Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh, Trader Thor is at it again. I've never met
anybody who loves making moves more than you. That's fantasy
like you are so but you are never content with
your team. You're always adding and dropping guys that you'll
never play. It's like one of the wilder things I've
ever seen.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I always because because injuries could happen in any moment.
So in my eyes, I'm always looking ahead. Like you're
focused on week nine right now, I'm focused on week
ten and eleven because I want to see because because
someone's gonna get hurt and I'm and I'm gonna need somebody.
You predict who's hurt you just you just never know.
So if a guy, if I see what I like
to do with my ads and drops is I like

(00:37):
to look at the wave wire and I see their
trends of the last three weeks.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
And if I see a guy who's gotten a lot.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Of targets last three weeks, I just hit them wow,
Because you never know.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I just sometimes look at these guys and I'm like, who,
I don't even know who that is. He's like the
pitch receiver on the Patriots, and I'm like what.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Tomorrio Douglas Best that my best.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah, they're the trade season is upon us and Thor
and I are getting offered trades. He even was considering
a crazy trade. It's all in this week's edition of
Fantasy Freaking Football. It's time to.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Review your fantasy teams, down.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Commissioners, It's time guy for Fantasy freaking football. Yeah. It's
very rare that you kind of get offered a fair
trade where both teams win and you're like, Okay, that
seems fair, you know whatever. Uh, it's always people trying
to get one over on you, you know, and you
just look at this trade and go, why would you
offer me that? I'm not stupid, you know, Like it

(01:37):
drives me nuts when I get those kind of offers,
like it's it's insulting, it's insulting. And so yeah, I
got one of those offers last week where this one
guy offered me JK. Dobbins and Garrett Wilson for Justin Jefferson.
I'm like, dude, I'm never gonna give you Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
J Dobbs had one game for two weeks. He was good.
I mean now he's back to being an average player.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Garrett Wilson is again almost below average at this point,
you know, So like why would I give you my
number one and the number one receiver in football? Like
why would I do that? Like you've got to give
me something to respect.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
That's like you got to give me, you know, Derrick Henry,
if you that's you know, but that's like the same level.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You know, it's crazy. And so yeah, well we'll be
seeing did you get You got offered a trade too?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I needed, so I was I've had so many injuries
in our one league and our in our big league
that me and Edie are in not our work league.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
I've had Milik.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Neighbors, Jonathan Taylor, Nico Collins, Dallas Goddard all get hurt, yes,
and it's just it's just brutal. So I wanted to
make a trade. I got Malik back, but Milik Neighbors
isn't playing great the last two weeks. And then I
saw that Too was coming back, and I saw that
somebody has Tyreek Hill, my buddy Jeff, so he's got

(02:53):
Tyreek Hill. He also he could use a running back.
So I'm like, if I package t Higgins who also
got hurt, that's five, that's six guys. Now right six
and tis here twice this year for me both in practice?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
What are you doing? Go to hard?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
And why are you going so hard? Man? It's it's
a Friday practice.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
A walking so uh so that happens. So I'm like, man,
I need some. So I offered him before the Friday practice.
I offered him T Higgins and Jonathan Taylor for Tyreek
Hill and Aaron Jones, and I time on I didn't
offer Yeah. I texted him a screenshot of maybe offering
you and I go, what do you think about this?

(03:32):
And he writes back send it and I'm like, whoa, whoa.
In my eyes, I'm.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I just her ways this poker face just he's in
the last Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I would have been like, oh, I don't know. Yeah,
because you said that to me and go, what do
you think of this? I said no, yeah, I wouldn't
do it if I were you going fort number one.
Jonathan Taylor is coming back and he's going to be
a monster again. I go, I get Tyreek Hill, but
you don't know that Dolphins offense, you know, to his
I mean a feather could hit.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Him and give me done.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
You know, and T Higgins is good. Again, this was
before he got before heard, so I said, I think
your team is good. Why that's why I was like,
stand past.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
So you said that.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
And then on top of that, me and my wife
were out that night with a couple of friends. And
then the next day I just didn't have time to
look a fantasy at all. So then it was Thursday,
so I'm like, well, I can't have this for this
week anyway, screw it. And then my buddy texted me
all pissed that I tried to dodge him, like what
are you talking about.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
I just been busy. Yeah, I just been busy. So
he was mad at me.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
So different deal, right, So I didn't make the trade.
And then he texted me yesterday and he goes, you
missed out.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
It's a hot chicken, like yeah, and he and.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
So he's mad at me because I thought he made
a bad trade. But he traded Tyreek Hill for and
Aaron Jones and I said, dude, you could have gotten
more with Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
And he told me that.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'm an idiot, and I just and I just I'm
annoyed at the person he traded with, which I kind
of am.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Well, but it's kind of like too bes for an
a for an a, you know. So, I mean, I
guess it depends what you need and things like that.
I get he's a tough one.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Now.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Listen, Aaron Jones went off yesterday or a Sunday, So
it looks better now than Aaron Jones went off. But
that being said, if I knew that he's given up
Tyreek Hill, if I'm him, I put that on the
message board, say hey, Tyreek Hill's up for grips, You're
gonna get somebody, in my eyes, who's gonna give you
a better offer, because people just want Tyreek Hill because

