point this past week was one ninety four six points.

scores were t Higgins at twelve and Kyler Murray at nine. Dang,
And I imagine.

it too. I scored, which is standard non PPR. I
scored one twenty one, which is a lot, and I
got zero from Marche Rice because he got hurt. So
I just had a crazy week. But now I'm getting
the injury bug just like everybody else. Well, so mar
she Rice, we don't even know. I mean, is he heard?

He's a concussion protocol. I just saw today. He's not practicing,
which you knew, but they say early stages, So what
does that mean? Is he gonna be able to play Sunday?
You hope if he doesn't practice Friday, he's not playing Sunday.

And then I have Jonathan Taylor who spraying his ankle
and I watched the play happen and he was going
up the middle and he stopped to hope that a
guy cut in front of him, and the guy didn't,
and then he fell backwards, and I remember thinking, why
didn't he just runch forward? And then he got up,
so he was thinking, oh, okay, and then he didn't
come back in the game, and You're just like, son
of a bitch. So yeah, it's kind of It's very frustrating,

but everybody has injuries, so I can't complain that much.

You know. Well, you know, I've been sitting here treading
water in our work league because I had the number
one pick, and I knew this was gonna happen. I
think I was telling everybody this was gonna happen, you know,
because the forty nine ers are my favorite team. Who's
obviously the number one pick. It was Christian McCaffrey. I
knew it this as soon as I made the pick.
I go, you watch, he's gonna get hurt. It's just
it's my luck, you know that. I I've never had

the number one pick before. Of course it's a guy
on my team, you know, my favorite team, so it's
kind of excited to finally have him. And then he's
never played.

Yeah, I would say the top three backs taken were,
I mean, Bree Hall, Christian McCaffrey, and Bejean, and they've
all been disappointed. Christian hasn't played, Breese has been atrocious,
and I don't know, he's like average, I don't get it.
So it's it's it's if you were a top three pick,
you're kind of screwed right now.

Not only that, but then in most leagues, Tyreek kill
and well he's not he's not out, but he has
no quarterbacks QUARTERBA and so he's getting no points. It's awful,
and so yeah, it's tough. So I in that league,
I have McCaffrey and I have Cooper Cupp, who were
my two top guys really and they're both out, cuffs out.
So I'm literally just tread and water, hoping for the best.

And you know, I'm I think I'm two and two
in that league or something like that, and so I'll
take it and if I can get some of these
guys back, and then I'll be fine. In my OG league,
I'm four and oh and I'm just destroying everybody, so
that's been fun. And then in our other league, I
think I'm two and two as well. But that league,
it was brutal for me because I took on you,

I think in one week where you had the most points,
and so I would have beat probably the league. And
then the first week I took on the guy who
had the most points. So it was just bad time
and bad luck. But I feel really good about my team.
In the last two weeks, I've done really well, So
hanging in there.

In there and in me I'm in in our league
that we're in with my buddies, I'm three and one,
most points in the league by like one hundred and fifty.
That's crazy, So it's nice to have that cushion, obviously,
especially last year i started oher and five, and then
in our work league, I'm in fourth two and two.
I got I got like first or second most points,
so I'm set okay for that. But then in this
fun league I did with my buddy Jeff, who's our

biggest listener. By the way, I'm in his league with
his father in law, his mother in law, his wife family. Yeah,
buddy Dog who doesn't really know football, you know, Louie
who's a hardcore gambler. And I'm in tenth place at
oh to four, Oh right, and my team's not that bad.

I don't get it. I scored, I lost by less
than a point this past week, and the person I'd
beat scored the most points of the week, I scored
the second most points. So it was one of those
things where I'm just like the son of a So
I don't know. Hopefully I can get a win this week.

to see bye weeks. Bye week. It is the first
week with bye weeks, so I've had to make a
few different moves with Like I have the Eagles kicker
Jake Elliott, so I had to pick up a kicker.
I hated my defenses this week. You know, I have
pretty good defenses, like the Steelers, but I mean Steelers

taking on the Cowboys. I didn't like that matchup, so
I kind of went all in on the Patriots. Now,
the Patriots scare me because they're not a good football team.
No defense is good though, and they're playing Miami, who
can't I mean you look at that. I mean, I
don't know what Miami is gonna do. To be honest
with you, I mean they're they're in big, big time. Yeah,
their season is over. Yeah, I mean unless Tua, you know,

can somehow get cleared, and I don't know what they're
gonna do.

