Speaker 1 (00:00):
And our buddy Ashley Smith Thomas joining is not a

(00:01):
political strategist. Thank you Ashley for being back with us.
Why I tell you, these judges they're dropping like fry
or flies. Rather another one's been arrested from Wisconsin. But
what was the last week? Judge Joel Kano and his
wife Nancy both arrested for interfering with what's happening, getting really,
you know, upset about the bad guys being deported from
our country. Welcome in, thanks for being here, thank you

(00:24):
for having me. Yeah. I find it so weird that
the common sense is just not prevailing here and that
so many illegals are here. And Donald Trump ran on
the fact that America voted for close the border down
and get rid of the band guys. Yet here they
come jumping in the way, and Tom Homand warned them,
you get in the way, We're going to arrest you.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Absolutely. And I think what is most shocking here about
what happened in New Mexico is really how twisted this
story is. From the standpoint that you have this judge
who's a magistrate judge and his wife Nancy, the fact
that they were helping to harbor these illegals on their property,
to include an alleged TDA gang member, and that itself.

(01:05):
Remember on day one, President Trump had sign executive order
issuing TDA to be a terrorist organization. And so now
you have a judge who is potentially harboring a terrorist.
And so this here, the fact that this judge and
his wife had tampered with evidence and was trying to
protect these immigrants is mind blowing to me. But you know,

(01:29):
you look at during President Trump's campaign when he was
running for president, and even on day one, he made
it very clear that he will restore law and order
and that we will have safe streets. And so when
you have these judges who are getting in the way
of that happening, it is refreshing to see that Attorney
General Pam Bonding the DOJ is working to restore law

(01:52):
and order by holding these judges accountable and making a
clear example out of them that if you get in
the way of harboring, aiding and the bedding, obstructing and
destroying evidence, and trying to prevent the enforcement of the law,
they themselves are breaking the law. So to see that
these judges are being held accountable, I think is a good.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Thing one hundred percent. Now, we haven't heard from their
attorneys on this issue yet. It's not like they're claiming, oh,
we didn't know. We just hired him to do some
handyman work around the place. We didn't realize he was
associated with this gang. They're not going that route, are they.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
No, not at all. And so really there's been a
lot of evidence that the federal prosecutors have, Particularly on Friday,
Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that this one alleged individual
that it has ties to TDA or Tago Lopez, that
they were protecting. His social media activity revealed content suggesting

(02:50):
his ties to TDA. He also there was photos on
his social media of two people that were decapitated. And
so what was really interesting too is that he had
access to guns, high powered guns and ammunition. And so
on February twenty eight, the Feds had searched the property.

(03:11):
They seized four guns along with three cell phones that
belonged to Ortego Lopez, except one of them was missing
and the judge's wife, Nancy, was holding onto that phone
and come to find out, on April twenty fourth, federal
agents search the Cano home to locate that missing phone,
and during questioning, Judge Canno admitted to smashing the device

(03:31):
with a hammer five weeks earlier because he believed it
contained incriminating photos and videos of Ortego Lopez with guns,
and he threw it into a dumpster. According to Attorney
General Bondi, So this isn't looking good for the judge
and his wife, and it's reported that they could face
up to fifteen years in prison. But I appreciate Attorney

(03:54):
General Pam Bondi. She made it very clear on Friday
that the rule of law is simple, doesn't matter what
life kind of work you're in. If you break the law,
they will follow the fox and they will prosecute you.
And is exactly what is happening one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
I mean, if you're going to jump in the way
here and I don't know why, knowing the court system
the way it works, why as a judge, you would
jump in here with your wife and protect these people,
knowing what they're all about, what was on their social media,
what was on their phones, their background. I mean, what
person in their right mind and in the United States
of America would go, you know what? You know this

(04:27):
gang has been clarified as a terrorist organization, and I'll
tell you what I've seen, what they're guilty of, and
I've seen what they've been, you know, doing to people
across the globe, and when they come into my community,
I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going
to help protect that what is happening here with our
country with these people outrageous. Well, I appreciate you update.
Thank you so much, Ashley Smith Thomas
