Speaker 1 (00:01):
Well, sometimes you have good days in fantasy. Sometimes you
have bad days, and a lot of the times it
is luck. It's how luck plays out. And unfortunately for Thor,
luck was not on his side this week.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
It's time to review your fantasy team here.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Now, Commissioners.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
For Fantasy Freakin' Football. Yeah, you know, when I say luck,
it can mean like who you're matched up against. You know,
when you have a lucky week of like, oh, man,
I didn't score very much, but the guy I played
against he scored even less. That's perfect, that's a good feeling.
Or it could be you know, like luckily my guy

(00:47):
was on by this week and I had to play
somebody else and he goes off.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
That's a good week. That's like, oh, I'm feeling really
lucky about that.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
But then you could also have bad luck weeks where again,
who you're matched up against, where I can't tell you
how many times this year I've had a great week,
but then I play against the guy who has the
top points, like that's happened to me a lot this week,
or you know, bad luck is I've just chosen the
wrong guy. We covered that last week a lot, where
you go, oh, I'm between two guys. I choose the

(01:15):
wrong guy and it's screws.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Screws, like what happened to me last week? I just
got lucky in one.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, and see that that can happen for me this week?
I just again I'm zero and three again this week
on the down trend. I don't know what happened. I
started out pretty good. Yeah, I was doing really well
in my OG league. I was in first place for
the first I want to say, like four or five weeks,
and then I was doing pretty good and other other
was like kind of always mid guy. And now I'm

(01:39):
just falling off a cliff. I've lost like I don't
even know how many in a row in our one
league and our work league. I've fallen, I mean barely
in the playoff hunt. So I mean I'm a mess
right now. And again, my teams are good, I'm just
running into juggernauts and they're not performing as well as
they were. And so I did have a spot this
week where and again I don't this one I'm not

(02:00):
that mad about, because why would.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I do this.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I I'm the guy that had Taysom Hill on his bench. Yeah,
you know Taysom Hill who had him at Yeah, so
last week I didn't follow my own advice. It was
my start at tight end and tough. But I have
Mark Andrews. So Mark Andrews has been going great and
three or four weeks.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
And you're not gonna put Hill in the.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Why would I do that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
You know, so, I mean I just didn't even think that.
You know, I thought he had an opportunity to have
a good week and if for some reason Mark Andrews
wasn't performing or next week when he's on a bye, perfect,
I'll play him. But of course I didn't play him
this week, and he has over thirty points and that's
why I lost. I lost by I think ten points.
So if I would have made that switch, I would
have won. So things like that can happen. That one

(02:43):
doesn't kill me because again, why would I do that?
So I'm fine with that. You, on the other hand,
had one of these situations where you're pulling your hair
out because it's just brutal.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
So, yeah, it was one of those games where my
guys didn't I went, oh, last week, I got lucky,
he went three, and oh this week three of my
league's one league, I'm just the dead last place I
can't get a win. I don't even care about it anymore.
I make sure my line upset because it's the right
thing to do. But I'm not doing really anything anymore.
I'm in the last the other two league, our work
league and our other league that we're with my buddies,

(03:14):
and I have Calvin Ridley, I have Nico Collins, and
I have Derek Henry and Jonathan Taylor. Henry and Taylor
had a terrible games combined for seventeen points least Henry scored.
Henry scored, which is great, but Henry also had about
i want to say, six points taken off the board
because of flags. Multiple times he had a big either
a screen pass or a big run for like ten

(03:35):
to twelve yards, he got taken off the board for
back to back flegs. Was brutal. Then I go to
Calvin Ridley catches a fifty one yard bomb. I'm pumped.
Here we go flag illegal format such eleven points off
the board a legal formation. And what's crazy is I
watched a lot of that Titans game. They got screwed
by so many flags, and like flags in big spots

(03:56):
that were so questionable not obvious, like the illegal formation.
The guy was like a couple inches off the line.
It was ridiculous. Why call that there? So that screwed me.
Then okay, So I'm down thirty seven points going into yesterday,
and I have Brandon Aubrey Nico Collins left. I think
I have a shot, an outside shot because it's PPR

(04:16):
first play of the game, a seventy seven yard touchdown
to Nico Collins. Yeah, I'm thinking, holy crap, that's fifteen
points right out of the gate. I one hundred percent
am now in this because I was the first play
of the game. Flag called back for an illegal man
downfield and he was like barely downfield? Are you kidding me?

