California, so like it.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
It's crazy, right, Wow, that is nuts. And he's actually
with that girl now, this girl Lisa m hm, oh
my god.
Speaker 11 (08:59):
Oh she never is this.
Speaker 9 (09:00):
I just hope she never does.
Speaker 7 (09:02):
Enough time it's gone by, she will probably learn to
appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
So.
Speaker 8 (09:06):
I think later once like you're already happily married and
with with kids, you know you kind of learned to
feel like that would thank god, you.
Speaker 6 (09:13):
Know it just happened to me. I'd be like, that
is crazy.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Thank God, it's too weird to even bring up, you
know what I mean. But I'm not even sure you
should have called in you preazed melet weird to.
Speaker 8 (09:25):
Move on for years, so finally we want to tell somebody.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Yeah, so long, okay, I gotcha? All right, Well, thank you, Lisa,
You're nary right forgot text Valentine in the morning at
three one oh four three one o four three, my
FM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 7 (09:47):
The Time one hundred list of the most influential people
in the world was released and when it comes to
entertainers on the list and includes Scarlett Johansson, like Lively,
Nicky Glazer, Adam Scott, Kristen Bell, Adrian Brody, Demi Moore,
and Lourene Michaels. There is going to be the annual
Time one hundred gala on April twenty fourth, and the
(10:07):
event will be hosted by Snoop Dogg and Lindsay Lohan
is set to starre in and executive produce a new
drama series for Hulu. It's called Count My Lives, based
on the novel by the same name, and if it happens,
this will be Lindsay Lohan's first lead role in a
TV series and she's going to play a wealthy mother
named Violet, whose new nanny who's a compulsive liar uncovers
(10:31):
the household's explosive secrets, so that will be coming to Hulu.
I'm Jill with erning himn headlines on Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
The Net two.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
One of four three mile m It is Valentine in
the morning. We have a good morning celebrity stopping by
the studio here in the six o'clock hour, which is
quite early for this person, and I appreciate them coming in.
This is kind of the only time they could do
it for us. So in the six o'clock hour long
about six twenty five brank Yes, sir, Academy award. Oh
my god. First off, I gotta tell you something else.
No offense to this person, my kid, and I have
(11:10):
to tell you please don't embarrass him or anything. He
thought an egot, he thought it was an s B,
a golden globe, an oscar and tony. He didn't know egot
was emmy, right.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
Or that a G was Grammy. He thought it was
golden globe.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Oh god, I told him was golden globe. Whoops. But anyway,
we thought, wouldn't that be amazing if they changed the
egot to make that E take away the emmy, make
it an SB, so SB, Grammy, Oscar Tony Award. Who
would ever win that? You'd have to get an s B,
(11:45):
then a Grammy at Oscar and a Tony Award. Oh
that's tough. Yeah right, it'd be like one winner Michael
straight hand. I don't know, maybe right, but he was
convinced that he stood for s B. Oh funny, too
fair though I don't know if I said Golden Globe
or Grammy, so maybe I could have missed him up anyway,
the guy who could get an egot real one, a
real one, like a legit ego, at Emmy, a Grammy,
(12:08):
at Oscar, and at Tony. He's already got some. He's
coming in six twenty five. That man is Josh Grob.
Speaker 9 (12:18):
You raise me.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
I can stand on mom six today on balance out
in the morning in the studio, our good friend Josh
grow just popping by, just fop and popping by. How
are you?
Speaker 12 (12:40):
I'm doing well, I'm doing well, I'm being busy.
Speaker 13 (12:42):
I'm uh, I'm not. I'm a little sleep deprived.
Speaker 12 (12:45):
We just argue we just rescued a little puppy a
couple of days ago, so the pictures are are really quiet,
and then you get an actual puppy. Yeah, it's real noisy,
real noisy. But the best thing, the best thing. We're
so happy when we rescue. This is a legendary story
of my family rescued a dog, got rest of salt.
It's a long time ago. Monroe.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
And we got Monroe at a you know, a rescue
and he was laying in the sun. Was that a
farmer's market? And the rescue was there laying there relaxing
on the farmer's market. Yeah, exactly, And I go, oh,
that's the cutest little dog. He's so chill, he's just
like us. We didn't know he'd been resting half the
day in the sun because people played with him, so
he was out of breath. He's right. So but then
(13:24):
you got him home and he got a little rest.
All of a sudden, he's the devil's spawn and he's
just going I have crazy.
Speaker 12 (13:30):
I have never tiptoe so quietly in my own home
than I have when naptime actually occurs. It's like, don't
make any news. Put I put ice in my glass
for some cold brew, and all of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
That's all you need is.
Speaker 12 (13:41):
Probably you didn't eave him up par dupar because upars
it's farmers market joke.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
That's a deep cut farmer's market joke. That's a little
deeper than you can hear it. Just Tellice, if you
like humor, do a lot of humor with your shows.
Though you're a fun guy, You're not just singing and done. No,
I'm not just sitting and done. I don't understand. Uh.
Speaker 12 (14:00):
You know, there are some acts that are just so
cool that they just go from song one to song
twenty literally without saying a single word to the audience.
At some point they're like glad to be you know.
Maybe it's the thinking right, but no, I like to
you know, and especially for a venue like like the
Colisseum tell Us story Share your Life literally stares into
the audience.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
The seats are booths.
Speaker 12 (14:22):
So if you don't go out there and find out
who's there and share a little bit of what's behind
the songs, I think it makes it.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Oh man, I want to go now. I wonder if
you'd recognize us in the audience and say something, or
you'd look at us and go, oh crap.
Speaker 13 (14:33):
No, my buddy, I'd come.
Speaker 12 (14:36):
I'd come, probably control you, I'd bring up and we'd
we'd do something fun, but you should die.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
I agree. I actually can't.
Speaker 12 (14:42):
If I'm on stage, I can't really see who's out there.
On Broadway, you kind of notice a lot if you
think you're being slick looking at your phone during a
Broadway show.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
We know we can see it.
Speaker 12 (14:52):
If you're talking, we can hear it, like, yeah, it's
it's there's a lot of stuff that can be really
distracting when you're doing a Broadway show.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Concerts are a.
Speaker 12 (14:58):
Little louder, more chaotic. Uh, that stuff kind of goes missing.
But a Broadway theater, especially if it's a quiet scene
or something, we see it, we hear it. All was
that you No, you have a very guilty look on
your phone.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
But are you on your phone? Dring broad No, No, no,
I'm not that guy. I will have a treat of
some sort. Yes, that's in my pocket.
Speaker 12 (15:19):
Well that's the thing what we but that's but that's
also concessions. Look, we love our saying it's okay, we
love our front of house concession staff. They're awesome. They're
making somebody a.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
Fortune before the show.
Speaker 12 (15:34):
But there's there's you know, it's exactly, you have a
little snack while the lights are still up.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Yes, a little bit of a flask at the old
pat flask.
Speaker 13 (15:41):
Now we're talking.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Now, we're talking flast big boys play right, what about
like that thing that people using their hiking the little
water pouch thing.
Speaker 6 (15:48):
Well, and then a Broadway show.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Yeah, and you run it up through your suit jacket.
Speaker 12 (15:53):
Yeah, and you're like, this is this is this is
some next level Broadway audience. You're saying, get the get
the get the get a little the tube your mouth
for the drink. What's the little trucker's two for when
you have to peek? Listen to go to the bathroom,
Tony even go to the bathroom. Get all the champagne
to your heart's content. Nobody will know.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
We'll be right back. Josh Groban in the studio.
Speaker 14 (16:10):
Valentine in the Morning on one four to three my
FM nineties.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
To now It's Valentine Morning. Josh grobe in the studio.
Be all Right's new song from his upcoming album Gems.
The album Jams is out on May second. It is
a retrospective album, you say, with career highlights and two
brand new songs.
Speaker 12 (16:27):
Yeah, it's crazy to go back and kind of curate.
Twenty five years of stuff. Sure, you never think you're
going to make it that long.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
When you make the.
Speaker 12 (16:34):
First one, you didn't think you were going to make
it this long. I didn't even think my first album
was going to get released. I thought that because you know,
my my singing and my music and continues to be
it's kind of like out of a out of.
