But san Diego is becoming a comedy scene.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Is a lot of clubs. Yeah, it's great, a lot
of comedy.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I love that. That's that's huge for us.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
We were just talking on the way in, like this
is you're so close to l A, but you're not
so the talent that you're getting down here.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah sick, Yes, well.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
This is weekend for comedy. Man, Well why a big
jays in town? Who cares about them?

Speaker 5 (01:47):
I've seen I've seen all three of those guys live
because I try to go to a lot of shows.
And I'm not just saying it because you're in here.
Bre's by far and away the funniest. And I mean
that I saw my parents and he killed it. I did,
and because my parents are New Yorkers and they loved
Brett and he killed it.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I think he just likes the free ticket. It's a cheap, cheap.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Initially that maybe why he went, but I was like, whoa,
it was a great show. It was a great show. Yeah,
you're you're, you're you're live. Palky can hear so? Bra.
We were just talking kind of off the air that
you just got in from Vegas and uh, you went

(02:33):
on a little bit of a heater and nice little bender.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I took my free play so I had a show
Wednesday night, at Kimmel's and then where's that at that's
in the link. Okay, I'm there every there every week. Yeah,
I do every I do every Sunday with Butcher Bradley
and then they give me a week there.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I'm there basically every week. That's great.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
So yeah, so you know in the casinos, they give
you your free play. Yeah, so at midnight, midnight, Yeah,
I was done at eleven forty five, got to casino
twelve ten, check the free play was there. So from
twelve till six in the morning, No, I battled. Oh,

(03:21):
and there was twice I was up big money, but
then not that big but enough. But then I'm such
a psycho that yeah, yes, let's go, let's go dub, you.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Know, because this one's going to be it.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
No, now, what's the initial free play? Like twenty five busy?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
I don't know how this works.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
And you've been playing. Yeah, yeah, the.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
More you played, the bigger your free play. But what
happened I'm not kidding.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
I ended up walking oh all right, wait with twenty dollars.
Oh I was up twenty so for me six Yeah,
but there's a good time.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
But that's a good time.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
I mean, it's not a good time. You got to
get on a plane even though you're done. Yeah, flight up.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I mean, but there's twice I should have walked.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
And that's Thatam I get that? That's what do you mean?

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Well, once you're up and you're like, well, I'm feeling it. Yeah,
you're feeling it. My numbers are always going to hit.
It's but now I'm killing it right now. Hot machines hot.
How can I leave this?

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Well, well, what happened?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Then I'll go to the blackjack table to the high limit. Yeah,
just go away. Then, well, I like, I know some
people like when there's other people. I like when it's
just me and I.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Hate other people.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Sorry, especially when you get the person.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Crazy for the person that likes to talk too much
to the dealer. Let's play.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, yeah, well thank you. I had a girl, I
got it.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
I just was playing recently where she would get up
and dance every time she would win, and then make
sure to give a high five to every person at
the table, and I'm like, no, not doing it.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
That's why I don't gamble.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I'm glad.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
I'm glad, but if everybody's annoyed, it me because I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
What if you were at it, if you don't know
what you're doing now. Craps is another favorite game of mine.
But if I if I see a table of like
all dudes, I'm not going Whenever there's women at the table, yeah,
it's just more fun. Yeah, they're always it's like collosion

(05:35):
on when he was little.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Everyone bros. Seven no its.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
It's good energy.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
But it's three in the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah, oh yeah, and you see that who you're gambling with.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
The worst for me is, you know, if I went
to bed early and I get up early to go
play the dregs of the earth that are still like
coming in in the night before.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, what happened to you? Dude?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
In some of those casinos, it's like the Star Wars Cantina.
Oh yeah, where it's like, oh yeah, people, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
What is happening?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
The ride of groups of people that don't look like
they would ever be in a room again.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
One hundred one hundred percent. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
I was at one point in my life before I
was married, offered a job in Vegas and I said, no,
I can't take it. I don't think I could live
there because I don't I don't think I would survive,
especially back then because that then I was partying. I
love to gamble. I don't think I could do it.
I don't know how you do it. Well, I don't drink.
I haven't had a drink. And it's so funny you
tell people, you know, I haven't had a drink in

(06:46):
like two years.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah, everybody's like, oh, congratulations, Like it's like, no, I
just don't.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
But when I was, when I was pounding them and
playing right, you know, trouble that could be trouble.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, yeah, you know, I'm making great decisions.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
But then when you're playing like that and not drinking,
is it as far that's a problem.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
And then it's what's scary is that gambling? Is you ready?
I read?

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I read this is more addictive than meth?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Is that right?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
It wouldn't surprise me. It's so hard. I have a
couple of buddies.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Were, Yeah, I have to temper myself. I we I weeded.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
I'm weeding myself down because I'm up. I'm up, I
can stay up good.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Yeah, so I'm guy and her husband in the midst
of it right now, they got they tried their lottery
Scratcher channel where they were buying, like they're.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Buying, like, what, what's your problem? What's your problem?

