It's showtime people, It's showtime.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Here we are.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Yes, you're about to experience this show. How would you
like to get down with some real gangsters with the
ringleader Eddie.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I'm weird and I have my weird quirks, but overall
I have a pretty normal sensibility the accountant and room
mothers Sky.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
I'm also not very brave nor strong.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
The enforcer thor Am I negative all the time?

Speaker 5 (00:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Do I have issues?

Speaker 6 (00:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
And dressed in black from head to toe.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Emily, I am a mix of trashy and classes.

Speaker 7 (00:35):
It's the show and it starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Well, this came down after the show yesterday, but we're
pretty excited. One person is very excited that we are
going to be talking to Scott Stapp from Cream this
morning at nine am. Who considers Scott a good friend?
Good good, good friend friend? I would say good friend. Okay, Scotty,

(01:08):
I mean you guys, Scotty. I don't know anybody that
calls him Scotty calls good friends, calls me t money.
I call him Scotty money. Well we'll find out, I guess.
And when he goes, hey, what's up tea money?

Speaker 1 (01:19):
It's a thing between me and him only offer professional Okay,
it's very strange.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
So Scott's staff from Creed. We'll be talking to him
at nine a m. This morning. We're looking forward to that.
So Emily is just finding this out. I think right
now he's pretty with the rest of you. That's pretty
hilarious because he's very excited.

Speaker 8 (01:39):
I didn't look at our little paper that he dropped
off this morning, and I hadn't had a chance with
your Instagram post.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
No, I didn't blow it up. I didn't follow the show.
All right, this is exciting, exciting. I broke that news
to you. His reaction was pretty well.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
My wife is super excited because she's a massive Creed fan.
So she wants me to ask if he can meet her,
and I'm like, I don't know if excuse me, I'm no,
we're now using the show as if I told her.
But and he's your boy. He is my boy I have.
But he turned off his messages. No one could DM
him anymore. Some messages you have, like you, if you

(02:17):
go to like certain people's facebooks, I mean instagrams, you
can't message me. He just blocked you, no, because he
follows me back Eddie ouch.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So discutstep. Yeah, I am. It was an exciting day
yesterday as well. I don't know. I saw this on
the news yesterday and I was, uh, you know not
I took pause. I guess I wasn't. There was zero concern,
I can say that, but I did take pause and
look and went, wait, what h There was a massive
earthquake that happened. I think in like the Atlantic Ocean

(02:49):
or something. I don't even know. It was over by
Russia wherever that is.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Nobody knows.

Speaker 9 (02:54):
Yeah, it was pretty wild because I couldn't wrap my
head around where the location is because they were talking
about how it's off of Russia, but the West Coast
is affected. But the way a flat map works, those
two places aren't connected.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
This is big, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
So I can't.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Rout the earth is round. I know it's round, I
don't think.

Speaker 9 (03:16):
All I can picture is a flat map and the
end of it is the West Coast.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
So I'm like, I literally couldn't picture where this.

Speaker 9 (03:24):
Was happening and had to google an image to figure
out boy Public School.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
You guys, it's in.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Or miss certain it was. It was a big earthquake.
I think it was like eight point seven what I heard.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
It turns out to be an eight point eight.

Speaker 9 (03:39):
At first they were saying eight point seven eight point
the strongest globally since twenty eleven, now a few years ago.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
No, that was like a three pointer, bro, And now one.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Of the craziest things I've ever been in my life.
It was I've never been more scared in my life
than that.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Do you think Emily yelled out at some point yesterday.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
After earthquake, Well, that's how big the one was that happened.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I mean it was literally just a little shaker and
you were panicked. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
And after the fact you were panicked. Yeah, it stopped
and you were worse.

Speaker 8 (04:19):
There's after shocks broken after a maybe maybe in this
case they would be hard, Oh, maybe they'd be more.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Think that's how earthquakes is huge.

Speaker 9 (04:29):
It's now one of the top ten strongest worldwide, like
ever on record.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
That means the big ones coming.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Emily stopped saying that you live here, but I but
I but I'm aware, Like I know it's going to
happen eventually. Well you don't freeze, Yeah, I don't free
you know, Yeah, I know it's coming.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
We'll get ready. It was so big that it's it
was in the ocean, so it's going to cause tsunamis.
And so as I'm walking by the TV, the news
is on and I see, uh, tsunami warning blah blah blah,
and I'm like what. And I looked at it and
I saw on the screen the places that could be targets.

(05:09):
Obviously Hawaii was the biggest one, and they said, you know,
Hawaii first, and then I saw the different places and
the one that caught my eye was Newport, Oregon. What
which If you don't know, Sky, Sky's a resident.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Yeah, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 9 (05:29):
If you'd like to know my story, currently live in
San Diego, bought a home in Newport, Oregon and hope
to retire there.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
You know, I gotta tie story. I gotta tell you story.
I may or may not have chuckled a little bit. Well, Well,
how funny would it be is if, after all this time,
this guy loses this organ house because he wants to
live on the coast, has to live on the coast,
and gets hit by a tsunami with that takes it out.

(06:01):
That would not be funny. Whole one. She's gonna lose
two homes.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Gone, okay, and I'm going to have beachfront proper now,
and Tula and too I and two. I thought she's
so worried about the Oregon house. Who knows if they're
contemplating having her husband fly out to check.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
On it, and the and the World War.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Three sense of urgency that was going on in the
sky household last night.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Did you hear it?

Speaker 9 (06:29):
Yeah, my daughter was doing some back to school shopping
with some friends. I picked her up around five ish,
and all of a sudden, she goes, Mom, what's up
with this tsunami alert? And I'm like, I don't know
what you're talking about, but you say tsunami alert and her,
oh wow.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
So I'm driving and.

Speaker 9 (06:48):
It's like rush hour traffic, so you like really got
to pay attention. And so I'm but I'm dying to
grab my phone and figure out where is this earthquake?
Is the Oregon house at risk? Are we at risk
in Sand Diego? What's going on? So as soon as
I get home, I run in and I turn on
like National News, you know, because I have all these
weird like live channels that I never watch. So it's

(07:12):
some like NBC National News type thing, and so they're
doing their pre set stories. But in the corner they
got images of the ocean, and I am just locking them.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
I walked into that little little box.

Speaker 9 (07:27):
They're showing Japan and people standing on roofs. They're talking
about big hotels in Hawaii evacuating.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
And all I want to know is what's going on
with Oregon.

Speaker 9 (07:38):
But clearly that was not the top hotspot for the news.
But I was locked in, and then the phone started
blowing up, blowing up, blowing up.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Uh huh.

Speaker 9 (07:49):
I had a couple friends reach out and be like,
is your Oregon house okay?

Speaker 4 (07:54):
And then my mom Yeah, but my mom and my
brother I.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Would take hours to get there, like you would hear
the first Yeah, we would hear Japan. Yeah it's not
there yet.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Gas lighting ridiculous thing to do.

Speaker 9 (08:12):
Yeah, more like thinking about your Oregon house and then
sending me the link to the news story. But the
big like emergency doomsday prepper, probably the biggest I know
my mom and my brother, Uh, they like for Christmas,
will gift you a ten gallon bucket of emergency supplies.
They're that people. So my mom asked if I was

(08:34):
going to call the Oregon tenants.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
Why to let them know, yes, well, and I'm assuming they.

Speaker 9 (08:42):
Don't they have the news internet television. Yeah, so I
just I didn't even get into I just playcated my mom.
I'm like, oh, thanks, you know, like I'm not even
I'm not even getting into it. But uh, she thought
we should call. But uh, you're giving up. I mean,
I mean they're so aware of tsunamis in this town

(09:04):
in Oregon that like it's where you drive by and
there's actually lines painted letting you know, like tsunami line.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
You know, there are a lot of tsunami.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Yeah, I don't know about the ring of fire. I
don't know.

Speaker 9 (09:18):
You guys say about the Pacific Ocean the ring of fire.
There's some taults out there, and they're saying, I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Know, it's.

Speaker 9 (09:28):
Something different, but yeah, no, they actually like in different
parts of the town where it kind of dips down
to the bay, there are actual big blue lines with
signs on the side of the road and it says
tsunami lines. So you know that if there's a if
the sirens go off, you need to run above that line.
That's the point where you need to pass to be

(09:51):
safe from said.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
You want to retire there in like what ten years,
hopefully your house is still there.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
But it's up on a cliff.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
And so I've seen that. Remember that tsunami, tidal wave
and deep impact that cliffe Uh standing there.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
With a book.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, sare I got it?

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Higher ground? I think your car? Yeah? So that was
that was my day. Wow. Well very dramatic, yes, not
quite as dramatic as what Emily went through with this tsunami.

Speaker 8 (10:28):
On another level, Mesa, Yeah, I do live in La Mesa.
So I was eleven girls, I don't there's nothing I mean,
I didn't mean to insult you like that. Even further,
there's nothing wrong with Lemon girl. I go there all
the time. I'm very close to it. But I do
live in the Masa. I do live in the Mesa.
So no, I wasn't worried for my own safety. Yesterday,
my son Reid went uh with my mom and he

(10:52):
was going to stay the night at grandma's house. My
mom lives in downtown San Diego, right by support Village
in a high rise condom. So my son was staying
there and they had dinner and they were hanging out
in the evening, and it was around seven fifteen ish
that I get a text for my son, and it

(11:13):
is a frantic text. Oh yeah, it's a frantic text
that I see coming. I didn't even hear about the tsunami.
I was watching the Padre game, so I didn't know
about it.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
But I didn't you missed it, miss there was a
tsunami of runs at.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Yeah, like I was. That was a ridiculous thing.

Speaker 8 (11:31):
I don't know, but still I was talking about the
potter as how well they did. So I so I
actually wasn't locked into the news last night, I for
you know, I usually am anyway, so I wasn't paying attention,
watched the Padra game, and I get the text from
my son saying, Mom, exclamation point, exclamation.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Exclamation, Oh yeah, tell me, what do you think that from?
Does he gasp? You think? Oh, without a doubt. It's
a family trait.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
When you hear crazy news, you have to gasp.

Speaker 8 (11:58):
Okay, like Robert my man does a gas because he's
not blood, but like ready family, everybody in the family gas.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Deep family.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
The over usage of explamation points, so we got a.

Speaker 8 (12:10):
Couple grabs all of it. You're saying that, thank you
for saying that, mom. Exclamation explanation point. Do you know
about the tsunami question mark, explation point, exclamation wow. And
then that's when he sends me a severe weather alert
that he got from Apple, which I'm assuming other people got.
I don't even know if I got it or not.
But he got some severe weather alert that's letting you

(12:32):
know about this. And that's when he says, Mom, they're saying,
if you live in a harbor or near Marina's leave
and go to higher ground. He's at my mom's house, Marina.
I don't know if it's this is all that.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
I did see that it was. I got a text
from my mom as well.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Guys, really she's concerned.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Nothing, just newsworthy cure about Hey, I just saw tsunami
morning for the entire West coast Russia had an earthquake,
not asking if I was.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Okay, oh, just letting you know.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
So then that's how I found out. And she is
exclamation points, no exclamation points. I don't even think she
used the period. I looked and it was the entire
West coast, so it was San Diego.

Speaker 9 (13:20):
Okay, yeah, yeah, so I know for the harbors. They
were specifically talking about Hawaii. I don't know about, but okay, but.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Read always reading his headlines. He's not digging into deep stories,
just a headline.

Speaker 8 (13:31):
He's a big headline guy, a big headline guy freaking out.
So that's when now I understand where where this is
going and what why he's texting me this, because that's
when he says, I really think I need to go home,
And that's when I start.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Realizing what's going on.