Yeah, I don't get how. I don't understand a how
there's so little backup quarterbacks in the league and be
how a team like Miami has a guy like Tua
who's got concussions prone doesn't have a better backup quarterback option. Yeah,
like they should have gave more money to a guy
like Tyrod Taylor.

understand what's going on with Ryan Tannehill. He's still out
there unless he's like literally I don't want to play

I'm not sorry Juwan Jennings just because Rashid's Shaheed is
at Kansas City and even though Kansas City's offense isn't great,
their defense is still pretty good. So I would start
Juwan Jennings.

Yeah, it's it's hard because you look at Juwan Jennings
and he's brilliant the number three there. Yeah, he's elevated
to uh but but Deebo's back. Yeah, you know, I
don't know what's going on with Brandon Ayuk. Yes, I do.
Shouldn't have held out, and so I mean he's still
not up to speed.

He's just not happening. And so Jennings is getting a
ton of time and he's getting a lot of you know,
looks and things like that. He was again their leading

I I would probably give a slight edge to Jennings,
not a ton, but just a slight and think that

that game was in New Orleans, I think the Saints
win by big. I don't think the Chiefs could score.

Xavier Worthy caught two passes, the big touchdown and then

I think if they win that game, it's going to
be passing the ball because they like the Blitz. So
Rogers is gonna picked them apart. What happened to Breese Hall,

Obviously mixed in if he plays, yes, if Mixon doesn't play,
I'm not with with Downs. It depends on whose quarterback.
Did you see when Joe Flacco came in, Michael Pittman,
Josh Downs, They got the ball and they were getting
past this. Anthony richards is great, he's not accurate. So
if Anthony Richardson plays, I'm gonna ease up on. I
don't know if I'm gonna start Josh Downs and I'm

gonna stick with Brandon ay Even though I said to
start Juan Jennings, I'd still take a chance with Brandon
and Ayuk.

I've seen in a lot of maneuvers and leagues that
Kareem Hunt is the big pick up this week. Everybody thinks,
you know, oh he's back, here we go and I
might hole pump the brakes.

I don't know that Kareem Hunt is back. I don't
even know if he's the future guy there no, so like,
let's calm down, and I loved it. I'm playing him

in on Josh Downs completely agree Joe Mixing your start
if he plays. If not, I would still probably believe
Ayuk in there. At some point he's gonna get it together.

Jones right now, with Romandre Stevenson in my flex. I
have Mike Evans on the bench right now. Should I

end in the league? He body wise, talent wise, he
should be a study.

away a Lavvy to get Pollard? He says, I like
my otherwide receivers. I have Chase mclauren, Addison Flowers, my
running backs, I need a little bit more consistency. I
have Jacobs, Williams, Ford and Harris. So what do you
think of a lave to get Pollard?

I wouldn't do it a lave. I know he's have
a slow start right now, but he's still a top
five receiver.

Is not bad. I mean he's not.

And not for Pollard, Like I just okay, you don't

You need consistency, Pollard is well, that's not your answer.

I don't think this guy's a great quarterback, but I
think he's gonna have a monster game. And it's Justin
Fields against the Cowboys. The Cowboys defense seeing that a
lot he Fields had thirty three points last week. Cowboys
defense is ravaged by injuries, the fact that Giants didn't
beat them as pathetic. No, Micah, No, DeMarcus Lawrence. I mean,
Justin Field is going to run all over him.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
It's a good call. My start this week is my man,
Brock Purty. You looked at Arizona last week and Jaydon
Daniels just tore him on partner and so you know,
I gotta imagine with a better offense which San Francisco has.
I think that Brock Perdy is actually going to have
a very very good game against Arizona. He's my start.

Ah Eddie Patrick Mahomes is my sit this week.

I'm not even gonna bother responding because guess who Patrick
freaking Mahomes.

and they're winning because of their defense right now. That's

Patrick Mahomes, right, So I'd still take Patrick Mahomes tomorrow.

I go, you watch, he's gonna get hurt. It's just

kind of excited to finally have him. And then he's

all been disappointed. Christian hasn't played, Breese has been atrocious,
and I don't know, he's like average, I don't get it.

you're kind of screwed right now.

