Josh, Michael, Aeriel Rhymers, Josh and Ariel in the Morning
Star one four point three eight. Ariel and I are
reading this article year from the USA today, and apparently
a bunch of all or some nasty people just living dirty,
living dirty. And I'm wondering, Ariel, if you're one of them.

(00:22):
We'll see one in four Americans are sleeping in filthy beds.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Filthy beds, filthy, how filthy?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Eleven percent of people wash their sheets less than once
a month.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Oh my gosh, that's not me. How often do you
wash your sheets? Once a week? Same thing? Here, sheets,
the comforter, thing that I have, all of it, hello,
cases all the way down to the mattress. Once a week.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
While they're in the in the washer, I'm fabreezing the
mattress sometimes flipping it.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Wow, I don't go that far. Oh I do. My
dog sleeps with me, and that's that's part of the
reason why should probably do that. Don't untill all four
cats sleep with you.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
But they sleep on top of the comforter. They're not
in my sheets on top of the mattress.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
The only thing that I worry about is my pillows.
They're literally on those things.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah, the majority of Americans wash their sheets every two weeks,
and like I said, eleven percent wash them less than
once a month. Fifty eight percent of people have never
cleaned their mattress.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Me never, never.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I've seen people vacuum their mattress every week, but no,
I've never.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
So you have all of the sheets, everything off of
your bed, and your mattress sits there.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
You know. We have a protector comforter like our protectors,
like one of those, like they are like a.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Dust protect the mattress cover.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
So we have that, Yeah, and then we have another
top or on top of that. Then we have our
fitted sheet. That's three that's three layers. I have to
clean my mattress.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I'm still pulling out.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I have one of those circular like like when you
plug it in the vacum cleaner he goes.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
You know, you're beating the heck out of your mattress.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah. Yeah, that's what I do every week, every week.
Every week. Oh my god, time for that.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I got four cats, thirty that's why you need to
have time for that.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
They're not they're on top of the company.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I cannot I guarantee you take all that stuff off.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
There's cat hair all over the mattress. No way.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You go home and you do your laundry and you
take a picture of your mattress once you take all.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
That so it's gonna beautiful, pristine and clean.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Thirty five percent wash their comforter or dovey less than
once a month, while thirty three percent do it every month.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Like I said, every month, we have multiple sets. I
do it every week. Yeah, I would have one.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Thirty five percent wash their pillowcase every two weeks. Oh,
twenty eight percent do it at least once a week.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
That's me.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Sometimes I watch our pillowcases twice a week because again,
my cats lay on it, no stop on it.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I Hey, we've done other surveys that say you're bet
at one of the nasty spots in your house because
your dead skin are all and mites and all that stuff.
They're all in there, people, they're all in there. You
gotta do your laundry.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
If you're having facial issue, skin issues, it could be
your mattery, it could be what you're.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Sleeping in your pillow cases.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Especially, so I don't I don't play a game.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Now, this is something I do as an adult. I
do remember when I was in college and my roommate
and I never really thought about doing our sheets and
blankets for like the first four months we were there, and.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Then oh that's and college boys.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
And then started up as we started inviting ladies, ladies
into into the into the dorm room, We're like, I
think it.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Was Seth actually their sheets. Now. Seth is like, you know,
we should do our sheets. Oh yeah, we should, just
in case we need to get those Cheetos stains out.
Cheeto stains and beer and beer and everything else. Gross.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Really, looking back on it, I don't know how germophobe
Josh survived living in a dorm when there was twelve
guys using one bathroom.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Stop it. I can't, I can't look back. Josh, Michael