Speaker 13 (16:46):
A not a lot of genres, you know.
Speaker 12 (16:47):
And if I knew that, if I didn't find my audience,
that it would be very hard to play by any
of the playbooks that are in the music business. Right
So I didn't feel like I had full ownership of
like my ability until like three albums in.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Did you feel like at any point like I've grown
up too fast because of this? You know?
Speaker 12 (17:02):
I I think that the interesting thing about growing up
too fast, there's lots of different ways to feel like
things are moving too quickly. Luckily, I was in a
genre that was kind of you know, it wasn't like
a party lifestyle genre. People were there for like the
purity of the music, and they wanted to hear me
sing beautiful songs. And I had kind of an older
audience that like had been through these life experiences, and
I hadn't so in that regard. I was growing up
really quickly because I was singing these really lofty emotional songs.
(17:25):
But I'm very lucky that I wasn't in like you know,
I wasn't singing like party music and like top forty
songs where I'm being put in rooms with like a
lot of drugs and a lot of other things that
I might have been tempted by that stuff. No, Like
the rooms that I were in were like cell rey
sticks and you know these more exactly.
Speaker 15 (17:44):
No, not.
Speaker 13 (17:48):
Gotta say no to that charcuterie.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Kid, What do you think it?
Speaker 13 (17:51):
Hummus on those vocal cords? You ruin everything?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
When did you? When did you learn to? And maybe
you never did. I'm not going to say you did,
but I'm trying to like picture myself in your skin,
so to speak. When did you learn to weaponize your
voice with the opposite sex? Like if I had what
you had? Yeah, and come on, you go to a party,
you go somewhere, like think of me. I not weaponized.
Speaker 13 (18:16):
No, I'm always a good man. You're so so shy.
Speaker 12 (18:19):
It was nice being like known, right, like like you know,
when you go out somewhere and somebody like starts a conversation.
Somebody is really shy if somebody starts flirting with you
because they know they know who you are and they
want to start a conversation. That was a really new
thing for me, being like the nerd in high school.
But it was But never like singing to that person
or never like using my singing for that, because I'm
honestly the shyest, okayfetty about my own singing unless it's karaoke.
(18:43):
If I'm in karaoke, then all bets are off.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
I would do karaoke with you in the room. I
would never do karaoke. It's not fair.
Speaker 13 (18:49):
I'll give it to you there, but there it is.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
But I love I'll go.
Speaker 13 (18:53):
I'll go with some people who sing. Well, we'll throw down.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Oh my god, it's so cool. I could like imagine you,
like you go to midnight Mass or something at Christmas
Elves and Josh in the back and just start singing
because I'll sing and I think I'm like pretty good
in my own little head, and then you hear that
one person.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Why do you do that?
Speaker 7 (19:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:10):
You just walk out?
Speaker 10 (19:14):
All right?
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Our tickets on sale for everything, they are okay, very cool. Yeah,
we often sold. They're sold. There's not sold out, No
getting where they're sold.
Speaker 13 (19:22):
I don't know where tickets get sold. Go to your
local Go to your local ticket bonger.
Speaker 12 (19:28):
I'm the worst of promoting street. You find a guy,
give you take a guy, guy, you know, go to
Canal Street in New York City.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
They'll sell your tickets cheap. God, you've viewed all these
years and all the accolades, all the awards and stuff,
and I don't know if you care about this not.
You've just been a very nice, normal guy. When you
come in, you really are well. Takes one to know
one thank you, thank you, you know.
Speaker 12 (19:52):
It's it's it's been a wild journey, one that I've
not taken for granted to rest on my laurels at all,
because you know, for better for you know, my my
trajectory has always been like one wrong move or one
wrong weird stuff, right, you know, there's a it's a
big world out there, and so there have been times
in my career where I felt like the way I
was on the wave, and there were times where I
(20:13):
felt like I need to make the wave.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
But it wasn't self doubt in the sense that you
thought like they're gonna catch me as a faker or
something like I don't deserve this.
Speaker 13 (20:19):
Well, we all have imposter syndrome.
Speaker 12 (20:20):
I mean like there's every even the biggest superstars, when
I've been able to talk to them for long long
enough and we get a few drinks in us, Like
there's insecurities in all of your favorite superstars. It's just
you know, some of that can be a healthy fear.
It makes you want to just keep your head down
and and do it. I also have just great parents
and have had great teachers, and they just made planet
Earth a really fun place to be, So that's where
I like to hang.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
God, we do have imposter syndrome in the studio too.
Sometimes we're not even sure around the air. Yeah, I
don't know, don't you guys? Thanks for having me one
(21:00):
of four three my family. It is Valencine in the morning,
six forty six, shouting out to our friend Josh Grobin.
How cool right?
Speaker 16 (21:06):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (21:07):
I love him?
Speaker 2 (21:08):
So cool and so cool. He came in and didn't
make fun of my red eyes or how disheveled or
sleep I look from last night's events that I was
doing and stuff. You look fine, dude, did you see
me before he came in. I was in the bathroom
putting eye drops in, you know, I was like getting
I drops in my eyes trying to take the red out.
Speaker 6 (21:24):
Yeah, you're running on a few hours.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Sleep, I know. I hosted the pole Star Awards last night,
which is fantastic sponsored by Live Nation, and it was
just really really cool. And most people don't know much
about the poll Star Awards and what Polestar is, but
if you're in the industry, you know they keep track
of basically all the ticket sales and all the you
know stuff across the country at venues and stadiums, and
how artists do in certain cities versus different different cities.
(21:47):
So they're really really important to the music industry and stuff.
And they had a big award show last night and
all these major stars there. I had no idea I'm
sitting there on stage and giving Missy Elliot award. Missy
Elliott walks out. Miss elliotts like, yeah, yeah, that's Missy Elliot,
dude right there. Did you see her at Coachella che performance?
(22:09):
I did blew my mind.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
She's a once in a lifetime artist, my god, and
you were hanging with.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Her last name. Yes, yes, Missy Elliott.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Stop fighting.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Exhausted. It's so exhausted. It's a it's a room full
of like you know, artists and promoters and stuff, and
people are like c AA and the William Morrison never
folks and stuff. And it was funny because at one point,
like Cia is winning some award, somebody's winning something, and
I'm like, God, it's nice to be a room with
like two or three agents that have dropped you over
the years, because everyone that was winning an award ago, Yeah,
(22:42):
you dropped me over the years. And now I'm hosting
the poll Stars. But so Jelly rolls their backstage hang
with him out col Sean Mayer Winston a ward. He
comes up to me just coming up in stage. He
shakes my head and goes, yeah, they got you doing
the whole thing. Huh yeah, like fifty plus awards at
this thing last night, Holy Awards and they weighed a
thousand pounds. Pollstar spared no expense on their awards.
Speaker 6 (23:03):
Did everybody do it except in space?
Speaker 14 (23:05):
Yes?
Speaker 17 (23:05):
WHOA no wonder you got.
Speaker 6 (23:07):
To bed so late right.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Wasserman Music came up with their entire office, like fifty
five people on stage or something. So yeah, John Mayer's there,
people in the Grateful Dead. I mean, it was just
it was crazy.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
Missy Elliott.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, I mean it was just it was just nuts.
All these famous people that were there and abod me
and it was bad. But otherwise down there yeah no,
but yeah, the Missy yell thing, I was like hoping
she was there and then she came out stage because
you don't know, like some of these people they don't
tell you because they don't know if they're gonna be
number one. They could be in the bathrooms they don't
want to go. Hey, say Missy Elliott's coming out and
(23:44):
in the bathroom missus or something. So you say their
name and they come out on stage like, oh my god,
it's Missy Elliott. Oh my god, it's Jelly Roll. Oh
there's John Mayer.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
You know that's so cool.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
It's it was really good.
Speaker 17 (23:54):
Stephen nick Yes, Stevin Nix is a legend.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Stephen NICKX was back stage of me sitting in what
they call the hole. You're like waiting to go out, right,
And maybe it's just me that calls it that sitting
in the hole, like you're behind your backstage waiting to
go out it's like you're on deck neckstage. So I
don't know. I don't know if they call it then though,
I might have made that term up in the hole,
(24:19):
not a very good term, but you know what, I'm
sitting in the hole. So I'm backstage. Steevens completely mac
fame and of course her own solo career and stuff,
and she's listening to the speech about her on stage
and everything, and she's hilarious, very funny lady. You know.
