Well, it was a very interesting week two because Thorn
and I we're in two leagues together, and randomly enough,
we played each other in both leagues. How weird?

weird scheduling anomaly that we played each other in both
these weeks. But before we get to that, we're in
one separate league together. How'd you do in that league?

That's I'm in? I'm in three leagues, two of them
I like, I'm confident in my team, the third one,
I am just don't know, man, my team. Like, you
go to it and you go to you go to

look and you go, is my team that bad? I
got Baker Mayfield, Mike, Mike Evans, Neighbors, you have two bucks? Yeah,

he had he he was so he had like ninety
four yards rushing, he was avaging like seven yards of
carry and they just they just take him out for
two series. I don't understand that they did the same
thing to shoot somebody else. Johnathan Taylor on the Colts,
he had twelve carries for one hundred yards. He was
outing eight a carry, and then they just pulled him

for the last two drives and it wasn't hurt.

points than the person behind me. My team is pretty good. Yeah.
So I'm doing really well. And that's the league. In
the last two years I haven't made the playoffs. Wow.
So I'm like, please just have this, keep stay healthy,

please keep yourself all. Yeah. So I'm doing really well.
And like I in that league, I have James Cook
who had four tichdowns or whatever, three touchdowns and so
I had a really good week. I had Justin Jefferson
who had that you know, crazy catch. Uh. So yeah,
I'm doing pretty good in that league. And then uh
then we get to us playing each other now in
one league, Thor beat me. Yeah, and the other league,

Yeah, weird, weird.

It was weird because again we have kind of similar teams. Yeah,
but it is scored differently. It was PPR won a
standard It wouldn't have really mattered, but it was. It
was interesting how it played out. Well.

I won in our in our PPR league was because
I had Nico Collins and league neighbors. He's got like
thirty points. Why you won in the work lose because
Alvin Kamara had the greatest game.

Of all time I had. I have Kamara in that league,
and I scored four touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I was pumped. The Cowboys were losing. I can't stand
the Cowboys. But every time, O, my god, please don't
be Kamara.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
I'm like again, yeah, gee, he got me something like
forty some points. Yeah in a standard league that it
was a lot. Yeah, he saved. He saved my button
on that one for sure. Uh So I'll take a split.
That's a split.

You know. I'm still I'm oh and two in our
work league, but my team's not bad, so I'm not
I'm not losing sleepover.

See. That's how I feel about the other league, is
that I'm oh and two, but I have the most
points out of all the O and two teams and
the most points scored against me. So like the two
weeks in a row, I've played the guy with the
who's had the most points. So I beat most of
the league and so that is frustrating. So it's all
matchups that.

I play a guy in our league that I'm projected
to beat in our work league, and he's got Jamar,
Chase and Burrow and they're playing the Commanders. That's a
terrible matchup for me because they should light him up,
but I don't.

opinion on a trade I completed over the weekend in
my PPR league. I traded Tyreek Hill and Zach Sharbonay
for Mike Evans and Christian McCaffrey. Now definitely a risk,

but I feel I have depth to withstand it. While
McCaffrey is out. My running backs are Kamara, Brian Robinson Junior,
and Aaron Jones. My wide receivers are Evans, London Ridley
and Shaheed So what do you think I feel like
I'm doing Okay? Yeah, I love that deal. I love
that deal too.

The only thing that worries me is Aaron Jones. Ty
Chandler may bite in a lot of his carriers. To
Chandler had a good game yet last.

but who knows Walker may come back and play. So
because Charbonnet is not as good as Walker, I love

Austin Eckler, he had a big game yesterday last week
and he got eight points. Like Brian Robinson Junior is
the guy there. Devin Singletary seventh. Singletary is average in
five point one yards carry, which is more than Sakwon Bark.

They're terrible, but their offensive line is not bad. Their

Again if it's PPR, you know, he might not catch
these bombs that Shaheed is catching, but he's gonna come

I'm debating on playing a few guys this week. Singletary, Mooney,
Robinson or Coleman could be a sleeper.

Stunned, really stunt Well, yeah, the Browns have a great defense.
That's that's that's the thing is they have already have
a great defense, and you're playing a terrible offense and
it's in Cleve. So I'm taking the Browns. I understand
the rationale about playing the Seahawks because again Skyler Thompson,
I don't know, but they have enough weapons there where
they could score here and there, and I don't know.

And the Seahawks defense isn't this phenomenal defense. This is
usually when a new quarterback starts, might hype him up
a little bit. And you have a new quarterback starts, listen,
scart Thompson stinks. I get it. But maybe for a
quarter he's able to score a surprise you with a
couple of points and not be a complete turn.

You could you know, hit like Tyreek kill on a
crossing route and he takes it in for a touchdown. Yeah,
that's the kind of you know offense that they run there.
So again I don't know that they're going to rely

Patrick Mahomes, Yeah, he played terrible last week. Whatever they got.
Lucky that the receivers love the referees, love the Chiefs.
I'm going with Kyler Murray against the Lions. I mean
Murray in two games against the Bills and against the Rams,
He's played really well. They should have won that first game.

last week. I really expected a lot more out of

Well, and that's the other thing is that the Bears
they're going to rely on their defense. I mean, clearly
their offense is quite a few steps behind, and so
defensively they still look really good. And so I think
they're gonna cause some problems for Richard.