Speaker 5 (07:39):
They did, but they did their own lottery scratch. They
would buy like scratch of books. I've seen that, and
they would scratch. And then she had like a she
kept she kept spreadshot.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
That's where I went wrong.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
And that showed me my my wins and my losses.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
But here's the thing, though, if you're winning, you got
to write it off, right, So it's it's the gambling.
It's like, I think twenty six percent of winning, you
gotta pay.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, but they weren't winning. They were.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
Yeah, we eventually kind of broke even between the YouTube
money and but we were scratching like one hundred bucks
a day, seven days a week. We were doing a
video every single day. Brot, it got crazy.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
That's only seven hundred a week. Yeah, but I seven
grand oh but still still but they're buying. They're not
buying the dollar scratchers. Yeah, they're buying like ten fifty
hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
If I can watch somebody scratch, it's like your grandmother
having a Reader's Digest sweepstakes.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Oh yeah, because we only.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
Would show the ticket in our hand. It's not like
we're showing cool stuff. Yeah so face yeah, no face.
And I refused to do my nails too, which was
a big hubbub on the Scratcher channel.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Bratt it got.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
There's like a whole community, I know, like of like
they would like her husband would like talk to other people.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Scratch on the scratch of people. Oh yeah, like the
whole community.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Of like as a little culture scratch group. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Go see Brett performing at the National Lampoon Yellow Door
in the Gas Lamp show tonight a show tomorrow night
now bre pm, eight pm Friday.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
It's like a perfect time. Yeah, give me one show
on a Friday. Yeah, I like this. I like this
a lot because they'll bring it. One show. You're bringing
all the goods and you know the the late show.
Two shows on Friday.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
You know, Friday late shows notorious in comedy for being awful.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Really, because you've already performed, you're tired. No, it's the crowds.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Oh really, It's a famous Steve Martin quote when they
asked him why he quit stand up, he said, Friday
late shows. Really, that's crazy crowds. They're tired, they're it's
just an odd vibe. Yeah, Saturday's early shows are usually
the best Fridays. People are just usually going right from

(09:52):
work to the to the if it's like too early, yeah,
so eight is to me, one show Friday at eight
is perfect.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Nice job. So so.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Brett, I got to talk to you a little bit
about Cobra Kai because series wrapped up unbelievable. I watched
the whole thing. It was fantastic. Brett, big big part
in the in the show where we.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Got weeded out listened.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
I didn't want to bring it up, but it was
kind of pissed. I'm looking. I'm looking for a spinoff.
Hopefully that will happen. They cut out of go ahead, Really,
there's going to be more of you. They cut out
a big scene. Oh no, are they doing It's next?
It'll live on, It'll live online. Okay, So Dan, you know, uh,
I don't know the characters names. What I mean, you're

(10:38):
on the Showel Daniel LaRusso.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
You yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:49):
So he proposes to uh the girl rap started Julia.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Okay, what's her name on the show? She plays my sister? Yeah,
you don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Did you have this problem on set?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
This might be what I mean?

Speaker 3 (11:04):
You don't really call them, you know by name, right,
I just did a Cobra Kai convention.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
No, it was the first ever. Yeah, it was called
Salute the Cobra Kai was in New Jersey? Was it
all things Kronate kidd or just wow? And it was, uh,
it was their first one. So they only and they
brought you in and a bunch of the podcast way. Yeah, yeah,
that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
It's great and you know, I love But some of
these people comment.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Like, you know, this show is not real.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
They call you your character's name, asked you stupid questions
like what I'm like, you're fifty man, do.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
You really work on a dealership?

Speaker 6 (11:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Well, they just like I get you know, if they're
having a favorite, we're just asking like, you know, so
how'd you get the role? Like stuff that would make
sense when you're talking about you know, rival dealerships show
I don't even.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Know because you don't know, I don't know the names.
Do you just go, oh yeah for sure? Did tell them.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
You kill the dream?

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, you need to placate them.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
They need to hear this, like what kind of cars
is the dealership?

Speaker 2 (12:23):
So it sells like I need to know that.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
I don't know that they ever sell evs.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Thank you for knowing that. Thank you for knowing that.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Well because we were in a redone dealership that they
were shooting in Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Okay, wild.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
So my question, I guess is now that the series
is done, what what are the overall feelings like we
felt good being part of that, like of course one
more that.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Was just lightning in a bottom.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Yeah, you know, it's a very It's one of those
shows that everybody watched so that I loved it.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
I loved that. Now I'm out of work.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Well, no, I haven't seen Legends yet. Legends yet because
I know it's it's all intertwined.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Did you get No?

Speaker 1 (13:07):
No, damn, That's why I'm not going to see it.
Although I'm going to see it. I just I booked
an animated movie. I play a pigeon. It's called Pierre
the Pigeon Hawkie. This sounds genius.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Yeah, you don't know what you.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Like?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Well, you just know what what you give. You're a
tough talking to me and Dominic Lombardos want to talk
about type.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Cast, I'll take I don't know if you know every
role I've ever done, I'm in a track suit.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Makes sense?

Speaker 1 (13:43):
You know.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
First first like speaking, well, no, I'll take that back,
because I was on Young and the Restless for like
you were, Yeah, but I was uh, just basically a
recurring extra, and then they started giving me under five.
First line I ever had, I was playing a later
in the coffee shop at the kids Cafe because there's like,
you know, eighty thousand storylines. And then I went from

(14:08):
that role to actually being a waiter.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
I went from the waiter to actor and then I
loved the role so much.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
He's like, you know, and then cs ID I played
h I was in the Tanglewood Boys and I'm in
a tracksuit. And then then when I was on Weeds,
I was uh, you know, just recurring. It was the
end of season two, beginning of season three. Tracks Armenian

(14:42):
by the ways, very similar, Yeah Italian.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Then I did this movie with the God My Memories
you're really bad names. It's also this is early Yeah,
it's true. Have you even been this leap it? Yeah?
There you go, You're you're you're good. Gosh, what was
the name?

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Do I need the I m d the Reno nine
one one oh yeah, and they did a comedy movie
and I'm in a tracksuit. The point is season one,
Cobra Kai, I'm in suits.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
You're upgrading until I set the car. That does make sense, Listen,
it's a long way for that. Yeah, you really did.
It was it was quite the journey.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
You need a track suit for.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, it doesn't. It doesn't help that you know my memories.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
That's pretty terrible. Listen, Brett's hanging out with us. This
is gonna be more with Brett. We can't wait when
we get back on the show. We're giving away track suit. No, no,
I'm kidding.
