Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'll be honest with you. One of the hardest parts
about the job that Jamie does is getting our food. Yeah,
I understand it. It has been this way since the
dawn of time. Okay. All the people that have been
in that position before have gone through this. Four has

(00:21):
gone through this at one point when he was in
that position.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
When you were twenty eleven, did you.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Have anxiety at any point when you would have to
go started?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
When I first started, I didn't want to mess anything up.
Obviously happened. I mean I didn't really mess anything.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
I don't know what happened. Was There are a million
times worse now.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
What we used to do a lot more phone segments
back then.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah, so I wouldn't so once I became the permanent
phone screen or somebody else would.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Get the food.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh I don't think. I don't get it what you
said you got promoted.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, I only get why I made no money.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Little peons go get the food. Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
But uh, and then because we just have we had
two interns.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah, we actually one, We had like seven that one.
It was wild, it was crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Yeah, they would like rotate days. Then there'd be multiple
of them here each day.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
So that's the phone screener, slash whatever you want to call,
assistant producer, social media creator, whatever your job title is, Jamie,
I dodn't even know what do you put on your resume?
Never mind food runner that has morphed into that position.
And so because obviously the four of us can't leave

(01:29):
and if we need food that day, well James over
here has got to make the run. And you know
what today is? Taco about Thursday? Okay, very very important day. Okay,
you don't fuck up talk about Thursday unless you're Jamie.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
It's time for the podcast, completely uncensored and unacting filtered
except for that part, wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
The show's after show starts now? Wow sweet Jay, no, no, no, no, no,
nothing sweet about this boy sour.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
Sour there.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You could fuck up so much on the show and
he does and he literally don't care that No one cares.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
I don't care, like Emily forgetting never remind you about
Disneyland tickets every night?

Speaker 1 (02:25):
And a she did. She actually came walking in here
because she somehow remembered.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Why do you remember?

Speaker 7 (02:31):
Why did Jamie sit up straight when you said that?

Speaker 6 (02:33):
Because I got some assistance on, Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
You remember for you?

Speaker 8 (02:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (02:38):
No, I sent him an email this morning telling him
to remind me at nine you.

Speaker 7 (02:42):
Made up your personal alarm clock.

Speaker 9 (02:44):
Absolutely. I don't want to like that of alarm go
off in here.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
But she acted like she took full crop.

Speaker 9 (02:50):
Absolutely I did.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
Fu. Yeah, if you would have openly praised me, you
just gave me a silly look. If you would have
openly praised me, I would have told you, Jamie. Jamie
told me.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
I kind of laughed about it. I went, I can't
believe you remember, and walked all the way in here.

Speaker 7 (03:03):
Yeah, I just dropped it off and walked out.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Sky. Did I not go, oh my god or something
like that. I said something, Yeah, I remember.

Speaker 7 (03:11):
She was very like.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
Me, Okay, delegating, bro delegating.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay, So I don't care whatever, all that stuff, whatever,
It doesn't bother me at all. We're humans, right, Okay.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Which, honestly, I do have to give you props Eddie,
because I mean you shouldn't give somebody props from being cool.
But a little behind the scenes that people don't know,
a lot of people in this business take themselves really
fucking serious, and it's like we're doing we're just trying
to make people laugh, Like, what do you fucking care?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Honestly, like on air, big rich, really fun loving guy
aff air dude, Holy shit, shit Tyrant.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I've seen that guy just like people.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
I've seen him rip somebody's spine it.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Oh yeah it was.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I've walked in here. I'm like Yo's riches.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
Yeah, but there's a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Families take them very.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yeah, stupid whatever that stuff. I don't but our food order, yeah,
I can't funk. You can't well, Thorne says. This whole time,
I'm paying for it. So if I'm giving you money
for it, Sky is the order taker. Okay, she writes
down what we get, the.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Whole system waves it in the air.

Speaker 9 (04:34):
You gotta go a pie and then.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
Grab a piece of paper.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
First, What do you want?