It's like, don't come in a goat god. It sounds
like I'm old. I'm like, oh my god, you're right,
(24:40):
you're cooler. It's very funny though. Yeah, that's what a night. Yeah, yeah,
it was crazy. I'm exhausted though, So credit to Josh
Groban for not pointing that out, yeah, you know, and
and credit few for booking a guest at like six
twenty on the day where I went to bed at
like one.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Those complicated schedules.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
It worked that way. We've got the John you had
have questioned you, Oh sorry I cut you off earlier. Apologize.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
I think I was just making the point that it
must have been cool to read the names and be like,
oh missy Elliott what like, you found out she was
there in real time as you're reading those rights.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
That's kind of totally. Yeah. And then some of the
stuff too, like people were coming up that were involved
in a project, but their name wasn't the winner. Oh interesting,
when John Mayer came up, I didn't know he was
going to come up or anything.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
So you're like watching this guy come up, and you're like,
John Mayor.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
That's exactly what it was. Exactly what it was like,
Oh my god, John Mayer's walking up. What a cool night. Wow, No,
it's it's a great award, show man. It was really good. Yeah,
I did.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
It likely refers to the areas backstage of a theater
that are not part of the audience or the stage.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
The hole, the hole.
Speaker 4 (25:40):
They got that up there fast, Yeah they did.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
That's some nice folks with Wikipedia helped me out there.
We're waiting in the hole. We're in the hole. We're
in the hole.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
One O four to three, MYFM, here's what's coming up.
Speaker 18 (25:53):
In entertainment headlines, an Oscar nominee said she found out
during the commercial break that she was not going to
win her award coming.
Speaker 6 (26:03):
Up, I'll tell you who it was. Right after traffic
one O.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Four to three my FM Entertainment Headlines.
Speaker 7 (26:10):
To Me, Moore says she knew ahead of time that
Mikey Madison from Honora was going to win the Oscar
and beat her in their category.
Speaker 6 (26:18):
During the commercial break during.
Speaker 7 (26:20):
The Oscars before her category was announced, Deme Moore says
she whispered to her manager that she just felt Mikey
was gonna win, and she goes, I don't know why I.
Speaker 6 (26:28):
Knew it, but I just did.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
But she said she's cool with it. She was centered
and calm. De Me Moore said, I didn't feel gutted.
I didn't feel any kind of those things. I just
trusted and I'm interest of whatever's going to unfold.
Speaker 6 (26:39):
She said.
Speaker 17 (26:39):
The physical human.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
Part that has an ego, of course has disappointment. It
certainly would have been wonderful to have won. And Marvel
star Florence Pugh, she's been in Don't worry, Darling, and
we live in time.
Speaker 6 (26:51):
She says she may end up alone because of how
hard it is to date a celebrity.
Speaker 7 (26:56):
She said, I'm more sympathetic to the people who were
in love with me because it's not easy. I'm tricky,
I'm always busy. I can never make dates. But it's
not good enough for me to ask someone to just
accept that I'll just.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
End up alone. I don't want that. I want a family.
Speaker 7 (27:10):
So she is dating someone right now. She can say
this enter me that she is dating somebody, but she
understands how hard it is to date a celebrity. I'm
Jill for there in timid headlines.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
It's funny because Sea Chris was talking about that at
that event we went to the other day, yes, you
know which. I'm surprised Polestar didn't get him the host
because he was in town, so the go to him.
But he was talking about all his commitments and stuff,
and he made a joke about no personal commitments and
things right, And you know, he's he's older now, he's
not twenty five years old anymore. And you wonder about
people that are so so famous, how difficult it may be.
(27:42):
And I don't think I'm talking out of school and
regards him, and I don't want to sound anything but
you know, nice, but obviously he's very rich, very famous.
How do you date?
Speaker 6 (27:52):
How does he have time to date?
Speaker 2 (27:53):
He's constantly it's constantly on the move. He's very type a.
He's got his scheduled down, pat you know, he doesn't
mess around, and that's why the guy is so incredibly
you know, famous and talented and all those things. How
do you find anybody you know, because you're not shopping
at Pavilions with me?
Speaker 5 (28:13):
I know that with a schedule like that, like you've
already fitted exactly how you need it to be able
to survive and to have someone else fit within that schedule, right,
I can't even imagine.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Like, there's no chance he's at Pavilions going oh thirty
off the Turkey Burgers because the manager's special, because the
date's coming up. Yeah, I'll take a chance on that.
You know, that's not apfident wild And who was the
lady that was a catalyst for this conversation.
Speaker 7 (28:38):
I was wondering why you guys were smiling, and I
appreciate the straight everything. Thank you so much. Now you
may you may do it now because the report's over.
It was Florence Pew.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
P p p p Peo Pew You knew to our
show we did that one time she talked about her.
She got so mad we had to have a meeting
with our boss. It was so bad my fam mean,
it's Valentine in the morning. Was telling us some of
(29:08):
the crew here about the Pull Star Awards last night.
I was hosting you'll probably see it in the press
and stuff, the Pull Star Awards. And there was a
gentlemen up there who shall remain nameless, and he was
giving a very very long speech, and I was holding
his trophy, and the trophies were so awards, I guess.
The awards were so very very heavy. And then like
bigger Lifetime Achievement Awards and Hall of Fame and all
(29:28):
different like things that were given out were even heavier.
They're bigger, right, And this guy is given a speech
and he deserves to give that speech, right, But I'm
holding the award and I'm not John. I'm not like
some twenty eight year old guides working out all the
time and stuff. This thing's getting heavy now. And we're
like eight minutes into the speech, ten minutes into the speech,
(29:49):
and I'm just sitting there next to him holding the award.
It got so heavy, and maybe you'll understand this, It
got so heavy I started resting on my belly. If
you're a heavier set person and a guy, especially obviously,
you know what the belly shelf is and I'm leaning back.
It's a belly shelf, It's a belf, and I'm leaning back,
and I'm resting this award on my belly because it's
going on so long. I gotta get your photos of that.
(30:13):
It was so great, my bam. It is Valentine in
the morning, seven oh seven, Good morning, Thursday, April seventeenth.
Does it feel like at Thursday? I got up today.
I thought it was a Friday. It's not. It's Thursday.
Speaker 6 (30:24):
That was me yesterday?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Was it really?
Speaker 6 (30:26):
I'm sorry, Thursday all day?
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yes, And it was Wednesday. Wednesday, and I thought it
was Friday. Today is Thursday. I guess what's happening? Aren't
we a comical crew coming up later on this hour?
Growing up, was there a certain friend's house where you
could watch R rated movies? You can text in at
three one oh four three, I will tell you Sean Pishke, probably,
(30:49):
Tom Romley, definitely, Craig Pylo, Mark Kilberger. Yeah, probably. I
had a lot of dirtbag friends.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
Sounds like all of them at your house.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
No, you could not watch an R rated movie at
my house. Yeah, the TV was downstairs, but first of
We couldn't get an Rrady movie because it's no VCR
on it back then, and the TV that had a
VCR was upstairs VHS, So yeah, I couldn't. And then
my sisters would nark, and then I would nark on them.
It was a nark fest. We were telling on each other.
You know, who is it for you?
Speaker 7 (31:19):
Her name was Summer on that that's where I watched
Killer Clowns from Outer Space.
Speaker 6 (31:24):
For the first time.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
That was our radied Killer Clouds Matter Shape, I think so.
Speaker 6 (31:28):
I'm sure it was. But we could watch anything there.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Oh it got Was it very graphic or adulter scary?
Speaker 3 (31:34):
It's such a terrible movie that it's like, seems funny
ray just because I didn't want you to watch it,
was like, this is so bad, We're ashamed we made this,
John Ay for you.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
I think it was our house. I don't think that. Yeah,
my friends would come over. We were maybe ten to eleven.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Then you guys put on bad movies.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
Yeah, like Team America, World Police Matrix Reloaded, Harold and Kumar.
