We still haven't gotten our food, so we're sitting there,
we're waiting. The server comes out, brings us our food,
hands us our food. We're about to take our first bike.
He was like, hey, by the way, we actually have
a reservation here in fifteen minutes. And we were wondering
if we'd be able to take you guys in your
food and move you to like a reserved area in

the bar and maybe we can comp you dessert. And
I like, if we look around and we're like, okay,
we're the youngest people in this joint right now. We
are definitely by far, probably ten years younger than everyone
in this restaurant. They're coming to us because they think
we're gonna roll over and say, yeah, mind you, we
still have thirty minutes on our reservation. They're about to
cut our reservation fifteen minutes short.

Well, because for Christmas, I got my mom and my
sister tickets to Wicked, and I don't know what you
wear to a play? Do you get dressed up?

Yeah, but that was a long time ago, and that
was in Europe, and I feel like the fashion is different.

to see. It was like the girl version of Friday.
It was cute. I was expecting more, you.

rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Yeah, it was cute, but why were you expecting more?

Like, more comedy, more action?

I was expecting more comedy, I think, so, I think
I just my my. I was very excited about it.
It was very hyped up. I built it up a lot,
and and Sis it did a phenomenal job, and Kiki
Palmer's fun their chemistry is great, but I was just like,
h it could have been funnier.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
That's kind of my problem with movies, when people like
hype them up way too much and your expectations are like,
through the it's a decent movie, and if you had
zero expectations, you'd probably be like, it was really good.
But when people build it up too much, you see it,
you're like, what was the big deal?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Comedies are tough too, especially when somebody tells you it's hilarious. Yeah, yeah,
you gotta be one of the first ones to see it.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
But I liked it. I would watch it again.
Speaker 1 (07:15):

Yeah, I just feel like the switch up could be.

So I got this new vlogging camera and I've probably
no joke, probably spent like three hundred bucks on accessories
trying to make it the most perfect thing. I still
haven't even tried to learn how to work the camera.
I'm just buying all the excess.

It's a newer restaurant, and it's like, yeah, Grant went,
he went to like the grand opening, like the night
where you didn't have to pay for anything and you
got all like the free stuff. So he got the
good he got the good stuff. I actually went as
a girl's night with my friends. It's like right over
in Tempe at that Watermark area, like across from that
in and out in the Tempee Marketplace area over there,

and it's like an Asian fusion steakhouse. So it's like
prices of Domini's and steak forty four.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Oh, it's up, it's pricey.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
And here's here's my problems. First, the valet is a
block away from the restaurant. So you're telling me, I'm
going to this smooviie restaurant getting all dressed up and
I'm wearing heels and I have to drop my car
off away from a block away and I have to
walk my I was like, dang, okay, that blows.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
So you don't drop off your car at the front door.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
No walk away valet exactly, That's why I said. I
literally was like, why.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Are we valets shuttle to the restaurant and.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Then when you pick your car you have to walk
across the street to pick your car from Valets.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
Yeah, and there's really no other parking other than Valet exactly.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
So when you pull up in.
Speaker 6 (09:19):
A twenty sixteen Ford Fiesta, yeah, the Valets are just like,
we're not getting tipped on this one, and they didn't.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Over there, dude.

But the food there is nice.

Where's exactly I don't know.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
It's right, it's pretty much right across from Uh, it's
right across the bridge when you get off the two
two in Tempe.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Okay, I I don't market place.

It's like that's what the little shopping area it is called.
It's like it's like an.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
It's right by remember Pincheros. Oh yeah, it's it's right
across the street from there. But dude, the wagon tacos,
they give you two tacos and they're like this big.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Literally like thirty five dollars for tacos. That was another
one of my problems was the food was I mean,
it was fine, but it was so expensive for the
little portions.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
I was like, would get down, get kicked out?
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Oh yeah, let me get there, let me tell again.
Oh my god. I was so irritated. So we get there.
We have a five thirty reservation, they tell us, or
on like the little booking website says you have a
two hour maximum limit because it's a new restaurant whatever,
a lot of foot traffic. So we're sitting there. It's
like me and three of my other friends. We're sitting there,
we're eating, and it's like, I don't know seven so
(10:31):
we still have about thirty more minutes for our reservation.
We still haven't gotten our food, so we're sitting there,
we're waiting. The server comes out, brings us our food,
hands us our food. We're about to take our first bike.
He was like, hey, by the way, we actually have
a reservation here in fifteen minutes. And we were wondering
if we'd be able to take you guys in your
food and move you to like a reserved area in
(10:52):
the bar and maybe we can comp you dessert. And
I like, if we look around and we're like, okay,
we're the youngest people in this joint right now. We
are definitely by far, probably ten years younger than everyone
in this restaurant. They're coming to us because they think
we're gonna roll over and say, yeah, mind you, we
still have thirty minutes on our reservation. They're about to
cut our reservation fifteen minutes short.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
That's not cool.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
We already didn't get our food after. We had to
walk a block away from our ballot, and they like
put us in the very back corner. It was so annoying,
and so I sat there and we just sat there.
We were like, okay, well can we eat first? Like
we haven't even taken a bit.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
This is brand new, this restaurant's brand there. I mean,
only we have trying. I'm not trying to defend them,
but I'm trying to look at are they trying to
go We're trying to figure things out, man, shrew, Hey,
go to the young group over there. They seem pretty.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Flexible unless be not ready for primetime.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
But they should have comfort a whole meal. I think, oh, sure.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's the thing.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
If you're going to ask someone, it's like, yeah, free dessert,
But like what if I wasn't planning an Anian desert anymore?
Speaker 2 (11:44):
And that's where we went, Kyle, because we're like, we
don't want your birthday free cake. We said we'll move,
but only for free treat.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
Dude.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
The dessert there though, oh my god, they made. They
made a culinary thing.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
It was.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
It was supposed to look like the beach.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Were you there? It was?
Speaker 6 (12:00):
Yeah, dude, I got like a four course veal for free.
We were there for like three and a half hours.
Nobody asked us to move.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I don't know I would. I would try it again,
because I mean, you know, they don't even open for
like three weeks. Like I understand, you know, and no,
they're still they're open, but when I went, they'd only
been open for like three weeks, so I understand I
would go try it again, but maybe just for like
happy hours.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
I bet you guys were loud. They were like, we
got to get these loud ass girls out of here.
You know what, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I had never heard of this place, have you rich?
Speaker 5 (12:33):

Yeah, it's for the elites.

Obviously, I mean maybe, but I think I heard about

Very like gen Z leaned sort of steak counseling for us.

No, they have, like gen Z, But you're the youngest
one there they were.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
We were no, but dude, they had.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Yeah.

It was it was real wild because you just be
like eating and there's just like a girl that walks
by with like lights on and she's like in a
flowing dress. Did you get that dreamt? And she's just
like dancing past you, and you're like, what the hell
is going on? What is the theme of the restaurant?
Is it loud in there? They playing music?
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Really?

Not really, but it wasn't very like.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
In the main dining room. They have an entire wall
that's just a huge led screen and they put like
aquarium type stuff all over, and then they have a
DJ booth that's like a circle and it's elevated and
I think they turn up at a certain point.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
It was pretty quiet.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
It was pretty quiet when we were there too. Anyways,