Speaker 8 (04:44):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Fourteen years it.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Has been going on, Edward, what y? And then and
then I'll go whatever, and she'll write it down. We
give the money and then hand it off to James. Okay,
this has been going on for for like I said,
the dawn the time, so it's written down. You can't
fuck it up. Okay, now you go, well I can't.
I can only do what I can do but then
the people who work there, they can fuck it up. Yeah,

(05:08):
very true. That's why you checked the order. You always
check the You look in the bag and go, okay,
we got two tacos there. Okay, good, good, good god whatever. Good.
If then they fuck up you, obviously you're not gonna
open up my taco or burrito or whatever to make
sure all this stuff you don't want that, don't want that,
but at least make sure the items are correct. Right.
For the most part, he's done a pretty good job. Okay,

(05:32):
there has been a couple of moments here and there,
but overall, you definitely care more than Zeth did.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
That would just blatantly go to a different restaurant and
come back with new food.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
That did happen.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Oh yeah, I want Jerseys and it comes back with McDonald's.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Get pissed when we would order, and then he would
leave and then you're right, it would normally come back
fucked up, and then he would come back. It would
take him like twice as long as anyone, so we
knew well.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Like what he would Sidestein's Yeah, we swear to god,
I swear used to be in this role for the
other show I was on Jeff I toet that so.

Speaker 9 (06:08):
I know how long things take.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
I swear to God, he would sit in that fucking
parking lot.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yeah, we say we're getting Einstein today, goes, I'll see
you tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
He literally would say that.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
He'd acts like they take forever, and I go, I
don't think that's true. I don't remember. It always take
a long time. And now I know it's not true
because when Jamie goes, it takes them. You know, I
don't know ten minutes everything else. So it is what
it is, so ordering. I get all that they may
mess it up, but you got to make sure you
have the right items, or at least the right amount
of items whatever. Blah blah blah blah blah. Okay, I

(06:38):
understand that, but there's a few things that I don't understand.
Number One, if they tell you they're out of something
to make the call on the fly is insanity. Yes, okay,
and this sky You've been butt fucked by this several times.

Speaker 7 (06:57):
Oh dude, it's so bad.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I recall there was a time with Zeth on a
taco about Thursday that made a choice for you that
was one of the most insane.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
Why are you talking about the crunchrap.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Yes, so I got their breakfast crunch rap right, which
is eggs and all you know, a hash brown in there,
so fucking delicious.

Speaker 7 (07:15):
God damn, why's my cholesterol so high?

Speaker 4 (07:18):
So I would get that regularly, and I would always
get the sausage one. And I thought, for some reason,
like the sausage one was the og, was the default.
So one time, since I'm the order writer, I wrote
crunch rap and that's all I wrote. And this motherfucker

(07:38):
comes back with the craziest thing because he claims, Okay,
I didn't write sausage, even though that's what I always get,
even though that's kind of the OG. He goes, no,
there's multiple meat options for your breakfast crunch rap.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Well I think there's three.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Yeah, there's three for your breakfast sausage. And he decided
to go with option number three, which was steak for
sky staking a breakfast crunch.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
Rouco Bell steak. That's where he went, that's a weird choice.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, And he acted like, oh, that would be anybody's default.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
But that's z Yeah, like what I think he.

Speaker 7 (08:18):
Was with you, like he must have been, but like
his face and.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
He's so brutal it's like getting in a fucking shrimp
burrito and be like, well you said brito breakfast b
pretty wild, so that that one. Yet he made his
own choice on that one. And then didn't Jamie do
this to you.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
James again?

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Sometimes they're shame things that you don't feel like clarify.
And this was Taco Bell Thursday, which got a fucking
amazing again, I don't know why my cholesterol so high,
and I wanted Taco Supremes, and so I wrote down
talk Supremes, okay, And it was one of his first

(09:03):
Taco Bell Thursday outings for.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Us, his first run.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Yeah, and this guy comes back and has two takos,
which guy Jamie.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
This guy, yeah, sour James comes back with two Taco supremes.

Speaker 7 (09:17):
They are soft tacos.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Soft tacos out of his fucking mind.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
And he said, well, you didn't specify. I mean, he said,
I assume when people don't specify they want soft jamiees.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Everybody on the fucking planet Earth goes the opposite, Like
soft taco isn't even really a thing.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, I judge people that get soft tako.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
You go hard, you go hardshell probably nine.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
I don't know issue.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Maybe the numbers. I don't know the numbers. I don't
know the numbers, numbers, but but you go hardship obviously,
that's especially in a default situation.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
You got to be a true asshole.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Soft like I barely could eat him.

Speaker 7 (10:04):
It was so fucking weird.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
I would make him go back, guy, wouldn't.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
I never give people.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Probably gave it to him.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Yeah. I think we had another situation today.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Jamie, what the bomber jacket?

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Come on? I feel I give this kid a pass
because he hasn't been that bad, uh, you know with me, especially,
so I'm like, all right, whatever, you know, but this
one again, you got a decision to make. Yeah, and
I'm like, really like, I don't know that I would
make this choice. Maybe I'm wrong, Maybe you guys go
in this direction. So when it comes to taco bell

(10:40):
I am a fire sauce.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Oh too hot?