Speaker 8 (13:51):
Yeah, read's fifteen now going to grandma's back when you're
ten eleven, and like he's it's brutal, but when you're younger,
it's exciting.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Downtown he's making your stuff when you're fifteen. Yeah, well,
what time.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Was this that this is like seven fifteen.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
You don't think he's worried about his safety. I don't
think he's worried about his safety.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
I don't think you want to watch Matt Locke with grandma. Hey,
that sounds like a good time. You stop it.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
So he sits there and says, I think I need
to go home. I think it'd be safer if I
go home all this stuff, and then the last text
really got me. What, mom, something in my gut is
telling me, something in my guts telling me tell you what.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Is that when you're like, read, I already drank five bottles.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
I didn't say that. That's true going on in my house.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (14:48):
And that's when I pick up the phone and go,
enough's enough. And I could and call him and I go,
I go read what are I go?

Speaker 2 (14:54):
What are you doing?

Speaker 4 (14:54):
I go, I see what you're doing?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Don't lie?

Speaker 4 (14:58):
You're playing to blink.

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Together out of Grandma's house and come home. That's exactly
what's happening. Like over, suck it up your file, like
like I'm watching the news, there's I'm watching the podget
and Teco is full and it's right down the street
from so true evacuate peing big. I did look into

(15:20):
it and knew that it was and I actually kind
of had to dig for the story. Like NBC had
it in a little like square on the website. But
you think it would be everywhere.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Yeah, I saw online that if anything would hit San
Diego would be at like one am.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Oh yeah, ankle slappers.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Ankle slappers, yeah, reach out there on his logboard. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (15:40):
Now now, now we did see some waves like about
six feet.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (15:45):
Crescent City, which is northern California, saw an additional like
three and.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
A half feet. But they say, besides that, Yeah, they
said in.

Speaker 9 (15:53):
Some parts, a wh wh what about Read's gut Read
scot was a little wrong.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Yeah, they said, like it's never wrong.

Speaker 9 (16:00):
The craziest image you're going to see is like boats
that were pushed on shore in Hawaii.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
You know, we.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Recovered Gut's usually not wrong, but unfortunately this time. Yes,
so we were talking yesterday about the top tourist traps
in the US. Well, we're going to see what the
opposites are. We're going to go over where the top
rated tourist attractions are in the US. When we get

(16:26):
back on the show, a rock five to three oooh,
fighters on the show, it's Rock one five to three. Uh. So,
yesterday we were talking about the biggest tourist traps in
the US. That just started like waste time, waste of money,
that kind of thing. While we have the opposite now,

(16:48):
I guess we have the top tourist attractions and experiences
in the US.

Speaker 9 (16:53):
Yeah, so they let us know the top attractions according
to trip Advisor and all their readers here in the US,
and then also experiences. Now, the experiences are things that
are going to actually cost you money. But are normally
also considered attractions. So when it comes to just the
top attractions in the US, this is what trip Advisor says.

(17:14):
Coming in tenth place, we have Alcatraz.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Alcatraz is cool. I mean, I don't know that I
do it more than the one time I've done it.
But the one time I did it, I liked it.
I thought it was interesting.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Yeah, you got to do it once. Everybody has to
do it once.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Did you You so you did it? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (17:29):
I did.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Did you do the walking tour?

Speaker 8 (17:31):
I did, but I didn't stick with it. I was
in and out of it.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
I don't even know how in and out. Like you
wear these headphones. It tells you about every interesting aspect
about like this cell had this guy. They stay with
the tour? Yeah, how do you.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
And I remember about I just kind of bounced around.
It took too long. I got uninterested in one of
the stories. I like skipped forward.

Speaker 8 (17:57):
I don't remember, but I know that I like definitely
didn't stick with it.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
That's insane, that's weird.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (18:02):
Number nine tourist attraction in the US the Metropolitan Museum
of Art in New York City.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
No, you don't want to do that I mean, not
a me guy. No, No, I.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Wonder how much it is even to get in there. Yeah,
it's probably really expensive, and then it's just you're looking
at art.

Speaker 8 (18:19):
I'd love to go just so that I could be
at the same spot that the Macallan is. Oh boy,
that's what that's the only walking up those stairs.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
So you walk up the stairs and leave. But I
like art museums. Okay, they're cool.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Okay, Yeah, we tinfoil dress and stand out.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Yeahoi, they ask her what it is that she goes.
It's just short lightings.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
What are you wearing? Short lightings? Very style.

Speaker 9 (18:44):
Uh. The number eight top attraction in the US is
the National Museum of World War Two Aviation.

Speaker 11 (18:52):
I would love is in Colorado's history and love aviation,
so this would be great.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yes, this I'm all about. Yeah, you're like an aviation
museum in Palm Springs. I went to It was pretty interesting,
probably nowhere near the scale of what the right, Yeah,
but it was cool. That's cool.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah, Yeah, this'd be all about Colorado Springs.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
And he's writing it down, Okay, Colorado, when are you
going to go for that?

Speaker 9 (19:18):
Number seven goes to the Brooklyn Bridge. They're just walking
across the.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
I haven't walked across a bit across it, but I
haven't walked across.

Speaker 8 (19:28):
Is it like the same thing, Like the same feeling
is going to go across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
I mean it's cool to true.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
What.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah, it's a bridge.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
I don't know why. I don't know why it's so
highly review.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Looks cool, Okay, all right.

Speaker 9 (19:41):
Number six top us tourist attraction goes to the Coral
Reef State Park in Key Largo, Florida.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
Oh yeah, another reason to go to Key West.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
The Dream.

Speaker 9 (19:51):
Yes, So this I I've read about this. This is
an underwater park where they've like intentionally sunk in like
old ships and stuff to get so many fish and turtles.
So like it's really like if you want to go
scuba diving.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
That's the spot.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
When we went snorkeling in Key West, there was like
a a Jesus statue in the water they put down
They put down there, and it's weird. It's weird though.
It's kind of freaky, you know, because it's like it's
a giant statue with stuff all over it. Yeah, it's cool.

Speaker 9 (20:23):
The number five top tourist attraction in the US goes
to the Stetson Mansion in Florida. So like the stets In,
like the brand Stetson. I guess the dude who created
it has a massive mansion in Florida that you can
now go in and tour and people must be impressed
if it's rated. The number five tourist attraction. Number four

(20:45):
is Central.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Park is cool. I mean I really enjoyed it. You know,
I've been there a few times. Yeah, it's really cool. Yeah,
it's fun to walk through walk through ice skating during December. Cool. Wow.

Speaker 9 (20:59):
Number three he goes to Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
What are you gonna do? You walk over? Oh that's
where Elvis recorded.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Can you go in and seect the booths and stuff?

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (21:10):
Yeah, and they have like records and memorabilia, stories and stuff.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Guys, I know, but I don't care about that at all. Sorry.

Speaker 9 (21:19):
Number two is very interesting because this is something that
was talked about a lot by you guys when we
were talking about the tourist traps, and that is the
Empire State coming in as the number two top tourist attraction.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
So the reviews are great.

Speaker 9 (21:36):
And number one goes to the NASA Kennedy Space Center
visitor complex.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
I would learn. I'm surprised you've never been. I know,
I know. It would be really cool though. I'd love
to check it out. Yeah, especially for a launch.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Oh, Eddie, so good. Shick your top experiences.

Speaker 9 (21:52):
Number five is a secret food tour of Chinatown in
Little Italy and New York, three hour, seven stops, ninety
bucks for the Number four is the nine to eleven
Memorial and the Museum.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
That's a hard one, it's gonna be said.

Speaker 9 (22:07):
But it's super fascinating too, like the stuff they have
in there.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
I'm in the museum, but I've been to the fountains.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
It's tough.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Yeah, I've been in the museum.

Speaker 9 (22:14):
It's crazy when you kind of go like in there
and they're showing like the steel hanging out and stuff.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
It's wild.

Speaker 9 (22:20):
Number three is the Chicago River Cruise Architecture Tour.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
Actually talk to somebody who's doing that next week. Really.

Speaker 8 (22:28):
Yeah, We've been in Chicago couple times for work and
I always wanted to do that, but I never had time.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Oh oh, and told me those it's amazing.

Speaker 9 (22:37):
Number two experience in the US is the Haunted Salem
Walking Tour in Salem, Massachusetts. And number one is the
Grand Tour around Honolulu. It's sixteen locations plus snorkeling. And
I went to the website and it's like sold out
way in advance.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Yeah, it's all day.

Speaker 9 (22:56):
They take you to sixteen spots plus you snorkel So
that sounds.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Okay, there you go. So when you are at a
get together or party and you're kind of holding court
telling a story, make that story a little bit better,
you know. You know, we're gonna see one of the
top things people embellish about at parties coming up next
on the show. I'll rock with a five three sublime

(23:23):
on the show, it's rock one O five to three.
So I'm sure that this has probably happened to you before.
If you're at a party or get together or whatever,
you're telling a story that you may add some colorful
details in there that may or may not have happened,
just to make the story a little bit more interesting.
You know, you maybe add a little couple of things

(23:44):
in there. Okay, maybe that didn't happen, but you know what,
I loved this. I love this story. It's great. It
could happen. Well, I guess they looked into this, and
I guess people do tend to do this, and you
know maybe that we do embellish things when we're telling
story and things like that at parties.

Speaker 8 (24:01):
If you've ever been around my man Robert, Yeah, and
you hear him tell you a story, know, whatever number
or whatever he's telling, you tone it down by like
times two. Oh really, because every story he'll be sitting
there telling somebody somebody something and he'll be like, yeah,
there are like four hundred people there, and I'm like,
there was like fifty people there. Like I'm thinking myself,
like he embellished his stories so much.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
To call him out straight to his face in front of.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
People, I don't what the hell telling that's so wild?

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Are you in his story? In Bellichher Not.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Normally, but I do get over you guys, know, I
would get overly excited.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
So then you go, okay, maybe not that much time
that does. I don't think you start up real big
here and then then really yeah, and then we call
you out on it and the story isn't that great
at all? That does happen and you're like, okay, maybe
it's not that great. I don't think you're exactly.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
I don't think I'm not.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
I don't say that.

Speaker 9 (24:54):
Well, yeah, they ask people, okay, do you embellish, and
about forty percent of people admit that, yes, I do
embellish regularly. But most of them say, but it's just
for comedic effect. It's to make people laugh, it's not
to make myself look cool. But then when they ask people, okay, well,
then what are the top types of stories or topics

(25:17):
that you embellish on, it's kind of interesting because it's
not all for comedic effect. And these were the top
ten answers. Number ten is your DIY skills. You're talking
about a project you did, and maybe you embellish how
great it is.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
I have no problems doing that. Excuse me. Well, so
I have a pool guy that comes in, you know,
takes care of my pool. Yeah, and there was a
broken piece in the filter and he told me about it,
and he said, yeah, you can just order it and
you can put it in yourself. And I got really nervous.
I was like, I'm not good at that kind of stuff,
Like what do I do? Show me exactly how to

(25:54):
do any it's literally like almost like a plug. You
literally just plug it in and it's like a stopper. Yeah,
there's nothing to it. Like honestly, you just take like
a basket out, you put this plug in, put the
basketback in. You're done. But I'm gonna tell people I
fixed the filter, like I got in there. I got
I was so soaked, man, but I got there. I

(26:16):
won't tell that story till I died, Oh God, and
the like. You know, I had to really get in
the filter, disassemble and take the old piece out, which
put the new piece so.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
Many steps.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
Yeah, so d I y stuff.

Speaker 9 (26:34):
Number ten, number nine talking about people they know or
interactions Scott's stap.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
I mean, you know I interviewed him. You you did
a half hour. You know he d m me after
an instant story I posted. That's a fact. Since then,
we've had minimal communication. Zero minimal zero communication is one side.
I would say, you may hit him up. I would
say minimum and I can't wait to talk to my
friends today.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
Or maybe you tell people I don't know that you
partied with Jamie FOXX.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
I did.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I have a question that night in Vegas that you
weren't there for Jamie Fox not in the same room.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Yeah, was it? But I wouldn't say it before we
like fifteen free from each other.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Yes we were, Yes, we were. We were in the room.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Was I was I hanging out with Joe Jonas talking
to him?

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (27:28):
I was, I mean probably quick now I had.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
I was in his room. It's a fact, Baby, I'm uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
It was me.

