Swift finally released her first reputation, Taylor's Version track in
a surprising way way when When What's happened the latest
episode of The Handmaid's Tale? Oh all right, that's where
you get it. The song underscores a dramatic scene where
June Osbourne leads the rebellion.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
All right.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
It's the first official release from Swift's anticipated reputation, Taylor's Version,
one of the two remaining albums she's re recording to

twin yeah girls that are just they're Swift.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
The song's not yet available on streaming platforms. It's inclusion
in the series has fans expecting a full album announcement soon,
possibly at the upcoming American Music Awards, which Jayla will
be hosting, and Taylor Swift will probably be, you know,
doing some big announcements there. That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
She's dropping Easter eggs on her website too. Mike and
I were looking at her website. She's arranged a section
with where it starts with a M. A's like the
sections spell out A M A. You guys were so
know it's weird.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
It's swift. Oh yeah, deep in the rabbit hole. That's great.
All right, Well, today is a National b Day. My
neighbor is a bee keeper. He's got a bunch of
the bee keeper things, racks or whatever you call it called.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
It's an apiary. I want to be I want to
be a beekeeper. I have two dreams in life, el
and it is to be in a barbershop quartet and
to also be a beekeeper.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
Ellen came morning shot.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
If you startle a honeybee, it makes a little whoop sound.
What Yeah, the equivalent of a tiny bee gasp. So
you start a bee, if you sneak up on one
and startle it, it goes whoop because it's actually gasping.
It's afraid. Yeah, So be kind to your honeybees. Just
be kind to each other. Let's go inside entertainment. It's

Speaker 6 (03:53):
Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
It is your happiness hack. Little things just to make
you happy. We're sharing with you at this time of
the day every morning with Ryan Marrow.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Happiness Ellen is a new text. This is a study
from UC Berkeley, and they studied people's reactions when we
just get text messages from friends. It could be anything
a question, a gift, I don't know, a name, whatever,
just the hey, how are you? And people's happiness increases
immediately when they look at their phone and see a
text from a friend.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
I didn't know that when I sent all three of
you the La Boo Boo AI generated text photo that
I made. Is it an emoji? And I used the
AI to make it and it's a little boo boo
monster face and I send it to you.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
All made us all happy.
Speaker 12 (04:38):
My husband always catches me looking at my phone smiling yes,
and he's like, who's making you smile?
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Who is making you smile?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
All of my friends?
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yes, So just send the text.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Who would it be?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Right now?
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Ellen?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Who's one person? Just thinking of no, no, no, that
doesn't count because you text call them all the time, Like,
just one friend. What are you going to say to him?
Speaker 13 (04:57):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Okay, I'm gonna say I love you. Okay, who is
it is going to be? It's going to be my
friend Candace.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Okay, do that.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
That's it?
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Send her the little momoti all right.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
So that's hack number one. Hack number two is just
on a shoe string. Today just happened right before the show.
Dar walked in and I was like, what is that smell?
And I look over and she sprang suntan lotion on
herself and it smells like the beach And she said,
what did you tell me? Make this your finish? Every morning?
Speaker 12 (05:23):
Yes, just start off with a spray of sunscreen in
your local office, because it the smell like makes you
feel like.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Excited, like you're going to the beach.
Speaker 12 (05:32):
But also it's protecting your face and it's a very
cheap way to make your skin look glowy.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I love it. You are glowing.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
You hand out hops Up with the Morning Show.
Speaker 10 (05:47):

You guys are the best.
Speaker 9 (05:55):
I love listening to you. I listen to you every day.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
We love being here with you. Post one oh three
point five Top Stories Top of the Hour, Good morning,
I'm Ellen K. And next month's Pearle hearing for Eric
and Lyle Menendez has been postponed. The new date is
August twenty first, which means the brothers are going to
wait at least two more months to learn if they're
being released. Also, even if the pear Board does sign
off on granting freedom, that decision will ultimately have to
(06:19):
be approved by Governor Newsom. And now let's talk trials.
During Sean Diddycombe's ongoing federal trial, testimony continues to be disturbing.
