because you know how you hear the voices over and
over again. I don't recognize that one. Yeah, it sounds different.
Speaker 3 (00:39):

a lot more conversational, a lot less professional.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Did you choose that change?
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I did not.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
No, it just shows up. I've noticed it in the
color it was reading back text messages. Sounds like you

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yeah you too.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Okay, By Payton, you were on a podcast the other day,
you were.
Speaker 8 (02:40):
Yeah, it was cool. It was this guy that I
know from high school asked me to kind of come
on and hop on his podcast just talk about the show,
just talk about He called me a public figure at
you gross. That was like an ick to me because
I do not see myself as that way, especially when
somebody that I'm known from high school says that you gross.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah, but you want well, but you gross.
Speaker 8 (03:01):
Don't tell me that to my face, stay behind my back. Okay,
No that sounds stupid, but no, it was cool. I
just got to talk about my experience, like just being
on the show, being from Arizona, being on the show,
you know I grew up listening to. So that was
pretty cool. They're putting on this like super dope event.
It's like basically for like local artists and local businesses
(03:23):
and vendors just getting together and really just celebrating like
our city where we're from, because I feel like people
don't give Arizona enough credit, Like we're popping out here.
You just got to find the right people to do
it with.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
So that's cool. Yeah, voting, they don't give us.
Speaker 8 (03:36):
Enough credit, Like I don't feel like I feel like
Arizona is like people are like, oh, let's go to
like Dallas, or let's go to Florida or Miami or whatever.
It's like Scottsdale Phoenix area like is so poping. It's
so likely. We're such a growing state all the time,
and there's so many fun things to do out here.
We have beautiful weather all the time year round basically,
and so I just feel like we're slept on and
(03:58):
so I think we Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
I think we have like two cities in the state
that are like the fastest growing cities in the.
Speaker 8 (04:03):
Country, right, And it's like, I mean even where that would.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Mean that people are not sleeping on us.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
But I feel like they well yeah, but it's like
I know what you're saying. Yeah, it's like the vibes
like where do where do people want to go? L
A Chicago thank you?
Speaker 8 (04:15):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, jallous.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
It's like no one really usually brings up Scottsdale, Arizona
or yes.
Speaker 9 (04:22):
Grant, can I ask you a question to Peyton Peyton
as a public figure, what would you do to help
with developing Arizona as you know, more of a tourist.
I mean you as a pillar of the community and
public figure, and what do you what are your responses
to the allegations.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Again, Daniel, I want to find that public figure thing.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
What Grant handles all those interviews? Like I said, it
hearing so cringe crange that they called you public does?
Speaker 8 (04:52):
It makes me cringe so hard? Listeners, we love you,
things for listening, things for calling you.
Speaker 9 (04:57):
Were a public figure.
Speaker 8 (05:00):
First off, can you just tell me a little bit
more about you, because I didn't know about you until today,
So I'm really happy to meet you.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Different.
Speaker 8 (05:12):
This is a super dope setup that you got going on,
and I'm surrounded by creativity right now, so I'm really
I'm really appreciating that. But yeah, my name's Peyton. I'm
from Chandler, Arizona. I'm on the John Jay and Rich
Morning Show morning five to ten am. It's a personality
based show, so we like to have fun. We also
(05:32):
keep you up on all of the pop culture, all
the things you need to know about, basically all the
people that are influencing your life. Right we play fun
games all the time. We're always giving away tickets like
right now we're giving away tickets to Rolling Loud.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Which is sick. That's great, Which it's.
Speaker 8 (05:47):
Like, that's that's super dope. So we always have an
opportunity for you to go and kind of like winsome,
but it's super dope. Being a public figure. That was gross.
I come back and I dumb back and I said
you that was gross. You guys, I jumbled back and
said you that was gross. I should have never said that.
(06:08):
I'm cringing your.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Clothing brand name public figure.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Oh yeah, good name.
Speaker 5 (06:14):
It is for a brand.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
It is re public figure.
Speaker 8 (06:17):
But it's kind of like how like sometimes John, you
get the itck when people say influencer, Like that's how
I felt like, you know.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
I get the equine with that where we're called in
float right.
Speaker 8 (06:26):
Yeah, I'm just a twenty six year old girl, like I.
Speaker 9 (06:31):
Honestly, I think it's cool, guys that I mean, Peyton
obviously is a public figure, but she's still humble, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Like it's hard.