(04:37):
So I'm like, I composed myself and free, like, okay,
I'll be all right. Brandon Aubrey, who's my kicker, misses
a forty yarder off the upright. Then he kicks a
sixty four yarder, but Texans get a penalty and they
disregard the field goal and try again to get a touchdown.
They go for on fourth and two and ended with
no points. It was like, oh my god, not score points.

(05:01):
If you take those plays back, that's about thirty five points.
I would end up scoring one to fifty and one
of the highest points that week. But you can't take
it back. And then in our league, our work league,
I just made the wrong call. I overthink things, and
I'm like, Denver's playing in Atlanta, they have a good defense.
But let me pick up Detroit. They're playing Jacksonville. They're

(05:22):
gonna score a ton of points. Well, Denver on my
bench got twelve, Atlanta got nine. I mean Denver on
my bench at twelve and Detroit got nine. I end
up losing by three. Otherwise I would have won by
point six.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
That's brutal. Yep, yeah, that it will happen.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
So it's just one of those weeks.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, it's bad, one of those weeks for sure. All Right,
hit us up with your questions. Hopefully we will bring
you some good luck.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
You can email us your questions every week or hit
us up on X at the show Eddie or at
the show Thor and we will try to get to
them every single week. This question does come from XA
says would you go with lad McConkey versus Baltimore or
maleak Neighbors versus Tampa with Tommy Cutlets in that quarterback.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Now, you know this is brutal for you.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
I I can't stand what the Giants are doing. Shane
and Dave Wall both need to be fired. I usually
when you fire a coach or bringing in a new quarterback,
usually that team does well that first week gives the spark.
But here's the deal. The Giants are terrible home and
on top of that, de Vito sucks. He had three

(06:35):
people only remember his Packer game against the Commanders. He
was average. Again the following week against the Patriots, he
was average. They got blown out by the Cowboys. He's
not good. He was he was inactive for a reason.
People are acting like he was his good quarterback. Uh,
I am not starting Milik Neighbors. Really, I'm benching him
and starting Calvin Ridley and and uh Nico Kohnen.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
You have Malik in all three leagues I do.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I'm gonna I'm gonna start him. I'm not starting in
one league. I just read something that makes me want
to start him, and I'm I know at the last
second I'm gonna want I'm gonna overthink it put him in.
But I would start Ladd McConkie. The Ravens defense, the
secondary is terrible. He's their number one receiver, him and
Quinton Johnson. I would go with Lad McConkie. I just
I don't know. I don't trust Malik, I don't trust