Carrie Morgan, best friend of singer Cassie Ventura, testified that
after Comb's allegedly assaulted Ventura at the La Hotel Lobby,
which a lot of us have seen that video. He
(06:39):
then showed up in her apartment wielding a hammer broke
down her door while shouting outside. She also stated that
she was signing a non disclosure agreement in exchange for
thirty thousand dollars following that incident for her silence. And
what is the most beautiful name in the world? The
study says the most beautiful name and this comes out
of the University of Birmingham Research evaluated one hundred names
(07:01):
for from netic appeal, rhythm and emotional resonance. It comes
from ancient Greeks. It is Sofia. Sofia the most beautiful
name in the world. Beyond its pleasant tone, the name
carries deep cultural and philosophical meaning. Derived from the Greek
word sophia, meaning wisdom. Sofia is closely linked to ancient
Greek ideals. All right there it is if you are Sofia,
(07:24):
tell everyone today that you have the most beautiful name
in the world. And what about this Dodger is looking
to snap a four game s get tonight against the
d Backs. Seven tens start from the ravine on our
free iHeart app and if you are going it's Mexican
heritage Tonight, select ticket holders receive a limited edition Lucha
Libre themed Dodgers jersey. How cool is that? And what
(07:44):
about this? After Warner Brothers Discovery ended its partnership with
Sesame Street, Netflix has swooped in to save the show.
Season fifty six well kickoff later this year. How to
get to Sesames Love and then warm up? Is here?
A mini heat wave? Highs today breaking ninety five. We
have triple digits tomorrow and then we stay there. Van
(08:06):
Nice is ninety for your high Valencia ninety five. It
is sixty five. Pedburmank Kost Los Angeles Coast to one
of three point five presented by Celsius Energy Drinks, your
talkbacks and your cash coming out.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
It's the Lank Morning Show. Thank you, Ellen k.
Speaker 9 (08:23):
Just real quick, a little kiss on you well, thank
you so much for making my day.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
Host one oh three point five one K Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
It's your talkback Tuesday. We love to share your talkbacks
and you can really use it to be on the
air about anything. What's going on in your life? Do
you have any questions, comments? You want to shout out
to someone you love. It's so easy to do on
our iHeartRadio app. You go to coaster's a microphone, you
tap it, you talk to it thirty seconds, and then
you're in our studio. I love the how just automatically.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
In some tours we get notified Hey new talkback.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yeah. Oh but before I get to Jeff who just
dropped one on us. Yeah, My son Calvin sent me
a story. He said, hey, you guys can talk about
this on the air. Thank you. Calvin. Waimo now does
more rides than Lyft in San Francisco. There are only
three hundred waymos. Lyft has forty five thousand drivers. This
(09:17):
is in the Bay Area. Every Weimo is doing more
rides than one hundred and fifty human drivers. WHOA, So
that's a lot of math. But but there are way
fewer waymos than lyfts, and Waymo's doing more in San Francisco.
And we took a few waymos in San Francisco and
those hills and it's a little you're a little bit like,
(09:38):
oh my god, we're like on a steep and steep hill.
But I don't know, we haven't had an incident yet.
And I was just in Santa Monica Boulevard in West
Hollywood yesterday and there were like five of them. I
was surrounded. There were two in front and like three
in a line behind. So they're everywhere. Now Wamo's doing
way Moo rides.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
You know those like little guys that do the delivery
on the sidewalk.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yes, I love the little robots and they have names
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
They wear name tags.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Now, my sister sent me an Ellen.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, it's amazing, and I feel so bad when they
get stuck, Like, I don't know what's the protocol. Do
we go help them? What do we do?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
I've seen people help them curve. I think it's fine. Okay,
I think it's fine. Yeah, Like I would be afraid
to touch them, but I think it's okay.
Speaker 12 (10:23):
They should put like a warning sign or QR code.
So yeah, you feel like we're.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Doing the right thing. Yeah, that's good because when we
see when we see someone who needs help, we should
help them. Like that barber shop that was playing baby
Shark songs to drive away the unhoused around his shop
changed his heart because maybe father Greg Boyle or Homeboy
got hold of him said when you see people suffering,
you don't make them suffer more, you help them. So
(10:47):
now instead of playing baby Shark, the barber shop is
doing outreach and he's going to help them with, you know,
all the clothes they need and the food, so that
he doesn't have to try to drive people away from
his shop up Instead, he'll help them. So I think
that's good. Yeah. I think the long answer Ryan to
a short question is yes, let's help the robots. All right.
(11:10):
It is Talk Back Tuesday. Thank you for dropping this
on us, Jeff.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Good morning Ellen. I love listening to you in the
morning and the station throughout the rest of the day.
You are all at refreshing break from everything that is
going on in the world.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Love you guys, oh, Jeff, love you too. All right.