Speaker 6 (31:57):
Your house.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
I think it was our house. My mom didn't really
care about the rate of our movies.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
I think the part I hate about that. The most
is it seems like those movies just came out, you know,
fifteen years ago, or it's not what you know, that
old classic. They're all color. Okay. I did not grow
up John for the fifteenth million time with black and
white movies.
Speaker 4 (32:20):
I thought that was killer clowns.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Oh oh in the eighties. My gosh, let me have
a lot of enemies.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
It is a battle of the sexes. Represent the man.
His name is Abraham. He listened men if. He works
as an accountant and enjoys trying new foods to the family. Abraham,
what is up, my brother?
Speaker 13 (32:39):
Oh, good morning you guys.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Good morning.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
Representing the ladies. Her name is Marlee. He's from Norwalk.
Speaker 7 (32:45):
She's a senior in high school and enjoys drawing and
doing art. Let's hear it from Marlee Marley.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
What is going on morning? Hello? Future of America? How
are you doing? That's you, Marley, You're the future of America.
Speaker 19 (33:03):
Hello, I'm doing good?
Speaker 10 (33:04):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (33:05):
We're doning? God, you're the future of America. I'm Barney Sanders.
You've gotta get out that you gotta vote, You've gotta
do your part. What're counting on you, the young people,
to be who you can be. All right, not gonna laugh.
I did that at the Pole Stars last night, huge
hit too. All right, here's what it works, Marle. I'm
gonna ask you a few questions, and Abraham Jill's gonna
(33:25):
be asking me the questions. Best of the three wins
still tied into regulation, we get a that's a tough
tie breaker question. Let us start with the ladies, Marley,
what baseball movie coined the phrase if you build it,
he will come.
Speaker 19 (33:42):
Oh I'm not Sunna say it's okay.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Put this one on your list in movies to see.
I know that's probably annoying for somebody my age telling
you what to do. But Field of Dreams is a
really really good movie. Have you seen that? John? I have?
Thank God?
Speaker 7 (33:56):
Abraham, what female singer has a song with Beyonce called Telephone?
Speaker 13 (34:06):
Who Lady Gaga?
Speaker 6 (34:09):
That's right?
Speaker 2 (34:10):
All right, guys, on board one to nothing. Marley, Here
we go with your question. Author J. M. Barry created
what mischievous fictional character that can fly and never grows up?
They'll never grow up? What character is that?
Speaker 19 (34:25):
Peter Pan?
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Peter Pan? And what a peanut butter?
Speaker 6 (34:28):
You got it right, Abraham.
Speaker 7 (34:31):
In the movie hook, what actress plays tinker Bell.
Speaker 11 (34:36):
Julia Roberts.
Speaker 6 (34:37):
Yes, that's right, all right.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
Current score is two to one. Marley. You have to
get this right to stay in the game. Here we go.
What founder of Amazon who's bald and just fell next
to the capsule that landed was named Person of the
Year in nineteen ninety nine? What was his name or
what is his name? Founder of Amazon?
Speaker 13 (35:00):
Bezos?
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Bezos are going to take that?
Speaker 7 (35:02):
Yeah, Jeff Bezos and Abraham you can win it with
this one.
Speaker 6 (35:05):
Jeff Goldbloom sings the song.
Speaker 7 (35:07):
A Sentimental Man in what twenty twenty four movie musical, Oh.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Oh Wicked.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
All right, that means we get to a not a
tough tiebreaker question. Holler out your name. If you know
the answer, your name will be your buzzer. And wait
until Brian Burton finishes asking the question. Before you buzz in.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Give us the name of someone you'd like to send
out into space.
Speaker 9 (35:36):
A Mary Abraham, my wife, Carmen, Your wife, Carmen.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
You want to send us out of space?
Speaker 9 (35:46):
Yeah? Sure, I think it'd be neat.
Speaker 6 (35:50):
Oh huh, like it's a good thing.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
She's coming back now. He said one way under his
break I heard it one way. Say all right, so
fellas do win? You got it? All the Sexes Championship
certificate post them sociates the hashtag Valentine. They morning share
it Friday.
Speaker 12 (36:05):
Kay.
Speaker 11 (36:06):
Oh great, and you got.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Six to go see Beyonce Sofi Stadium this May. They're
on sale now tickemaster dot com.
Speaker 19 (36:16):
Oh nice, Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
You're welcome. Marlee, listen. I don't know if you've heard
it my voice and Abraham hopefully won't be offended. I
was secretly rooting for you. So as you exit the stage,
this moment is entirely yours. You take it away, Marley,
whatever you want to say.
Speaker 19 (36:36):
Well, I've been listening to your show since elementary school,
so it's really cool to be on here and just
shout out to all the seniors who are graduating this year.
And can I get on the Christmas card list?
Speaker 2 (36:48):
Marley, absolutely, thank you for listening all that time. You
are very sweet. I hope your senior year is everything
you want it to be, and I hope you create
memories that will last an absolute lifetime and we'll get
you on the care This is card lister kay.
Speaker 16 (37:02):
Okay, thank you.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Okay, hang tight, guys, I got coming up three things
you need to know. Side to say, they just found
the strongest evidence yet of life on an alien planet.
Details coming up in three things they need to know.
This is not the planet that's circling the two stars?
Is it the Tatchwoing planet?
Speaker 4 (37:19):
I don't believe so.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
No, it's not the Tatchwoing story. No, no, no, no, very good.
Did you know the Tutwoing story?
Speaker 8 (37:26):
I did?
Speaker 2 (37:27):
This is K two one eight B oh yep, okay,
all right, K two one a B. Gotcha details. Here's
the telling for us in the morning. Travick, So you have.
Speaker 5 (37:36):
A crash in testin fifty five to salvage just before
the five.
Speaker 14 (37:39):
From sedan's and SUVs to full sized trucks experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified freezings.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
You need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Signed to say, they just found the strongest evidence yet.
Hear that phrase. It's seven nineteen Thursday, April seventeenth. You're
probably in southern California or listening to the free iHeartRadio app.
This is a major headline we're hearing today. Signed to
say they just found the strongest evidence yet of life
(38:12):
on an alien planet. They did this using the James
Web Space Telescope and basically they've observed gases gases that
are only produced by biological processes on Earth. Those gases
come from algae. So it's not like the found alien
(38:34):
life forms walking around. But still they're calling this landmark discovery.
But could it be alien life forms that ate too
much broccoli, had some deviled eggs, or maybe algae interacts
with their system, you know how it interacts differently with ours,
your nose. They're eating the algae up there. We don't
know what they're reading, right, Their parents at eat your
greens and the kid eight the algae and he's walking around.
(38:57):
This is happening on a planet called two one eight B.
This could be the moment, like years down the road,
they might use a copy of this audio in a retrospective.
This is when we found alien life gases. A growing
(39:18):
number of high schools around the country is starting to
teach a new class of teenagers on how to get sleep.
I saw this the other day and it's actually very important.
Studies show teenagers are more sleep deprived than ever in
school officials believe it's leading to behavioral issues and attendants problems.
During the sleep course, the students are asked to keep
daily sleeplogs and rate their mood at energy levels. And
of course a lot of it has to do with
the phone. Not to be on your screen, of course,
(39:40):
right before you go to bed. For many of us,
the screen is the last thing we see before we
go to sleep and the first thing we see waking up.
So the suggestion is not to go straight to your
phone when you wake up, even if you read a
few pages of a book or do something else. Don't
take it into the bathroom. Don't be sitting on the
toilet with your phone. Leave a bee. Start waking up
and doing your life without the phone. And same thing
at night, don't be looking at the phone for thirty
(40:02):
minutes plus before you go to bed. It's hard for
all of us as adults, we do it too, but
it would help all of us. I guess all right.
John's got the music news all.
Speaker 5 (40:10):
Right, looking into weekend of Coachella. Here weekend too, No weekend,
just announce he's hosting a Ferris Wheel takeover at Coachella
from Friday to Sunday. That's the big ferris Wheel, one
of the iconic features at Coachella. It's kind of unclear
what this takeover really means. We know he's promoting his
upcoming movie Hurry Up Tomorrow. We don't know if he's
going to show up in the desert sometime this weekend.