If the Colts want a chance in this game. They
got to give the ball to Jonathan Again?

Is that because you have Jonathan Taylor a little bit? Okay,

This is surprising, but I watched Jonathan Taylor had twelve
carries for one hundred plus yards, and then the Packers
the week before got gashed by Saquon So I'm going
with Tony Pollard from the Titans. Tajy Spears is hurt.

be two and oh. Like the fact that they're own

the Cowboys are good. I know they didn't look so
great against the Saints, but this is a tough matchup.
I think they have to rely on Derek Henry and
I mean, I'm feeding that guy until he falls down.

Well and they I was watching some of that game
and I'm like, man, Derek Henry. At one point, it's
seven rushes for no yards, and I'm like, what is
going on? And then I saw him break a couple
of runs and he still has the Derrick Henry stiff arm.
He could still run somebody. You just gotta feed him.

This week? This team's two to zero and they haven't
scored a touchdown yet. Naj Harris on the Steelers, You're
playing a Charger team that I think is legit because
Jim Harball. I think that the Chargers are going to
the playoffs this year, and I don't think they're going
to super Boy did they're going to the playoffs. I
think the Steelers are gonna get awakening when they lose
at home to the Chargers.

I have seen on the waiver wire what everybody's doing.
You see an injury, I gotta pick a gup. I

wide receiver against the Jaguars.

Listen, there's a ton of wide receiver injuries. So I
went with a guy that maybe be on your waiver wire,
maybe he's on your bench because there's so many wide receivers.
Plays with the Bills. Oh yeah, they're playing the Jaguars
who let Deshaun Watson throw on them and he's terrible.
So I think Shakir, if he can get you ten
to fifteen points, I think that's gonna be a win.
With all the injuries across the league.

I'm gonna go with a guy who's had a little
bit of a slow start. We know why he's had
a slow start because he held out. I think he
has to have a big game. I'm talking about Brandon au.

I sit this week is a guy who's everyone loves
and is a great receiver, but he's not had a
great start to the year because the offense he's in
isn't great. I'm talking about Terry mclaurin's he's playing at
since he's at Cincinnati, who just did a really good
job shutting down the Chiefs, and I think it's gonna
be tough for him to get the ball that A
lot of the jayde Daniels passes last week were like

wide receiver screens, dump offs, that's all he was throwing.

Yeah. Uh, I'm not a Terry mclaarin fan at all.

the tenth round and he's still on the board, I'm
not taking him because I get I fall for it
every year. So I mean, I remember, I took somebody
and goes, dude, didn't ta McLaurin, I go get the

hell out of here. I'm not taking them and won't
do it. My sit this week is Jalen Waddle. I
do think Tyreek Hill is gonna probably be okay. I'm
worried obviously as a whole for that Miami Dolphins offense.
You can hear we're not big Sky of Thompson fans now.
So I think Jalen Waddle may be the guy that
suffers this week because of that. All right, tight end?

Again? This is a there's a lot of injuries and
there's no tight ends. Like, there's no tight ends. So
if you're on the waiver wire and you're like, oh
my god, do I go Hayden Hurst, which I stupidly
did last week because Evan Ingram gets hurt. I'm watching
Fox NFL Live or NFL Sunday, and all of a
sudden they go Evan Ingram out with a hamstring. I
was like warm up in warm up, So I'm like,
I don't know what to do. So I just picked

up I picked up Haydon Hurst because I'm like, he
got one catch. So I looked around the waiver wires
this morning. I Mike Aseki is Bury boom or bust.
He may not do anything against the Commanders, but he
did have nine catches last week against the Chiefs. Higgins
doesn't play. He's the second leading receiver on the team,
next to Jamar Chase. I'm gonna start Micah Sickie.

He's great. Yeah, and they're playing the Panthers and so again,
if you got to look at the confidence that the
Raiders got off that win, brock Bowers is a key
part of that offense. I like Brock a lot this
week against Carolina, who's your sick.

You know, I wanted to go with Travis Kelce, but
I'm not I'm not there yet.

a little hoping for some lightning in the bottle last week,
didn't really get it. I have Jake Ferguson in all
my leagues and so he's hurt, so I have him
relying on my backup tight ends, which stink. So I

maybe he'll get some rushing yards, maybe he'll get some

then we get to us playing each other now in
one league, Thor beat me. Yeah, and the other league,

Wow, my sit this week is a guy I was
a little hoping for some lightning in the bottle last week,
didn't really get it. I have Jake Ferguson in all
my leagues and so he's hurt, so I have him
relying on my backup tight ends, which stink. So I
have Taysom Hill and Taysom Hill. You kind of hope
maybe he'll get some rushing yards, maybe he'll get some

passing yards, maybe receiving nothing nothing. I got nothing from
him last week. Think he got me like four points total.
So you know, you got this unbelievable Saints offense. Well,
they're not using Taysom Hill clearly, and so I guess
part of it is they haven't really needed to.

Also, Taysom Hill thirty four getting up there, didn't realize that.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Yeah, and he's also banged up. So the fact that
he's banged up and they haven't really used him, and
you got to imagine the Eagles are going to be
probably pretty angry with what happened in their game last week.
I think that there, you know, may show up a
little bit differently against the Saints. So we'll see what
happens there. There we go. Luckily we're not playing each
other this week. We can, you know, kind of root
for each other. Not really, but hopefully you'll go out

there and get a win.