This one's from Dahlia.
Speaker 14 (11:32):
Good morning everyone. I really need some help. My sister
is currently dating a married man. He says he separated,
But I need to.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Know how can I get my sister to see the
light and to wake up. I don't feel right when
I'm around him and her at the same time, I
feel like I'm doing something wrong. What can I do?
Thanks so much? I love your show.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Oh, thank you, Dahlia. Oh what kids?
Speaker 11 (12:01):
You do?
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Nothing?
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Well? Yeah, I mean, what do you do? Do you
say something? I'm sure she has but that's interesting. She
feels like she's doing something wrong because her sister is
doing something wrong. The guy says he's separated, but he's
still legally married. That's a gray area. But I've known
a lot of people in that situation who have dated
(12:25):
started dating someone who's separated but still legally married. So, Dalia,
thank you for your talkback.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
I think you give it time, right, I think we
just see how this goes. If the guy separated and
they're building a new life, I mean, what are you
going to do? Well? Can you do?
Speaker 4 (12:40):
It's awful.
Speaker 15 (12:41):
I've been in that situation because let's just say, the
Rodrigo family loves to socialize, okay, and I have learned
that I just I make an effort to not engage
and I want them to feel.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Feeling so so if it was your sister, you just
would you'd freeze her out totally. Okay, all right, it's
eight hundred ninet two nine kost we got your cash
on coast coming up? What should Dalia do? And also
we are Ricky Martin in Las Vegas. She bangs, it's Coast.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
It's the LNK Morning Show on Coast one O three
point five and there's Mark coming. It's the L and
K Morning Show.
Speaker 16 (13:23):
I wake up to your station, I work out to
your station. I listened to it throughout the day, and
I go to bed listening to it. Thank you for
all that you do. You guys are absolutely the.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
Best coast one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Let's get you to Ricky Martin in Vegas. Oh yeah,
this is gonna be amazing. We're gonna send you to
Ricky Martin. He's a superstar. I'll never forget him on
stage at Wango Tango Dodger Stadium and the entire stadium
was doing their arms in the air with Ricky. H okay,
So he's going to be the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace.
(13:57):
Two exhilarating performances over Mexican Individends day weekend September twelfth
and thirteenth. You also get a two night hotel stay
and a gas card for the road. Tickets don't even
go on sale until this Friday, so these are tickets
before you can win them. Let's gets you to Ricky
Martin in Vegas. It's a whole weekend for you. Love
that man, and you are least likely to do this
(14:20):
between eight am and eleven am. You are least likely
to do this between eight am and eleven am, So
those three hours you're just not gonna do this. What
do you think it is? Eight hundred nineteen nine, kost,
I'm gonna get your guesses.
Speaker 6 (14:38):
Next, it's the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
It's so much fun to play the ellen KQ and
A on my way to school.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
Coast one oh three point five. It's the llen k
Q and A on coast one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
We have twins on the line, hi Elle and Penelope. Hiy,
Hi girls. So you're in third grade? Are you eleven?
Third grade?
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:01):
That's good. Now, do you guys have that twin like
that twin feeling if you're not together, but you can
feel what the other one's feeling.
Speaker 10 (15:08):
Yeah, yeah, are.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
You best friends?
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Our producer Mike here has twined nine year old daughters,
also in third grade. Yeah all right, Well, anyway, welcome
to the llen KQ and A. We want to play
the game with you. You are least likely to do
what between eight and eleven am social socialize, okay, because
maybe you're at work or school. That's a great guest. Twins.
(15:35):
Ellie and Penelope. It's not the right answer. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 7 (15:39):
Okay, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Try again, have a great day at school. We go
to Matt, a stats professor in Culver City.
Speaker 11 (15:46):
Hi, Matt, Hi, hell are you?
Speaker 1 (15:49):
I'm good? Members are your life?
Speaker 11 (15:51):
Huh? Well that is almost over, so I'll be doing
other things this summer.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Oh okay, all right, Well Matt, what is your guest?
What are we least likely to do between eight and eleven? Am?
Speaker 11 (16:05):
My guess is going to be Amazon reterms?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Oh okay, fascinating guests.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
How did we get there? How'd that come to you?
Speaker 11 (16:16):
Well, because there's no one there at that time?
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Oh okay, Amazon returns, we don't do them between eight
and eleven. It's a good guest, Matt. It is not
the right answer. Okay, all right, try again. We go
to Hudson. Hudson is a senior at Harvard Westlake. Congratulations
Hudson on graduating soon.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Yeah? Are you excited?