We don't know if it's just going to be promo
(40:31):
on the ferris wheel. But if you are a weekend
fan and you're going to Coachella weekend too, it's definitely
worth checking out that ferris wheel.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
I'm John Kamuji. That's Today's Music News.
Speaker 2 (40:38):
John. You've been to like Coachelle and Stagecoach and stuff. Yeah,
did you ever think about, like for some of the
major acts that you don't want to get like right
up front because you might get smashed or something going
up inside the little thing that has all the stairs
and just like watching from.
Speaker 4 (40:50):
The top, it's just harder to hear from their thing.
Speaker 7 (40:52):
It was you was incredible, Yeah, if you was great
too in it's air conditioned, right.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
Yeah. Yeah. I went up there and watched a couple acts.
They sounded pretty to me, and when I was likely
so out of the same when I was down below
all right, coming up? Was there a certain friend's house
where you could watch R rated movies? Texting right now
three one oh four three, something's got a hold on me, La,
(41:31):
what a fourth? Three? My family? It is Valentine in
the morning. Whose house did you go to to watch
rated R movies? Eight six, six five four four my FM?
Texting three one o four three.
Speaker 7 (41:40):
Mary texted in and said it was our house. In elementary school,
my favorite movie was Best Little.
Speaker 6 (41:46):
House in Texas.
Speaker 7 (41:48):
I so remember seeing Dolly Parton walking down the staircase.
I'd sing the songs on the playground at school. Alexis said,
my best friend's dad used to make us wait in
the car while he bought us tickets are rated movies,
so he didn't look like some weird guy giving young
girls movie tickets.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
What's your guy? Thanks for the edit on the Best
of Texas? We got it place.
Speaker 6 (42:08):
That's little house?
Speaker 2 (42:09):
Yes, little house in the prairie. Same thing. Yes, Hey, Liz,
good morning.
Speaker 10 (42:15):
How's everyone doing.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
I think we're doing okay. How's everyone doing? Guys?
Speaker 9 (42:18):
Yeah? Pretty good?
Speaker 2 (42:19):
Well there you go, Liz. So, whose house did you
go to to watch our rated movies?
Speaker 10 (42:25):
It was my house?
Speaker 2 (42:28):
You like to ours out.
Speaker 10 (42:31):
I know, we had cable. We were one of the
few friends that had cable growing up. So most of
my friends would come over, and you know, I have
older brothers, so when their friends would come over and
they're not going to watch cartoons, They're going to watch
R rated movies. So there we go, me and my
friends trying to squeeze in and you know, luckily they
(42:52):
would let us watch it. So some of these movies
are questionable now that I think back. I asked my brother,
why did you let me watch this at seven years old?
But you know, like Braveheart, why.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Wait Brave Heart? Braveheart was rated R oh yeah, it
was very whah. I thought it was all about freedom anyway. Yeah,
the violent stuff is things that like stand out for
me some movies, But looking back at movies from like
the eighties, like when I was growing up and stuff
like that, they were R rated like you wouldn't even
think about them now. Yeah. Beverly Hills Cop R RA R. Yeah,
(43:25):
I'm looking at that lister Lethal Weapon R rated, forty
eight hours R rated, Scarface well, okay, hell well, Nightmare
on Elm Street of Chorus, The Shining The Thing Friday thirteenth. Yeah,
those are scary fast times. A ridge on high risky
business was R rated. And the one where they just
had a reunion just the other day for the first
(43:46):
time ever at the breakfast club.
Speaker 6 (43:47):
That's rated R.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
That was rated Art says, yeah, yeah, oh no wait Pg. Thirteen.
But it felt like rated R to me, Ringwolls. She
would drop a few words.
Speaker 1 (43:58):
Now, next Valentine in the morning, three one, four to three.
Speaker 5 (44:02):

up at seven fifty.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
Hey, Josh, where did people go when you were young
to watch the R rated movies?
Speaker 7 (45:27):
Oh?
Speaker 18 (45:27):
That was come over to my place.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Oh.
Speaker 10 (45:29):
We are so lucky to have HBO and Showtime at
that time, so we had pretty much all your pick
in of all the rated R at the time.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
Wow, and your family is okay with this? Mom or Dad?
Are okay with people coming over and watching R rated movies?
I mean what they don't know why, they're don't hurt?
What's your face? What's your face say? And your face
is doing something?
Speaker 7 (45:51):
I mean they played movies in during the day, but
then I remember my friend Sarah had this channel night
and then at night it switches.
Speaker 4 (45:58):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
Well yeah, some of those channels did, but you're really
thinking of Max. Max was known for that. Okay, HBO
and Showtime did have some stuff, but Max was the
one that really had Josh, you know right cinemax right, yeah, yeah,
yeah Max. They called it something different specific one.
Speaker 9 (46:18):
It was a Showtime after Okay, thank you.
Speaker 2 (46:21):
Well that's not after hours. It's seven thirty four right now,
and I'm cognizant the little kids in the car something,
you know. It's funny though, like, and how old you, Josh,
what's your age? I'm thirty six, thirty six, okay, so
a little younger than me. So there was a thing
that happened like when I was a kid, like you
get cable and then they had the channel that had
the bunny ears associated with it stuff like that, and
(46:42):
we never got that of course for a little Irish
Catholic family and stuff. But every now and then when
you watch it and kids don't know this, John doesn't
know this, these squiggles would disappear. It was all squiggly.
They just morphed the channels. You couldn't see anything like
a blur squiggles, like the TV wasn't tuning in right,
and the swiggles would disappear for like three seconds. And
(47:03):
as a young Irish Cathol kid growing up in Connecticut,
you thought you saw something. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't,
and you would sit there and just wait for like
ten minutes, fifteen minutes for the swiggles just to clear
out for a second and then they'd squiggle again. That's
what we did.
Speaker 12 (47:17):
Oh no, remember that the height of a TEAMO where
you could pause by a TV.
Speaker 13 (47:22):
So yeah, I definitely remember that.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
Well, we didn't have that now, there's no TVO. Back then,
we'd put a VCR tape in and just fast forward
it if we caught it it pause. Yeah, all right, Josh,
thanks for calling, And we've gone too far in this conversation. Yeah,
no problem, all right, appreciate you man, Take care eight
six five four four MYFM. This song is such a
great sorng for Britney Spears. You like to swindle.
Speaker 6 (47:44):
I love this one.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
My wife loves us too. Sometimes it is one of
four to three MYFM Britney Spears sometimes one of four
to three MYFM and his balance head and the more
you got her on the line bright yes, sir, line five,
line five. Sometimes when you text, if you say something
(48:06):
that we're curious about, you're gonna get a call back. Hey, yeah, hey, hey, Vanna,
it's Valentine. How are you good? How are you good?
Speaker 1 (48:15):
You troll.
Speaker 2 (48:18):
Trolling me? I can't believe you wrote that. So we're
talking to the gentleman in the air a second ago,
and he goes he's thirty six, like a a bit
younger than me, and then Evanna writes in the text
line thirty six a bit younger, troll.
Speaker 8 (48:31):
I saw it made my day. You made you made
me laugh and I needed to last this morning.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Oh good, Okay, Well that's what we're here for. You know,
I always joke around in the air how we're like
a little breakfast table everybody's welcoming the table. So we've
got a We've got a seed for you too.
Speaker 10 (48:45):
Oh yay, I love it.
Speaker 8 (48:46):
I listened to you every morning.
Speaker 2 (48:47):
Oh thanks, Evanna. I just had to call you back
when I saw that comment.
Speaker 8 (48:51):
You have a great day.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
Okay. How old are you, Vanna?
Speaker 7 (48:54):
Hi?
Speaker 8 (48:54):

Speaker 1 (49:04):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming
up in entertainment headlines.
Speaker 7 (49:09):
If you're watching The Handmaid's Tale the Stars, No, it's
dark and sometimes hard to watch, and they have a
reward for us.
Speaker 6 (49:17):

One four to three my FM, Entertainment Headlines.
Speaker 7 (49:23):
Jimmy Fallon is going to host a new competition series
for NBC. He's created and will host and executive produce
a show called On Brand with Jimmy Fallon. It's a
competition series that follows what happens when he starts a
premiere marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever,
and competitive go getters he can find. Jimmy Fallon said,
(49:45):
I love branding, I love marketing. I love the world
of advertising, and I think there are a lot of
people out there who do.