Speaker 8 (27:37):
It was me.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Joe Jonas actually used to be on the show A
Spider Monkey the band D n C And which was
Joe Jonas and a bunch of little people who look
like George Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. And why was
that Jamie Fox? I don't show up with his daughter
And it was after the iHeart Festival at like one
in the morning. Look who wants to be there? Now?

(28:02):
It still doesn't okay, right.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Number anything that we will in balance.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
George is a family member, so I mean he was okay,
I mean he was not really not really.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
A fifth cousin a couple married to a cousin. Yes
he was, no.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
True I mean removed cousin anyway. Number anything people a
Belisha parties is.

Speaker 9 (28:32):
Their knowledge or connection to current affairs going on in
the world.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
We kind of talked about it with the tsunami earlier.

Speaker 9 (28:40):
Number seven people's sporting abilities, how they performed on the.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Field, Like maybe they're super fast and then lose the
sky in a race.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
You guys just taking shots at each other.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Number six thin people in BELLI. I mean I played
varsity volleyball.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
I know whoa Okay, I'm not hitter, and I'm number
six outside my position?

Speaker 4 (29:09):
She played football? Would you not say your position?

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Who I was on the squat she's blocking a but
she probably like was really good in like freshmen by
the time she was a junior sting care the why to.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Make the team.

Speaker 9 (29:23):
Number six thing people in bellish is their experiences, whether
it's skydiving or like whatever fancy you know, adrenaline things
they're doing. Number five is their childhood experiences. How great
their childhood was. Number four we embellish our vacations, how
amazing they are. Number three are salary. People will embellish

(29:44):
at a party. Number two thing is their job title.
And the number one thing people will embellish is a
funny story to you.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
Then that's about all right. Thor and I are massive
wrestling fans, so we're very excited have WWE superstar carrying
cross who's going to join us when we get back
on the show at Rock with a five three some
forty one on the show, it's Rock one O five
to three. We are going to be joined shortly by

(30:16):
WWE superstar Carrion Cross. Now, if you're not familiar with
his work, he is a very interesting dude. He's written
a book and so I'm gonna talk to him about that.
But carrying Cross is it got kind of an interesting
career trajectory where you know, he kind of started off

(30:38):
in NXT, which is sort of like the beginning. I
won'dn't say it's minor leagues, but it's kind of like
the miners, okay, and then you get brought up into
either Raw or SmackDown, and uh, it didn't go well
once he got brought up, and in fact he lost
his job and then they brought him back. Yeah, and
it's been a wild ride so far. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
No, and SummerSlam this weekend too.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Well, SummerSlam is gonna be awesome because it is a
two night event for the first time ever. Like russell
Mania has gone to two nights for the past few years,
and now SummerSlam.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
They're making like all their big ones two nights.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
It seems like, yeah, well yeah, this has kind of
been the latest thing. And of course, as we know,
Survivor Series is said is coming here in San Diego
this year, which is very exciting. So here we go.
We're being joined right now by WWE Superstar Carrying Cross.
How's it going, Carrion?

Speaker 12 (31:31):
Very good? What's going on over that?

Speaker 2 (31:32):
We're good, man. We're just talking about how Survivor Series
is coming here to San Diego at Petco Park. We
are very excited about that, especially being big wrestling fans.
And of course we've got SummerSlam right around the corner.
This is a huge, huge time for the WWE.

Speaker 12 (31:47):
Oh yes, big time. It's gonna be very good, very
good time in the business. Right now, we're on Netflix
reaching more homes than ever, SummerSlam coming up on pumps.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Yeah, So tell me about your book, because this is
why you're on and this is always cool when wrestlers
write books. Thor and I are massive wrestling fans. We've
always loved it, and so whenever we get a book
from a wrestler, it's really interesting stuff. What is your
book all about? It's called Life is Fighting.

Speaker 12 (32:16):
Yes, I would describe my book as a bit of
a memoir actually, and I know a lot of wrestlers
do books about wrestling. Yeah, of course there's wrestling in
my book. But I've had a very unique life in
the sense that it hasn't been exactly a Brady Bunch
television show. I've had a lot of different things to overcome,
and I've just come to find in my own self
discovery that you can't really be vulnerable with people and

(32:39):
have like an open discussion until you've gotten through things
and you've processed them and you can kind of calmly
talk through your losses and how you recovered. And that's
especially what the book is about. It's about recovering from
different situations in life and not being afraid to go
for something when you don't have a perfect hand to play.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Did you have a tough upgrading, up upbringing or in
child stuff like that.

Speaker 12 (33:01):
I don't necessarily know if it was tough, But I
grew up in New York before Giuliani cleaned up the city,
and I can just tell you that if you've ever
seen the movie Escape from New York. Yeah, like once
the Sun went Down back in like the late eighties,
early nineties, like everyone was running everywhere. No one was walking, and.

Speaker 10 (33:18):
I thought that was really weird as a kid.

Speaker 12 (33:20):
Yeah, no one was walking, you were running, and I
think it was because they really didn't want to be
outside where I lived.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
That's pretty crazy. So, you know, you've talked about your struggles,
and I got to be honest, watching your career in
the WWE, it hasn't been easy either for you. You know,
you went through these different you know times where you
know your job has been on the line and things
have been happening and all these things. Talk about a
little bit, how you see your WWE tenure so far.

Speaker 12 (33:52):
You know, I wouldn't change any of it the way
it's played out, because it's actually led me to having
a very unique and strong relationship with the audience. I'm
just going to state the obvious here, and it's kind
of the elephant in the room. You know, when like
an entertainment corporation tries to shove anybody down the audience's throat,
whether it's wrestling, music, movies, TVs, you can feel it.

(34:13):
And I definitely have not been somebody that they've done
that with. And I think that oftentimes, having an organic
relationship with the audience and a connection comes from being
a person who the audience can see is persevering against
a lot of different invisible hands, so to speak. So
I wouldn't change any of it. It hasn't been perfect.
It's been very challenging, and it's actually led me to

(34:34):
hear and this isn't something that you can recreate with anybody.
I've got something special here with the crowd, and I
feel so honored, sincerely and so privileged to have that.
It's a real thing, and it's even going on, like
when people aren't even seeing it, Like everywhere I'm going
in life, I've got people coming up to me and
telling me their life stories and talking about how they've
been fans of mine for years and people are finally
seeing it. Everyone's got like some sort of story of

(34:56):
where they were and what was going on when they
saw me doing something. Hasn't always been that way, and
that feels really amazing.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Well, Carrion, you know, to be honest with you, as
as a wrestling fan, we see talent and we see
you you are, you know, have a phenomenal look, you
have a phenomenal character, all these things, and we're always wondering,
like why why aren't we getting more of him, and
when we don't get that what we want as fans,
it is frustrating. And so the fans are voicing their

(35:24):
opinion and saying, give us more, Carrion, give us more.
And it's sort of the same thing happened when you know,
our truth got fired and like the fans are going
to voice their opinions those kind of things, and you
get like this almost movement behind you.

Speaker 12 (35:37):
Yeah, and listen, they should. This is there's there's something
that's been happening for a long time in in entertainment
where the art within the entertainment gets sterilized for you know,
the sake of monetization, and that that's got it. There's
got to be a common ground where that people can
still be heard and they can get what they're looking
for out of what they're watching, because that's what it's

(35:58):
all about. The people aren't there, we wouldn't be here.
So as things are changing and developing and entertainment, we've
got to find the middle ground. We can't just do
everything by numbers because that's not how art works now.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
Carrion, I'm a New Yorker. You're a New Yorker. You're
performing at summer slam MetLife Stadium aka Giants Stadium. That's
going to be amazing. But let me take you back
to like twenty twenty twenty twenty one. You show up
on WWE, you have a match against Jeff Hardy. They
make you lose in like two minutes, and then Vince
comes at you and gives you a helmet and suspenders
and like completely changes you. What was your thought process

(36:35):
when Vince is telling you all these things and basically
changing your character. How tough was that to get through?

Speaker 12 (36:43):
I was thinking at the time that I had too
much momentum through NXT, and I thought that that threatened
a lot of people because I was given the opportunity
at that time to that one hundred some of the
best in the business and h create at an entity
in NXT that was being perceived in the eyes of

(37:06):
equity in the audience at the same level as main roster.
And I always felt like I was the one who
kind of took like the hits to kind of hurt that.
That's the way I felt. Whether it was really that
way or not, I'll never know, but all I can
tell you is how I felt, And that's what I
thought was going on. I remember fans online on the
internet were booking me and Scarlett versus Bobby Lashley and

(37:29):
MVP versus Roman Reigns and Paul Hayman, and at the time,
no one was really fantasy booking NXC champions against main
roster people, but people felt like I was going to
land up at main roster and we had that vibe,
so I was honored.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Yeah, that is wild. Well, we're looking forward to the book.
We're going to check it out. Life is Fighting, and
of course we're going to check out SummerSlam with your
big match against against Sammy Zane and all that good stuff.
So congratulations on all of it. Carry and we're behind you, man,
Thank you so much. Absolutely, there you go. Ww six
star carrying Cross. Fascinating story. Man, He's a really interesting dude.

(38:07):
The Padres have been looking good lately and I found
some runs, which is nice. Well, we're gonna see if
they kept going yesterday against the Mets next to sports
Sturt and so if the Padres have found their stroke
a little bit, Oh boy stopped, Emily stopped. Well, things

(38:32):
were pretty tight between the Padres and Mets for a
big part of the game. It was one one until
the sixth inning when Jackson Merrill had an RBI triple
to put them ahead two to one, and that's when
the Padres really opened things up. They had a five
run seventh inning, including a three run home run by

(38:52):
Manny Machado that put the game away, and they won
the game seven to one. So taking two already from
the Mets is massive. It's fantastic. And Lon Soto actually
had to leave the game in the fourth inning after
he fouled the ball off his foot, so x rays
are negative. I'm sure he'll be fine, but I doubt
you're going to see him in the lineup today as
the Padres are going to go for the sweep in

(39:13):
a day game today, so that goes so exciting.

Speaker 8 (39:18):
I've had so much fun the last couple of nights
watching the Padre My handswer from all the high five,
so I was given Robert last night.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
He's still alive after the high five? Well you hyped
high five?

Speaker 12 (39:30):
Is like?

Speaker 2 (39:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (39:31):
Is that costa tsunami sky?

Speaker 2 (39:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
I'm just putting it together.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Good possibilities today are you gonna be? Yes? How are
you going to?

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Because they won? They won the series, don't get crazy.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
Don't get crazy.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
I won't.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
I won't be super duper down.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
I'll keep it cool. Now.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
If we lose today and then the next game.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
What talking about?

Speaker 4 (39:52):
Check's cool?

Speaker 12 (39:56):
Man?

Speaker 2 (39:56):
It doesn't sound like you keep it cool. The San
Diego FC, he played their first international competition as they
open up its League Cup campaign. I don't know what
that is. I don't know what that means. I wish
I got a little bit better explanation. They lost a
close one three to two to CF. I don't know

(40:16):
what that is, either, snaptair and listen. I'm not going
I gotta be honest with you. I don't know what
any of this stuff is, you know. I mean, I
don't like, I don't understand how you're playing something separate
from the MLS season in the middle of the season,
and I'm very confused.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
I have to admit.

Speaker 9 (40:32):
I was checking Google trends this morning and something about
the soccer yes I and I clicked on it and
all the articles were in Spanish, and I'm like, I'm
tapped out.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I don't, I don't, I don't really, I don't know
what's going on. Apparently this is the first of three
Phase one group stage matches. They're gonna play again on Friday.
I don't know what. I just don't know what it means.
I don't know, but he explained it. I don't when any.

Speaker 11 (41:02):
Sport does this. It's odd to me, Like when the
NBA does their in season tournament.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Just at least it's within the league, you know, it's
against each other. This I don't. It's like, I know
that there are other leagues out there, but I thought
the MLS just played the MLS. I'm totally lost.