(07:19):
Tommy DeVito.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Yeah, it's it's really tough because you know, you would
think this is a no brainer. Malik, you know, had
started out the season so well and then he's kind
of fallen off a cliff and that's basically because of
the quarterback plays. It's not his fault, but you know,
if if I'm putting in a new quarterback, I gotta
imagine this plan to throw it to the number one target.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I think there's two guys, the only two guys in
the Giants offense that can have big games are Tyrone
Tracy and Milik Nagbers. Because they're gonna hand the ball
to Tyrone Tracy and they're gonna try to throw it
to Melik Neighbors. So if you're going that way, I'm
also biased for a negative. I don't I hate the Giants, right,
So I listened to Ed more on this question.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Honestly, I would still probably go with Neighbors. I know
mcconkey's been okay. I mean It's not like he's lighting
the world on fire either. He does Okay, he does
pretty good. But I would probably say that neighbors is
still I would still give him the chance and see
if he could come through for you.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I just yeah, you might get a lot of garbage
time points because I see a blowout. I see the
Bucks blowing them out.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Dang ye all right, I got a quarterback question here,
Patrick Mahomes versus Carolina or Tua versus New England.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
This is easy, really, I'm starting Mahomes. That Carolina team sucks.
They cannot stop seeing Patrick.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Really, you have a giant game yet though.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
They're coming off a loss. I think he's going to
be angry, and I think Patrick's going to have a
giant game.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
I could see. You know.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
This to me is weirdly enough a coin flip. Yeah,
because Tua, I mean that Dolphin offense is completely different
when he's in there, and you know, Tyreek Hills getting
back in points, the running backs are back in points.
So I don't think it's a really that crazy of
a question. But because the Chiefs are playing against Carolina

(09:06):
and it's a get right game, I mean, if they
come out and kind of you know, don't look that
good or whatever. I'm really concerned about the Chiefs, so
I do. I gotta give it to them, and imagine
that Patrick's probably gonna have a pretty good game. Maybe
he runs a couple of them in something like that.
So yeah, i'd give me if you're right.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
If they weren't playing the Carolina i'd say start to
you know.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
All right, this is pick one for PPR League. Deebo
versus Green Bay, Quinton Johnson versus Baltimore or Terry McLaurin
versus Dallas.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
I'm going with McLaurin. H I don't know what happened
to Debo lately. He didn't play that great last week,
doesn't look he doesn't look long snappers they're asking for.
Terry McLaurin is playing a terrible Dallas team, So I'm
going with term.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, but again, you know, Jade and Daniels has kind
of come back to earth. Terry McLaurin, Uh, two weeks
ago he had one I think one catch, so I
mean they're not even feeding him the ball that much.
Quentin Johnson has hit or miss still, I mean I
still don't completely trust him. I know you were talking
about Baltimore's defense, which is true. Probably why it's a

(10:12):
question Deebo. Man, It's hard for me to say because
Deebo can go off at any point.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
I feel like they're number one receiver right now. Is
Jawan Jennings it is?

Speaker 1 (10:23):
It's yeah, But you know, Deebo is still a Swiss
army knife. They'll still run the ball with him, They'll
still do a bunch of wacky plays with him. But
you're right, he just doesn't look completely right. I would
give a slight edge to Debo, but I don't think
you're wrong going with Terry McLaurin. Final question, running back,
start Aaron Jones or Austin Eckler. Eckler has done way

(10:44):
more lately, but I've been starting Jones. I feel like
this might be the week I put in Eckler.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
You know, I I would. I have a start to
pass to do with that game, But it's not Eckler.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I think it tells me who it is.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
I'm not telling you what I think it could be
recod that way. That being said, that being said, I
still may start Eckler just because the Cowboys run defense
is that bad. I mean, look what they did yesterday.
I were too on Monday night. He couldn't stop anybody.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
You know the thing about Eckler which I love, And again,
I don't know whether this is a PPR standard league.
If it's PPR, I'm one hundred percent starting Eckler because
they throw him the ball like ten times a game.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Yeah, and you may think the Bear stink. They don't.
They're not that bad on as people think, like they
should have won the Packer game and their defense is
still really good.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Aaron Jones, he can he can score a touchdown or
something like that. He's not breaking one hundred yards every
game anymore. Things like that. I like Eckler, though. I
think Eckler is the start, which is tough to say
because I get it. You know, Aaron Jones is probably
the better name, and he's the starter where Eckler is
sort of you know, the other guy there, but but

(11:56):
they utilize him a lot. Yeah, So I do like
Eckler in that one. All right, starts and sits for
the week at quarterback. Who's your start?