Speaker 9 (06:44):
It's hard to be you know, humble and be such
a strong pillar of our community.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Just in that room, she said, I like being surrounded
here by creativity. This is new in this room, creativity.
I'm leaving.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
The podcast because you're like, oh, it's from somebody I
grew up with high school.
Speaker 8 (07:06):
If you watch the video, the guy that was like
leading the interview, I didn't know him and that was
the first time that I met him. But the other
guy that was also talking in the background, that works
with the guy that was leaving the podcast, I've known since.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
So whose podcast is I think it's both theirs? Oh yeah, yes, Nick,
But we'll take this call Jody.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
Hey, have you guys seen Outlander?
Speaker 1 (07:27):
No?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
I not.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
I remember it was a movie in like nineteen.
Speaker 7 (07:30):
Eighty Okay, it is nothing like that, and I swear
to you it is my most favorite series I've ever
watched in my life. And my husband loves it too. People, well, listen.
So they started nineteen forty seven. It follows this lady
that's like a surgeon, and she ends up going through
these stones back to like seventeen forty seven, and it's
(07:52):
it's just a phenomenal, phenomenal series. And they're going on
their eighth season next year. But it is me and
my husband just rewatched it a second time because it
is so good.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Oh, we're thinking of Highlander. She's talking about Outlander.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
No, I think Outlander was a movie Sean Connery. I
remember we used to have Outrun, we used to have
Illegal HBO, and I'd watched it next you.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
Know Outlander, But I was just my my grandmother she
loves Outlander.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
It's like her favorite show and she has like four different.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Subscriptions because it keeps changing.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
I'm like, where's that.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
I think it's have like Stars Premium to get access
to it.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
But she showed me like the first season and it's
pretty incredible.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
It's really good.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Who's in it? Who's there?
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Star it is?
Speaker 7 (08:33):
I don't even know if you would know. So have
you seen on stars As? No one called like the
Neighbor's next Door.
Speaker 8 (08:39):
They don't have the Stars app Unfortunately, the Jon I've
been trying to get him to watch Power for years.
Speaker 7 (08:47):
Another does have Outlander. I think has the first five
or six seasons on Netflix. Oh, because my mom just
started watching it too, because it's been out since twenty fourteen.
But like I said, the next season is coming out
next year. That like finished this whole like finale, but
it is phenomenal and.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
The time like a time treble thriller.
Speaker 7 (09:08):
It's not a thriller, it's it has a lot to
do with history, but it is. It is phenomenal. That's
I mean, you guys really really just even watched the
first episode and from there it just every season gets better.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Well here, I found the movie out so much. Outland
is what I say, and then Outlander is this other show.
Yeah all right, well, thank you so much.
Speaker 7 (09:30):
Welcome, have a great day.
Speaker 8 (09:31):
Did you guys watch that Electric State movie? I know
we talked about it a little bit yesterday. Have you
watched it?
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah? I talked a lot about it.
Speaker 8 (09:38):
Yeah, I didn't know if you finished it or if
you got into it. I was really sad I watched yesterday.
I cried. I cried like a baby.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Oh my gosh, abundance or adolescents, what the hell was?
And then I watched that and I was like too sad.
Back to back.
Speaker 8 (09:50):
Electric State though so good, so good. It's basically like
it gives stranger things mixed with transformers. It's so good.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
And it was like Toy Story and Terminator.
Speaker 8 (10:02):
I mean either it is is so good. And as
I'm watching it with Kadem, he was watching it, and
he was like, this movie is so weird. And then
at the very end Chris Pratt, He's like, that guy's
a damn good actor. I'm like, he's a really good actor.
Because I'm crying like a baby.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Chris Pratt plays like the same guy in every movie.
He didn't you didn't cry because of Chris Pratt.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Well, I cried.
Speaker 8 (10:21):
He's just such a moving You know what part I'm
talking about at the end with Chris Pratt, I cried
so hard about.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
He's proud at the end. The emotional part is with
the brother.
Speaker 8 (10:28):
Well I cried then too, Yeah, with the brother in
the thing, I cried with the with Chris Pratt and
the robot.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Robot, there was a cute little surprise.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
You have to put him down.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
What happened. But you know who the robot is. That's
that's Anthony Mackie.
Speaker 8 (10:45):
Shut up. Oh my gosh, didn't he's getting some heat
right now. He said something or he did because he's
the Marvel guy.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Yeah, he's Captain America.
