Speaker 1 (00:01):
You know, I gotta tell you, I think Emily lives
with a wild man, do you think?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (00:05):
Yeah, I hear these stories, and you know, some of
the times it may be what it maybe don't just
say it somebody else.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
I mean, really, the guy, your man, Robert, he's got
a tough sometimes.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
I mean last night at the Padre's game, just eating
fruit and Emily's looking at him like he's a fucking
idiot eating fruit, and I came.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
To his defense.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Yeah, I go the guys fifty four six six. It
looks phenomenal, and I go.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
You think he gets his body shoving shit down his throat.
He's eating fruit. You should be happy about this.
Speaker 5 (00:41):
It's just a little overboard over the fruit play was fine,
and then you get a second one, maybe a third one.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
Nobody said that when you're on your No one said
that when you're on your eighth beer.
Speaker 5 (00:52):
Okay nine.
Speaker 6 (00:55):
It was a wild from a distance watching Robert try
to get grapes off the fruit plate with tiny tongs
and watching the frustration build to the point where he
then just grabs all the grapes and throws him on
his plate. That was that was fun to watch.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Did you call him an asshole.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
We were all standing there talking and then there was
like a break for a second and Emily goes, do
you really need that much fruit?
Speaker 4 (01:21):
As if she bought it the Padres supplied it.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
The thing's gonna annoy her crazy. So those are the
times when I go, Okay, Emily, it's might be an
Emily problem. Disagree, But then I hear things and I
just go, what is that guy doing?
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Like this is a true wild man.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
We ain't done yet.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
It's time for the one podcast over a.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
Year, completely uncensored and uncting filtered except for that part
the show's after show starts.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Now you're you shared your stories about Robert in the airport.
I couldn't handle that. That is like traveling with the
top throw.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
Yeah, one hundred's exactly. That's a great way to put it.
It's like traveling with Toddler. Even my son Reid knows
better and does better at the airport than him.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well, that's the thing is that you guys have taken
multiple trips. It's not like the first time he's ever
flown before, not at all again, but every time you
go through security, it's like the first time.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
I get every time, every time he doesn't remember that
he can't wear his shoes, so he has to walk through. Sir,
you got to remove your shoes. I'm through it, and
I look back, like you still got your shoes on.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
The belt.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
The belt. So he's always surprised about the belt. I mean,
that's always an absolute nightmare him. Him figuring out the
bins and what to put in each bin. That's a
puzzle for him.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
I can't walk through with my phone.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
You can't walk through.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
No, he can't. So I mean I just that stuff
like I told you guys about and then of course
we have the now will probably remain infamous story about
how he walked away from the bags and didn't.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
That really bothered you?
Speaker 5 (03:01):
And then you didn't know that you can't leave you
And I'm the bitch for pointing out I'm crazy, like
like I'm overreacting, like like not not everybody knows that
like that that that this you know what I mean,
this is a knowledge.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
I mean literally, there's announcements going on NonStop, and there's
signs all over the airport do not leave your bags
unattended well, and.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
In general it would just like be in a shopping
mall and you have bags full of ship and you
just put it down and walk away.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
I mean, that's what's safe. People are going to.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Take things besides the bomb threat. Yes, yes, I don't
want my stuff stolen.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Thank you?
Speaker 6 (03:35):
Like would you ever put all your belongings down?
Speaker 4 (03:37):
And one it's a wild thing to do.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Here's a gift for everyone.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Enjoy.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
We were we were talking about yes yesterday, me and
Robert and we were having a good laugh about it.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
The guy's a good tent recognizes it. I feel like
I brought it up and he recognizes. He Oh, Emily,
she doesn't take himself so seriously like somebody over there,
somebody there, I.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
Mean, but it's it's it's saying when he turns it
around to me, like I'm the fucking bitch.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Well, here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
I think if it was a lone incident, maybe you
could look past it. But when it's an incident like
number seven thousand and four and twelve in a row,
and maybe that's why you're sensitive to it.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Yeah, I would think so. I would assume that that's
why these like I'm always at the like, very close
to the boiling point with him, because it's so often
that these things occur.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Would you say, you're past the boiling point?