Speaker 9 (10:43):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Is it though hot? Have you ready?

Speaker 2 (10:47):
That's too much? I go hot, Eddie, what's the hottest?

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I think there's one step on fire.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
It goes it goes medium hot fire, al diapolo.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
This isn't gonna surprise anybody.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
I'm a mild Maybe it's miles tacore, that's fucking weird.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
You need to be punched.

Speaker 7 (11:06):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
That's like saying, yeah, that's really weird. That's weird.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
So you're mild, you're hot, Yeah, I'm fire, Yeah, you're
no sauce dum.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Emily.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Emily is the one that gets soft tacos.

Speaker 8 (11:25):
But you.

Speaker 7 (11:31):
I wanted to and that was more easy.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Sorry, okay, I know that. So at this point, Genie
has gotten so many talk about Thursdays. I don't we
don't even have to write our sauce preferences, right, Okay.
So he comes back in and I see on his
face he's bringing in the order. So some wrong here,
some wrong here, and he may an announcement and he said,

(12:02):
got a little bit of a situation here, And I went, oh,
what the hell happened? Like did they forget my orders?
What's going on? He claims they were out of fire sauce? What?
And I go, they're out of a full sauce. Wait
a minute. First of all, I don't know if I

(12:24):
believe that. I quite I'd question if they said that,
I'd question them. But how could you be out of
a sauce like you don't you always give me a
thousand every time I order. Maybe stop doing that first
of all, although I know needs like a thousand every.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Time a lot I used. I used to a bite
or one a bite, So what is that for a time.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I don't know. It's weird. It's weird. So so there's
always way too many sauces for me in the first place.
But so you're out, you're out.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
I would think they'd have a backstorage or where the
hell box worked in a fast food restaurant.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
They do.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
I think sometimes Jamie goes there and Eddie may have
said something or maybe ask him to do something. He goes,
you know what, and like he does like plays a
psychological game where he's like, you know what, this guy fired,
but I'm gonna tell me the sky chicken her heart
keep asking me to post ship, bitch.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
So he's risking his job over talk about hot. That's crazy.
So he's got to make a choice. He decides, all right, well,
if they don't have fire, what am I? What am
I going to get this guy? Is he gonna go
no sauce? Is he gonna go mild? Or is he
gonna go hot?

Speaker 8 (13:42):
Or what?

Speaker 5 (13:42):
What?

Speaker 9 (13:43):
Do?

Speaker 1 (13:43):
What do we do here? Why?

Speaker 7 (13:44):
Do we do drive to another location?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
If I was him, I would go hot and Diablo
and see which one you liked more?

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Absolutely, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
What all three in agreement?

Speaker 7 (13:56):
Yeah, the options and say these are your two choices.

Speaker 9 (14:03):
He can mix them both together.

Speaker 7 (14:04):
Yeah, h half of this, half of that interesting?

Speaker 1 (14:08):
All three making the same decision.

Speaker 9 (14:10):
What did what does he do?

Speaker 7 (14:11):
Sowar James do?

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Who sour James? He didn't do that?

Speaker 9 (14:15):
What did he do?

Speaker 1 (14:15):
He didn't do that?

Speaker 6 (14:16):
Why wouldn't you do that?

Speaker 1 (14:17):
He got me again a ship ton. I would say, thirteen, what.

Speaker 8 (14:24):
You got?

Speaker 7 (14:24):
Two items?

Speaker 1 (14:25):
So that's solid of just hot sauce, just hot, the
lesser of Yeah, the sauce. So am I wrong here
that I thought that was a wild choice on him? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Well, And I also wonder when said Taco bell employee
told him, oh, I'm sorry, sir, we are out of
fire sauce.

Speaker 7 (14:49):
I would almost think they would say.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Would you like hot or do all blow? Like they
would give you and then he could be like, oh,
I'll have a couple of each. Did they give you options?

Speaker 1 (14:58):
I would like to know the thought process, the situation out,
how to play out what's going on? Yeah, I taco bell.
All right.

Speaker 8 (15:06):
So usually there's this one chick at the drive through
and at the when I placed the order, she'll say okay,
and he sauces for you.

Speaker 9 (15:13):
I pull up today and some dude, some new guy.
I'm already.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Pissed off because there's a guy working because because.

Speaker 9 (15:22):
A new person, they always like whatever. So first off,
he doesn't even ask.