Speaker 1 (41:17):
The Premier League and all that stuff does weird stuff
like this where they're just like one day, they're in
the middle of the season and then this team is
going to play this random team and a friendly.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
Gam which I kind of understand friendlies too, which are exhibitions.
This is thank you, but this is though, and like,
how does this against the league? I don't know any
of it. Trying to sorry. The gunman who killed four
people in New York City was targeting the NFL headquarters

(41:49):
in the same building. But I guess the guy got
off on the wrong floor, so you know, they're they're lucky.
Other people. I'm very unfortunate. The man was claiming he
had CTE and was upset at the NFL. He never
played in the NFL, so I don't know. And obviously
the guy had a history of mental illness, so that's

(42:09):
a bigger issue of the problem there. Not great. The
new Madden game has released It's ninety nine club. Now
that means these are the players with the highest rating
ninety nine in the game. The cover guy sey Kwalm
Barkley is in the ninety nine Oh it is a
players saque No the backdrop off this year.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Anytime a running back has a season like that, it's great,
but then the second year they come back down better.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
It always happens. Oh okay, So wouldn't draft MEAs quarterbacks
Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, wide receivers Jamar Chase and
Justin Jefferson, left tackle Lane Johnson, and defensive end Miles Garrett,
we're all in the ninety nine club. I usually would.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
I don't care about this, but the fact that Dexter
Lawrence didn't get a ninety nine club it's insane. The
guy led the league in sacks as defensive tackle one
point during the season before you got hurt. Ridiculous. He's
the best defensive tackle in football anyway? Sorry, Wow, that
was shit. I think he's really good. He's the best
defensive tackle football.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Ridiculous Sports Dirt is brought to you by Bill Hout Plumbing,
Heating and air Restoration at Flood. Visit Bill Hout dot
com today. Uh, have you had more one more than
one love of your life? A lot of people have.
Some people have, which makes you think, well, if you
unfortunately die, who do you spend eternity with? I don't.

(43:41):
I don't think you can spend it with.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
Both a Titanic Jack and Rosy.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
Honestly, honestly, this is a big debate online. We're gonna
get into all that coming up next on the show
at Rock with a five three hearn day on the
show one. There is a big debate going on online
right now all over eternity. If you believe that when

(44:11):
you die you go to a place whatever you want
to call it, heaven or whatever, you're spending eternity now,
and you think about your life in eternity, you want
to be surrounded with your loved ones. Probably, I guess, well,
what if you've had multiple loves of your life, who

(44:33):
do you spend eternity with? Maybe? You know deep down, Well,
it's got to be this one, or maybe you go
I don't know. And Thor brought up an interesting one.
We always talk about Titanic, and you have Rose, that
murderer who met a boy and spent like four days

(44:55):
with him. If but became the love of her life. Yes,
but then let's remember she kills him. Let's go, she,
let's go, She let's go. There's plenty of room the doors.
She could have.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
Scoot scooch turns he was a gentleman.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
She murdered him. Let go. He's at the bottom of
the ocean now, thanks Rose. And but she then survived,
went on, had a life, had a husband and family.
She dies as the old lady, and then her eternity
is with Jack, the guy she met four days ago

(45:30):
at the top of those stands. Why would you want
to go back? That sounds like a horrible place. Ye, memory,
you know that's why I died.

Speaker 10 (45:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (45:39):
The guy who's just sitting there waiting, he's here an
attorney waiting for Rose. Rose is like peace out. I'm
going with the guy I boned in the car in
the and the Titanic.

Speaker 9 (45:50):
Because the guy after Jack, what they were together sixty seventy.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
Well, I mean I was thinking about Jacket.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
That she must have. Really, Yeah, you're gonna spend eternity
with Jack? Do you even know Jack's last name?

Speaker 4 (46:11):
Probably?

Speaker 2 (46:12):
What the hell? Dude, that's kind of crazy.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Remember she stole she should have spent it with She said,
should have spent it with her ex fiancee, who she
stole from me.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
She the guy slapped her. I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (46:25):
Horrible.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
He loved her.

Speaker 4 (46:28):
We stole a child so we could.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Get on the boat. Genius. Women and children first always
pissed me.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
Armed. Is not every man for themselves?

Speaker 4 (46:37):
Really?

Speaker 2 (46:37):
What they did? What he had to do? Okay, okay,
you are the billy zaying of the show without it down.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
I would definitely write it down. If I was on
the Titanic, I would take a kid that was crying
and be like, we gotta get on this boat and
away from mother.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
Why would I write that? Why would I write that down?

Speaker 1 (46:57):
I'm not going down with this ship because like my
happen again, Like, why are we booking?

Speaker 2 (47:02):
And why would you want to write that down? Yeah,
that's a horrible thing. You're like, yeah, I know what now,
I know what you would want to think sky. But
your mom is kind of in this position. She was
with your father for so many years, and your father
unfortunately passed away, and then she finds a new love

(47:26):
and she has this new love of her life. She
does so when your mom goes, who is she picking
to spend eternity with, that's wild. It's got to be
your dad. You would hope, right, I would hope.

Speaker 4 (47:39):
I would think she sent us these.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
Maybe the dud your your new dad is like the
jack in this story, is like, you know really.

Speaker 9 (47:51):
And she's like, yeah, they do have the strawn pictures
of her, Okay, I don't know if he's strong.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
New pictures of her. They do.

Speaker 9 (48:00):
My dad didn't have any saying in him they and
they definitely.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
Have different kinds of love.

Speaker 9 (48:06):
Where my mom and my dad was this like quiet,
I got your back, I'm always there for you, like
let's hold hands love, And then her and her new
husband it's like, oh, it's like broadcast it from the rooftops,
like we're always cuddling. We're telling everyone how amazing the
other person is, like over the top type of love.

Speaker 4 (48:29):
So they're they're very different.

Speaker 9 (48:32):
My mom did once send me very confusing instructions on
who she wants to be buried with.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
What. Yeah, yeah, after she's met your new day.

Speaker 9 (48:45):
Well, so she sent this when they were dating, but
they hadn't gotten married yet, and she sent it to
me and my brother. She says, if I do remarry,
my new husband can carry out my wishes if he's able.
If he's not or dies first, see if I can
still be placed with your dad. If not, I can

(49:09):
be placed with my current husband. Something about him being
a veteran. But if none of that works out, please
scatter my ashes in the ocean.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
What w What I mean? There's so many variables there.
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (49:25):
How So she is now married, why matter if he
dies before her?

Speaker 2 (49:30):
She I don't know, so I don't.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
I Luckily you won't ask questions or anything.

Speaker 9 (49:35):
Yeah, no, definitely definitely won't bring up so very confusing.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
Yeah, this is this is tricky. So the question basically
is asked, if you have more than one love of
your life, who do you pick? Yeah.

Speaker 9 (49:50):
They just released a trailer for this new Elizabeth Olsen
movie coming out in November called Eternity, and that's exactly
what it's about. I guess she was married younger and life,
and then the husband like went off to war and
ended up dying, and then she was married for a
very long time to Miles tell her, and then the
two of them die at the same time. But well,

(50:12):
I think it was like an accident or something, a
car accident, and then all of a sudden she's in
eternity and both husbands are there, and she has to
pick who she's gonna spend her quote eternity with, and
they both try and.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
Like shared custody.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Yeah, a little bit of this, a little.

Speaker 8 (50:27):
Bit of that that seems I don't know.

Speaker 4 (50:30):
I don't know if the husbands are.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
Usband.

Speaker 9 (50:37):
She was in the trailer, she's pumped, but then when
she realizes they're both there and she has to pick
between both of them, what do you do?

Speaker 4 (50:47):
It sounds like it's like a dark comedy in a way,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 9 (50:53):
But it definitely got the Internet talking of like is
it the first love?

Speaker 4 (50:57):
Is it the person you're with.

Speaker 9 (50:59):
The longest amount of time?

Speaker 2 (51:02):
The looks it always comes down Miles Teller, who's the
other guy? That's why you know?

Speaker 1 (51:06):
Callum Turner, I don't know who he was becoming actor
was in the movie.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
He was in The Knows.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
This guy he was in the HBO series that was
about pilots in the World War Two. Guys, Okay, this
one day, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (51:22):
I feel like I'm going Miles Okay Again, this isn't
about if your first husband was Glen Powell.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
You didn't have as much time with Glenn Powell. But
you know, it's Glen Pale and you got Miles Teller
over here. He's not a bad looking guy, but you
know he's not Glen Pale back. You had way more
time with Myles.

Speaker 9 (51:44):
And you were just recently with Miles Teller, like before
you died. That's the person you were in love with
and living with and experiencing life with.

Speaker 1 (51:52):
But Glen Pough, you go to a situation like this,
you're the boo. What this guy's taking care of you
for all this time together, all these years. God forbid,
what something happens?

Speaker 2 (52:04):
God forbid?

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Man Boo remarries just like Smoking Hot twenty five Boo.
She's into him, she loves the grid chick looks like
Sidney Sweening.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
Oh my god, that's the dream.

Speaker 1 (52:20):
Boo eventually dies. I think we know, you know, the
girl dies accident accident and then they show up. Sky goes.

Speaker 9 (52:35):
Okay, I don't feel like I sound like that an eternity.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
Yeah, and he's got he's got to make a choice. Sky,
who's been.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
The other way? Hell, that's where she's at.

Speaker 8 (52:55):
You know, that's an easy come on, A predicament.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
You know, the smoking a hot twenty five year old.
Even you would be like, I get it, eternity there,
I don't. I don't sound like Emily. Were you picking
new guy or old guy?

Speaker 6 (53:17):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Robert all the way, he's not even in play. This
is fictional because you don't have She goes by looks.

Speaker 4 (53:23):
I do gotta go by looks. No, Honestly, I feel
like you go by them.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
How works?

Speaker 8 (53:27):
I feel like you have to go by the person
that you're most recently with.

Speaker 4 (53:30):
It would be really hard.

Speaker 8 (53:32):
Though, because I'd be so curious, say I did lose
somebody previously, Like I would be so curious to see
them again.

Speaker 4 (53:38):
And how those feelings.

Speaker 2 (53:39):
Your heart would tell you which one to pick?

Speaker 8 (53:43):
Yeah, I probably would, But I feel like the right
thing to do is pick the most recent one.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
But is that what you're thinking. I don't know that
that's what you're thinking. No, you're probably what's right here.
I'm going to go wherever my heart tells me to go,
you know, And I know I'm never going to say
it out loud, but I know that was the love
of my life, whoever it was, and so that's what
I gotta go with. Now, what if it is this?

Speaker 4 (54:06):
Oh god, oh no, don't throw a twist in here.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
What you marry somebody? Obviously you love them, You've had
a nice life together, but there was that one that
you loved more than anything and it just didn't work out.
You didn't end up with them. Now what are you
gonna do?

Speaker 4 (54:25):
But you have the chance to be with them an eternity, But.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
They wouldn't They not want to be with you.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Let's let's yeah, but it worked, it didn't work out
for whatever reason, like they had to move or whatever reason.
It didn't work. But you're like, even throughout your life,
you would always think about them. Man, what would my
life have been? Who do you pick? You loved your
your wife or husband, but not like that love. That

(54:51):
love was crazy love, you know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (54:53):
It's a risk though, because you might end up seeing
that person in eternity, but it was never a sure thing,
and maybe it didn't work out, then maybe it's still
work out there.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
Then the end of you're spending attorney alone. What I
don't think that's I don't think that's how attorney.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
Don't know that's your sky looking at your X.

Speaker 12 (55:11):
Chick.

Speaker 4 (55:11):
Okay, you're I'm not I don't like your scenario.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
I don't.

Speaker 9 (55:16):
I don't care for your scenario at all. Twenty five
year old Okay, Sidney Sweeney, Yeah right, please.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
You don't think can pull that? All right? It is Wednesday,
so we're gonna see what is bothering him this week.
It's Thors mid Week Meltdown. Coming up next on the show.
I'll rock with a five three audio on the show.

(55:44):
It's rock five three hopefully. You know you're having a
nice morning. Everybody's doing fine, all that stuff, But that's
about the change. Let you know, it is time for
Thors Midweek Meltdown and.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
The show is happy to bring you have some Respectors
midweek milkdowndown.