Speaker 5 (04:32):
Im boiler over?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yeah, bubbling.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
So there was another incident didn't have that did happen
while these fine folk were in Hawaii.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
That you know, it's better that she does staycations, that
they don't travel.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Maybe there's you know, it's easier, there is less incident
driving down the eight to go to the bay and
stay a hotel. Then probably is a lot less incident.
Speaker 7 (04:57):
There's still incidents, of course, there's less is less, right, Yeah,
this one occurred after our long day of travel on
the way to Hawaii, and so you know incidents that occurred.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
I was already you know, frustrated with Robert. We were
all tired, we were all angry. All these things happened.
So this wasn't a good time for this to happen.
But it's still fucking crazy. So we we go to
the car dealership and it was a very budget car dealership.
I didn't realize at the time, but it wasn't like.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
You know, there was a car dealership.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
And it was just dawn on me. It wasn't budget
or enterprise or any of those. It was like the
low end.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yeah, remember we were talking again earlier about what Emily
spends money on, it doesn't spend money on where she cheap.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
Yeah, yeah, and this place looked pretty yank, pretty jaky,
like on their easy ups where the guys are detailing,
they were all ripped and stuff. I mean, it was
looked it looked very nice.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
A Lemon rent a car.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Basically got a screaming deal though, a screaming deal twenty
five for the week. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
So anyway, we're going around in the ninety two Civic.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Great basically it does. It was like it was didn't
not feel that safe to drive around, to be honest. Okay,
So anyway, but I'm standing in the line, and it
was a long line because they had to take us
into a shuttle, so everybody gets off the shuttle at
the same time. So it's a long line and they're
taking forever like Hawaii time. But also you know this
budget place, and we're waiting in line, and I told
(06:22):
Robert and my son Read the twins please just leave
me alone. I need I need space for you guys,
because they were starting to linger with me in the line,
and then they were starting Robert tapped Read and then
retapped Robert back and then they're starting to bicker and
argue like two little kids. So in that point, I'm like, separate,
go outside. But it was too hot outside, I guess,
(06:42):
so they kept coming in. It was that was annoying me,
and so I'm like, just leave me be, leave me be,
and so sound it.
Speaker 6 (06:51):
Doesn't sound like kicking off your vacation.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Really it really wasn't. And so that's happening, and so
then I send them away. And that's when there was
a vending mission in this small, little like rental car
room about the size of our studio, and it's an
older looking vending machine, and I see Robert and Reid
go over there. Robert goes, do you need something to drink?
And I said no because I already had my water
(07:14):
bottle on my backpack, so I was good for a drink.
And so he goes, Okay, me and Read are going
to get a drink.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Who else feels like she was annoyed that he asked
her he was being a nice guy, and she was
clear like, no, I don't need a drink.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
I give me along one hundred percent. I just asked
you to.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Be nice.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Fuck getting out of this place, so please, So I go, no,
I'm good, thanks, and so he goes over with Reid
and it's just they're just funny to watch because they
just both look. You guys have seen him move around,
follows Robert around, Robert falls read around. It's just they're
over at the vending machine and Robert puts his money
in and Robert I told Robert before the trip to
get some cash out because it's nice have cash when
(07:50):
you're traveling for tips and stuff like that. And so
Robert goes to get his cash out and he's getting
a drink, fine, gets some self one drops down, gets
read one down. But that's when I see that they're
confused about something. They're confused about something, and they're hitting
like now they're like kind of part hitting bums on
the machine and the out all this stuff. And that's
(08:13):
when they start getting louder and they're making a scene.