(05:27):
of the name.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Well, and and again, now the two is back, he
makes him way more value exactly. But but yeah, DeVante Adams,
I don't know. I still don't believe in the Jets,
and I just so I don't know. Man, that's a
tough one. I used to.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Play fantasy with by the who who's number one receiver,
who's number one running back? It doesn't matter the offense
they're on, And that just always bit me in the ass.
Now I play fantasy with I only want guys on
good offenses. If you're not on a good offense. You
could be the second wide receiver on that offense. But
if you're on a good offense, you're gonna score and
get the ball. You're gonna be in and at the

(05:59):
end because if you have if you have Chewba Hubbard,
Yeah that's great. But look what he's gonna do. Now
he's the only guy they have. He's gonna suck. Malik
Neighbors is kind of in the same situation right now.
So it's it's kind of like you you want guys
on good offenses and they Jets have a terrible offense.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Yeah, all right, let's get to your questions. You can
hit us up on X at the show four at
the show Eddie, you can email us your questions. We'll
try to answer them every week. This one says, got
some bye week issues. Who would you start in a
non PPR league between Jordan Addison or Keenan Allen?

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Oh Man, I mean Jordan Addison. I don't know if
you saw Eddie, he tweeted out free three.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Oh and he's number three. So that dude, you you're
justin Jettet's second year. It's your second year in the league.
What are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I totally agree. That was a little bit crazy to say.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Now they are playing the Colts, I think in our
starts and sits, I may have somebody that's a start
in Sam Darnold.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
But we'll see. Wait, wait you just said it. But
so Chicago taken on Arizona.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I actually would start Jeff Jordan Daisen here.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Well, if he's making noise, you know, usually what happens
after that is they start to feed you the ball
a little bit. But again, this this guy is the third,
if not fourth option in that offense. So like, let's
pump the brakes here. He may have a good game,
I'll give him that, but I don't know that he's
gonna be going off or anything. Yeah, you know, Keenan Allen,
he still doesn't look like he's quite there yet.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
And Caleb Williams is very up and down rookie. He's
very up and down.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Yes, very much so. But I do think maybe Jordan Addison,
maybe I'll give you a slight edge, not much. I
mean they're sort of both in the same realm for sure,
So we'll see.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Well, And also I find on my boy Ko Kevin O'Connell,
he'll feed the ball to Jordanison telling you, I'll let okay.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
This question says, I have Brock Purty on a by
which quarterback would you go with Sam Darnold this week
against the Colts or roll the dice with Derek Carr
coming back against the Panthers? Donald, you're big, big, Donald.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Listen, They've lost back to back games, but he hasn't
played awful. They just lost back to back games. The Colts,
Uh secondary is not great. I don't I don't think
their defense is that great. The type the Texans game
last week was close because Nico Collins completely changes that offense,
and we saw Stefan Diggs is now out with at
a c L.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
So I go, Donald, I get yeah, you know, I'm
not as quick to jump all over this astor is
where I think Carr coming back does help the Saints
quite a bit. Again, though you're not sure. I mean,
you know, he could go down at any top, any moment.
Panthers are got awful. They're the worst team in the league.
So if I, you know, I understand the question about