Not only that, but then in most leagues, Tyreek kill
and well he's not he's not out, but he has
no quarterbacks QUARTERBA and so he's getting no points. It's awful,

I have McCaffrey and I have Cooper Cupp, who were
my two top guys really and they're both out, cuffs out.
So I'm literally just tread and water, hoping for the best.

take it and if I can get some of these
guys back, and then I'll be fine. In my OG league,
I'm four and oh and I'm just destroying everybody, so
that's been fun. And then in our other league, I

it was brutal for me because I took on you,

and so I would have beat probably the league. And
then the first week I took on the guy who
had the most points. So it was just bad time
and bad luck. But I feel really good about my team.

the week. At quarterback, who's your start?
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I don't think this guy's a great quarterback, but I
think he's gonna have a monster game. And it's Justin
Fields against the Cowboys. The Cowboys defense seeing that a
lot he Fields had thirty three points last week. Cowboys
defense is ravaged by injuries, the fact that Giants didn't
beat them as pathetic. No, Micah, No, DeMarcus Lawrence. I mean,
Justin Field is going to run all over him.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
It's a good call. My start this week is my man,
Brock Purty. You looked at Arizona last week and Jaydon
Daniels just tore him on partner and so you know,
I gotta imagine with a better offense which San Francisco has.
I think that Brock Perdy is actually going to have
a very very good game against Arizona. He's my start.
Who's your sit?
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Ah Eddie Patrick Mahomes is my sit this week.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I'm not even gonna bother responding because guess who Patrick
freaking Mahomes.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
I mean, look at his numbers, they're atrocious.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
What do you do?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
He's got six touchdowns, five picks he's got, he's got
a terrible completion percentage. He hasn't thrown for the round
the yards once this year.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
No, he granted he doesn't have any weapons, but that's
their own doing.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
That's their own doing.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
And he used to be able to overcome that. But
when you're tight end, who was your go to guy
is kind of washed? You know, I don't know what
to do now you don't have your number one wide receiver.
It's a crazy thing to say, damn to say you
have to look at other options.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
And honestly, he hasn't been a good quarterback this year. Yes,
is he the best player in the NFL? Yes, but
he hasn't been a good quarterback. Can can can he?
In two weeks? Can we sit here and say, man,
we were wrong by Mahomes? Of course?
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Well, I'm not saying he's washed for good, No, no, no,
of course, but I don't like the matchup this weekend.
He hasn't shown me any reason to be like Patrick
Mahomes a stud fantasy quarterback.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yeah, I don't like the matchup this week and Mahome
and they're winning because of their defense right now. That's
how they're winning these games. And they're making they're not
making mistakes, and he still make clutch plays because he's
Patrick Mahomes, right, So I'd still take Patrick Mahomes tomorrow.
He's just not in a great situation right now.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
If you give me one quarterback to win a game
for me, I'm taking Patrick Mahomes. But that being said,
I don't love the matchup this week. And you know,
are you happy with one hundred and seventy three yards
and just a touchdown? Like I'm not. I need better? Yeah,
And so that's.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Tough because in no world would I ever want Justin
Fields or Patrick Mahomes, but is this week?
Speaker 1 (18:25):
But this is fantasy. Yeah, one hundred percent. I actually

have him pick. They're not gonna go oh in seventeen.
I'm talking about the Jaguars. I'm talking about Traves etn.

What is what's going on? So I don't know if
you watched the game last week. Yeah, at one point
he was out of the game, just standing there, and
the commentators were like, this is so strange because normally,
if you're a back who's the star, you're kind of
by the offensive coordinator and you're waiting to come back in.
And he was off by himself.

I'm like, that's a bad sign.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Something's going on there. He's still good. I'm sorry. He's
better than Tank Bigsby, even though Tank Pisis had more yards. Uh,
he does well against the Colts. I think the Jaguars
win this game and get out off the the get
the zero off the board. I think this is the game.
If he doesn't play well in this game, then you
may be done with Travis at.