Speaker 17 (49:50):
It well, and we will be able to see.
Speaker 7 (49:53):
Behind the curtain of how campaigns for some of the
biggest brands come together on this new show. And the
stars of The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu know that the
show is dark and hard to watch sometimes, and one
of the stars, Sam Jeger, who plays Mark, he says
the show's finale will reward the fans. He said, it's
(50:14):
a hard show. It's a hard show to watch for
some seasons. We know that we want to reward the
fans this year because we've put them through a lot.
Speaker 6 (50:23):
He said.
Speaker 7 (50:23):
It's just a really riveting season and a fitting finish.
He says writers really stuck the landing with the show's ending.
So the show's coming to an end, but we are
going to feel good about it once it's over.
Speaker 6 (50:34):
I'm Jill with Entertainment Headlines.
Speaker 2 (50:36):

mine and he just turned thirty and decided.
Speaker 4 (56:25):
That he wanted to become a teacher. It's like what
he wanted to do as a kid.
Speaker 5 (56:28):
But it was like kind of down in the dumbs
because he feels like he's getting that really late and
he's behind everybody else. So we got into that conversation
of like everyone's on their own timeline. And you think
of Sam Jackson, who was forty six when he got
his breakthrough role with Pulp Fiction. And you think of
Jelly Roll, who was thirty nine when he got Best
New Artists, or Ryl Crow who was thirty one and
it took her a minute to blow up and that
was her debut album. And then I thought like I
(56:49):
kind of wanted to hear from like not celebrities, like
people who just like wanted their dream job and got
it a little bit later in life.
Speaker 2 (56:56):
All right, texting three one oh four three, But right

I love that Barnes and Noble. The company plans to
open about sixty new locations across the country. One of
the reasons for that is tickety tickety TikTok. Book Talk

recommending books, and the hashtag book talk has around fifty

Speaker 5 (01:02:49):
He was pretty adamant about doing it for reals this time,
and now that we're about a month and a half out,
it doesn't seem to be going well. He has officially
his and his words postponed it. Who knows if it
will ever happen. But this time I will say, tickets
have been refunded.
Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
So look at that.
Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
You didn't have to show up to find out. I
wasn't planning right this time for learning. John Kimuchi, that's
today's music news.
Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
You didn't hear me, did you?
Speaker 6 (01:03:10):
I hear you saying stuff but I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
I was just saying, Billy mcfarn's Farlan's a tool.
Speaker 6 (01:03:16):
So I said, tell you who they're talking. I'm like,
I really was not talking to me. I can't hear uh.
Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
Coming off a chance at one thousand dollars at nine
o'clock plus. I made it late. Did you get your
dream job later in life? Texted at three one oh
four three.
Speaker 7 (01:03:26):
Casey texted it and said, I'm thirty five and decide
to go back to school. I'm going for nursing so
I'm going to be about forty when I start nursing school.
Speaker 8 (01:03:34):
I want to be a billionaire, so fucking bad by
all of the things on now the head.
Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
I want to be a billionaire, show.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
WICKI bed Rachel. How are you?
Speaker 9 (01:03:52):
I'm wonderful?
Speaker 14 (01:03:53):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Very good? So I made it late. Did you get
your dream job later in life?
Speaker 9 (01:03:59):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
I did? Okay, what were you doing? What did you become?
Speaker 3 (01:04:03):
So?
Speaker 9 (01:04:04):
I was a service representative, which is basically like receptionist
at Kaiser Permanente, and my dream job was an X
ray technologist. The technologist is the one that actually takes
the picture.
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Oh very cool.
Speaker 5 (01:04:17):
He yes, did you know you wanted to do that
the whole time or is that something you learned by
being the receptionist in your words at Kaiser.
Speaker 9 (01:04:24):
That's actually something I learned before I got into Kaiser,
And so I had gotten into Kaiser until I could
get some of the you know, prerequiesits for the school
as I was working as a front desker receptionist.
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Right, that is awesome. I don't know why I laughed, John,
I mean, I know why I laughed. But did you
catch it too? In your words? And yeah, you're being
canceled a specific title, and I think, uh, being a
receptionist in your words receptionist? Is receptionist a bad word?
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (01:04:51):
But like when you have a specific title, I think
some people are very adamant to be their title, you know,
okay as.
Speaker 9 (01:04:56):
A you know, derogatory term, but they that's not usually
a term A lot of people using more I think, yeah,
it's not. I don't know, should we.
Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Go back to secretary?
Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
Well, no, that was a joke.
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
That was a joke, all right, So x ray Tech
and that's a great job and you're enjoying it. Good
for you.
Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
How old were you when you became an x ray Tech.
Speaker 9 (01:05:22):
I was thirty five when I graduated the program.
Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
That's awesome, awesome. I'm so proud of you doing your
dream job like that.
Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Jill still root for her dream job.
Speaker 6 (01:05:32):
Yeah, one day, one day, I'll get there. Are you
kidding me? This is a dream job?
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
Is that your dream job?
Speaker 17 (01:05:37):
You told me?
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Like being hosting Good Morning America or be a dancing
reindeer at Disneyland. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm right, I'm right,
I know someday, Joe Rach thanks for calling and have
a great day. Where you at the six six to one.
Speaker 9 (01:05:50):
Yeah, that's where I live in Tanta Creta, but I
work in Panoramic City.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
All right, perfect, Thanks for sharing time with us in
the morning.
Speaker 9 (01:05:56):
Oh you're welcome. Thank you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one three.
Speaker 8 (01:06:02):
All right.
Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
The weather today, Well that was loud that one. Sometimes
they come on like kind of loud, these things. You're
sitting here and like, oh yeah, dude, to do and
all of a sudden.
Speaker 19 (01:06:12):
I don't do the.
Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Waking you up sands on stage Mayor comes out, Oh
my gosh. Eight thirty five Weather today cloudy, cool, light
rain expected today Tamp's Mostly in the sixties fifty seven
in North Hollowood, fifty nine at Huntington Beach. Jill's got
the entertainment headlines Coming up, Lindsay.
Speaker 7 (01:06:31):
Lohan is going to have her first lead role in
a TV series. I'll tell you about her new show
coming up at eight fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Did you get your dream job late in life? I'm
doing my dream job. If I had another one, it
might be like a park ranger or something like that.
I've got this misconception. I'm Tyler shares misconception. They just
drive around to a pickup truck through the backwoods, looking
at nature with a cup of coffee, listening to sports radio.
That's like my dream job right there. At least that's
the most part of the job. It's at least one
(01:07:01):
part of it. You see a barry, you go get
out of here. You know, see some hikers go where
they shouldn't get off that trail. Then you kind of
lean back and you're pickup. Maybe you're like a Tunda
or something like that from Toyota. You lean back, take
a little nap nap. You would thrive, thrive. I should
be an honorary park ranger and I've carried a gun before.
I was a police officer, so I have training from Connecticut, right,
(01:07:24):
you know, I'm ready. I'm ready. They probably work eight
hours or something. Yeah, yeah, for sure, texting three one
oh four to three.
Speaker 6 (01:07:34):
Did you get your dream job later in life? Beth said,
I became a special.
Speaker 7 (01:07:37):
Education teacher at forty six and love it. And then
Becky said, I was almost forty when I got my
dream job, and I love it and I feel like
I finally have a purpose in life.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Isn't this inspirational too? Like maybe you're going down a
path in life and you feel like you're stuck in
a rut and you just don't like what you're doing.
But from John's friend to these calls, to these texts,
you don't have to say, oh, it's passed me by
whatever your dream job is, unless you want to be
a major league baseball pitcher or a gymnast or something.
Certain points physically things can pass you by. Otherwise, in normal,
(01:08:08):
everyday life, you can still do the dream you want.
Maybe you're looking to write that book, maybe you're looking
to move into the medical field, whatever it is, you
still have that opportunity in front of you. If you're
up mobile and breathing. The opportunity is there even if
you're not. There are people out there have so many
things stacked against them with society and maybe physical things too.
(01:08:31):
Look at this sit like Steven Hawking back in the day,
the stuff that he was doing and everything that he
couldn't do physically, but yet his mind was still so
active the things he was doing. You can do it
texting right now three one o four three. Are you
doing your dream job?