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (16:41):
I'm really excited.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
That's awesome. What are you going to do? You know?
Speaker 1 (16:44):
After?
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Are you? Are you going on to something nice?
Speaker 16 (16:50):
There?
Speaker 1 (16:50):
You go? Are your parents from there? You just want
to go to that school? Or what's the story. I
just want to go there. Yeah, Chicago's a great city.
Speaker 9 (16:58):
It's fun.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
You are going to have fun, all right. Hudson, twelfth grade,
Harvard westleg A senior getting ready to graduate. You're least
likely to do what between eight and eleven am.
Speaker 11 (17:08):
Shop for groceries?
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Shop for groceries. That's a good guess. I've been to
the grocery store between those hours, and well, it's slim, pickens,
it's easy to get around. There's not many people there.
It's a great guess. It's not the right answer. Okay,
but before you go, I will see you at the
Ralphs right there on Cold Water. I go there quite often.
I see a lot of Harvard Westlake kids in there.
Speaker 10 (17:29):
See you there, Patrick, Hi, good.
Speaker 8 (17:34):
Morning, good morning.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
We hope you stay cool. Patrick. It's going to be
super hot the next three days.
Speaker 8 (17:41):
Well that's good. I'm going to be cleaning the blinds
of the house and I hang them and they drive
super fast when it's hot.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Oh, okay, you did good. Good? All right, Patrick, what
is your guess? You're least likely to do what between
eight and eleven am. I'm going to say, lie, Lie,
how did you come to that?
Speaker 8 (17:58):
Because I'm thinking in the morning, you need your coffee, breakfast,
lunch before you get fully charged. So if somebody comes
up and you don't want to tell the truth, you
can't think of lie to say because your brain's not
fully charged.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Okay, that's really good logic. Yes, and Patrick, are you
ready for some good news?
Speaker 11 (18:16):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Okay, you're right. You're going to Ricky Martin in Vegas
whole weekend?
Speaker 8 (18:22):
All right, cool, so cool.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
These are before you can even buy them, and it's
a whole weekend.
Speaker 6 (18:29):
Ricky Martin love all right. Wakes up with the lak
morning shows.
Speaker 10 (18:36):
You guys are awesome. I love you too.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
Post one a.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Three point by top stories top of the hour. Good morning,
I'm Ellen k And this is thrilling. If you've ever
wondered why Uno isn't a playable card game in Vegas casinos,
that's about to change starting next month. Mattel they make
Uno is opening a nighttime social club inside the Poems
in Vegas, transforming that area into an l elevated VIP
space with full on Uno gaming tables. How fun is that?
(19:04):
Mattel's head of Games, Ray Adler, says the Vegas experiment
is just the beginning and they intend to take it
nation wide. And from thrilling to grilling. Grilling goes back
about one point eight million years. We have been we've
been cooking things on fires, and now it's time for
you to throw a twinkie on the barbie. It may
sound crazy, but there are experts who say grilled twinkies
(19:26):
will become the greatest cookout dessert since roasted marshmallows. The
fire does amazing things to the snack cake. It caramelizes
the outside of the cake while making the cream filling
meltier and gooier. You can enjoy grill tweinkie on his own,
or you could add some chocolate surper ice cream. But
when you're grilling this weekend, think of throwing a Twinkie
on the barbie. All right, what about this? We do
(19:48):
have this heat advisory and it's going to go all
the way through Thursday. Eve. Today's highes up to ninety
five tomorrow and Thursday showing ups triple digits. Right now,
it's already sixty five in Burbank, kost Los angele Us.
It's coast one oh three point five. More of your
talkbacks coming up this hour. Also, we've got Dodger tickets
for you, so listen to win those. And flying cars
(20:09):
are coming really soon, like next year. The first mass
produced flying car is going to go on sale early
next year. They're not cheap. They're going to be about
two hundred and fifty thousand dollars up to one million dollars,
so it's basically just a sports car with retractable wings.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
LAK Morning Show.
Speaker 17 (20:31):
Producer Min Ramos, Charlee Robrio, Ryan.
Speaker 6 (20:44):
Meadal, I's see LAK Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (21:00):
You guys are amazing. I appreciate everything you do and
for making everybody smile every day, no matter what the circumstance.
