So it started with me getting a little bit of
a Sophie's choice where my wife told me you get
to pick what you want to do, pretty much when
you got two kids, guys, sometimes you have to divide
and conquer. And that's the deal with what happened yesterday,
where Deborah told me that you can choose which one

of these you want to do, because they're basically happening
at the same time. One involved my daughter, one involved
my son. The choices are I could be on a
zoom meeting call with his school all in regards to
this East Coast trip that is happening next year. So
when you're in eighth grade, you could take this East

Coast trip where you go to Boston, New York and Washington.
My daughter did it when she was in eighth grade. Yeah,
and you know, so I guess that Jack may do
this now too. And so the information Zoom meeting was
happening yesterday. So to me, that's like going to school,
Like I don't want to do that, Like that doesn't
sound fun at all. I don't want to hear any information.

the host teacher guy, and I'm like what the fuck?
I go oh, shit, am I on? Okay, wait is
there no speakers on? Look? What's going on here?

I'm looking around. Well, I bought a new home computer,
probably a new PC, I don't know, a couple months ago,
and I do remember something because I don't use it

very much, never use it all the time, that there
was some issue with the speakers that we couldn't figure
out how to turn them on. I assumed that they
were built in, you know, like most PCs.

She told me she couldn't get him to work. And
then I didn't ever really look at fixing them or whatever.
And so I go to look and I'm like, oh shit,
there's no speakers. They don't work. And I go, so
do I have to buy speakers for this PC? I
don't even know what's going on, but the bottom line
is the meeting is in progress and I can't hear it.

starting to go over the whole presentation, and I'm.

house trying to find that.

this ship. So I finally figured it out. But now

heard one word, and so I have no idea what's
going on and whatever, and so now I'm locked in
and now I'm sweating. At this point, I'm like, oh fuck.

Because Scott would be at the banquet and then also
zooming at the.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Same well, yes, and Sky would go on the East
Coast trip with the kid.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Yeah, it's definitely aperone.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah, where they literally said parents aren't allowed to go.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Sky would Scott would go, Well, you don't know, my
daughter and me and me and the boo need to
both safety concerns.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
So whatever, no big deal. So it comes. It comes
six o'clock. I turned around, still no meeting, and I'm like, oh,
no way. I look at it and I'm like, no,
it still says host, you know, waiting for you to
join whatever. Yeah, so they're they're running behind. Okay, So
I'm waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, but I'm not really paying attention.
(09:43):
And then I turn around and I see the guy talking,
the host teacher guy, and I'm like what the fuck?
I go oh, shit, am I on? Okay, wait is
there no speakers on? Look? What's going on here?
Speaker 3 (09:56):
So they left.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
I don't know, but nobody's no what he's saying. We
can't hear you. We can't hear you. And so I'm like,
oh fuck, what's happening now? I'm so confused, And so
I'm looking around. Well, I bought a new home computer,
probably a new PC, I don't know, a couple months ago,
and I do remember something because I don't use it
(10:19):
very much, never use it all the time, that there
was some issue with the speakers that we couldn't figure
out how to turn them on. I assumed that they
were built in, you know, like most PCs.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Like he was just hit volume on the keyboard.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
She told me she couldn't get him to work. And
then I didn't ever really look at fixing them or whatever.
And so I go to look and I'm like, oh shit,
there's no speakers. They don't work. And I go, so
do I have to buy speakers for this PC? I
don't even know what's going on, but the bottom line
is the meeting is in progress and I can't hear it.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
So the mouth is moving, Yeah, you're hearing nothing.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, and then he goes to share mode and he's
starting to go over the whole presentation, and I'm.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Like, oh fuck, no, I really I I.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Told her, I kind of like, get the I told
her basically, get the fuck out of here.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I know somewhere somewhere your wife felt this way.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
I'm even if she double checked me. I'm logged in,
see if you're okay.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
So I'm like, she's smiling somewhere.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Literally, I go, get in here, Jack, I go, Jack,
read his lips, tell me if he says anything or
if they share anything important, and I bolt. So I
gotta know, go find my iPad. I don't know where
it is. You know, my Jack uses it, you know,
plays robots on or whatever. So I'm running around the
house trying to find that.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
These things are charged either sometimes.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
I know it's not all the time. So I go,
I'm running by that pad. I go, ran good that pad.
Now I gotta figure out, oh ship, I gotta walk in.
Here's the whole thing. So I'm logging in and no, no,
I'm about seven minutes behind.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
I just would an if my wife asked, I'd be like, oh, yeah,
it was great.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Well, No, I've got to do that because now I
was so defiant the thing, like I'd better be on
this ship. So I finally figured it out. But now
I'm ten minutes into this fucking presentation and I haven't
heard one word, and so I have no idea what's
going on and whatever, and so now I'm locked in
and now I'm sweating. At this point, I'm like, oh fuck.
(12:25):
So he goes over everything. It was all stuff I
knew because again, Taylor's already done the trip. I know
how it all goes, and the itinery is exactly the same.
There's nothing different. So I'm like, Okay, I think I
can get away with this. Like if she asked me
any questions, I'll be like, oh yeah, it was just
like Taylor, that's my answer. It's just like when Taylor,
you know. And so I did make some mental notes
(12:46):
about I knew questions she would ask me whatever. Of course,
at the end of the presentation they opened it up
to questions for the parents.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Let me tell you how many skysh dude, how.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Many sky There's there's some sky, but then there are
some dip ships out there. It's literally like they don't
even understand how travel works. You know, like, does the
plane go to the airport?
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yeah, yeah, the plane goes to the airport. This is
your question.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
And it's all ship that was in the slideshow. It's
all stuff that's on the website. You could look it up.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
It's so crazy the difference too, because you get Emily
who care less if reads even there, and then you
wants to be on the plane.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Will each child get a tracking device.

But then there was like basically somebody says, so what
if my my kid commits a murder or something like that. Yeah,
like basically the worst behavior kid that's never happened before.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
And it's like if we don't want them?
Speaker 1 (13:55):
So I get through all this ship and I'm like, okay,
I pulled it off. I did it. But now I
got a situation because Jack now knows about the whole
thing in the beginning, So take out I let him know. Hey, bro,
what that's between us?
Speaker 2 (14:11):
That's it?
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Okay, we're not we're not you know, we don't ask
the slips here, Okay, I keep my mom asked the
question we were on. There's no lie, there's no lying.
We were logged on.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
You're saying all this to him?
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Oh yeah, and he and he goes, yeah, but you
couldn't hear me? Hey, hey, hey, loose lips. So Deborah
gets home from the banquet, she comes in, talks to
me and Jack, how does zoom go? That's great? What
do you need to know? And I and she goes, well,
when's the blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Blah, answers Jack, what's good for Jack?
Speaker 1 (14:52):
I look over at him and I could tell he
wants to kind of saying. I look at him like
a word, don't you say so? I got away with it.