Speaker 2 (56:11):
Well, here we go. You know, Thor's Midweek meltdown is
about change. You know. The guy gets in there, you know,
and any any I'm budd babe, and please don't call
me any of those things, babe. Yes, you know it
is a weird coincidence. I don't think it's When Thor

(56:32):
goes off about something, it does tend to help and
change whatever it is he's upset about. It is hot.
I'll give him that world. Yeah, the world. You're gonna
like rant about wool politic. I stick to San Diego on.
It's only things that affect you, really, let's be honest. Y. Yeah,

(56:52):
we you know, just recently had that whole garbage strike
thing and that day that you did. But you know,
what is it? What is it this week? The year?

Speaker 11 (57:05):
So I know what you're thinking that I a few
weeks ago I just did. I just did a parking
rant about parking.

Speaker 4 (57:12):
And the daylight thing that you did.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
I know that you've been thinking about. I was just
thinking that the other day.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
I was at the dentist downtown and I was looking
at a park and it was like, because it's downtown Italy,
is no know where to park. And I found a
place in Ace parking and they wouldn't let me do
the under ten hours plus thing, so they were going
to charge me thirty dollars to park, which is insane.
So obviously I would rather walk from Truelavista. So I

(57:39):
just kept circling and I was ten minutes late, so
I found a spot late. I was there ten minutes early.
There was just nowhere to park. So I just I
don't know what to do. Man, my painting, I'm not you.
I'm not going to pay thirty dollars. I mean that
in a nice way at all. This is about This
isn't about parking downtown, okay. This is about me taking

(58:00):
a stand for the amazing people of Balboa Park because
Balboa Park is about to get screwed and I am
not going to stand for it.

Speaker 2 (58:12):
So you're taking a stand for the people. Let me
get into it, babe.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Obviously I've been to Balboa Park a couple of times. Like,
it's not my thing. I don't I'm not a museum
space museum. I know it's there. I know it's there.

Speaker 2 (58:35):
It's crazy, that's crazy. I don't look at the art.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
It's just not my thing. But I do know. My
wife's pregnant. If you didn't know that, she's about six
and a half months long. And you know, when you
have a kid, what do you do?

Speaker 8 (58:51):
Lived I mean, person, I've been going there since I
was a little girl. So I am I know where
you're going with, I think, and I am.

Speaker 2 (58:58):
Obsessed with it.

Speaker 4 (58:59):
By the way, I'm all in thank you.

Speaker 2 (59:01):
I'm so bow Ball Park.

Speaker 11 (59:06):
You go with the kid because it's free parking, and
you you know, on Tuesdays some of the museums are free.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
My New York accents really coming up.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
We need to go to muse.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
Yeah, okay, by the fountain, Yeah, hang out a little
bit December nights.

Speaker 11 (59:24):
But what they're doing now, it's what they're doing now
courtesy of good old Todd Gloria, here we go. Because
of the budget shortfall that they're having, and because they
want to keep up on the park, they're going to
start charging you to park at bow Ball Park and
the Zoo pretty soon. So Sky, I know that you

(59:46):
are worried about the monstrosity of this hundred story building
that's going to go up in PB pretty soon.

Speaker 4 (59:52):
The tower, Todd, Yes, the tower.

Speaker 1 (59:55):
I'm more concerned about the parking at bal ball Park.
Now you're thinking, what's it gonna be.

Speaker 11 (01:00:00):
No, it's gonna be a three tier system to park
there five dollars, ten dollars and fifteen dollars otherwise you're
gonna be and the five dollars one you me walking
like fifteen miles to get to the park.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
Oh, this is fits.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
And then and then they say, well, you know, hey, whoa,
whoa whoa yeah, whoa. If you're a San Diego resident,
you get like forty percent off parking, but only on
the top tier, so you're still paying whatever forty percent
of fifteen is. You're still paying a ton of money.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
And it's obviously insane because we're getting to the point
where they're charging you for everything and it's becoming unlivable.
And this is why I say I'm for the people
Bawbo Park because I was reading up on this, yeah
and read I know it's really bad, it's not. And
they're implementing this around October, just in time for December nights.
I'm sure that won't be insane with the paying for parking,

(01:00:57):
which should be free.

Speaker 11 (01:00:58):
Could you get a little kid, you got a little kid,
little reedy walking around and maybe you're maybe your single
mom'm not making enough money. Baw Boll Park perfect place
to go. It's free.

Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
The city should cover it because that's the way it
should be. Because it's a it's a park, and now
you've got to pay fifteen dollars to park and just
walk around on top of already.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Paying for the museums.

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
By the way, so when they tell you, oh, this
is gonna help keep up the.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Park, well, I'm already paying for the museums. What's what
do you need more money for? Todd Emily was never
a single mom.

Speaker 8 (01:01:31):
I was never a single one, but I feel what
the sing akay okay?

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
So I started doing and I found out there's this guy,
Jamie Camacho and Jamie not that, not not not this
shame Jamie James. No, this Jamie is a Colombian artist,
and he makes it Yes, yeah, guy, you're Colombian.

Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
Look at the guy.

Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
Yeah, that's not a Colombian artist.

Speaker 9 (01:01:54):
Look at.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Drug.

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
And he makes a phenomenal point that I couldn't have
said better myself. Quote quote from NBC San Diego. If
you charge parking, people are not going to be enthusiastic
about seeing my art and spending money on it. First
of all, who wants to spend money on art?

Speaker 2 (01:02:18):
To begin with number two?

Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
I mean, he couldn't have said it better. You're screwing
over these people that go there. To try to make money,
food trucks, artists, beaters. I don't people that beat. I
don't know artists. They're gonna have to pay for parking.

(01:02:42):
And some days, you know, you make money, some days
you don't make money. So they're going to try to
do their job and lose money.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
But what Todd.

Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
Doesn't care, because you know, Todd's all about the backup.
I don't want to in those dollar bills.

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
I don't want to add on to this and onto
your crazy thoughts, but I have heard some stuff that's
not good about our friend.

Speaker 10 (01:03:03):
Talk.

Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
Now, don't throw anything.

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
You just threw you back.

Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Here's the thing, is that what is San Diego known
for and built for and all that stuff? Tourism? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
Absolutely, Why is.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
It that we as a city don't have a higher
hotel tax? If you know, you think right and you go,
why why would that? That doesn't make a lot of sense.
Like most big cities who are known for tourism have
pretty high hotel tax. For the people that don't live
here that come in, they're going to spend the money

(01:03:36):
for that. You want to know why why for the
the hotel people? They don't want that, they don't want
and they might be close ties with a certain someone,
and that's who gets screwed, the people who live here.
I don't know, though, I don't know. I'm I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Don't get me started on Gloria Moler.

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Who says that she's a photographer. Yeah, and like I
said a few minutes ago, she's gonna be going to
the park. She's gonna have to pay for parking, set
up everything, and then sometimes she may not make any money,
so she's losing money.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
We're at the point.

Speaker 11 (01:04:16):
Now where one day you're gonna turn on the news
and you're gonna see Jason Estelle and he's gonna say, Ohn,
you flip around, You flip around, Fine, and you're gonna
see many or Todd.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Gloria's proposing a new plan to pay for his budget,
because it's always about the budget, that's what they say.
We never have a money for the budget. And the
plan involves charging for air and get ready for this,
and every San Diego resident is allowed ten thousand free breaths,
but it's five cents after every break that and you
usually breathe about twenty five thousand breaths to day, So

(01:04:51):
this will help with the budget shortfall.

Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Oh, I guarantee, he's still we're near it. I don't.
We're here. It's a wild guarantee. You know. You try
on NBC.

Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
You're like, this can't be real, and you can. Glorio
is now saying San Diego is it could be charged
for steps. Everyone steps, Everyone gets eight thousand steps, and
every eight thousand they're over. It's an extra cent that
they're charged. And they're gonna have like a monitor on
you and you're gonna be walking around San Diego is
having on Liverpool. And even if you make six figures,

(01:05:29):
it's still hard to live here.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
What are we doing to our people? For the people?

Speaker 8 (01:05:34):
Yeah, I just want to say little Emily, the little
Emily inside of.

Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
Me is a single mom Emily or just little.

Speaker 8 (01:05:42):
Little girl Emily sitting there right by the Air and
Space Museum before a family got broken up.

Speaker 4 (01:05:49):
Mom and dad are there Tucky fried chicken.

Speaker 8 (01:05:52):
We'd get it and we'd head over to the parking
bucket for yep, we'd get a bucket of chicken with
some biscuits and we'd sit there watch the sunset buckets
as a family.

Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
And that little girl.

Speaker 8 (01:06:00):
Thanks you, That little girl with you.

Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
This is so sad and I'm watching the devastated by this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
This is my solution to.

Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
This well, and I don't want to add to the
crazy either.

Speaker 9 (01:06:17):
But you know that that Balboa Park was gifted to
the citizens of San Diego.

Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
So so we act research.

Speaker 9 (01:06:26):
We actually own it. And then they're now charging us
for something we owe.

Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Yeah, and you know what's next, right, you know what's next?

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Right? The zoo? Oh yeah, don't stop.

Speaker 8 (01:06:38):
Those moms that Can'tifordia thing, could barely afford to get
a season pass the zoo, which they scrape up money
for and then guess what the single moms again and guess.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
What, So they do that to take their kids to
the zoo.

Speaker 8 (01:06:48):
But the best part about it is you could pay
You don't have to pay for parking, free park.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
You can go all year around this.

Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
Right now, look in the camera, Todd's got an open
invitation to sit right where Jamie's sitting right now.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
It needs to happen.

Speaker 11 (01:07:06):
It needs stap and let's do it. Todd, come on
the show. Explain why you want to charge.

Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
Everyone and how how in fifteen years people are gonna
be able to live in San Diego because I don't
think it's gonna be able to happen.

Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
You're gonna run this by anybody. I mean, you said
an open and.

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
Come on the show, Todd, come on the show.

Speaker 9 (01:07:24):
Bud, like, well, little baby Walker even know what an
elephant is?

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
Who knows?

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
If we're going to be living here. You may have
to be a pajillionaire to live in San Diegollionaire, I
don't know. Next thing, you know, you're gonna charging to
wear clothes?

Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
What you're You're not making any sense. You're not making sense,
and I haven't said anything. Just get a room at
Tower Todde You'll be fine.

Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
That's definitely not that's definitely well. Thor is about to
have a baby, as we heard. Obviously having a kid
is an unforgettable life moment. But what else would you
say qualifies as an unforgettable life moment. Well, we're gonna
see what has been named as the top unforgettable life
moments out there when we get back on the show.

(01:08:11):
A Roqua five to three. That's Blink one eighty two
on the show, it's Rock one five to three. So
I gotta imagine this is different for everybody. But overall,
in general, you're gonna have some pretty unforgettable life moments.

(01:08:32):
Maybe it is your wedding day, maybe it is your
first kid or all of your kids, maybe have a favorite.
Well it depends on you know what's going on. But
there's all kinds of stuff out there. I guess that
could be an unforgettable life moment.

Speaker 8 (01:08:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:08:46):
They surveyed over two thousand adults asking them what are
the most unmissable, unforgettable moments in your life that you
will cherish and remember forever, and then they put together
the top ten most common answers.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
Yeah, because like what like for like, what if I
met Tom cruise? That'd be an unforgettable moment?

Speaker 12 (01:09:07):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
Absolutely?

Speaker 11 (01:09:08):
That's not everybody, no armist, Oh my god?

Speaker 4 (01:09:12):
Whoa running them together? Is that what you think?

Speaker 2 (01:09:16):
They are out and hold hands crazy. We don't need
to get into it. I got a lot of thoughts,
A lot of thoughts Tom and the relationships relationship, because
you just said we didn't when I don't think, what
do you?

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
What do you need to get into Tom sixty three?

