Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oil boy. Listen, I don't. It's not a purposeful thing,
or we don't intentionally take Emily's recommendations.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
It's not. It seems it seems like I.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Know, but it's not. I'm telling you, it seems like
I don't know why. This just seems to happen where
Emily will give recommendations and we never take them. We
ain't done yet. It's time for the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yet, completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
The show's after show starts now. Now, I will say
this is partially Emily's fault.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Why partially my?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Well? Number one, she gets kind of suckered in giving recommendations,
and I try to tell her she does. If you
hit on something that Emily really wants talk about, she'll
give you her recommendations. But it's tricky when it comes
to certain things. So her and I have had an issue,
ongoing issue, yes, about Emily recommending TV shows and series

(01:12):
and things like that, and I'd never take them. And
then unfortunately, you know, somebody else may recommend something and
I immediately go, oh, I'm gonna check that out. That
is happening. I can't tell you, and I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
It's so effective because we like, like I love mostly Yes,
I agree, I understand. You go you like the Marvel
and the Star Wars stuff. I don't you know, you
don't like my silly goofy you know, terrible movies, chick
shit that I watch her terrible movies.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I get that.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, trust certain things that we do relate on, like
true crime. So some of the series that we've been
obsessed with.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
If you recommended a true crime real life series to me,
I would watch it. And if it's something I've never
seen before, I would watch it. But you like to
recommend like these goofy dramas that are kind of true crimey.
But I mean, I'm it's not normally my back.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
But they're like you liked True Detective and those are
like scripted and you're good. And I've liked good things
that have gotten like award nominated.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
He's the one with Sophia Vergara that you wanted me to.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Watch, Griselda.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
No, I'm not going to watch it. Watch it that
got a little walky. I really want to do. So
these are the things that I'm like, she wants me
to watch, and I go, I just don't. I don't know.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. So, yes, we've had this issue
in the past. Well, this has happened before as well.
If Thor wants to go out to dinner, he will

(02:32):
normally ask Emily.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Yeah first, because she's miss San Diego.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, she'll go. He'll go, Hey, recommend like a good
restaurant for us to go check.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Out, and he'll normally like give her like parameters, like
a Saturday night, we want to watch the sunset somewhere
in the beach area.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Go yeah, and then she'll be like.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
You'll see her like light up, like giddy today.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I get so excited for the assignment.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
And then she usually gives me a restaurant and goes,
this herea's really hot right now. There's restaurants really hot
right now. My mom my mom told me about it.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Oh so yeah, so this this has happened in the past.
Oh yeah. And I don't know why it is, but
Thor doesn't ever really take the recommendation. He'll go out
on his own and find something else. And I don't
understand why Emily continues to get excited about it.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Well, and I have to say, I get so excited
about it. I spend like two hours looking for things.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I give you something to do, let me A couple
of the restaurants she'll recommend are booked because I wait
for the last second. Yeah, so that's why sometimes enough,
because I'll go to the restaurant, well, this is great,
and I'll go and there's nothing.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
There's no reservation.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
So that's that's my fault. So it's not like I
don't try. I don't just immediately say, you know, I
just a couple. Most of the time, a couple of
restaurants are booked, and then I keep googling.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
That is true. But then there are restaurants where Emily
will recommending and go, yeah, I don't want to be question.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Greek restaurant on me that I don't want to go to,
and she's been trying to get me to eat there.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I don't like Kebobs.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
How many times I tell you, I don't like fucking
Disneyland Right in there, it's so fucking cool, the ceilings
covered with jars and blinking like rivers.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
But I'm assuming they have more than just He gets confused, Okay,
I don't.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I just don't like. I don't like. I don't like
my food on like a plenty stick.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
You can take it off the stick. I don't.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
I don't want to. I just don't like I said.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Then he says that about it's about Leila, right, and
I go, I go, it's good.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I go.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
It's about the it's about the ambiance.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Not for me, it's about food. So this is what's
going going on for two hours. Emily will say something
doesn't like, I don't go for the food.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
You can't give me both, and occasionally Thor will like
then tap me in because like, oh the beach area sky.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
And she's always eaten out.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
And I'll give.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Him like one or two places, but he shoots down
the second place.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
I'm tapping out.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Emily's like on place twelve and keeps coming with more.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Recommend way more than twelve. Just give up on him already.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
He's not gonna take your recommendation.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
But I take it. It's not like I never take
advice though, I'm just looking for ida, is he? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
So, uh this has been going on for two hours hours,
and Emily is getting very angry and very frustrated, to
the point of where she finally leaves the room. She
did finally leave and so uh so where We're sitting
there and he goes, you know Italians, it sounds really good.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Well, no, I remember, I asked my wife, yes, what
kind of because I'm trying to surprise her. We haven't
had sex like two and a half months because excuse me,
yeah we have. We've had some things. Some have some
health issues going up.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I've been there, brother, so oh sorry the brother.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
So I'm trying to I'm trying to reignct the flame here, okay, and.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
So it was like, what do you want to eat?
And she says something yummy because I said and then
she says something foody Italian. Then I just said, okay,
I guess we'll go Italian. Yeah, so that's how I became.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
So you said that to me and you were out
of the room, and I said, oh, and then light
bulb went off and I said, you know, I ate
a really good restaurant down in Little Lily and I
told him about it. I said, well, I ate this
one restaurant. It's really good. Told him about it and
he goes, you know what, that sounds great and I
went holy shit, yeah, holy shit. I always said one

(06:37):
place it's like Da Vinci code yea.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Honestly, the first time I believe you even.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Spoke getting involved getting involved in that, Are you fucking crazy?
The first sentence you spoke and thora's all in, and
I went, oh, no, Emily has been recommending fifty different restaurants.
None of them took. I said one, what he's in, I.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Don't know what.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
She really threw me off with Layla or whatever it's.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
It doesn't like cops. Remember the place I recommend it
doesn't have kebobs, so uh, yeah, I fucking got really scared. Yeah,
and I went Emily came walking in and started to
stand another restaurant, and Thor goes, I think I got.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
It, And I went off because I because I don't
know who the anger is going to be directed to.
Is she mad at Eddie because Thor has taken Eddie's recommendation,
or is she mad at Thor because he doesn't take.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Her She's at the world, the world, she's look at Oh,
she by the world. Yeah, I don't know. I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
She was like searching places.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
She spent two hours. I greatly it was kind of
like a.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Little shady left. But throughout the two hours, legit, this
ain't no fucking line it was two hours that this
is going on. Eddie's sitting there with like a like
a look on his face, like like you did. Like
he didn't say it, but he had this look at it,
like did this to yourself every time I get shot down?
Like this guy's right, EDDI didn't say a word for

(08:08):
the whole time.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I mean, I'm looking at what's happening. I don't want
to be that, and.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Then I leave behind my back. This guy over here
recommends a restaurant, then.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I been you, so do you? So there's your choice.
It could be your recommend if.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
You if you've been there, Why didn't you recommend it?

Speaker 2 (08:24):

new places.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
No, you're not something yummy?

Speaker 3 (08:31):
