(00:00):
So it's time to give you thethree things that you need to know for
this Tuesday, September twelve, twentytwenty three. By the way, iPhone
fifteen is about to drop. That'sone of the things we got to talk
about. I want to say.September twenty second is the day that you're
gonna be able to start purchasing thesephones. But you're gonna be able to
get a first look at many ofthese phones today because Apple is doing their

(00:22):
big unveiling. Now, of coursewe've seen many different leaks, but the
reality of it is a brand newiPhone also means one thing, another upgrade
is gonna be coming out. AndI was gonna say, and your phone
may start selacking, it may starttripping a little bits. That's one of
the theories that we always have,Like when iPhone drops a new phone,
they put out that upgrade, andthat upgrade jams up your phone. So

(00:44):
if you got to buy the newone anyway, yep. And you know
what sucks about that they get youevery time, right, that's crazy.
Hey, you know what, Ijust realized the iPhone X stood for ten
like he was like last week. What literally just click time. It just
did they were like, hey,you have the iPhone? Tim Like,
Tim, I got an X meanthe ten. I'm like, then what

(01:07):
is X? All right, that'sfunny, but it's true. iPhone fifteen.
Get ready for that. You're gonnaget all the information to day it
drops September twenty seconds. I loveit. I'm not gonna get it for
another couple of years. Right,So, an iconic Los Angeles donors shop
is an expansion mode, and Fresnoappears to be part of the plan.

(01:30):
The latest so Randy's Donuts the signleast a five thousand square foot building near
Highway ninety nine and Ashley Avenue. Now, I'm sure you guys have all
seen it at some point in Englandwood, right, I mean, it's been
all over movies, TV shows, music videos, television shows. It's a
big donut Rand's doing it that everybodyknows about. So it's coming to Fresno.
There's no word on when when it'shappening, but they did say that

(01:53):
they are expanding and at some pointit is coming to Fresno and they're planning
on opening opening other Central Valley locationsas well. Also look out for that
and wrapping up the three things thatyou need to know in the world of
sports. The Jets pulled out agreat victory last night on Monday Night Football.
Unfortunately, four plays into the season, Aaron Rodgers was injured and now
we're finding out that he is outfor the remainder of the season. Wow.

(02:16):
So you've been watching Hard Knocks,You've been thinking the Jets, we're
gonna be that team this year.Starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers out for the remainder
of the season with a torn achillestendon. So there you go, the
three things you need to know.Right he was c Kan Carmen b ninety
five giving you all the juicy newsyou need to start your days. The

(02:38):
celebrity Juice is on now in themorning. Let's get into it. So
Sava's garry is at Britney Spears.Only X is looking for some money from
the star her second husband, KevinFedelheine, which we are are familiar with.
It's hardly thinking about taking brit tocourt to increase the child support because
quote, you never bargain to havethe kids full time. When they hashed
out the terms of support, startsto say that Kevin currently gets forty thousand

(03:00):
dollars a month for their two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. Now,
the amount was calculated on Brittany andkem having the kids fifty percent of
the time, but now the boyshave been living full time with their father
and Hawaii for the past couple ofyears. Actually so according to The Insider,
Jayden and Sean haven't even seen theirmother in the last two years.
So I don't know, Listen,I would say, maybe he's asking for

(03:20):
too much, but at the sametime, he does have a fair argument.
I mean, they agreed fifty fiftyand she and done her fifty and
I hear it's because the boys don'twant to go over there. But I
mean it's a disconnect there, youknow what I'm saying. There's a lot
more to this, but I can'tsay I blame him for wanting more,
especially if you know, if yougot kids, they get older and they
get more expensive too. So againI'm in their shoes, so I'm you
to judge them. But I dohave all the details up at the NY

(03:42):
five for life dot com, cK and Carmen's being ninety five Fresno's Home
for hip Hop and his you know, we got to talk about it.
Very excited about the third annual SanJauquin Valley Black Expo. It is happening
this weekend Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday going to be taking place
at Fresno State gonna be taking placeat Campus Point and Carmen, I mean,
this is a great event for thecommunity and it is definitely needed,