(08:42):
rolling the dice, I would probably play it safe and
go with Sam. Donald if it was between me, you
know those two, I just.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I don't know for sure if Derek Carr is gonna play,
and even if he does play, man the Saints have.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
A six straight.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
You gotta imagine, though, they're gonna get right again, and
you're sure they've been having Rattler in there, and you
know that's not gonna they could they could do the
other guy that random, but.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
This could be one of those games where Alvin Kamara
has six touchdown mass which we've seen, or it's a
touchdown runs.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I hope so because I haven't, then this question says,
not sure who to go with at my second running
back spot. I have Raheem Moster, Tony Pollard or Austin Eckler.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
This is funny. I have Raheem Mostert, and I didn't.
I started him last week, didn't start him this week.
He scored two touchdowns. He's back to being the touchdown
guy when to a place he's the touchdown guy.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Now you have Tony Pollard, which interests me because Tony
Pollard and the Colts are playing the Titans.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Why did I say the Colt Paller's are the Titans.
They're playing the Patriots, right, who can't really stop the run.
So that's kind of a toss up there because the
Titans could actually win that game. It's in Tennessee. I
could see them winning that game. I'd probably go with
Pollard just because he's gonna get more carries.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah, Eckler is sort of like a you know, second,
he's like a scap bash in you know who they
throw a couple of passes to a game. But he
hasn't really had like any kind of monster game, you know,
So he's not really in the in the mix.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
And the Giants defense isn't terrible. They're not I mean,
they're not that terrible. Yeah, the team stinks, but they're
not terrible really stinks.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
So between Mostard and Pollard, I probably go Pollard just
because he's the main option. It's there, you know, rather
than you know, a change.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
You're counting on most start getting a touchdown with Pollard,
you know, you're getting twenty eight yees.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
But I mean, he doesn't get in the end zone
that much. But at least he's gonna carry the ball
out and hopefully he'll break one. Things like that. All right,
let's get to our starts and sits for the week.
At quarterback, who do you like?

Speaker 2 (10:35):
You know I said it again, I've ruined the teas
you really did. I'm going with Sam Donald and Indy.
I think that the Vikings are due for a victory here.
They're not gonna lose three straight. Now, they did say that.
It just was announced Joe Flacco is starting for.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Indyes, so maybe the game will be a little closer
than I thought. But I'm going with Sam Donald.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Okay, I I got a guy who I hate this
team because I'm a forty nine er fan, but you
can see the difference when he has weapons. Matthew Stafford
for the Rams taking on Seattle. Seattle again, they were
that was that was such a flash in the pan.
You know, they are not very good.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
I can't believe they got beat down like that.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Yeah, I mean I am not impressed with Seattle at all.
And so the difference having Puka and Cooper cup back.
I think Matthew Stafford has another big game. So I
like Stafford this week. Who's your sit?

Speaker 2 (11:20):
My sit this week killed me because he's my starter
in my fantasy league.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
I'm talking about Kyler Murray.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Oh, Kyler Murray is going up against a good Bears
defense and they're at home.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
But Kyler is so up and down.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I mean, he did nothing most of the game that
they won on the last second field goal on Sunday
because Miami against Miami.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
But I mean, but he does just enough. So I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
I'm hoping i'd start him because he may break off
a sixty yard touchdown run, but I don't trust him today.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
This week, well, I'm gonna sit a guy who has
had a couple of good weeks in a row, and
he looks like he's coming around. But I just don't
like the matchup this week. Bonix. You know, I thought
Bo's played for you well for Denver. Yeah, he did
really well. You know, he rushes quite a bit, He'll
he'll score rushing touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
He's having a quiet, pretty good run now.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
But that being said, Baltimore is going to come out
playing angry, you know, with what happened to them in Cleveland.
There's no way that's gonna happen again. I think they're
gonna really beat down the Broncos this week, and I
think Bo is unfortunately going to pay for it. So
I like, I like Baltimore this week, and I think
bo Nicks is going to suffer. Running back who's your start.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Now, upset special? Oh here we I think the Jets
beat the Texans on Thursday.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Really I do that.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Being said, I still exist that important. Well, they don't
have Digs or Nico Collins.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Now. They're on the road. They're on the road. The Jets,
they're good, they're.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Just desperate for a victory. Uh, they're Jets seasons over.
But I think they get this victory. But all that
Texans have right now is Joe Mixon, who's playing out
of his mind.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Tink del Okay, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
But it's funny people talk about Saquon not be on
the Giants. How about the Bengals letting Joe Mixon go?
What a mistake that was? I mean, Joe Mixon, Joe
mix is playing out of his mind right now.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
I would be again. And it's sort of the same
thing with your Giants is if you get rid of
a pretty good player, you got to bring somebody in. Yeah,
I'm sorry, Devin Singletary wasn't the answer. Thankfully they have.
He was good, but again, you didn't know, you know,
and same thing you know when we go with Zach
mosson in Cincinnati, like what so? Yeah, I agree with

(13:27):
you there. My start this week is a guy who
again has been slow coming back, which is totally understandable,
but I think he's finally starting to get it going.
I'm talking about Nick Chubb. I like chubbed this week.
You're taking on the Chargers, who don't have a great
run defense. You know, Brown's feeling themselves a little bit.
I do think that Jamis may come down to the
earth a little bit, but the running game is what

(13:48):
they're going to rely on. So I like Nick Chubb
this week. Who's your sit?