Speaker 6 (21:08):
So thank you Coast one O three point five for
the one K Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
And it's a talk back Tuesday, so talk to us,
take us everywhere you go on the iHeartRadio app, and
thank you for making us your preset. I'm Elan, I'm
Ryan Manno, I'm social Queen Darling and never reducing my cromos.
All right, guys, so we're getting a lot of calls
about this talk back Tuesday. Dahlia left us this.
Speaker 14 (21:32):
Good morning everyone.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
I really need some help.
Speaker 14 (21:35):
My sister is currently dating a married man, he says.
He separated, but I need to know how can I
get my sister to see the light and to wake up.
I don't feel right when I'm around him and her
At the same time, I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
What can I do?
Speaker 5 (21:56):
Thanks so much? I love your show.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Oh, thank you, Dahlia. I can see you're not feeling
comfortable with your sister dating a legally married man. Let's
go to Carol. You heard, Dahlia. You have thoughts.
Speaker 7 (22:10):
I think it's wrong, and I think it won't really
go anywhere with you know, this split, and it's just
a temporary situation, and that's uh terrible for the rest
of the family to be upset.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Yeah, and then you know, everyone here is an adult.
So sometimes do we have to let the people we
love make their own mistakes or do we try to intervene.
Speaker 7 (22:35):
I think I would let them make their own mistake,
but I don't think it will work out.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Okay, all right, Carol, will have a beautiful day, stay cool.
Speaker 7 (22:44):
Okay, Well, I can't believe that you answered the pump.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
We do it all day though.
Speaker 9 (22:50):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Carol.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Have a great day too.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Bye bye, Carol. You're so sweet? All right? So yeah,
Dahlia is is dating and living with a married man,
says he's separated. Well, he'd have to be separated of
course if she.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
If she's living there. And by the way, we don't
know what led to their separation. This could have been
an unhealthy relationship. Maybe she was, you know, maybe she'd
stepped out on him. Maybe she was maybe she left him. Yes,
we don't know that part of that, all right.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
All we know is that Dalia feels like she's doing
something wrong when she's hanging out with her sister. Darlene said,
if it was her sister, she would freeze out and
just you know, let her be and no contact ice
cold ice.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Colle But you guys, why, like, I'm.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Not going to deal with that. It's not my problem.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Of course it's not, so don't deal with it.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
Just be your Yes, I'm not gonna help it grow.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Right, Well, maybe the benefits of her staying are too good,
like he's loaded with money or something.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
You know, it could be that.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Yeah, it could be could be a gold digger situation.
Who knows. But still, like, how is it how they
always say how it starts is how it ends? So
you know, is it a temporary thing she just having
and is he a lot older than her? Like I
don't know the age gap or anything like that, but
(24:06):
if you're in that situation, and we know that in
the Rodrigo family there have been some instances. Yeah, give
us a call. Eight hundred and nine two nine KOs
here use the talkback button. Now, here's what's happening. Every
talkback Tuesday at nine forty five, we give you a prize.
So Brandon digitally gets all of your talkbacks and then
(24:27):
he puts it through the processor and it picks one. Now,
today we're going to send you to Hugh Jackman. He
is opening the Hollywood Bowl on June seventh. So you
win a pair of tickets to Hugh Jackman just for
leaving us a talkback. So why not use it? Go
to coast on the iHeart app and you'll see the microphone.
Leave us a talk back. You could win your way
into opening night at the Hollywood Bowl with Hugh Jackman.
(24:50):
And we're going to make that drawing at nine forty five.
It's going to be so exciting and so fun. So
don't forget to leave those talkbacks. You could be with
this man up on them. I got a That's a
(25:16):
great shower song, isn't it.
Speaker 6 (25:19):
It's the Lank Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (25:21):
It's like having breakfast. Listen good friends.
Speaker 8 (25:22):
When I listened to You'll, oh.
Speaker 6 (25:25):
Thank you Host one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
However, you're listening for Vin to Win. Sometime before nine,
you will hear Vince go always say it's time for
Dodger baseball. And that is when you call for Dodger
tickets and a fifty dollars Uber Eats gift card so
you can sit in your seat. Order Uber Eats. They
bring the food to you while you're at a Dodger game.
Listen for Vin to Win. So, so talk back Tuesday.
(25:48):
All of your talkbacks are going to uh Brandon and
then electronically entered into Winning your Way to Opening Night
with Hugh Jackman at Hollywood Pole. So what going on?