(04:04):
it really is. And the factthat you have several days so you can't
say, oh, I'm gonna bebusy this day, you have several days
from and let's go in and talkabout this event. Lovely Janice is in
the studio. Hello, Janice, how are you doing. I'm doing wellsy
Ka and Carmen, how are youdoing good? Doing good? Beautiful Queen
is in the studio, Yes,I am. Hey. Hey, all

(04:25):
right, So ladies, let's talkabout the San Joaquin Valley Black Expo and
just kind of talk about the purpose, what it's all about, and just
the event in general. So,as you said, this is the third
year for the San Joaukin Valley BlackExpo, and it is a communications and
systems network that we're designing up anddown the ninety nine quarter from Stockton into
modesto and the purpose I'm more Stockton, I'm sorry into Bakersville, and the

(04:49):
purpose of it is to showcase andhighlight black excellence up and down the ninety
nine day connected you know, aswe're talking about, it's connecting the community.
Yes, unity in the community.Rights. I made it up as
a community. I love it.We're focusing on five pillars. Not only

(05:13):
is this an expo on showcasing andhighlighting black excellence, but it's also information,
which is what we're trying to gatherand share. Setting some baseline information
that folks may not have and buildingon that education, use development, environmental
securities, economic development and enterprise andagrab business, which is what the Samuel
Quine Valley is. All of that. I don't yes, yes, and

(05:36):
these are not things that you're goingto learn in school. These are all
things too that are available for youright now, so you have to take
advantage of it. You know,it's right right right. There are all
tools that you can just utilize inyour everyday life to help to help your
community, to help your family, yourself. They're they're very useful. The
one thing I love about this eventis there's a variety of different things that

(05:58):
you can get involved in Thursday,Friday and Saturday. I mean, you
have vendors, you have people thatare gonna come out on Saturday and Sunday
at campus point, but you're alsogoing to get things started on Thursday and
Friday. Talk about how the wholeprocess works, what's going to be going
on, and some of the peoplethat are gonna be there to help out
and just give this information of thecommunity. Right Yeah, you're right.
Ck. The it starts on Thursday, and there'll be educational workshops for everyone.

(06:24):
You know, from you young adult, you know, the older generation,
the mature generation. I Okay,Thursday is a single focus on you,
right, Yeah, Thursday is allabout you, all about You're partnering
with the Fresnel State and the importanceof that is the numbers at Fresno State
in terms of African American attendance inthis valley are very low, and so

(06:47):
by partnering with the regional college andthis regional initiative, then we have an
opportunity for kids to come on campusand meet the campus president, meet the
new director our first student affairs, who's doctor Kent will Us. And that's
Thursday for youth is very very importantkind only how you can get into the

(07:08):
college, but also we have doctorVenice Curry who's going to be talking about
the environment. And your voice matters. And the voice that we're talking about
is definitely the youth or your voicematters. What is the environmental impact living
in the San Joaquin Valley? Comeon your life? Yes, I love

(07:28):
that. So Thursday is about focusingon the youth. And then you get
to Friday, Saturday and Sunday talkto us about some of the vendor booths,
the entertainment, the Wall of Achievements. Yes, so this year the
Wall of Achievement, we actually gonnahave a tenth that's set up. Your
voice matters, your story matters, and so we'll be having the tent set

(07:49):
up for those who are cut fromthe Fresnel Bakersfield areas like an area.
You'll be able to come in anddo five minutes on how your family got
to this valley. We'll become highlandthat over the next couple of years and
really telling the story of the AfricanAmerican journey in this valley, what brought
us here, what are the nuancesthey keep us here, and how do

(08:11):
we build a culture with black excellencehere in this valley. Oh, I
love this for so many reasons. You know there are parents or even aunt's,
uncle's cousins listening right now. Youneed to know how important this is
and what an opportunity is to takebecause it doesn't happen often and this is
a once in a lifetime opportunity thatI love that you guys are continuing to
do this because it is very importantto be consistent, you know, and

(08:31):
have these type of events that canreally share or spark creativity for the youth.
And like you said, Thursday isfor the youth specifically, but they
can actually come throughout the whole event. Right. Of course it's no cost,
No, it doesn't cost anything. You just got to register. But
there's no cost to this. There'sno cost, and we actually want to

(08:52):
highlight those who come from the valleyand may live in New York, may
live in in San Francisco, Florida. So everything is streamed right. All
you have to do is go toSJV Black Expo dot com. Okay,
and you'll get the highlights of whenwearand say that one more time because everything
is streamed and you can get thatwhere s JV Black Expo dot com.