Speaker 3 (13:52):
My sit I mentioned before Cuba Hubbard against the Saints.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Oh you really hating on Cuba.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I just think he's It sounds like they're going to
trade Deontay Johnson, And if they trade Deontay Johnson, they
have no one.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
I don't know if any.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Whose quarterbacking because Andy Dalton's not cleared yet, and if
you're gonna go on pricing.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Again, So I'm not starting Chew behover.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah, that'd be rough.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
That's just like I said, it's just such a bad team.
I don't want to start anybody on that.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Yeah. My sit this week is a guy I actually
kind of like. I don't have him in any of
my leagues, and I kind of wish I did, but
he's clearly emerging as the main guy in Tampa. But
Bucky Irving this week just has a really, really tough
matchup against Kansas City. Kansas City shuts everybody down, and
so I just I don't know what to expect out
of that game Monday Night against the Bucks. Could be

(14:39):
upset special. But again Baker, who I kind of thought
Baker was really gonna come down to earth. But he's
still had a decent game still through I think three touchdowns,
so not bad. But I think the running game is
gonna suffer this week, and so I don't like Bucky
Irving this week. Wide receiver, who's your start?

Speaker 2 (14:54):
No one benefited more from Amari Cooper going to the
Bills than my boy Khalil Shakir. He had one hundred
yards receiving on Sunday against the Texans. I think he's
gonna go off, boy, But I don't even have any
of my friends. I think he's gonna go off against
the Dolphins.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
I mean, Keon Coleman was the main.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Target go off against.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
All Right, write it down. My start this week is I,
you know, mention If Derek Carr is coming back, there's
one guy that is praying for that, and that's Chris Olave.
You know, they obviously don't have Rashid Shaheed for the
rest of the season. So a Lave who's coming back,
he played last week look pretty good, but again he
has no quarterback thrown to him. You're again you're taking

(15:36):
on the Panthers who are just atrocious. So if Carr
comes back, a Lave is gonna go off. Who's your
sin uh?

Speaker 3 (15:42):
This guy's having a bad year. Jalen Wattle.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Until I see Jalen Wattle perform, they're gonna be so
focused on finally having Tyreek Hill go off. I think
they're forgetting about Jayalen Wattle. Bills have a good defense.
It's at Buffalo, which check the temperature of that game. Hey,
so if it's cold outside, I'm not starting. I don't
want to start any Dolphins. Sol Jalen Why he's saying,
Julia Jaylen Waddle?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
All right, my sit this week is a guy who
again had a big week last week, but he was
he sort of came out of the gates hot, came
back down to Earth, had a big game. So I
think that's what you're gonna get. You just never know
what you're gonna get out of Darnell Mooney, you know
from Atlanta. You know, Kirk Cousins is proving that he's
a good quarterback. You know Drake London was came back

(16:26):
down to earth a little bit last week where Mooney
came back up. And so I think that's what you're
gonna get from week to week, where you're not sure
which guy is gonna go off. And so again cowboys
are reeling. Who knows what's gonna happen in this game
against the Falcons. I just I don't know. I don't
trust it. This week, tight end, who's your start?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
This is a guy where I said to you, I
look for trends, and I picked him up and I
started him here we go, and I started him with
Derek Derek with Drake May as his quarterback. He looks
for him and he had back to back we points
at tight end, which is very difficult nowadays. So I
went with Hunter Henry and I'm starting him again this.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Week against the Titan.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
May may not play. He may not play, may not play.
I think even if he doesn't, I'd still go with him.
But if he does lock in Hunter Henry double lock it.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Uh my start this week again. If you lost Nico Collins,
you lost Stefan Diggs, who else are you gonna throw
to but Dalton Schultz? So you gotta look for your
tight end going on. In all honesty, I'm gonna I'm like, well,
who else is he gonna throw to besides Tank Dell?
You gotta go to your tight end, Dalton Schultz. Caking on.
They're not gonna lose to the Jets. So I'm gonna
so I'm gonna take ult this week. Who's your sit?

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I know he's back and they just activated him. He's
gonna play this week.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
TJ.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Hawkinson. I want to see what he does. I want
to see what he does.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
You got people, a lot of people stashed him, so
they see that he's activated this week and they're gonna
start him. Be careful, but I want to see what
he does, how much he plays. I would if he
If he goes off, he goes off, what's the big deal. Yeah,
I gotta see what he does.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Yeah, my sit this week again. I I know everybody's
on the Jamis bandwagon right now thinking that, oh James,
he's gonna turn the Browns around. No, it's Jamis Winston.
He'll probably throw five interceptions this week, so David and Joku,
I don't know. I don't think it's going to be
a big week for him. I know you love Jamis,
but I do. I just don't.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
I love the posting pre and post game shows more
than pre post game speeches.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
They are pretty good. They are pretty good. So there
you go. Hopefully you go out there and get a
win this week.
