Yasmin nominated her brother, Anthony, for Make Happiness Happen. Anthony was involved in a hit and run by a drunk driver. He was left with many injuries including a broken leg, pelvis, and collapsed lung.
Anthony is known to be the life of the party, his presence smile and positive energy is basically the glue to his family. Anthony was diagnosed with Type l diabetes a year before he graduated and it has been rough for both Anthony and his family. He is a 2019 UCSB graduate, majoring in Anthropology and Biology with a minor in psychology.
Yasmin believes that her brother is going to need both financial and emotional support to recover from this incident and hopes that San Diego will donate to his GoFundMe.