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
I get it. He's Tom, I get I don't know
what the cruise.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
He's the biggest star in Hollywood, right, I mean still
after mission Impossible. I mean he's up there, right, maybe
not the biggest, but he's like you. I would say,
he's like the like the for the face of like
getting people back in the movie theaters. Right, he's like
all about going to the movie theaters anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Yeah, he's iconic.

Speaker 11 (01:09:56):
He's like Tom Cruise Impossible is big and the almost
thirty seven.

Speaker 1 (01:10:01):
He's sixty three. She is gorgeous, just incredibly hot. I
mean to me, this screams career move by Anna and
less about like a star.

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
But then why would she want to be with a
sixty three year old Tom Cruise. She could be with
any of these, like younger up and coming actors or
big actors like a Bradley Cooper or somebody like that.
Well why sixty three year It's just it's just odd
to me. And also, as much as I love Tom,
he's a little crazy. And I don't want to picture.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
My Anna being with a little crazy. Don't like that
should be crazy? Wow, Emily is into older men, Yeah
I am. And let's say you meet Tom Cruise and
Tom's a gentleman to you and super nice or whatever.
Of course, would you date Tom Cruise.

Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
Yes, absolutely, Am, No, I mean she's not Annade almost,
she's better.

Speaker 4 (01:10:59):
Thank you, she's better a little sweetie over there.

Speaker 6 (01:11:02):
So we got an argument about she's better than Adam.
Got crazy, you might need to make some points back. So, yes,
Emily is better than on the almost Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:11:19):
Saying that you shut it over there.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
Yeah, it's just unforgetable moment for you that I have
to be with Tom Cruise. Know that I just said
you're better than Adam.

Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Yes, both things.

Speaker 4 (01:11:31):
Are huge right now?

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
Wow, what.

Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
He's very but he's waiting Tom Tom Tom got like, Yeah,
he's ugly, he's like he's like leaning towards cat lady face.

Speaker 4 (01:11:45):
Yeah, he's like a chick with too much plastic.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
He doesn't look's like breast. Now he's in the older,
older actor who is still attractive, Brad Pitt. Yeah, he's
a golden standard. I can't even but I can't Clooney
Boney still attracted. Clooney's almost like seven.

Speaker 8 (01:12:07):
Army and he's super suave, like the moves out.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
I picked Clooney over Tom Cruise.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Yes, you're going out with them.

Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
Absolutely, he's old, but still he's got money and it
is George Clooney.

Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
I mean, well, I guess is right. I'm very disappointed.
I'm not disappointed and Anna, I'm just concerned that that
my sweet Anna isn't who I thought she was.

Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
Oh you're sweet Anna. It's very disappointing. Went down a notch.
She may not be my number one. That's the news coming.
You guys didn't Wow, I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know what I'm gonna do now.

Speaker 4 (01:12:52):
Well, I mean you are married with a wife. I
think your number one.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
Oh yeah, yeah, I know. I know we're talking fantasy,
so I don't so uncool. Yeah, and you know she
didn't do that to Emily. Emily were asking you about
George Clooney or whatever, Robert.

Speaker 9 (01:13:10):
Well, because you're asking her a direct question. Thor is
just like the.

Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
Different things, all right. So I'm sorry for your loss.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
I don't know who's going to replace her about Sid, Yeah,
everyone loves so you can't love her.

Speaker 11 (01:13:27):
I just no, no, no, I just feel as much
as I love her, I just feel like I need
I like I like the girl that not a lot
of people love.

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
I mean a lot of people love it. You're so weird. Listen,
we're not even talking about this. I really went in
a weird direction there.

Speaker 4 (01:13:46):
Yes, unforgettable moments.

Speaker 9 (01:13:48):
Yes, okay, So these were the top answers that people said.
Number ten, I don't want to start out this way,
but uh, being proposed to or your proposal moment lower.

Speaker 2 (01:14:00):
On the list should be nice or higher higher. Yeah,
it would be nice to have that I don't know recorded, Yeah, yeah,
it would be nice. And some sort of and said,
you have somebody who ruined the moment, friend.

Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
Who lives near you, who lives near the area to
record it for you. They don't record a good video.
They miss you getting on your knee, and then they
turn the camera off.

Speaker 2 (01:14:23):
That made it unforgettable, to be honest with.

Speaker 4 (01:14:25):
You, that's true. But a good thing.

Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
Because I watched it every once in a moment my anniversary.
Whenever I watch it, you always hope that's going to
end differently. Yeah, it's like a yeah, and you always
hope no, Like you watch the techanic, maybe this time
they won't hit the ice.

Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
I mean you think that.

Speaker 4 (01:14:43):
I actually think that a little bit too.

Speaker 8 (01:14:45):
Okay, I don't really think that, but there's like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
Yeah, he's always like make it this side.

Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
Over ahead and then they miss it from the south.

Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (01:15:01):
Number nine most unforgettable moment in our lives is being
told I love you by that person that you truly love.

Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
The first time you exchange those I love yous.

Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
Eddie, when you send a text, Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:15:14):
That's great, A drunk text. Well, she's in the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
I have no comment.

Speaker 4 (01:15:22):
I don't know if I remember that.

Speaker 9 (01:15:24):
Oh yeah, that's the first I love you between Eddie
and his wife. He was drunken and all hoped up love.
She goes to the bathroom and he loves the text.

Speaker 4 (01:15:35):
You did? Did she say it back?

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
No? She told me a few days later at O's Nice.

Speaker 4 (01:15:45):
This is true love. This is true love. I think,
nix wastic I thought.

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
You call it was great feeling.

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
You'll remember it forever.

Speaker 9 (01:15:57):
Number eight a memorable moment goes to driving a car
on your own for the first time, The first time
you're behind the wheel in a car by yourself.

Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
I remember the first time I got on the wheel
by myself. I do you do?

Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
Yeah, I got my license. I went to Hooters by yourself. No,
I met a bunch of buddies there you met people
and my dad.

Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Okay, celebration.

Speaker 9 (01:16:21):
Number seven moment is your child's first words when they
speak for the first time.

Speaker 8 (01:16:28):
No, I mean, I don't remember that, Emily remember that.
I don't know really, I think because they kind of
work it out for a while and then maybe oh
you did.

Speaker 4 (01:16:38):
Okay, you have to celebrate, really okay.

Speaker 9 (01:16:44):
Number six goes to falling in love for the first time,
the first time you fall in love. Number five most
cherished moment in life is your child's first day of school.

Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
Very memorable.

Speaker 2 (01:16:56):
Do you remember that day of school?

Speaker 8 (01:16:59):
Yeah, we've never got to be there, probably all of us. Yeah,
I never got to be there for I've always been
doing morning radio.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
Yeah geez yeah, yeah, I was grinding. What explains everything?
She was? I know what.

Speaker 6 (01:17:18):
Photos sent to men take the day off.

Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
And you know the worst part about it, she was
probably crying out of she's just the when she got
that wor just.

Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
It wouldn' let me have time.

Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
I mean, Jeff and did not need you. I'm sorry,
I'm sorry. Who was going to get their bagels? Jeff
needed to die coke go get it.

Speaker 4 (01:17:45):
I did have to get all the stake.

Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
I know, that's true. I know, coke guy.

Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
Four of those show four.

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
Like the Big Ones.

Speaker 4 (01:17:54):
To watch the bro Okay.

Speaker 9 (01:17:57):
Number four most memorable life moment is when you have
to say goodbye for the last time to a loved one.

Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
I'm forget about death moment seriously.

Speaker 9 (01:18:09):
Number three moment is holding the keys to your very
first home or apartment for that very first time.

Speaker 4 (01:18:16):
Oh my god, so true, so true.

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
That doesn't come.

Speaker 4 (01:18:23):
Past the tsunami.

Speaker 9 (01:18:25):
Number two most memorable moment is watching your baby take
their first steps.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
Okay, now think about this. To me, I thought it
was a no brainer. One and two one would be
your wedding day and or and or the birth of
your child. Yes, so one of those did not make
the top ten. That's your wedding day or the birth
of your child, just a heads up.

Speaker 9 (01:18:50):
Yes, so number two is the baby's yep, and number
one goes to holding your newborn baby the.

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
First wedding day.

Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
The proposals on there but the wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Wedding, so it wouldn't be in man, that's bizarre. So
those are unforgettable moments. But have you ever had a
mic drop moment? Nothing better, nothing better? Well, we're going
to see one of the top mic drop moments you've
had coming up next on the show A rock with
a five to three. That's the Chili Peppers on the

(01:19:35):
show It's Rock three. I know Emily and Thor will
agree with me on this. Guy doesn't really have arguments
with your husband, but when you win an argument against
your loved one, there is not a better feeling on
the planet. Like when they swear they're right and you
prove them wrong and and they have to kind of

(01:19:56):
admit that they're wrong. Them never fully admit the wrong,
but they kind of that they're wrong. Yeah, that's a
sweet one. I feel that feeling is like, oh yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:20:08):
They're swearing up and down and then you can get
your phone out or something and find a photo to
prove it or like google something or whatever, and you
know you're.

Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
Right and they know they're right and you are actually right.
That is one of the top life best mic drop
moments ever. Now there are other things out there, but
I'm just you know, if you're married, you know what
I'm talking about. Yescor sky S. Guy doesn't have a
normal relationship with her husband. They have their own language.

Speaker 7 (01:20:36):
And yeah, so yeah, so uh there are other little
mic drop moments that you'll have in life that are
kind of like little wins that you go through.

Speaker 2 (01:20:47):
You know, you can f.

Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
To me, ye will relate to this beating a guy
you don't like in your fantasy football nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
That's such a good feeling. Yeah, especially that guy's talking crap.

Speaker 11 (01:20:58):
Yeah, and you didn't and he just won't stop and
you beat them. That's a good feeling. You say something
really quick, oh but nothing crazy, but you.

Speaker 4 (01:21:11):
Just know you Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:21:15):
Well, they survey thousands of adults asking them what are
your little mini victories, your little mini mic drop moments
that no one else may notice, but inside you know
like you've won life.

Speaker 8 (01:21:29):
This happens to me kind of often, and when it does,
I get so excited for some reason. Whenever, like I'm
putting away dishes, are doing something in cabinets, things will
kind of drop out, and I have the ability like
I'll put my hand there and catch it in the
air and it doesn't hit the ground. I think's so
freaking satisfied. Wow, Like I'm clever.

Speaker 2 (01:21:49):
I'm with it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:51):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
You don't think it's the size of your hands.

Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
I don't think, Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
Eddie, this probably happened once and then it happened.

Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
Since you so the odd one of this happening and
her doing it all the time are very.

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
I swear dropping stuff out of your cabinet, move.

Speaker 8 (01:22:12):
Really fast, putting spices away the spice cabinet, and like
the garden always catch I swear to God, incredible reflexes.

Speaker 4 (01:22:18):
It's insane. Why would I bring this up?

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
What you do stuff like this all the time. It's incredible, true, incredible,
Wow like that like that.

Speaker 4 (01:22:32):
Okay, I'm ready for you be looking at you. No,
it is secretly something when you're not looking up.

Speaker 2 (01:22:41):
She didn't catch it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:42):
He didn't catch that.

Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
I mean you threw it on the ground.

Speaker 4 (01:22:45):
Oh he thinks he.

Speaker 1 (01:22:46):
Wo Okay, okay, so that's clearly what chance that happened.

Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
No one believe anybody believes it. So proud of herself.
Well coming in on the list catcher's bits right there.
Of course you have to catch every more like two
first basement gloves.

Speaker 4 (01:23:09):
That was bigger.

Speaker 2 (01:23:11):
Yeah, that's.

Speaker 12 (01:23:15):
So.

Speaker 9 (01:23:15):
These are what other people say, are those many mic
drop moments that make them feel inside like they've won.
When you throw something from a distance into a garbage
can and you nail, it is great.

Speaker 1 (01:23:27):
To listen I'm usually pretty awful, but I'm on a
solid streak right now. A few days in a row,
I mean, I started saying I'm pretty awful. I didn't
say I always do this. It's god, I said, a
few days in a row.

Speaker 2 (01:23:41):
This is really going to stick with her? Yeah, because
how many times did you question that she could catch
things out of her cabinets? Has really upset her?

Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
I would love to believe it, But how many times
I didn't say all the time?

Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
I said? Wow, you didn't actually say that. I thought
I said was out of ten? Know you didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:24:04):
Go ahead, Jamie, this is going to be a sweet
win right here, This will be a makes She pulled
what I said n times out of ten? Just pull
up the last two minutes because he didn't, because she
never said nine time a time?

Speaker 2 (01:24:16):
She said all the time?

Speaker 4 (01:24:17):
Wow, Wow, someone's gonna have one of the victories.

Speaker 2 (01:24:21):
Who's going to win this? Wow? Who's gonna win?

Speaker 8 (01:24:24):
She knows she's wrong. I did say O ten, Know
you did. I might have said it happens all the time,
but I said nine was out of ten? Okay, I'm
finding that all right, go to break all right?

Speaker 9 (01:24:34):
Another one of those little victories is when you're watching
a TV show or a movie and you figure out
the plot twist before anybody else does nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:24:42):
Her takes me more than when my wife Deborah thinks
she's figuring out and has to say.

Speaker 9 (01:24:47):
It in the middle of the show because you're so
proud of yourself and you're a detective.

Speaker 2 (01:24:51):
All the time, She's right, what are you? Okay? Thanks
for your opinion.

Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
My wife gets annoyed at me because, like if it's
an obvious thing to say it, and like there was
an episode of Stranger Things where eleven is in this
like whole thing and you find out like the bad
guy is one and it's obvious, and I turn to
where and go he's one, and she looks at me
like I'm the biggest moron on the raft, like obviously,

(01:25:18):
so now from from literally that was years ago, we'll
still go he's one.

Speaker 9 (01:25:24):
Another moment is when you untangle a knot in something,
whether it's like headphone chords, necklaces.

Speaker 1 (01:25:31):
Once you get necklaces, impossible unentangled, Yeah, like a pretty good.

Speaker 8 (01:25:36):
Nine times no, no, okay, maybe eight out of ten.

Speaker 2 (01:25:41):
With those fingers, you can't get it there. It's a
possible beating and stuff.

Speaker 9 (01:25:45):
Hey, when you parallel park to perfection, I mean the
first time in perfect yep, little win. When somebody throws
something at you quickly, Emily and you.

Speaker 4 (01:25:57):
Catch it, Yep, you feel like you threw it to
the I did not.

Speaker 8 (01:26:01):
You tossed it, skimmed the tables, threw.

Speaker 2 (01:26:09):
You missed it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:18):
Impressive right in between two.

Speaker 2 (01:26:25):
Incredible.

Speaker 9 (01:26:26):
When you open a very tight jar that other people
in the room, I've just done.

Speaker 2 (01:26:34):
Everything, sitting there struggling for like an hour, and I
will come over.

Speaker 4 (01:26:38):
Yeah, you feel like a Badassuh.

Speaker 9 (01:26:44):
When you get in the back of a grocery store
line and a checker pulls that.

Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
Is heaven. Yes.

Speaker 9 (01:26:50):
And the final mic drop moment where you feel like
you've won inside is when you're watching some sort of
game show Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and you go on
a run and you hit every answer.

Speaker 4 (01:27:01):
You feel like.

Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
Put in the category in Jeopardy says he has the tape.
Let's here if Emily said nine times out of I
mean you alright, let's hear it the size of your hands.
I don't think I mean the entire Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:27:16):
Also, Eddie, this probably happened once and then so the
odds of this happening and her doing it all the time.

Speaker 8 (01:27:27):
I swear to you, drop your cabinet, move really fast,
spices way a spice cabinet and like the Garda.

Speaker 2 (01:27:34):
I swear to God, incredible reflexes.

Speaker 4 (01:27:36):
It's insane.

Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
I swear to God.

Speaker 4 (01:27:39):
He wins, he wins. Wow, Mike draw.

Speaker 2 (01:27:45):
Wow, incredible, incredible. It still doesn't happen. I'm gonna start video, please,
I'm gonna run twenty four. Stop dropping, all right, listen,
we're about to be joined. Can you get it together?
Because Scott Staff from Creed is gonna join us when

(01:28:06):
we get back on the show on Rock on A
five to three. That's popa Roach on the show. It's
Rock one O five to three. Uh. So, we were
just talking about this yesterday that the hottest ticket in
town is Creed coming to town on August sixth. So
we're like a week away from Creed coming to town

(01:28:28):
playing the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater. We do have
tickets to give away, which we will do in just second,
but why not talk to the lead singer himself joining
us right now is, of course, the lead singer of Creed,
Scott stap How's it going, Scott, everyone, how you doing.
What's up my friend? So obviously we're pumped to talk

(01:28:50):
to you. But there's one guy in here that is
very excited. Of course. I'm referring to Thor, who you
guys talked to back a few years ago. On Thor
there's podcast that he did to your Sobriety podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:29:03):
Yes, Scott, I had you on my podcast called Silverhouse
back in May of twenty twenty. You were great, it
was great. How is everything going since then?

Speaker 10 (01:29:12):
Everything is good?

Speaker 12 (01:29:13):
Man.

Speaker 10 (01:29:14):
I think you can see the fruits of sobriety in
what's going on in my life, man, and just taking
it one day at a time, and God has build
grow and we're excited out here doing these shows and
rocking these fans and just grateful for the resurgence and
the rebirth and everything that lies ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:29:33):
It is incredible to see Scott. How you know, you
guys were such obviously a massive act and then now
here we are and you guys are as big as ever.
What do you equate that to?

Speaker 10 (01:29:48):
You know, it's a combination of a lot of things,
but I think the main thing is just it's starting
going viral online. During COVID Yeah, you know, people were
locked down and they were digging into into old, older
music and started making videos and sharing it with their kids.
And just one after the other, videos kept going viral

(01:30:11):
in twenty twenty, twenty twenty one, twenty two, and it
was like a tsunami. You know, the wave just started
to build and build them and it's just blowing our
minds to see the impact that that social media has
had on the resurgence of this band, without doubt.

Speaker 1 (01:30:28):
Yeah, and one of the videos that obviously goes viral
every year on Thanksgiving is your Wild Thanksgiving halftime shime Cowboys. Yeah,
and that goes viral every year. And my favorite My
wife loves you guys, massive Creed fans. She's going to
the show on next Wednesday and she loves that video.
What are your thoughts? Take me back to that video,

(01:30:48):
because that is a that's a wild performance you guys did.

Speaker 10 (01:30:53):
That's I mean, I mean, we get a kick out
of it from looking back at it. I mean, I mean,
to be honest with you, I mean, it was a
real income true for me to be invited to play
halftime to the Dallas Cowboys. I mean they were my
favorite football team since I was a little boy, and
so that was one of those bucket lists, uh, things

(01:31:14):
to check off, you know, to be able to be
involved with him for that experience. And then as far
as the production and everything that went with with you know,
we were a young brand and we were just excited
for the opportunity and we had no unfundment, uh and
and all that and and looking back, you know, there's
a lot of humor in it, you know, with the
guy frond sure off, the ballheaded guy and all the

(01:31:36):
other crazy stuff. But you know, I Kick came at
a really a really important time, uh in in our country.
You know, I'm believing it was right after nine to eleven,
and uh, you know, it just connected with people, you know,
it was it was. It was just so American. And

(01:31:56):
I was grateful and the band's grateful to be for
that moment and for it to keep researching and live
on living. Yeah everything everything that's great and you know,
hopefully the Super bowls.

Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
Netst sign me up, yeah all in Yeah, it's it's
a pretty amazing Scott. Uh, My daughter's sixteen, and she
came to me pretty recently and is like asking me
about artists that she considers like you know, older artists.
She's like, dad, have you ever heard of this band
called three one one? And like three one one you

(01:32:30):
mean three eleven? Or have you ever heard of the
Smashing Pumpkins? And then she asked me, have you ever
heard of Creed? Have I ever heard of Creed? I
played Creed music, you know, when there was originally out,
Like I mean, so it's pretty wild that you are
now like the new generation is discovering you guys. You
were talking about that a little bit earlier, but I
mean we're seeing like young kids like discovering Creed.

Speaker 10 (01:32:53):
Yeah, it's so cool to see and they're discovering they're
discovering it. It's you know, we're a brand new band, righty.

Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
Like they figured out Creta totally.

Speaker 10 (01:33:03):
And you know, I noticed this with my daughter over
the last four years. She's a musician, and I'd go
up to check on her and I'd walk in her
room and she's got her guitar out and she's jamming
Nirvana riss or playing old sound Garden. And I had
no idea that she was even you know, digging into
that music. And so I think there's been a wave

(01:33:25):
of bit and to see our fans, you know, the
young fans. I mean, we're selling eighty percent of our
tickets to fans I think between the ages of eighteen
and thirty.

Speaker 4 (01:33:35):
Oh wow.

Speaker 10 (01:33:37):
And so we're starting to see, you know, even the
younger kids, the high school kids. And the same thing's
going on with my solo, my solo band, my new
solo record. When I do solo shows, the audience is
so young and they know all the songs and it's
just exciting to see. And again, I have nothing but

(01:33:57):
a grateful heart for all of it, because it such
an anomaly and it's so rare, and we're just enjoying ride,
you know, from a different perspective this time than we
did back in the day.

Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
Yeah. And it's higher power, right, that's what it's called.

Speaker 10 (01:34:11):
It's out right now, right, yeah, yeah, higher powers out
right now. I got the new single at radio called
dead Man's Trigger.

Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
There you go.

Speaker 10 (01:34:19):
And I'm just just dropping a new short film that
I made for the song I've got. The teasers have
gone up the last three days, and the short film
drops tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:34:31):
That's fantastic. I'd love to hear it. Scott, this is
great man. Yeah, congratulations on everything.

Speaker 9 (01:34:38):
Yeah, now Scott having a younger daughter, like you said,
and you know we were talking, we have teens in
our house too, who again are coming to us being
like have you ever heard of Creed? Do you go
to your daughter and now ask her because your fan
base is of that age, Now like what do you think?

Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
Do you like this?

Speaker 9 (01:34:56):
Are you kind of is TikTok all about it? Are
you using her a sounding board?

Speaker 10 (01:35:01):
Now? You know what? I've bounced music off my daughter.
She's so musable. She's been playing piano since she was four.
She plays me the guitar, she plays drums, she records
and tracks her own music and produces her own music.
And so I've been bouncing songs off her, uh man

(01:35:23):
since she was probably ten or eleven years old. That's
a and uh And I really value her opinion, uh
and her instincts and her insight. You know, she should
be like dad, the bridge kind of drops there. I
think you need to go back and.

Speaker 12 (01:35:37):
Work on.

Speaker 10 (01:35:39):
Thank you and uh and and you know, and and
she's got great insight and great musical instincts and so yeah,
it's it's been an exciting bond of connection that I.

Speaker 12 (01:35:49):
Have with her.

Speaker 2 (01:35:50):
It is crazy how a lot of you know, these
great artists, their kids can have that same talent. Yeah,
like Chris Cornell's daughter and Dave Grohl's daughter, Yeah, and
Van Halen's son, like they Apple, I guess doesn't fall
that far from the tree, you know.

Speaker 10 (01:36:08):
So Who's fifteen, Milan's eighteen, Daniel's fifteen. And Daniel got
the artistic bug in terms of acting. You know, he's
made three or four films and fifty five episode TV
series and he also can sing. He got the voice
and the family, but he's wanting to act right now.
And then my youngest, uh, Anthony, who's Who's seven, he's

(01:36:32):
got the bug too. He can sing and he loves music.
So I guess it is in the gene that's gotta be, yeah, Scott,
And I guess, and I guess being around it, you know,
kind of tourists, and since you're young, it just becomes
your normal, and I think it just seeps into.

Speaker 1 (01:36:49):
You now, Scott, that we talked earlier, I mentioned how
you're sober. You're on my podcast a few years ago, Uh,
touring sober. I got to ask you about that because
it's got to be tough. Like one of my favorite
artists is eminem and the guy doesn't tour ever, and
he's been sober a long time and he never tours.
I don't know if it's a sobriety thing. He doesn't
want to do it. How does it go for you?
Because you're on a lot of tours right now, you're
doing cruises. How do you maintain that sobriety while you're

(01:37:10):
sober while you're on tour?