Speaker 8 (10:53):
What did he do? I don't remember. I shouldn't have
brought that.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
He said America about Captain America is America.
Speaker 8 (10:58):
Yeah, we talked about that.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
On the air. There's a lot talked about that movie,
and Kyle talked about Garry talked about it.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Hey, what what is this the Public Figure podcast? I'm
calling because I need to get you know, my my
favorite public figures, you know, just opinion on top cultures. So, Peyton,
what's going on in the world, what's going on in
the world of the public public?
Speaker 8 (11:32):
I don't know. Listen to John Jay and Rich shows
like they'll be able to help you out. Cringe, cringe,
Bye Gary Bye. No, the Anthony Mackie thing had to
do with the Eminem in the eight Mile that's it
wasn't the America thing.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
No, No, that he was in the New You said
he's getting some heat, right, So he's getting heat because
of the Captain America thing, the Eminem eight Mile thing.
He's just telling a funny story about Eminem, him and
Eminem bonding, and then Eminem used a bunch of his
real life stuff in the disc track.
Speaker 8 (12:03):
Oh is that what it was?
Speaker 1 (12:05):
And he's laughed at me. Oh I thought he was.
Speaker 8 (12:06):
I thought he was being all pissy about it. And
then everyone was getting heat.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
No, it's getting he was getting heat because he said
Captain America isn't about America.
Speaker 8 (12:12):
Okay, Well, Kyle, I knew that story, so I was listening,
so thank you for that.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
But I like the robot that was the brother.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
I thought, oh my gosh, it was so cute.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
It's so much fun to happen.
Speaker 8 (12:26):
That one scene though, it really was so sad. But
didn't it give you like Stranger Thing vibes? Like didn't you?
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Well? It did because I don't know Millie Bobby Brown.
For some reason, there's two big movies, This and The
Stranger Thing where they're hanging out in the mall that's abandoned.
Speaker 8 (12:37):
Yea, exactly. I'm watching it and could he evens like
he's like eleven, did you use your power?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yeah, because they're in a mall, Like man, I wonder
if she thought about that, because there's a part it
takes place in nineteen ninety nineteen ninety four, but there's
like a war, so it's like what could have happened
or something like that, And so they're living in an
abandoned mall, which is weird because that's what Stanger things.
They're wrong.
Speaker 8 (12:59):
Yeah, they have like these like iconic robots, like you
have this big sonic the Hedgehog one you have mister Peanut.
There's like so many characters that you notice that.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
You're like, oh, that's why I brought up toy sort yeah.
Speaker 8 (13:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
But and then they come to life, these like robots
which just.
Speaker 8 (13:13):
Like really recommend it, really right.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
But then there's like a war, and then there's people
that look like terminators that they're trying to kill all
the robots. And if you're a robot, that can kill you.
If you own a robot, you can go to prison.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
So after you've seen it a few days now that
your few days pasted it, do you think it's good now?
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Because I think you're kind of so so on it.
Yesterday I thought it was good. I don't think I
would have gone to the movie theater. See. I think
when they were making it, they were planning for it
the movie the movie because it's apparently the most expensive
movie ever made. And I believe that if you watch
the movie, there's only like four real people in the movie.
I think, right, yeah, everyone they do. He's like the
bad guy in Hunger Games, so he kind of plays
(13:47):
that same guy everything.
Speaker 8 (13:49):
Yeah. I like. What I really liked at the very
end of the movie though, was like the message because
the message was like the guy don't trust well kind of,
but he was like I finally have met somebody less
human than a robot. And then he like takes off
his little head thing.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Oh yeah, that was freaking gus fearing from breaking bad.
Speaker 8 (14:08):
It's it's such a good thing. It's just like basically
like we can live with robots if we treat them right.
And like basically the room the robots were saying like
that they are a people.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
See this is where I have like the adult ADHD
thing or autism thing, because I remember that moment he
says I met someone who was less human than a
robot and that I was trying to process that and
I don't understand it.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
I mean, because they're saying that the main guy, because
remember when they're talking to the brother and he's like
you're crazy, You're crazy. He's like okay and okay, and
he's like he literally was so desensitized. Oh he was
so decensized that this human was less human than an
actual robot who has no feelings or emotions. I was like,
dug two and a half hours for that. It's long,
(14:54):
it's about like two hours.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
I'm gonna stick with Dexter.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Sure you are. I got three seasons to go. It's
it's worth it, though I don't I wish. I think
the title of the movie is it should have been
a better can.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
It needs to be something short.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
I don't know, but Electric State like rope, something about
the robot and or warbot robot war.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Electric State sounds like an election movie to me, which
I would avoid.
