just kind of talk about the purpose, what it's all about, and just
the event in general. So,as you said, this is the third
year for the San Joaukin Valley BlackExpo, and it is a communications and
systems network that we're designing up anddown the ninety nine quarter from Stockton into
modesto and the purpose I'm more Stockton, I'm sorry into Bakersville, and the

purpose of it is to showcase andhighlight black excellence up and down the ninety
nine day connected you know, aswe're talking about, it's connecting the community.
Yes, unity in the community.Rights. I made it up as
a community. I love it.We're focusing on five pillars. Not only

is this an expo on showcasing andhighlighting black excellence, but it's also information,
which is what we're trying to gatherand share. Setting some baseline information
that folks may not have and buildingon that education, use development, environmental
securities, economic development and enterprise andagrab business, which is what the Samuel
Quine Valley is. All of that. I don't yes, yes, and

these are not things that you're goingto learn in school. These are all
things too that are available for youright now, so you have to take
advantage of it. You know,it's right right right. There are all
tools that you can just utilize inyour everyday life to help to help your
community, to help your family,yourself. They're they're very useful. The
one thing I love about this eventis there's a variety of different things that

you can get involved in Thursday,Friday and Saturday. I mean, you
have vendors, you have people thatare gonna come out on Saturday and Sunday
at campus point, but you're alsogoing to get things started on Thursday and
Friday. Talk about how the wholeprocess works, what's going to be going
on, and some of the peoplethat are gonna be there to help out
and just give this information of thecommunity. Right Yeah, you're right.

You know, from you young adult, you know, the older generation,
the mature generation. I Okay,Thursday is a single focus on you,

with the Fresnel State and the importanceof that is the numbers at Fresno State
in terms of African American attendance inthis valley are very low, and so

by partnering with the regional college andthis regional initiative, then we have an
opportunity for kids to come on campusand meet the campus president, meet the
new director our first student affairs,who's doctor Kent will Us. And that's
Thursday for youth is very very importantkind only how you can get into the

college, but also we have doctorVenice Curry who's going to be talking about
the environment. And your voice matters. And the voice that we're talking about
is definitely the youth or your voicematters. What is the environmental impact living
in the San Joaquin Valley? Comeon your life? Yes, I love

that. So Thursday is about focusingon the youth. And then you get
to Friday, Saturday and Sunday talkto us about some of the vendor booths,
the entertainment, the Wall of Achievements. Yes, so this year the
Wall of Achievement, we actually gonnahave a tenth that's set up. Your
voice matters, your story matters,and so we'll be having the tent set

up for those who are cut fromthe Fresnel Bakersfield areas like an area.
You'll be able to come in anddo five minutes on how your family got
to this valley. We'll become highlandthat over the next couple of years and
really telling the story of the AfricanAmerican journey in this valley, what brought
us here, what are the nuancesthey keep us here, and how do

we build a culture with black excellencehere in this valley. Oh, I
love this for so many reasons.You know there are parents or even aunt's,
uncle's cousins listening right now. Youneed to know how important this is
and what an opportunity is to takebecause it doesn't happen often and this is
a once in a lifetime opportunity thatI love that you guys are continuing to
do this because it is very importantto be consistent, you know, and

have these type of events that canreally share or spark creativity for the youth.
And like you said, Thursday isfor the youth specifically, but they
can actually come throughout the whole event. Right. Of course it's no cost,
No, it doesn't cost anything.You just got to register. But

highlight those who come from the valleyand may live in New York, may

Yeah, it's crazy, right whenyou think of how your story started,
right where you're at now, yougo back and reminiscee, look at the
photos of you guys being at ayoung age. Yeah, that young love.
I we're just doing this for funin the moment, and hear you

the day that we met. I'llnever forget how we lived in the
same apartment complex right there at Champlainand Pairing. You know, I did

this old corny way of trying toget her phone number. I said,
well, why didn't you give meyour phone number the last time I saw
you? Or maybe it was morelike, why didn't you ask me for
my number the last time I sawyou? You know what I mean?
And then like the first time wemet, like I didn't ask her for
a phone number, but my wholetime, I was like, I want
to see her again. I don'tknow how I'm gonna see her again.
And then when I finally saw her, I was like, well, why

until they figure out what happens next. I didn't even realize my man had