Speaker 2 (12:03):
I start this week? I said it. I think the
Giants are going to get smoked by the Bucks Baker Mayfield.
Other than the Niner game, has been having a really
good year and he played really well at the end
of that game. You may get Mike Evans back this week,
and if you do, they're going to score a lot
of points against the Giants. So I'm starting Baker.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
My start this week is a guy that I was
high on before the draft. I am going to take
credit for this one because I was big time on
bow Knicks. Remember I was screaming at you.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I I didn't want to say anything.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
You've been credit for you, Nick.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
You've been right about the Knicks man.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Bow Knicks has come out and he may have overtaken
Jayden Daniels for rookie.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
That he's got nineteen touchdown He's been incredible.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I mean literally incredible, and you know, it really does
help having Sean Payton as your coach. I mean, he's
an offensive whiz and he does remind me.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
A lot of Drew Breese everyone, which is crazy.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
So bo is going to continue his hotthand against Vegas
this week. I like bow Knicks. Who's your sit?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
I sit this week because guy's coming. He's not. He
hasn't fallen back down to earth. He just come down
a little bit. And that's Sam Darnold. He's not playing
at the level he was this season. It's at Chicago,
always a tough place to play. Bear's got a good defense.
I'm not starting for Sam Donald this week.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
That's not good for me because I've justin Jeff. I'm
gonna stay you know what my sit this week. I'm
gonna stay in the rookie class, even though this guy
is not technically a rookie because he played a couple
of games last year. But Anthony Richardson. Before everybody freaks
out and goes, oh, I got to pick up Anthony
Richardson or not, I'm gonna start Anthony Richardson based on

(13:33):
his game that he had last week. Listen, let's pump
the brakes. This guy sat for a reason. Okay, you're
going to be in a roller coaster with Anthony Richardson.
We're on a high right now. Guess what, We're gonna
come right back down and they're playing Detroit, who is
the hottest team in football, and so I gotta imagine
Detroit's gonna come out hot. I don't think Anthony Richardson

(13:56):
is gonna have a good game. So I'm sitting Anthony Richardson. Yeah,
proved to me, dude, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
But also if I'm the Cults, my game plan is
going to be run the ball and keep Detroit's offensive imagined.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
You would imagine, you know, but he does part. He's
a big part of the running too. So you know,
I just don't I just don't foresee it running back.
Who's your start?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
I said it, Brian Robinson Jr. The Cowboys b robbed.
The Cowboys defense cannot stop the run. The secondary is
not terrible, but they cannot stop the run. I mean,
Joe Mixon had a career game yesterday. So I'm starting
Brian Robinson.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Yeah, my start this week. Again, we were talking about
it earlier. This is going to be a get right
game for the Chiefs. The Chiefs may put up a
fifty burger on on Carolina. I don't know, we'll see.
But I gotta imagine Kareem Hunt. You know, they want
him to score touchdowns, and so that's the main bulk
of it is that anytime they're going to get down
to the goal line, it's going to go to Kareem Hunt.
So I gotta imagine he's gonna score a couple of

(14:46):
touchdowns this week. So I like Kareem this week? Who's
your sit?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Cuba Hubbard? Well, no, Tua Cuba balled out against the Giants.
They're playing the Chiefs, not the Giants. I think I
think you're right. I think it's gonna be like a
massacre of a game.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
It could be my sit this week. Again.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
This Dallas team at this point, I think is done.
I think they've got They decided to sit against Washington. Sorry, Rico,
you are not no longer Swavee not bad wide receiver.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Who's your start?