Speaker 8 (01:08:45):
Now?
Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
One a four to three MYFM. It is Valentine in
the Morning eight sixty six five four to FOURFM. Texting
at three one oh four to three if you want
to get through to the show. Hi, Janay, good morning,
Good morning. Anybody ever play around with your name like,
got so much fun? I just want to do it
like Heyna.
Speaker 11 (01:09:08):
That used to be my nickname was Jeanne.
Speaker 2 (01:09:10):
Yeah, That's what I'm talking about. God is so much fun, right,
it is kind of fun? Does that bring back good
memories when I say it?
Speaker 9 (01:09:20):
It does.
Speaker 11 (01:09:20):
I used to babysit a bunch of kids and they
would call me nay.
Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
So well, that's the maturity level you're dealing with.
Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
Excuse as the leap out of you. Okay, okay, thank
you very much. Janay. Please do tell us your dream
job that you're currently doing.
Speaker 11 (01:09:41):
I am a registered nurse.
Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
Oh an RN. That's great. That takes a lot of work.
Speaker 11 (01:09:47):
It was a lot of work, but I made it well.
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
Thanks for doing that job. My mom's in a memory
care center, and so I've learned a lot about nursing
from lbns and RNs and CNA's and all the different
levels and stuff. And there's and I obviously didn't know prior.
Speaker 11 (01:10:02):
Yeah, yep, it's a lot of work. And there's so
many areas of nursing and so it's great. I feel
like what they do in the memory care center, and
then it's everywhere. There's just so many different areas.
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
So it's so cool to NA, what's your area.
Speaker 11 (01:10:17):
I'm actually right now, I'm a nurse case manager, so
I let's see. I manage like workers' comp claims. Oh okay,
you get injured that work, and you need, you know,
somebody on your side to advocate for you and make
sure you get all the treatment you need and whatnot.
That's what I do.
Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
That happens to me like daily here.
Speaker 11 (01:10:39):
I don't really deal with emotional abuse very much more
like injury.
Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
Yeah, that happens to physical animos.
Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Well, that's so funny. The most of these. She was
picking up on you, making fun of me exactly. Oh wow,
and she flagg did she clocked that? Okay, you two
aren't like filing a claim. Yes we are, time stamp
it today. Thanks for calling in and congrats in your job. Okay,
thank you, all right, have a great day you too,
(01:11:11):
But you got clock, you got totally closed for Sepanie.
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 11 (01:11:16):
How aren't you?
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
We're doing great? What's your dream job, Sevany?
Speaker 8 (01:11:19):
My dream job is being an elementary school teacher.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
And how late in life did you achieve that?
Speaker 8 (01:11:25):
You know, I went, I decided to go back to
school once my kids were a little bit older. I
had my kids very young in life, and I went online.
I did my whole undergrad online, and I actually had
to do my student teaching during the pandemic, so I
had to do that online. And then I was able
to land my dream job right after student teaching.
Speaker 5 (01:11:44):
Man, Like, does that get challenging? Like is there a
point where maybe you thought you might not be able
to pull that off?
Speaker 9 (01:11:49):
One million percent it's hard.
Speaker 8 (01:11:52):
It's hard to be a working mom, it's hard to
just be live in life, you know. But I stuck
with it, and I'm so glad I did because I
am so insanely blessed and I got everything I wanted.
Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
God.
Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
I love hearing that it's just it.
Speaker 5 (01:12:05):
I have a lot of friends who are at that
point right now, and some are very successful and some
are kind of reevaluating what they want to do once
you cross that thirty mark. Sure, and I think it's
important to hear that sometimes you can still go after
it and be happy.
Speaker 4 (01:12:15):
In a couple of years, you.
Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
Go through that reevaluation yourself, you know. Stephanie, thank you
so much for calling it. Congratulations on everything.
Speaker 8 (01:12:26):
Of course, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (01:12:27):
Have a great day.
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming
up in entertainment headlines.
Speaker 7 (01:12:34):
A recent Oscar winner just turned down a role in
a new Star Wars movie.
Speaker 6 (01:12:39):
I'll tell you who it was right after traffic.
Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
One O four to three my FM. Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 7 (01:12:45):
A recent Oscar winner just allegedly turned down a role
in a new Star Wars movie. Mikey Madison, who recently
won an Academy Award for the movie Anora. She apparently
just passed on this Star Wars movie that's being talked
about lately that's going to a Ryan Gosling.
Speaker 6 (01:13:01):
No word on why she passed, if this is.
Speaker 17 (01:13:04):
Even true, but allegedly talks.
Speaker 7 (01:13:06):
Have stopped with her to start with Ryan Gosling in
this next Star Wars film, and Lindsay Lohan is set
to star in and executive produced a new drama series
for Hulu. It's called count My Lives and it's based
on the novel by the same name. If it does happen,
this will be Lindsay Lohan's first lead role in a
(01:13:27):
TV series, and she will play a wealthy mother named
Violet whose new nanny, who's a compulsive liar, uncovers the
household's explosive secrets. So if it happens, it'll be Lindsay
Lohan's first lead role in a television series. I'm Jill
with entertainment headlines coming up. We will have another keyword
for you at nine o'clock for our thousand dollars, Phillip.
(01:13:48):
We have thirteen chances every weekday for you to win
a thousand dollars and that's coming up at nine.
Speaker 17 (01:13:57):
Little blanks, baby's baby, and.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
I'll write to name what A four three my family.
It is Valentine in the morning, hopefully. I said, Okay, today,
I'm not working on a ton of rest. I got
to bed like twelve thirty eight. Last night, cool I
was down at Beverly Hilton hosting something called the pole
Star Awards, the twenty twenty five Polestar Awards, brought to
by a Live Nation, And it's an award show. Polestar
is kind of the go to industry authority for tracking
(01:14:22):
analyzing live entertainment. Concert tours, venues, festivals, ticket sales, artists
all use them and it's an integral part of what
they do, right. So iHeart is proud to be part
of that, and they asked me to host the award
last night in Beverly Hilton. This room is full of
like Cia, you know, William Orris say people endeavor type people,
and then people that own venues, like people like Steve
(01:14:42):
Ballmer and stuff like that. It's a lot of heavies
and like you know, Irving A's officer, he got Personal
Manager of the Year Irving Azof and so there's all
these big wigs in the room and there's all these
celebrities and all these musicians and stars and promoters and
just people behind the scenes really bring us all these
concerts over the years. And so as a little taken aback,
(01:15:03):
you know, Usher's getting an award, Chaparow, Nate Bargatzy bad Bunny.
You know, Jelly Roll and I are sitting there back
in the area behind the stage, in the hole, so
to speak, and jelly Roll's hanging out with me. He
looks great, by the way, he's lost a bunch of weight.
So Jelly Roll, I'm going, hey, man's valf my her radio. Hey,
how are you nice? He's always very nice, even if
he didn't remember me. He's one of those people that
(01:15:24):
make you feel like, oh, that was a very nice interaction,
thank you very much. So I'm just going back and
forth hosting. You know, Springsteen gets an award, Jelly Roll.
Stephen Nicks is back there sitting next to me, listening
to about how great she is. She's back there getting
a big award and people were talking about her on
stage and stuff. She's like, yeah, they get to come
in the goat and somebody goes chanse the goat, like God,
they called me the goat. I don't know. She wasn't
(01:15:46):
in the goat.
Speaker 9 (01:15:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
I'm like, Tom Brady's a goat, You're a goat. To
you're Stevie Nicks. Oh my gosh, you're so amazing. I'm
telling her right, And she looked great. And then I'm
out at stage and I'm bringing out and I'm just
announcing winners and stuff. That was my job all night long.
Whi's a lot of pressure in front of all these
heavy So clearly thought Seacrest would be doing this and
we're missing forward to his budget cuts or something. Dose
came in and said, we're getting Valentine. So I'm on
(01:16:08):
stage and every now and then to be a package, like,
you know, somebody would get an award and they weren't there.
So they sent a video message. And this is a
Pole Star Awards last night, and so I hope this
lady is here, man, I'm really excited. The ward goes
to Missy Elliott and the beat drops. Missy Elliott comes
out the sweetest and there's such a funny relationship between
a host and a person who wins an award or
(01:16:30):
something like that. I've never met Missy Elliott. I don't
know Missy Elliott. I love her music. I think she's amazing.