Speaker 10 (01:37:12):
So well, you know, I kind of keep myself in
a bubble, and you know, it's just it's not the
lifestyle that I live. A very healthy lifestyle, exercise, diet,
very very disciplined lifestyle. It's just something that I'm not
involved in. I mean, it doesn't bother me that other

(01:37:33):
people are having a good time having drinks and doing
their thing. It's just something that I don't do, you know.
I mean, I've learned my lesson quite a few times
at gat rock Bottom quite a few times. And I
like to make the joke that I'm so allergic to alcohol.
Every time I drink it, I break out and I'm
tufts and end up on the six and people think

(01:37:55):
I'm kidding, like Google, you know, So so for me, man,
it's just a decision. It's just a lifestyle change that's great.
And uh, you know, it took a while to get there,
but you know, once you get there and that decision,
it gets easier every day and then it's just something
that you just don't do. And so you're you know,

(01:38:17):
basically you're a free man. You know, you could be
around anything, but it's just something that you don't do.
So I don't find touring a problem at all or
you know, going out being around people that are that
are living that lifestyle. It's just something I don't do.

Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
Him, man, brother, that's great.

Speaker 12 (01:38:33):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:38:33):
Well, we are pumped for next week, man, can't wait
to see you at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater seeing
Creed live. It's going to be awesome. Thanks for your
time this morning, Scott. We really appreciate that. Man.

Speaker 10 (01:38:45):
Yeah, thank you guys so much. We look forward to it.
Hope to meet you at the show.

Speaker 2 (01:38:49):
Absolutely. There you go. Thanks, there you go, Scott Stap
from Creed and yes we have tickets all right now.
Seven O five three will hook you up with a
pair of Creed tickets. The Padres have definitely found their
stroke man scoring runs again, which is great. We're gonna
see if that continued yesterday against the Mets. Next to
sports Dirt, I really think Emily's fandom of the Padres

(01:39:18):
should be studied, studied. It's pretty wild, like mental health professionals,
sports people like who all of them? All of them? Needle? Okay,
Monday morning, we're coming off two wins Padres, a couple
of wins in a row. I asked her, you know
you feeling. She was, Oh, they're playing good. She was
very subdued, and I was like, oh, that made me feel,

(01:39:41):
you know, like a little poopy like like I was pumped,
you know. And then they had their big walk off
win against the Mets on Monday night. She came in
here shot out of a Canada, like she was pumped
for that win. And then now yesterday, another big game
for the Padres, and she is in another les. She

(01:40:06):
is on cloud man right now.

Speaker 8 (01:40:08):
Yeah, Monday I was happy, don't get me wrong, but
I was tempering myself so that I don't get let
down because this highs and lows are really doing a
number on me, I'll tell you.

Speaker 4 (01:40:17):
And then Monday night, I mean cloud nine.

Speaker 2 (01:40:20):
We're here, we go.

Speaker 8 (01:40:21):
You were firing me now we got the momentum going
the bottom of the light up sitting.

Speaker 2 (01:40:26):
I'm pumped. Wow, so thank you. Yesterday at another crazy game.
Things are actually pretty tight between the Padres and Mets
for a lot of the game. It was one one
until the sixth inning when Jackson Merrill hit an RBI
triple to put them ahead two to one, and then
the Padres really opened things up with a five run

(01:40:46):
seventh inning, including a three run home run by Manny
Machado to put the game away, and they won it
seven to one.

Speaker 4 (01:40:53):
Oh so great. I was so pumped less.

Speaker 2 (01:40:55):
Let's do it again today. Yes, Wad Soda did leave
the game in the fourth inning after he fouled a
ball off his foot. Look pretty paint for.

Speaker 1 (01:41:06):
You, Emily, not pumped at all.

Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
You're talking about. I'm pretty sure he won't be in
the line of today. So oh dark. Yes, the Padres
are going to go for the sweep in a day
game today. Headed down there after this.

Speaker 8 (01:41:21):
I was speaking about it, to be honest, if I get.

Speaker 2 (01:41:24):
Some tickets, maybe cares man, she's on a high. Yeah,
you can't do it. The San Diego FC played their
first international competition game as they opened its league Cup
campaign with a close three to two loss to CF

(01:41:44):
I have no idea all right, snap dragging last night.
It was the first of three Phase one group stage matches.
I don't know the words that I'm saying. I'm just saying.
So the Playgugain on Friday.

Speaker 4 (01:42:01):
Sound like you know, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (01:42:02):
This is what I do. I'm a soccer expert. The
new Madden game has released It's nine to nine Club,
which is the players with the highest rating you could get.
The cover man himself, Sae Kwon Barkle, is a ninety
nine er nine and nine plays Eagles.

Speaker 11 (01:42:25):
No him in their two rings can go over there their.

Speaker 2 (01:42:29):
Four ringsday this guy. Look at this guy. Quarterbacks Josh
Allen and Lamar Jackson, wide receivers Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson,
left tackle Lane Johnson, and defensive end Miles Garrett. We're
all in the ninety nine club. So there you go.
That is a sports dirt for today. If you have

(01:42:50):
a hot girlfriend, congratulations. It could be great, but it
can also be tough a little bit. She's gonna get
hit on. How do you handle that? Well, We're gonna
see what one guy is asking about his smoke show girlfriend,
when we get back on the show at rock with
a five three range against the machine on the show,

(01:43:12):
it's Rock one oh five three. So Sky, Emily, you
both are very independent ladies can handle your business.

Speaker 11 (01:43:20):
Ye.

Speaker 2 (01:43:20):
But Emily, I'm pretty sure you've said before that you
kind of find it a little hot if your man
kind of sticks up for you a little bit, Like
if you're getting hit on, you're obviously gonna handle it. Yeah,
but if your man sort of steps in and handles
it himself, you do find that a little hot, right?
I do? I do.

Speaker 8 (01:43:38):
I want to feel like kind of like protected, also
like he understands that, like he needs to like get
in there and not let this guy get at me.

Speaker 4 (01:43:45):
I like that feeling.

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
Sky couldn't be more opposite. You are the complete opposite,
where you are almost repelled by that sort of a thing. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:43:56):
I can take care of my own business, you know,
I feel I mean, I feel when.

Speaker 2 (01:44:04):
Like but she's not gonna say anything going home with
the guy, She's not gonna say anything.

Speaker 9 (01:44:09):
But yeah, twenty five years later, still married, Okay, No, Yeah,
Like I'm I'm an adult. I can take care of my.

Speaker 2 (01:44:18):
Right right vocal.

Speaker 9 (01:44:20):
But here's where we differ, Like I you find it
hot a guy getting in there standing up for you
for me, I feel like that leads to trouble. Okay,
here we go. We're kicking up the testosterone. Now the
two of you are gonna make it about the two
of you, and I'm just gonna be like, what.

Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
So you don't feel any sort of rage inside of
you if you saw a woman hitting on your man?
So here's I feel it?

Speaker 4 (01:44:49):
After just mention.

Speaker 1 (01:44:50):
I mean, it's not really that guy, say a long
time ago, she wants to watch him another woman. No,
that's not she said, that's a fact.

Speaker 2 (01:45:00):
That's why.

Speaker 9 (01:45:03):
No, that's not why. Like if I'm in a situation
where I'm handling it and then it's getting out of control,
like the guy's not listening, Yeah, then okay, I would
be thankful for somebody stepping up and intervening, but just
right out of the gate.

Speaker 2 (01:45:21):
Like, but but I asked you a specific question. Do
you feel any sort of rage if you see a
woman hitting on your man? He's handling it, but you
don't feel like inside like, oh.

Speaker 4 (01:45:33):
No not if he's handling it doesn't bother you.

Speaker 9 (01:45:36):
No, if he's like if he's like feeding into it
or loving it, or she's not yeah, or if she's
not getting the hint, then okay, there's gonna be something
the word like.

Speaker 1 (01:45:49):
Situation. What if you're handling it, but he the guy's
not getting the hint.

Speaker 9 (01:45:54):
So that's what I said, Like if it, if it
escalates and gets to a point where some guy's not
getting the hint, then okay, you know now now I
need backup. But until I need backup, let me handle does.

Speaker 1 (01:46:05):
Your husband is the backup? Your husband coming up and
you're like, dude, you don't know what you're getting into.

Speaker 9 (01:46:09):
Okay, I don't think that's run.

Speaker 1 (01:46:14):
I don't trust me, you don't want any of it.

Speaker 2 (01:46:22):
Well, there is a guy, I guess is asking a question.
He's got a very hot girlfriend and when they go out,
she gets hit on like a lot and not sure
how to handle it.

Speaker 4 (01:46:34):
So he gets it that she isn't.

Speaker 2 (01:46:37):
I don't know if i'd say that, but yes, he.

Speaker 9 (01:46:42):
Says, he gets she's out of his league. She's gorgeous,
he's lucky every day that she is with him.

Speaker 4 (01:46:49):
But he does say.

Speaker 9 (01:46:50):
When they go out, it's like he's invisible to other dudes.
It's literally like she is out solo and guys in
front of him will hit on her. Now, he says,
like there's been many times where he they're at dinner,
he goes to the bathroom and comes back a dude
from another tables talking to her.

Speaker 4 (01:47:08):
But he also says that.

Speaker 9 (01:47:10):
Like like every waiter, every bartender will openly flirt with
her in front of him.

Speaker 2 (01:47:16):
Totally is this guy.

Speaker 9 (01:47:22):
He says, she always handles it with grace and lots
of times even afterwards she apologizes to him like I'm sorry,
I know that.

Speaker 4 (01:47:31):
Well, that was awkward. I'm sorry, blah blah blah.

Speaker 9 (01:47:33):
But now he's starting to feel weird and kind of
small about it. He says he's trying not to let
it show, but now he's wondering, should I be doing
more in these situations? Should I be saying something? Should
I be like, dude, we're on a date right now?
Or should he just continue to stay out of it.

Speaker 2 (01:47:51):
It would be so wild to me to not say
do you not see me right here? Like like hello,
we're together and you're coming up and hitting on my girlfriend.
Are you out of your mind? Yeah? I mean I
I could not not do that. It's like that'd be crazy.
You know, I'm sitting right here. I get it. Like,

(01:48:12):
if I'm away and she's getting hit on, what am
I gonna do?

Speaker 8 (01:48:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:48:15):
Okay, you handled it great. But if I'm standing right
there with her, I'm just gonna sit back and just
be quiet.

Speaker 9 (01:48:22):
Like you come back from the bathroom and a guy
is at the table talking to your girl. He saw
you were sitting there before you left, Like, are you
Are you saying something in that scenario?

Speaker 2 (01:48:30):
Absolutely? Of course? Can I help?

Speaker 4 (01:48:33):
Can I help you with something? You need something?

Speaker 2 (01:48:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:48:35):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:48:36):
Oh yeah, smoke, I know you know what I do. Everything.

Speaker 1 (01:48:45):
Okay, big guy?

Speaker 5 (01:48:47):
Why okay, Christian Wilkins, kiss on the forehead, Kiss on
the forehead, like you make him feel very like small Okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:48:59):
I beat it.

Speaker 9 (01:49:00):
Okay, but like, but he just kind of needs to
just kind of say, hey.

Speaker 2 (01:49:04):
Are you bringing my appetizer over? If not, don't get
the hell out of here. Okay, Hey, hey, it's two
for Tuesday. Hit the kitchen. That's wait, You're gonna lose her, dude,
It's crazy.

Speaker 10 (01:49:19):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:49:20):
Coming up tomorrow, it is a Throwback Thursday, so we'll
be playing throwback Trivia plus Emily says she wants to
do something here at work and it seems a little strange.
I don't know how this is gonna go over. We're
gonna see what it is she wants to do. Plus
more Creed tickets all tomorrow