Speaker 2 (15:17):
I'm the starting a lot of injuries, a lot of
guys on by. I'm going with George Pickens. He's good
for a couple of deep balls. Russell Wilson, he may
not be the Russell Wilson of old, but he still
throws some great defense games. They're playing the Browns, who
had a good defense, and that's kind of out the window.
Now look what the Saints did do him last week.
So I'm going with George Pickens.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
I don't know how much you've been paying attention to
the Seattle Seahawks, but Jackson Smith and Jigba is the
main guy there now. Yeah, I'm sorry, DK Still great, Uh,
Tyler Lockett's come down a little bit, but Jackson has
been phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
He was great coming out of college, had a rote
slow rookie year.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Really slow rookie year.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
But now at this point he's, you know, Smith's favorite target,
and he's getting a lot of balls throwing out.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
And he's catching a lot of them too. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
I don't know who what college is better for wide receivers,
Ohio State or LSU because they just pomp out wide
receivers like it's nobody's That's a good point.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Taking on Arizona this week. Seattle's coming off a big
win against the forty nine ers. I like Jackson Smith
this week? Who's your sit?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
A guy? I have to start because of Buys, I
have to start, But if I had the choice, I
would sit to Kobe Myers. They're playing the Broncos. He's
their best weapon on offense outside of Brockbawn, sorry, outside
of he's the best receiver on offense. Okay, but if
he goes up against Patricks or Tan, he ain't getting
any catches because that guy is walking down this year.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Yeah, my sit this week again? Uh my theme I
guess for my starts and sits are roller coaster. Yeah,
because this guy, again, you don't know what you're gonna
get out of him. Every week. One week it's high.
Next week he'll have no catches. Next week he'll you know,
like we were coming off of high. So again, I
gotta imagine a low for Christian Watson from the Packers,

(16:58):
Like this guy should be the number one guy there
in Green Bay.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Packers are a weird team.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
He has all the talent in the world, but then
the next week it'll be all Romeo Dobbs, then it'll
be Read and then what is going on? Where is Watson?
So you're taking on the forty nine ers. I think
the forty nine ers are gonna play angry. They're coming
off another really bad late loss, so I just think
they're gonna I think they're gonna actually win that game
against Green Bay, and I think Watson just doesn't do much.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Tight end who's your start?

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Tight Ends are always tough because they.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
There's like four guys that's it kind of consistency.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
So because of that, I'm gonna go with Will Disley again.
The Ravens have a bad secondary and it.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Wasn't even a receiving tight end until he got here
to La with Harbaugh. Yeah, and he's become kind of
a weapon down in that red zone.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
So I'm taking will Disley because a lot of tight
ends you need, especially if you can pick them up
to you know exactly, and a lot of tight ends
it's touchdown dependent. So like most tight ends will get
you five points, but you want and I think he's
got one of the best shots at getting a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
My my start this week is a guy that is
I think he's finally fully back from his injury. I
think they're gonna need to utilize t J. Howkinson. If
I'm the Vikings, I'm definitely looking his way against Chicago
and so you know, to me, Chicago's probably gonna try
and shut down Justin Jefferson, Jordan Madison.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
So I like t J. Hawkinson this week. Who's your sit?

Speaker 2 (18:21):
My sit is a guy. This is the only thing
the Giants do well on defense is stop tight ends.
I don't know why, but I don't think a tight
end score on him a touchdown on him all year.
So I would sit Kate Aughton because I know you're thinking, oh.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Baker is gonna go crazy.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I think he is.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
He's gonna throw everybody but the tight ends. But Kate, Okay,
that's wild. If I sit this week again is a
guy who is just so inconsistent. Again, he looks like
he should be all world. He's sometimes is sometimes not.
David and Joku this week I do not like against
the Steelers. I think the Browns are gonna be in

(18:58):
big trouble here with the Steelers. Steelers are red hot
as well. Yeah, so I just I don't like in
Joku this week. He's not gonna be Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
I mean, you get Jamis thrown for three ninety five
and a couple of touchdowns last week. This week he'll
throw for four yards and and still.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Lose, by the way, Yeah, and it's still lose double digits,
which is just unbelievable. So that Browns team terrible. That's
the way it goes, all right, there you go, that's
our starts and sits for the week. Hopefully you go
out there and get a win.