She comes right up to me, I shake her hand,
we hug. I'm like, oh my god, so good to
see you. She's hugging me. We started not grinding is
not the word I'm looking for. It's not the word
I'm looking for. Like it just kind of like a
back and forward, like a bopping. We're bopping. We're bopping amazing. Yeah.
With Missy Yello. It's like, my gosh, you know. And
(01:16:54):
then Billie Eilis gets an award and stuff like that,
and so all these massive stars are there, and Bobby
Weir from The Grateful Day. John Mayer comes up in stage,
shakes my hand and says to me and my ear.
He goes, they got you doing the whole thing. Huh
just you, I go, yeah, just me. It's a long night, buddy.
And so John Mayer's great. Him and I are taking
a picture backstage. Bobby, We're from the Grateful Dad that's
(01:17:14):
up in my story right now. So an amazing night.
Had no idea how big the Paul Star Awards were.
Really I'm just blown away. And then it comes the
final Award of the night, which felt like eighteen hours later.
There were a ton of great awards, right, and the
final award of the night was for Major Tour of
the Year, and that award went to Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 (01:17:35):
Nope, no, if you show me a picture of you
and Taylor Swift, let's see it.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
I'm about to show to you, but you cut me off.
Speaker 6 (01:17:44):
Let me see.
Speaker 4 (01:17:44):
I'm angry, yeah, because they've already talked for like three
hours this morning.
Speaker 6 (01:17:50):
Whoa, Okay, I lost all feeling from the neck down.
I was about to be so jealous of you, you.
Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Jean my gosh.
Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
But the fact that you seem so angry, Yeah, that's
the amazing.
Speaker 9 (01:18:14):
So you got a picture where Taylor Swim.
Speaker 2 (01:18:16):
The fact that you were like so angry about it though,
well yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:18:21):
Him, I know.
Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
No, I'm telling you about Missy Ellie, telling you about
John May and Stevie Nicks.
Speaker 6 (01:18:27):
I was getting jealous.
Speaker 7 (01:18:28):
I think that's why, because the jealousy mountain was being climbed, right,
and then I was.
Speaker 6 (01:18:33):
At the top of it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
The jealousy Mountain.
Speaker 7 (01:18:36):
Yeah, wow, that was so many cool people that you
met yesterday, and then the Taylor Swift thing would have
not put you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
Over the edge. The look like Taylor was a little
bit special for you, Like you were just so so mad.
Like I could have said I met nobody, then I
met Taylor, you'd be just as mad.
Speaker 6 (01:18:53):
Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
I don't think it was a jealousy mountain. I think
you're covering your bases.
Speaker 6 (01:18:56):
With that there was a jealousy mountain, But yeah, I
would have been so mad.
Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
I can't believe that this is true. I'm walking over
to show her picture of myself and Taylor Swift from
last night, and she's just like, I don't know if
you guys even heard. It was a growl. It's like
an audible growl. I heard you here, John, I.
Speaker 4 (01:19:13):
Heard it and saw it on the face.
Speaker 5 (01:19:15):
Pretty Niley would have been one thing too, that you've
met Taylor Swift, but also because you've talked to her
so much before the show, this morning, during the show,
up until now us, I wanted to bring it up
that you met Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 (01:19:26):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, Well that
was an ugly side of me that just came out.
Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Who your friends are? Yeah, that was very ugly. Okay,
it's one a four to three. My fam. It is
Valence Out of the Morning.
Speaker 14 (01:19:40):

Speaker 1 (01:19:49):

Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
All right, it's nine twenty eight Vallance Out of the

yet of life on an alien planet. They did this
using the James Web Space Telescope. Basically, they've observed the
asses that are only produced by biological processes on Earth.
These gases come from algae, so it's not like they
found alien life forms walking around. But still they're calling
this a massive landmark discovery. This is happening. Got a

Speaker 5 (01:20:33):
We are coming up on Weekend two of Coachella this weekend,
and Speaking of the Weekend is announcing he's doing a
Ferris Wheel takeover at Coachella from Friday to Sunday.
Speaker 4 (01:20:42):
There's a huge ferris wheel there. We don't really know
what the takeover means.
Speaker 5 (01:20:44):
We don't know if he's just going to be there
himself doing something or if it's just promo for the
upcoming movie Hurry Up Tomorrow. But if you are going
to Coachella weekend two, definitely should check out that Farris
Wheel this weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:20:54):
John Kamuji, that's Today's music News.
Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
Did you isolate the audio when she thought I met
Tyler Swift? I did growls. Listen to this, did you
know your growled? Here it is let me seem angry? Yeah,
she literally growled one more time.
Speaker 6 (01:21:11):
Wow, let me see angry?
Speaker 19 (01:21:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
Can you take out the left channel, Briy, I want
this totally in the clear. Okay, this is this is
what we just heard when Jill thought I met Taylor
Swift last night. Here it goes.
Speaker 6 (01:21:29):
That's the Taylor Swift growl.
Speaker 2 (01:21:32):
That was a growl. What a fourth three? My family,
It is Valentine in the morning. Shout out to Josh Grobin,
Thanks for something by today. Josh Grobin's like the best
You know, so funny, coolest guy, very funny, very relatable,
and he told some great stories this morning. If you
missed it, he came by in the six o'clock and
(01:21:54):
I was half asleep, to be honest, because I was
hosting the Pole Star Awards last night. And so he's
very greatcious about that. You know, grow you're doing. You
raised me up, you know, say, he's very gracious. But
he stopped by it. And if you missed it, you
can hear it on your podcast after.
Speaker 7 (01:22:11):
The show, and he was talking about the fact of
what made me laugh so much was when he was
talking about the hummus on his vocal cords on the
charcuterie board.
Speaker 6 (01:22:19):
I don't know why I was laughing so hard. You
can hear it in the interview.
Speaker 7 (01:22:22):
But he's talking about the mischief and the trouble he
got in backstage. And he wasn't that type of person.
Speaker 2 (01:22:28):
Because his music wasn't pop. His music wasn't top forty
or rap or something where you figure out like they're
having parties and doing stuff. Because my music was designed
kind of for an older audience. Yes, it might be
having a charco perhaps pepper infused hummus, it was so
that's what was backstage. No one's doing blow That's what
he's basically saying. Yeah, no, no, no, I know that's
(01:22:49):
what he's saying. Nobody's drinking party and doing stuff backstage.
It's a charcutery board.
Speaker 7 (01:22:53):
But you can search Valentine Replay on the free iHeartRadio
app in order to find the podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:22:58):

in the background.
Speaker 6 (01:23:00):
You hear me laugh. It was really throw the head back, laughs,
open mouth wide.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
You've made some weird noises today.
Speaker 7 (01:23:07):
I really have.
Speaker 2 (01:23:07):
Yeah. How about that growl when you thought that I
took a picture of Taylor Swift last night?
Speaker 6 (01:23:12):
Let me see I'm angry.
Speaker 2 (01:23:13):
Yeah, listen to her. Grel is the craziest thing. I
gotta play it one more time. I'll do it in
the clear. Now here comes a grol, she growls.
Speaker 6 (01:23:24):
It was deep in the throat.
Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
Yeah, Because I was telling me about this event last
night I host to where I met all these slabs
and stuff, you know, John Mayer and Missy Elliot's hugging
me on stage for quite a bit of time for
some talk, and then I mentioned Taylor Swift and she's
just like so mad, so like, if you met Taylor Swift,
I swear to you, I'm gonna lose my mind.
Speaker 6 (01:23:43):
And I know you're supposed to be happy for your
friends and oh that's so nice.
Speaker 5 (01:23:47):
But no, most of the time that's the case. But
when it comes to Taylor Swift, all that's out the windows.
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
Yeah, but do you think I would have waited till
like nine to twenty five to tell you I met
Taylor Swift. I probably would have called you last night
and woke you up.
Speaker 17 (01:23:57):
I would hope so well.
Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
I would hope maybe I'm a Swift.
Speaker 6 (01:24:00):
You'd facetimer with me. Let me see. Yeah, now you
can hear the growling Verson.