We got your talkbacks so earlier this morning we heard
from Dahlia and she said that her sister is dating
(26:09):
a married man and she feels really uncomfortable around them.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
It's interesting too, Ellen. She added that she feels like
she's doing something wrong just by being with them.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Right, Yeah, because imagine, I mean, it's a situation where
what if the wife's guy comes to find him and
then sees the two sisters, and then all of a sudden,
the sister's part of it, right. I don't know all
kind of scenarios could happen. I watch a lot of movies.
I could do a lot of shows. Let's go to you, Howard. So, Howard,
(26:42):
you you've kind of walked this walk. You know what
this is all about?
Speaker 9 (26:46):
Well, I ask in this situation, my sister was seeing
the married man, And what I did was I told
my sister I didn't approve it is and that she
shouldn't be seeing them, And then I talked to the
married man, telling them about improve of the situation. Let
I know, my sister wants to be married and she
can't do that while she's seeing you. She can't meet
anybody else. So they both knew where I stood. I
(27:10):
thought they were doing wrong. And if you can't control
of what either one of them do, they both I
was a reminder that A this is wrong, and I
don't have to feel bad by hanging out with them
and feeling like I was supporting them.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Right, So what happened like what happened with them?
Speaker 13 (27:24):
Oh?
Speaker 17 (27:24):
No?
Speaker 9 (27:25):
His wife finally divorced him, and he still didn't marry
my sister.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Oh okay, well that's not a good end.
Speaker 9 (27:32):
Yeah, no, no, but you know, and I told her
us what's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Okay, all right, you knew what was going to happen.
Your sister is obviously okay with it, so is the guy.
So you know, I go back to an earlier call
where sometimes do we let the people that we love
walk their own walk and make their own decisions and
even if it's a bad decision, they have to learn
from it, or do we try to intervene and then
(27:56):
look like a meddler?
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Is that meddling? You know when you're like, but I
but I know this isn't gonna this is gonna end
in tears when you just feel it in your bones.
I guess you could say it, but then you're not supportive.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
It's not meddling when they're putting it in your business.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Okay, you know what I mean? Yes, Yeah, so you're
you're right, you're like, don't bring that around me.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Yeah, it's actually disrespectful.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Yeah, okay, but guys, he's separated, I'm not, but he's
technically still married in the eyes of the law. But
there he lives with her. Now they live together. It's
not like he's hiding a secret family.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
All right.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Well, I have a friend who technically saw a guy
who's technically still married but separated for four years and
they're not together, and I feel like she wasted her
time big time.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Did you tell her? Oh yeah, you know a hold on,
But did you tell her in the beginning?
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Oh no, I didn't see it in the beginning. I
didn't even know. None of us knew about it until
it was almost over. Yeah, they kept that real quiet.
All right. Well, more of your calls, your talkbacks, all
here coast.
Speaker 6 (28:59):
One oh three points. Catch the ellen k Morning Show
on demand on the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
So many calls, Uh, Dahlia, Dahlia's sister's dating a married man.
All right, let's go to you, Stephanie. So you heard, Dahlia.
We're getting so many calls about this. I guess it's
a lot more common than you think. So what is
your situation?
Speaker 10 (29:22):
I am still married from my issue. The thing is
that we don't always know, and it's easy to sometimes
a lot to comment or oh it's not a good thing,
or anything like that. But I'm separated, and after I did,
my income is a lot higher than his, and I
have two kids. Have to be very careful because he's
not a good person, and if I separate him, I'm
(29:45):
afraid he might want to take my kids and also
take part of my income. I'm not currently dating. I've
spoken to people, but very I disclose. I tell them
the situation, but I also have to look out for
me and my kids.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
I got you, So if there's a guy interested in you,
you let them know just the honest, bare bones, here's
all of me, just so that they're informed.
Speaker 7 (30:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (30:09):
No, I mean yeah, especially that I say yes, I
am technically married. I've been separated for almost eight years.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Yeah. Well, look, you're making your way the best you know.
How have some guys been scared off by your situation?
Speaker 10 (30:23):
I've honestly never been in a real relationship. I've spoken
to people and it's never materialized. But I think maybe
if it, if it were to materialize, and it would
be a different story, then I would say, Okay, I
need to make a decision.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Okay, all right, Well, it sounds like you like you're
doing the best you can for the place you're in.
Speaker 10 (30:45):
Yeah, it was very nice talking to you. I love
you guys. You guys are amazing.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
I love you too, Stephanie. Hang in there. I will

Scully the color twenty for Dodger ticket. It's in a