(09:15):
And you can also register if youwant to go and attend locally at s
JV Black Expo dot com. Right, all right, before we let you
go, is there anything else youwant to say about this event, because
it's important, it's needed, Likeyou said, unity in the community up
and down the ninety nine quarter,Just real quick. Sunday's event, Okay,

(09:39):
Sunday for us is always one ofthose that's a praise and worship and
a thank you. And so thepresident of the College will be speaking,
Jim Consta, Congressman Costa will bespeaking. Our keynote is out of Mansfield,
Louisiana. We're connecting the dots sothat folks will know who and what
we are. And really, ifyou want to just get your prey,

(10:00):
I love this. Just give thanksSundays to day to do it. And
everything is from ten to six Saturdayand Sunday, from ten to two Thursday
and Friday. So there you goall the info that you need to know
for the third annual San Joaquin ValleyBlack Expo. It is starting this Thursday.
Once again, go to s JVBlack Expo dot com. CK and
Carmen being ninety five Swady hooking upwith Tiger yg birthday right there, Ck

(10:24):
and Carmen's being ninety five day beforewe get up out of here right about
now. We go around the room, we spread a little positivity, a
little thing that we like to docalled what's good, And Carmen, you
know what's good today? Yeah,it's my anniversary, So I gotta say
happy anniversary to my wife. Andthe one thing that hit me is I
feel like I have fallen in lovewith her over and over again over the

(10:46):
years, and it dawned on meabout how happy it was the first time
that I met her, and wherewe are now, and that we have
our beautiful family and our beautiful kids. And it's like sometimes you look and
you think to yourself, damn,I'm lucky. Moments popping your mind,
like the first time she wore thatsun dress at the fashion fair mall.

(11:07):
Yeah, it's crazy, right whenyou think of how your story started,
right where you're at now, yougo back and reminiscee, look at the
photos of you guys being at ayoung age. Yeah, that young love.
I we're just doing this for funin the moment, and hear you
guys man, I'll tell you rightnow, I'll never forget Saint Patrick's Day,
the day that we met. I'llnever forget how we lived in the
same apartment complex right there at Champlainand Pairing. You know, I did

(11:30):
this old corny way of trying toget her phone number. I said,
well, why didn't you give meyour phone number the last time I saw
you? Or maybe it was morelike, why didn't you ask me for
my number the last time I sawyou? You know what I mean?
And then like the first time wemet, like I didn't ask her for
a phone number, but my wholetime, I was like, I want
to see her again. I don'tknow how I'm gonna see her again.
And then when I finally saw her, I was like, well, why

(11:54):
didn't you give me your number, you know, instead of put it on
her instead of me. Okay, man, I'm just telling you, man,
I love my wife so much.Happy anniversary, Mary. I love
you, man, fell in loveover and over again. I know you
guys gonna make a special this week, and I love it all right.
What you got there, Carmen wasgood. So you know, I love

(12:15):
seeing We both love highlighting stories ofcelebrities. Want to do kind things.
Yeah, the community. So CristianoRinaldo so he made his hotel in Morocco
available to shelter or as shelter forthe victims of the earthquake if you remember
that took place. It was likea six point eight magnitude by the way,
claiming over a thousand lives and injuringover twelve hundred people. Well because

(12:37):
of this, because he made thisavailable, they are now able to shelter
until they figure out what happens next. I didn't even realize my man had
a hotel. I didn't either.So apparently it's called Hotel Bastana c R
seven's in Morocco and yeah, yeah, I didn't know that either. But
how cool is that? Though? He rich rich? Yeah you know you're
rich rich. When he was like, you know what, shut down the
hotel, just give it to everybody, right, yeah, my Hotel CR

(12:58):
seven. But you know what, shout out to Christiano Ronaldo for doing that.