Speaker 8 (15:16):
Oh and there's a president Is that? Is that the same? No,
there was a president that's talking about with the robots.
Is that Kennedy that's in it? You know what I'm
talking about?
Speaker 1 (15:26):
That that's Bill Clinton. There was actual footage of Bill Clinton,
and the aim is right, you gotta watch out for
those robots take over Ambery, Good morning.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
Good morning?
Speaker 2 (15:36):
How are you good?
Speaker 1 (15:37):
What's up?
Speaker 6 (15:40):
Who's this?
Speaker 1 (15:41):
This is everybody? You got? Peyton, Kyle Rich Me, John Jay?
Speaker 7 (15:44):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (15:47):
How's it going good?
Speaker 1 (15:49):
How are you?
Speaker 6 (15:51):
I'm good. I just wanted to tell you a funny story.
I call Peyton out in the wild.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
You called Peyton out in That's what happens when you're
public figure.
Speaker 6 (16:02):
Right now, I know. So it was actually a really
funny story. My husband and I were in line for
wait for the actors and actresses to come out of
the back of the building and we wanted some signatures,
and all of a sudden, I see this beautiful, gorgeous
(16:24):
woman walking with a security guard with nice braids into
the door, and I was like ooh. I turned to
my husband and I was like, I'm pretty sure that
someone that's like of importance. And my husband's like, oh really,
and I was like yeah. And and then so we
just watched some of the actors and actresses come out
(16:44):
and we and then Peyton walks out and she walked
right past me and my husband and I was like, hey,
who are you? What part did you play? She goes,
I'm not that good of a singer. And I was like, okay,
but you're someone and she goes, no, no, I'm not.
(17:05):
I'm not a big dill at all. And I was like, oh,
but you are, and she goes no it. She just
kept walking trying to avoid me, and I was like,
your had had and she goes, oh my gosh, how
did you even know? And she introduced me to her,
my husband and I to are whole her whole family.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
That was there, and it was her security guard.
Speaker 8 (17:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:27):
Serious, It was no damage.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
I guess that is no.
Speaker 8 (17:30):
Okay. So this was so awkward. So I stupidly, so
stupidly wore my great Grandma's very very expensive. Like I
almost said ancient. It's she's very old, so it is ancient.
What's the word I'm looking for? Vintage? Vintage huge on me?
(17:51):
And after the Wicked play, I lost my ring. I'm
like freaking out right now, and so I go and
I ask security if they had like seen a ring
or anything like that, and they said that they had
gotten a call that actually they did find what they
think is an expensive ring, and so I got to
go back into security and they brought me my ring.
But security is literally right where everybody's lined up to
get autographs from the actresses and the actors, and so
(18:14):
I'm walking out and it's like and I'm wearing all green,
like I'm alphaba out and they're like, I mean, I can't.
Probably twenty people are like what did you play? Hey,
And I'm like, I can't sing, I can't act, I
can't dance. Give me the hell out of here. And
then Amber was there and I was like probably three
or four espresso martinis in and I was very drunk yeah,
(18:37):
I was speaking gone Grandma's ring. Yeah, yeah, and I
like looked at my mom and she's like, are you serious?
Speaker 1 (18:43):
Right? But then you got it back.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (18:45):
Shout out to ASU Damage because they saved my ass.
But Amber, you were so sweet and your husband was
so sweet. Hope you guys made it back home safe.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yes we did.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
He's actually on the phone too, excited.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Because did you guys meet Alphaba or any of the
other witches.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Yeah, I'm the biggest fan of you guys for the
longest time.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Well, thank you, thanks a lot.
Speaker 6 (19:17):
Yes, yeah, he actually watched, not watched, we watch you
on Instagram now. But he so I grew up in
Utah and he grew up in Arizona. So he's been
listening to you guys for over like fifteen however long
you've been going, he's going. But then he introduced me
to you guys, and I became obsessed. And then we
actually just moved to Think George, Utah a few years ago,
(19:41):
and we're still going to listen to you now.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah. I love it. We're on the air there, that's great,

for calling in.
Speaker 2 (20:00):

Speaker 7 (20:00):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (20:01):

Speaker 6 (20:03):
Thanks to you.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