And I look over at them and because I'm not
very far, and I'm like for me to you any
like five feet away, six feet away, and I go,
what's going on? What are you guys doing? Like, why shit,
what are you guys doing? Stop making a scene. And
Robert goes, oh, I can't get any change out, and
I go, well, what'd you put in there? And he goes,
(08:35):
I put a twenty in there? You put? I look
at him?
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Why would he do that? I don't know how to defend.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
And an old school vending dollar water like the water bottles,
the little like safe with like Costco water bottles, the
little ones, they're only like a dollar twenty five each
in the vending machine. I go, you put a twenty
in the fucking vending machine. There's no like even in
new vending machines. I don't think they ever do bill return.
It's always chan, always changed.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
And most of them are like car, you just tap
your car.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
One hundred percent, And I think I might have even
seen that. Actually, to be honest, I was fancing at it.
So it's not vending any change back, And I go,
but you knew that also, you were going to get
about seventeen dollars.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
With the quarters.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
Yeah, like, what are we doing here? We don't need
the like are we're going to walk around traveling with
seventeen dollars with laun Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Or make some phone calls out a payphone. Oh yeah,
that's a good place.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Parking meters.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
I don't think so and so that's when they're trying. Like,
so they're trying to figure this out.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
What are they figuring out?
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Trying to figure out if they could get the change back,
but not even quarters are coming out at this time,
like there's not any change.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
So was he expecting quarters, Like, was he expecting bills?
Speaker 5 (09:51):
I think he was expecting bills. But then once I
were to come out exactly out exactly like, yeah, when
it dropped out, sack of those start coming down where
the sodas fall out.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Maybe this is the first time he's used a vending machine.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Yeah, that could be.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
It's a new thing for him, and so and so
he realizes at that point, no change is coming out.
So now something's fucking wrong with this machine.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Well, maybe it doesn't have that much quarters in it,
I mean, or.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Maybe it's confused because it's not set up.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
It doesn't know that high dollars seventeen dollars quarters, It
doesn't I don't know.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
It's it's wild and so and then while that's going on, though,
at the front the checker machine, there's only two people
there at this point. I'm now in line, so I
can't even try to help them or deal with what
the's going on over there. I'm dealing with this lady
that was a nightmare. She was pressuring me to get
all the add on.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Stuff that's low budget places.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
Is kind of guilt tripping me and like making me
feel like a piece of shit for not getting it.
So I was kind of going back forth.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
With Frond, like you want air bags, man, a one
air ex.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Just just for me? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (10:55):
Can you put it in the driver's seat?
Speaker 2 (10:57):
No, that's it?
Speaker 5 (10:58):
And not no seat filter?
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Yeah, I don't care about Yeah, nobody else.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
So the other lady is having an issue to like
kind of arguing with the other person. So like I'm like, Robert,
you can't like you. They were going to go try
to interrupt them. There's probably and ask for change. Ten
people behind us, everybody's tired, and yeah, ask for change,
ask them to fix this vending machine. So Robert decides
then to pivot, and he decides, fuck it, I'm gonna
(11:22):
eat the twenty dollars, and he starts asking around the
people in line if they want, if they'd like a drink.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
He's gonna buy around.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
Why don't you drink?
Speaker 3 (11:33):
You're going to stay at a hotel, why not just
buy twenty dollars worth of drinks for your really good
idea rather than having a go.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
There was red Bulls, and there I would have.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Yeah, you just buy a bunch of twenty dollars worth
of drinks and then bring to the hotel. Why would
you buy him for random people?
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Little pogcans or something like that. But you know what else?
Speaker 4 (11:51):
You know why I did this? The man loves and
a plus. So everyone's going to for being such a
great guy.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
Yeah, everybody did, and everybody super pumped on him. But
then it did go a little squarely when the final
two kids, he didn't know exactly how much was left
a dollar twenty five or not even, and most drinks
were like a dollar twenty five, dollars fifty or however
much there was. And it was two little boys, and
they go over and they try to start doing it,
and there's no more money
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Left on the so he offered them drinks and then
couldn't afford it, and then and then he put another
twenty in