Speaker 8 (15:30):
If I want sauce when I order, So I'm like, great,
I gotta go up there and then like catch him
before he closes the window. They're quick with the window, taco,
drop your arm off, like if you don't pull the
like they give me the food and they're.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
Gone, damn.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, don't say thank you for coming. No okay, no chick.

Speaker 9 (15:48):
Fla, no my pleasure, no nothing.

Speaker 8 (15:50):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
This guy is a former.

Speaker 9 (15:55):
I've been through a few drives through, Okay. So I
get there and I'm like, all right, so I need
fire for the first one and then.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Fire, fire, fire, okay fire. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (16:07):
So the guy goes okay, closes the window, walks away.
I'm just stating there for a while. Uh, you guys
start because I listen when we're like in the car,
like I just you listen.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
To our show thank you. Do you enjoy? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (16:20):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Cool.

Speaker 9 (16:22):
So I'm listening and you guys get right on air.

Speaker 8 (16:24):
So I'm like, okay, cool, I got some time until, like,
I don't have to rush back because I can't give
them their food right away.

Speaker 9 (16:29):
They're on air, okay. I don't know why.

Speaker 8 (16:36):
Before the break in here, before the breaking. So anyways,
you guys get on air, I'm like, okay, cool. So
the guy comes back and he's like, so we're out
of fire sauce. I'm like okay, and he just says nothing.

Speaker 7 (16:52):
So I'm like, oh, he just stares at you. We're
out of fire, chicken.

Speaker 8 (16:57):
So I'll be honest, I forgot that there was a
higher than fire because we never get it, so like
we just maxed out a fire somebody.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
Okay, we max out by the way.

Speaker 9 (17:08):
So I was like, all right, I'll get some hot.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
So you made the call, Yes, you just got an air.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
You don't look at.

Speaker 8 (17:15):
Your phone even sometimes in between breaks. So I was like,
we'll just do we'll just do hot.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
So you're making the call, I go back around because I.

Speaker 9 (17:23):
Get food too. You're only allowed to orders.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Twice this so our food is not cold because this
guy is going around to get it off.

Speaker 7 (17:32):
Your food first, hot, can you go into the store
in order three things?

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah? Probably, I don't get your ass out.

Speaker 9 (17:38):
So so I go back around to step it at
the drive through again.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Okay, he gives you ask for fire again.

Speaker 9 (17:45):
I asked for fire again, and he just stares at me.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Well, why would you ask for fire again?

Speaker 5 (17:49):
I was.

Speaker 9 (17:50):
I was like, did you find any fire sauce?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Because that's a wild.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
Don't you be making enemies at this taco bell bro.

Speaker 9 (17:59):
This guy will be gone eventually. Oh my god, she's
not that good at his job.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
He just stares at me. Okay, so he stares at me.

Speaker 9 (18:08):
He goes no, and then just closes the window, like.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
This psycho just came through and he's coming through again. Well, like,
I just created some fire sauce in the back.

Speaker 8 (18:19):
Hey, you've worked in fast food. I've worked in fast food.
We know that there's extra sauce, probably because it exactly
and I was like, hey, did you find any thinking like, oh,
we're out of fire sauce.

Speaker 9 (18:31):
Maybe I'll go look in the back and there'll be
a box there.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
So in the span of time it took you to
turn around, yeah, I mean.

Speaker 9 (18:38):
He's not the only one working there.

Speaker 8 (18:40):
You can say, hey, guys, I'm out of fire sauce.
No mask, didn't check the back, okay, so so no sauce,
no fire, So no fire sauce.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
And you decided to go hot for me? How do
you feel about you? How do you feel about your
life right now?

Speaker 9 (18:59):
Did you get your to Gordia crunch I did? Did
you get your crunchy Taco Supreme?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
I did? What's your point? You cut your food, so
give me a little.

Speaker 9 (19:10):
Okay, you don't pay for the sauce. Sauce is free.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
What's the point?

Speaker 2 (19:13):
You got what you paid for?

Speaker 1 (19:15):
I just do you think this is a good decision
on this part?

Speaker 9 (19:19):
I had to do what I had to do.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Oh is that right?

Speaker 8 (19:23):
I came back and I looked for some fire sauce
because I keep all the sauces, all the extras.

Speaker 9 (19:28):
You yeah, of sauce in my studio.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
And there was no fire.

Speaker 9 (19:34):
No fire.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
He just love fire.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
This guy's a cocksucker. I don't understand