My start this week. So this is good news bad
news for you. It's good news because you have him,
bad news because he's going against your team. Kenneth Walkers,
Kenneth Walker's back, holy smokes, So he's gonna have them.
He showed some pop in that game on Monday night
and I was like, okay, okay, boy, and what do
you have? Three touchdown?
Speaker 2 (19:36):

Speaker 1 (19:37):
So I mean, listen, they're gonna feed him the Rock
and Giants have a porous run.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Yes, which is if the Giants don't have my league neighbors.
I don't even know if I can watch the game,

Who's your My sit is Rashid White from the Bucks
at Atlanta on Thursday. I don't even know if he's
a starter anymore.

I happened, I would say he was gonna be like the.

Guy I would lean more towards Bucky Irving him. But honestly,
unless you have to put Bucky Irving in, I wouldn't
touch either of him until we know I agree.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
So, yeah, my sit this week, I'm sitting pretty much
every dolphin. Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry, Like if I
have Tyreek Hill, it's kind of hard to sit him
because he's Tyreek Hill. But like look at Jalen Waddell's
numbers not great? Devon a Chan is my sit? Like
I don't again, you want to talk about a guy
who I thought big things from this year, He's like,

who's what Walker or somebody I don't even know? Like,
I'm like, what is going on?

And so I don't understand what they're doing, how they're
using him. But you're again, you're taking on a pretty
good Patriots defense. So I don't like a chance at all.

My start this week? As a guy we talked about
earlier when it because of the Jets. I'm gonna give
Garrett Wilson one more chance.
Speaker 1 (20:46):

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Garrett Wilson came out on the radio on the radio
show and complained about the offense. He's not happy Rogers
has to get him the ball.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Rogers usually responds, well, I.

Know Rogers will get him the ball. The Vikings are
a blitz heavy team. You don't want to blitz Aaron Rodgers.

is gonna win some games this year.

Andy Dalton's definitely helped that offensive.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Oh yeah. Well, and Deontay Johnson should have had about
another one or two touchdowns, like seventy more yards, but
he drops the ball so much. But but but yeah,
I don't. I just don't see Deontay Johnson have a
big game.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Yeah, my sit this week again. I am so confused.
I can't figure out the Atlanta Falcons. Are they good,
are they bad? Is Kirk Cousins helping that offense? Or
are they just getting lucky? I can't figure them out.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I was surprised they beat the Saints.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Yeah, well again it was a last second field goal,
dumb mistakes by the Saints, things like that. But it's
not like Drake London is lighting it up.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Another guy like a Garrett Wilson. But at least Gary
Wilson had But at least Gary Wilson had done something.
Rick London never done anything. Yeah, I think we're annointing him.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
I don't get it. Again. And he's got great size,
he's got, you know, all the talent in the world.

are going to see a nice week out of Dalton Kincaid.

You know, you watch that Buffalo offense and they're outstanding,
and Josh Allen can make crazy throws. Uh, but you
know you got to start incorporating these two tight ends
that they have. Caid has really done nothing, and so

Mark Andrews? I mean, I don't even I would cut
him at this point.

ball that offense. I watched that first game against the Chiefs,
and I remember in the second game too, I remember
being like, they got Derrick Henry. Run the freaking ball
with Derrick Henry, and then they finally did against the
Cowboys and they finally did it again. That offense should
be three guys of four guys, Lamar Jackson, Dereck Henry,

Zay Flowers, and Justice Hill. That should be the offense.

And maybe they add on to Vante Adams at one
point because that would be a good trade for isaa likely?

little bit of the first game.

I mean I'm looking at the whole the Commander is
taking on the Browns this week. Brown's got to figure
this out. I mean, they're too good of a roster
to look like they do, and I just don't understand mistakes.

I mean they on the offensive side, they had a
ton of drop passes last week, They're giving up twenty yards.

On defense, they hit an eighty yard touchdown to Mari Cooper.
What hapay? And I mean I was like, I was
jumping up and down. I'm like, this is gonna win
me the game. And then it gets called back and
so things like that. It's just gonna destroy you. So
Cleveland's got to come out big. I think they're the Commanders,
you know, like before, I'm you know a lot of
people are really high on right now, really high on

Jane Daniels. Let's pump the brakes a little bit. Let's
recognize Jane Downiels is an absolute stud. But he is
also a rookie and he's gonna be taking on Miles
Garrett things like that. He's gonna there's gonna be a
lot of pressure on them. So I think Earth's.

I think the wins against the command two of the
Commanders wins outside of the Bengal win. Let's look at
who they are. I think that says more about them.

be better and they aren't.
